Im Schlupf in Pforzheim

Wir waren das 2te mal dort und auch das 2te mal war das Essen nicht gut. Das Hühnerfilet war roh, die Spätzle mit viel Colerante (Farbstoff) gemacht damit sie gelb sind. Die Bratensosse hatte so viel Sossenpulver das sie nicht mehr schmeckte und bei der Hitze wurde dann auch noch ein warmes Spezi serviert. Beim ersten mal war der Fisch ungenie8.

Ich komme seit Jahren regelmäßig hier essen und war bisher immer sehr zufrieden. Die Mitarbeiter waren stets freundlich, das Essen lecker und alles insgesamt einwandfrei. Leider habe ich heute eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung gemacht. Mein Freund und ich wollten gegen 21:15 Uhr essen kommen. Vorher haben wir telefonisch nachgefragt, ob das noch möglich sei. Der Mitarbeiter am Telefon bestätigte uns, dass es kein Problem wäre, wenn wir innerhalb von 15 Minuten vor Ort sind. Laut Website schließt die warme Küche um 22:00 Uhr und das Restaurant um 23:00 Uhr. Daher sind wir davon ausgegangen, dass ein Besuch um 21:15 Uhr völlig in Ordnung ist. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir jedoch von einer Mitarbeiterin äußerst unfreundlich empfangen. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir von der Mitarbeiterin mit einem genervten und herablassenden Blick empfangen. Sie fragte daraufhin in einem unangenehmen Ton, ob wir etwas trinken oder essen möchten. Als wir antworteten, dass wir essen möchten, reagierte sie mit sichtlichem Unmut, verdrehte die Augen und ließ uns deutlich spüren, dass wir offenbar nicht willkommen waren. Dieses Verhalten hat uns so unwohl fühlen lassen, dass wir kurz überlegt haben, wieder zu gehen. Selbst Gäste an den Nachbartischen bemerkten die Situation und äußerten sich verwundert über die Unfreundlichkeit. So ein Umgang mit langjährigen Gästen ist sehr enttäuschend und passt überhaupt nicht zu den positiven Erfahrungen, die wir bisher hier gemacht haben. Kritik richtet sich ausdrücklich nicht gegen das Restaurant insgesamt, sondern gegen das Verhalten dieser Mitarbeiterin an diesem Abend. Nach diesem respektlosen Umgang werde ich definitiv nicht wiederkommen. Schade, dass viele Jahre positiver Erfahrungen durch ein solches Verhalten überschattet wurden.

Wir kommen nicht aus der Region, hatten aber einen Gutschein geschenkt bekommen. Also waren wir heute vor Ort. Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht, nachdem die Rezessionen doch recht unterschiedlich waren. Die Portionen waren reichlich, unsere Schnitzel mit Pommes und Beilagensalat. Haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Essen wurde sehr schnell serviert, unsere Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Aufgrund der Entfernung wahrscheinlich ein Einzelbesuch, aber empfehlen können wir Im Schlupf auf jeden Fall!

Wir haben hier die Taufe unseres Sohnes gefeiert und sind mehr als zufrieden!! Uns wurde bei der Anfrage direkt ein Menü mit Fleischplatten und verschiedenen Beilagen sowie Vorspeise vorgeschlagen. Das Essen war geschmacklich seeeeehr gut und die Mengen waren mehr als ausreichend! Hierfür würde ich 100 Sterne geben, wenn es gehen würde!! Wir haben wirklich NUR positives Feedback von unseren Gästen zum Essen sowie zum Service bekommen. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und zuvorkommend! Die Tischdekoration wurde nach unseren Wünschen und Vorstellungen umgesetzt und war sehr schön. Das war in diesem Restaurant bestimmt nicht die letzte Feier für uns und wir können es wirklich wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Vielen lieben Dank an das gesamte Team, wir hatten eine wundervolle Feier bei Ihnen!

Update Mai 2026: Es hat sich etwas getan. Dieses Mal hat mich das Essen und der Service überzeugt. Der Cheeseburger und das Cordon Blue war lecker. Der Preis war angemessen. --------‐-------------‐---------- Nach den ganzen guten Rezensionen waren wir heute auch dort essen. Wir waren eine Gruppe von sieben Personen und haben verschiedene Sachen bestellt. Leider wurden wir doch ziemlich enttäuscht. Die Fertigsoßen, das Dosengemüse, die verkochten Spätzle und das relativ fade Essen konnte leider niemanden überzeugen. Einzig die Salate waren wirklich lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Decken sind hoch so dass es doch relativ laut und ungemütlich zugeht. Alles in allem werden wir hier wohl nicht mehr hinkommen. Sehr schade.

Sehr gutes Essen mit top Preisen.

