IM GRÜN WEISS - Kimi’s Restaurant in Mannheim

We were there with 20 people for a business lunch – and what we found was simply disappointing. Apparently, our reservation had been completely forgotten, as the staff were completely unprepared for our group. The meal dragged on forever, and the only waiter was completely overwhelmed with us as practically the only guests. The real low point for me, however, was my main course: a supposed "veal schnitzel" for almost €30. The portion was tiny, the quality questionable – and after I complained, I was served another piece, but when I finally started eating, I realized that two of the three pieces weren't veal at all, but pork! An absolute disgrace and completely unacceptable. The rest of the dishes in our group also varied considerably in quality and preparation – the kitchen seemed simply overwhelmed. Even the drinks arrived after an eternity of waiting. What was planned to be a pleasant, convivial evening ended in sheer disappointment. The manager present offered no apology or consideration at all – really bad… Conclusion: The price-performance ratio is completely out of proportion. Poor service, questionable quality, and no trace of professionalism. A real shame – we won't be back!

It was my first time there and I was surprised. We were able to sit in the beer garden, which is quite large (well-protected by umbrellas). The staff is very friendly, efficient, and attentive. The food is beautifully presented (a feast for the eyes) and tasty. Good value for money. In the summer, events with various artists are held once a month. Check online for details. Restrooms are clean and well-maintained. Plenty of parking is available. Wheelchair accessible (ground level).

I attended a tennis match today as a spectator and then had a schnitzel with potato salad. The portion wasn't huge, but the taste was acceptable. Only the price of €23.80 for a Coke and the schnitzel with potato salad is very inflated. Due to the price, I can only give it one star.

This was my first time at this restaurant and unfortunately, I chose a time when it was quite busy. Despite that, the food was excellent and I highly recommend it 😊.

The service wasn't very attentive. It was nice, though. You get your drink at the beginning, but that's it. There's almost no opportunity to order another one. The appetizers came relatively quickly. After that, it took an hour and a half for the main course. That's too long. It was just strange that everyone who came after us got their food before us. It seemed like this was because these guests were known there. The pasta dishes were overloaded with Parmesan. The asparagus pancake was too salty. The fish had a strange aftertaste (burnt oil). One dish was missing shrimp. They replaced them upon request. Unfortunately, the food for our nine people didn't arrive at the same time. By the time the last person had their food, the first had already finished. This was probably because during our—let's call it—food distribution, a few items were still being carried to other tables outside. There's a lack of organization in the kitchen. For a restaurant located in the tennis club, I expect a clean restroom. There was no such thing! The restroom was also used by the players and looked accordingly.

Great restaurant, nice atmosphere, nice ambience and nice service. Very nice outside terrace. Very good cuisine.

We were guests in Mannheim last Friday and played tennis against the home team at the He65. After the game, the hosts invited us to dinner in Kimi's Restaurant. Service and ambience were good, the food was excellent. There was roast beef with potatoes, spaetzle and a delicious mixed salad. The food was lovingly prepared, everything was freshly prepared without artificial flavors and was definitely worth the price. So it's also a good price-performance ratio, although the prices can be considered a bit higher. I'm already looking forward to the next game in Mannheim, also because of the excellent food :-)

Leider kann man hier fast keine Sterne für "das Lokal" vergeben. Der Service ist überhaupt nicht aufmerksam und zusätzlich mussten wir fast 1,5 Stunden auf unsere Essen warten. Es gab zu jedem Gericht das gleiche Tiefkühl Gemüse, das Essen war nicht abgeschmeckt und der Salat war nicht frisch. Tatsächlich liegt das Lokal in der Tennisanlage, welche sehr gepflegt ist. Ein Besuch als Gast im Lokal, außerhalb des Clubs, lohnt sich auf keinen Fall!

Sitzen tut man bei Kimi wirklich sehr sehr schön, geschützt unter Bäumen. Der Service war sehr nett. Vom Essen hätte ich mir gerne etwas mehr versprochen.

Im Sommer auf der wunderschönen Terrasse des Feudenheimer Tennisclubs und die köstliche Pizza von Kimi - was will man mehr? Kann es nur empfehlen!

Sehr gutes, gepflegtes Club-Restaurant mit gutem Cross-Over Essen bei absolut fairen Preisen. Sehr nettes Team nebenbei.

Das Essen ist liebevoll angerichtet und hochpreislich gerechtfertigt, sehr schmackhaft. Ambiente ist passend zum guten Essen und rundet das Erlebnis ab. So geht Genießen. :) Jedoch. Man muss viel Zeit mitbringen, denn hier geht es nicht schnell. Der Service ist sehr freundlich aber könnte aufmerksamer sein. Dass das Essen, für einen Tisch zu zweit, bei einem viel später kommt, hat mich doch sehr gestört. Dennoch kommen wir wieder.

Gehobene cuisine..mit überschaubarem Angebot, dafür sehr exquisit..nichts für den kleinen Geldbeutel

Tolle Terrasse, freundliches Personal, ansprechende Gerichte.

Das Ambiente ist schön und man kann gut draußen sitzen. Trotz Sportanlage hat es einen Restaurantcharakter, sehr schön. Der Service ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, trotz voller Terrasse aufmerksam. Danke. Hierfür gab es die 2 Sterne. Schade, dass ich für das Essen max. 1 Stern geben kann. Die Schnitzel waren in Ordnung, die Bratkartoffeln dazu eher fad. Der Burger ging. Der bestellte große bunte Salatteller mit Mango, Avocado und Walnüssen bestand aus grünem Blattsalat, 2 Minitomaten, 2 kleinen Stücke Avocado und 2 Ministücken Mango mit 2 zerkleinerten Nüssen. Wer das als bunten Salat versteht, möge das gerne bestellen. Wir sind einfach nur enttäuscht.

Wir waren gleich am ersten Tag der Eröffnung dort und fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. Die Tageskarte mit Spargel hatte es uns angetan. Das Essen war schön angerichtet und lecker Wir überlegen demnächst dort auch mal eine größere Feier stattfinden zu lassen.....