Wir hatten den 300g Zwiebelrostbraten bestellt und leider war das Fleisch eine komplette Enttäuschung. Die Konsistenz war wie eine Gummisohle – zäh, trocken und kaum genießbar. Man merkt deutlich, wenn Menschen Fleisch zubereiten, die kein Gefühl dafür haben. Dann sollte man lieber etwas anderes kochen oder sich einen anderen Beruf suchen. Gerade bei Fleisch wünsche ich mir mehr Respekt im Umgang damit, denn dafür hat ein Lebewesen sein Leben gelassen. So etwas verdient deutlich mehr Sorgfalt und Qualität in der Zubereitung. Leider war das Ganze grauenvoll und die Fleischqualität ebenfalls nicht gut. Sehr enttäuschend.

Für einen Donnerstag Abend war es gut besucht, trotzdem waren die Bedienungen freundlich und fix. Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich, sehr schmackhaft und reichlich. Unser Hund durfte auch mit ins Restaurant. Ausreichende Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Wir standen mit unserem 7m Wohnmobil über die Nacht auf dem Parkplatz oberhalb des Sportplatzes. Wenn wir in der Nähe sind kommen wir gerne wieder.

Waren spontan via Zufall hier , Service war sehr Nett und schnell , das Essen hat auch nicht lange auf sich warten lassen. Preis Leistung war absolut super. Wir kommen wieder.

Mittagstisch ist zwar günstig und viele Restaurants machen sowas nicht mehr aber es erschließt sich mir nicht ganz, warum ich am frühen Abend „für das, was vom Mittagstisch übrig ist“ auch noch mehr bezahle- einfach von der Logik her. Zum mal drüber Nachdenken für Euch. Generell fand ich den Schlupf früher besser. Fertigsoße ist hier auf dem Programm und das mag und verträgt nicht jeder. Wenn es voll ist, ist die Lautstärke nicht auszuhalten, denn man kommt sich vor wie auf nem Konzert und brüllt sich am Tisch gegenseitig an. Man merkt auch, wenn es voll ist- nur eine Bedienung mit dem Geldbeutel rumschicken um zu kassieren geht echt nicht. Sowohl auf Getränke als auch darauf, dass man bezahlen kann… mehr als ne halbe Stunde für ein Getränk und ne Stunde warten, bis man bezahlen kann. Das ist schlechter Service. Das Restaurant ist zwar schön und draußen sitzen bei schönem Wetter ist toll, aber der Lärm- das haben andere, große Restaurants besser im Griff. Von daher- danke aber nein danke. Es war einmal… gut.

Ich war am 31. Januar mit einer Freundin hier und damals war alles wirklich hervorragend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wir waren begeistert. Deshalb habe ich meinen Mann überzeugt, heute (8. März) noch einmal zu kommen. Leider war es diesmal nicht mehr dasselbe und der Gesamteindruck war deutlich schlechter als beim ersten Besuch – sehr schade. Der Nachtisch war allerdings wieder ausgezeichnet.

Ich habe hier meinen Geburtstag gefeiert.Ich war sehr zufrieden das Essen war sehr gut und auch reichlich.Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr nettes Personal, das immer zum richtigen Zeitpunkt da ist wenn es nötig ist, ausreichend Platz und eine moderne Einrichtung. Sauber und Speisen werden auch verpackt sollte man die angenehmen Portionen nicht vor Ort verzehren.

Leider habe ich keine gute Rezension... Selten habe ich so geschmacklos und langweilig gegessen! Der Salat war von einer faden Cocktailsoße berührt, mein Cordon Bleu fand noch nicht mal mit Salz&Pfeffer meinen Gefallen, weder ein würziger Käse noch ein geschmackvoller Schinken rundeten den Geschmack ab, auch die Panade war sehr "neutral"... Die Soße vom Geschnetzelten war ein billiges Fertigprodukt und die Spätzle waren innen fast noch teigig...! Der Service war ok. Na ja, vielleicht haben wir einen falschen Abend erwischt???...

Das Essen war super lecker. Sehr gute Qualität und natürlich ein Mega Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Ich kann nicht sagen wann ich zuletzt ein so hervorragendes Cordon Bleu gegessen habe. Das Ambiente war meiner Meinung nach sehr ansprechend. Ich empfehle es absolut weiter und komm auch gern wieder...

An sich habe ich es immer geliebt hier hin zu gehen aber heute war ich einfach nur enttäuscht. Auf einmal gibt es aufpreise für die Panade vom Schnitzel aber das war nicht das maßgebende Problem. Das Problem war eher das die Bedienung gegen ende uns auf ziemlich unfreundlicher weise drauf hingewiesen hat, das wir auch Trinkgeld geben sollen. ich gebe immer Trinkgeld aber das ging garnicht.

Großer Speisebereich. Gehobene Clubhausgaststättenatmosphäre. Ich wählte das Schnitzel Santorini, welches mit viel Belag aus Beilage kam, was sehr positiv zu werten ist. Der Service brauchte recht lange zum Aufnehmen, aber nicht weiter tragisch. Der Beilagensalat war leider durch die Haussoße ziemlich ertränkt in fettiger Creme.

Das erste Mal seit Jahren wieder spontan dort gewesen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist ansprechend und lässt nicht mehr auf eine Vereinsgaststätte schließen. Es war sehr gut besucht, jedoch gab es ohne Reservierung noch freie Plätze. Der Service war fix und freundlich. Neben der Speisekarte gibt es auch eine extra Weinkarte, also nicht verzweifeln, wenn in der Hauptkarte kein Wein zu finden ist. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich reich - fast zu umfangreich, was die Auswahl nicht leichter machte. Das Essen, es ist gut, aber hat noch Luft nach oben. Ich hatte das überbackene Schweineschnitzel Santorini mit Pommes und Beilagesalat. Der Beilagesalat kam mit einer Joghurtsoße (?), die Pommes waren okay, hätten aber noch einen Tick benötigt und das Schweineschnitzel war nicht überbacken, es lagen lediglich die Peperonistückchen mit dem Feta obenauf. Mit einer großen Saftschorle und einem abschließenden doppelten Espresso lag ich gesamt bei 34,90€ und Kartenzahlung war ebenfalls möglich. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und man konnte sich gut unterhalten.

Sehr gute Zwiebelrostbraten. Immer gerne ein Besuch wert.

Schlupf used to be good. Sorry, but you can't go there anymore. There's no service, the food has become terrible, they're completely cutting corners on quality... unfortunately, I left everything untouched last time. I wouldn't recommend it.

First time there... for lunch during the week. Absolutely recommended. Because of that, it was quite busy. Nevertheless, they had everything under control. It didn't take long to be served or for the food to arrive... the taste was absolutely fantastic... and the service was friendly, fast, and helpful with special requests.

We were completely satisfied with the food. The quantity was more than sufficient. Excellent value for money.

Good food at a truly reasonable price. A well-run sports restaurant that I highly recommend. They even host birthday or Christmas parties here. I think it's advisable to make a reservation for evenings with a group of people. It's worth it. I'd be happy to go again.

We reserved a table for 6 people. We've rarely had such a bad meal, or rather, rarely experienced such poor service. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were hit by a stuffy deep-fryer smell, which is actually an indication that the fryer oil needed to be changed (and the fries tasted like that, too). The summer menu featured rump steak with farmer's salad. This farmer's salad consisted only of onions (a rock of onions) and nothing else, presented with a total lack of care. The same goes for the quality of the service: when we asked the staff, we were ignored at all. Regarding the rump steak, there's also room for improvement. One part of the steak was well done, and the other end was medium rare; it's an art to get it right. We strongly recommend that the service team change businesses; they were visibly annoyed by every table and didn't enjoy their job. When we paid, the full plates were still in front of us. The lady didn't even ask if the food was okay. The dusty ambiance of the volleyball court was the best part of the evening. Note: My review here was actually quite friendly after last night. Conclusion: Mistakes can happen in any business. But then it all depends on how you treat your guests/customers, or rather, how you handle the situation. The service here was beyond inadequate!

The food was okay. The sauces weren't homemade. The service was mediocre; the waiters weren't familiar with the products and didn't bother to ask for definitive information about the ingredients in the kitchen. My companion had a criticism of the food, which the staff didn't even comment on. The table wasn't cleared, not even the appetizer plates. There's definitely room for improvement.

First of all, I want to point out the extremely poor service. I was so disappointed that my salmon was so carelessly cooked on my plate. The pasta underneath didn't deserve that name. The best part was my Aperol (without a straw), which was at least edible. The waiter didn't clear the table either, and thus didn't get a single cent from me in tip! I will never go back to this place. I've definitely never had such a bad meal—you could just feel that there was zero passion behind it.

They seriously have too few employees. I had to wait forever to order, get my food, and pay. The food was good, but the 30-minute wait to pay really ruined everything.

We were at Schlupf today. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with my meal. Mediterranean chicken breast with rice and vegetables. The rice was practically unseasoned, while the chicken breast was very salty and dry. The grilled vegetables were good. I actually remembered the place being better, so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing today.

The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good and plentiful. The price was fair. This certainly won't be my last time here.

The Culinary Dilemma The restaurant lured us with its wonderful aromas and lively atmosphere. The food—perfectly grilled steak, crisp vegetables—was a dream. The cuisine was clearly top-notch. But the evening turned into a disaster as soon as the glasses were empty. No one came to ask for refills. Empty glasses sat endlessly on the table until we had to take the initiative. It was equally frustrating when we asked for the bill—it felt like an eternity. The outstanding meal was overshadowed by disastrous service. A culinary experience that was unfortunately marred by a lack of attention and left us with a bitter aftertaste.

I was a guest at your Schlupf restaurant today and brought my dog with me. Since there were other dogs in the restaurant, we politely requested a different table to avoid any mutual barking. Unfortunately, our request was not granted. The server in charge reacted extremely rudely and in an inappropriately arrogant manner, which unfortunately had a very negative impact on our visit. I deeply regret this incident, as we have always appreciated the restaurant and hope that your guests' concerns will be treated more respectfully in the future.

The lunch menu here is absolutely recommended! Top quality – everything is fresh and prepared with love. The portions are generous, and you'll definitely be full. The price is unbeatable for what you get. Plus, the super friendly service makes you feel welcome. I'll definitely be back!

The food didn't taste as good this time. I had a breaded schnitzel with pepperoni and feta cheese. It had barely any flavor and was fried far too oily for my liking. The cordon bleu was also too greasy.

Clubhouse, tennis players constantly walking through, drinks a bit lacking in love (no ice, no lemon, etc.), Caesar salad was basically a regular mixed salad without garlic sauce or Parmesan cheese (why call it that then?) and breaded chicken breast strips. Service was unemotional, value for money just about OK, but we won't go there again, but that's a matter of taste. OK for something to eat and drink after sports.

We were there on May 15, 2025, at 6:15 PM. The waitress saw us, but after 20 minutes, nothing had happened, so we left. There were exactly 20 guests there, and they already had their food. You're slacking off.

The restaurant is very good and there is usually enough parking space. This weekend there was probably a football tournament across the street and therefore there was no parking space in the immediate area. This is a problem, especially if you are severely disabled like me.

Wir waren hier auf einer Geburtstagsfeier mit 14 Personen, der Tisch war toll eingedeckt, der Sektempfang hat bestens geklappt, Der Ablauf und Service war ebenfalls gut. Jeder konnte von der vorausgewählten Geburtstagskarte bestellen und was uns erfreute, wir konnten gemeinsam zeitgleich essen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend. Das Schnitzel mit Pommes war super ausgebraten und riesig, auch das Zitronenviertel perfekt. Beim zugehörigen Beilagensalat handelte es sich um eine große Schüssel mir frischen Salaten und leckerem Dressing. Auch die Tagliatelle war aromatisch. Dann noch eine große Portion Eis mit Himbeeren und Sahne, super. Alle waren mehr als zufrieden. Es hat sich wohl herumgesprochen, dass man hier gut essen und einen schönen Abend verbringen kann, und das zu reellen Preisen, denn es war unter der Woche voll. Auch wir kommen hier gerne wieder her.

In short: Only combined ready-made ingredients. Bad advice. Anyone with allergies or intolerances should avoid this restaurant. Not vegan and not gluten-free. Potato salad from a bucket. The dressing was probably ready-made. In long form: We were there with a large group, otherwise we probably wouldn't have gone. When we asked the owner about a gluten-free and vegan dish, he said the salad had no dressing and no dressed salad, just raw vegetables. But he had to think hard, and you could immediately see some panic. All the side dishes were apparently not gluten-free and not vegan. OK, so we ordered, and he instructed the waitress. The salad came standard with bread and was returned. When they brought another salad within 45 seconds, I asked if they had simply removed the bread. The rude blonde waitress said nothing and just rolled her eyes as she walked away. When I asked if the dressing was gluten-free and dairy-free after all, she replied, "Yes, it's dairy-free, it's the oil and vinegar dressing." I didn't want to send the salad back. After moving a few lettuce leaves away from where the bread was supposedly put, I spotted the supermarket ready-made salads under the fresh lettuce leaves and stopped eating. Unfortunately, it was too late, because severe stomach cramps followed shortly afterwards. I don't eat like that for fun. My husband tried the salad in a few places and said it was just ready-made stuff from buckets, like at a cheap snack bar. The service is rated 2 stars because the food was served very quickly for a lot of people. Probably because almost everything is ready-made. The allergen list was pretty poor and incomplete. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you have sensitive stomachs, allergies, or intolerances. We won't be going here again as a large group or as a single family.

We celebrated a 70th birthday in the hatch. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We were accommodated with 40 people in an adjoining room that was far too narrow for so many guests. There was another celebration in the restaurant. We weren't told anything about this in the preliminary conversation and the rooms were only separated from each other by a leaky sliding door. At the other party, Croatian music was playing non-stop and at full blast. It was impossible to have a conversation in our group. Despite repeated requests to turn the music down a little or take a break, we were ignored. We were very upset about that.

Staff is friendly on the phone to make reservations You will be served quickly on site and the menu is clear. The food comes quickly and is very tasty. Food is really tasty and plentiful. Sanitary facilities are clean. The next visit for dinner will be soon.
