IL VINO in Karlsruhe

I had dinner at IL VINO today. It was very tasty and the service was very friendly. The ambience was very nice and very clean. So really great. I always enjoy eating here.

Went to IL VINO Essen on Saturday August 17th. We had 2x pasta and 1x tortellini. The tortellini were extremely seasoned with pepper and the two pasta dishes were more than just carelessly prepared and bland. No spices or anything else. I can't understand how you serve something like this to paying customers and at such a price. Additionally, one of the employees was extremely rude. I politely asked if we could get some parmesan on the pasta and tortellini (there was nothing on it), and I was told that they would normally charge 50 cents for it. My conclusion: The worst place we have ever eaten.

Not recommended, the guy wants 50 cents for a bit of cheese, all just finished stuff, they wanted money to get the food to the table in the bottom drawer really. I expected something cooler, just bad and disgusting, I felt sick afterwards and it's a blatant rip-off. You can get everything in the store for a maximum of 3.50 if not less, as I said, just bad

Really good food and amazing service

I ate at IL Vino for the first time this week and will definitely come back more often when I'm shopping at the ECE Center. The food tasted excellent. The Pomodoro is particularly highly recommended. The service was very friendly and competent. And the music and the good mood of the employees created a good mood and a nice atmosphere. I will definitely come back. Thank you!

Recession for the pasta box. I ordered the Carabonara box. Sauce tasted of nothing, no salt, no pepper, no nutmeg, the egg curdled. The spaghetti had probably been on display for a long time and was torn apart when it was taken out. To call this an Italian meal is an insult. An hour later I started having stomach cramps. Once and never again. P.s. The seller works with gloves, but also handles the cash with them. Buon appetite!

Best pasta in the world and service from both chefs

The coolest people and the best noodles top the 2 chefs are the best and always treated with respect

I picked up the pasta box from toogoodtogo. While the pickup was okay, the food is the most outrageous and worst thing I've ever gotten from this app. Two pasta boxes with leftover spaghetti, dressed with unseasoned tomato sauce and rancid oil and raw mushrooms. I hope the next food inspection clears this place.

Was there to pick up a toogoodtogo order. After several people picking up before me were served very quickly, I was given all the time in the world. I like to quote the comments from the service here. "Yes, wait a minute. You Chinese are always so fast" and "Your necklace is nice. Let's do an exchange. You give me the necklace and I'll give you a nice evening" and after a "no" from me followed "What? really not? Ok, then you don't have to give me your necklace "I can still give you a nice evening."

Not even a single star is too generous for what I would call the worst restaurant of my life. I could tolerate the unfriendly service, absurdly long waiting times, and no credit card acceptance, but I could not stand the rotten smell coming from the bolognese. I'm usually not picky about food and am particularly forgiving when it comes to pasta, but I have never encountered such foul-smelling, low-quality pasta in my life. Even a soup kitchen for the homeless wouldn't serve food of this quality. It smelled so bad that I feared getting sick from even one bite, and when I asked the staff if this was a normal smell, they ignored me without checking. Initially, they communicated well in English, but as soon as the situation became inconvenient, they insisted I speak German. It's surprising this place has managed to operate without any legal sanitation issues. I wouldn’t want to ruin my day over such a worthless restaurant, but I am leaving this review kindly for the sake of others.

I ordered two portions of box pasta - a large portion of carbonara and a small portion of veggie, but the man who took my order spoke to me disrespectfully and also mixed up the orders, and when I left he acted strangely, as if he had done it on purpose.

I placed an order through the “too good too go” app. Order pickup from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. I arrived at 7:52pm to pick up my order. But a rude young man told me that they would stop giving orders 5 minutes before the end. I asked why this information isn't listed anywhere. The man spread his hands and told me that the hostess said so. Okay, let's say, but I arrived 8 minutes before closing, at which point the man threw up his hands again and said come back tomorrow. It turns out they allow 20 minutes to serve food instead of the required 30 minutes. Unfortunately it may not work the way you would like. I was very disappointed and angry. For such a service, 1 point is too much.

What a shop a few noodles for 10€… okay! But the boss doesn't want the food bought here to be eaten in Lasen. Service at the counter was unfriendly!

irresponsible and boorish staff. Instead of working, they talk endlessly among themselves. if you want to be indignant about something, they will definitely ask you about your nationality and then they will find the most boorish employee who will speak your language. he will of course talk about how great he is and how worthless you are. In general, this restaurant is a terrible cesspool that disgraces Italian cuisine.

This is the place where you will get yelled at. I waited 20 minutes before someone came up to the bar and took my cocktail order. I saw four of them, but each was busy with their own business, swearing at each other. Then it turned out that they don't accept cards. After paying in cash, I started to leave, and then their boss started yelling that you couldn't leave with a glass.

Sauce bland and watery. No card payment possible, but €50 notes are not accepted either. Food is served with plastic forks. You get much better for your money. Not recommended.

Review of the Pasta Box Staff is unfriendly, has gloves on, which is supposed to indicate hygiene, but accepts cash with the same gloves. Everywhere, except on a blackboard, it says that parmesan is included in the price. But then suddenly it costs 50 cents extra. The court itself works, but nothing more. A little tomato sauce, a little parmesan, add cold spaghetti to the pan, heat briefly, and you're done. Staff doesn't know what's there: Service: "One order: a pizza Margherita" - Kitchen: "We don't have it" - Service: Astonished face 1/5

Price of the normal sized box 7.90 suddenly 8.90. Drink overpriced for the size. The lady isn't exactly polite either. Oversalt food. In conclusion, it's just not my restaurant and I won't be visiting it again

Food is good, but very, very unfriendly staff.

The food is okay. Lacks salt. Recently had a shard of plastic forks in my food. The only answer was “it has happened several times”. Not possible at all in my opinion...

AWESOME restaurant!!!! Recently there was a piece of glass in my food, it tore my gums open and when I tried to speak to the staff the only answer I got was: “Oh, that happens a lot here”… ?????? No money back and it was rudely made clear to me that I should leave. Unfortunately I can't recommend it. Food is ok, but not well seasoned, tastes like nothing. So if you want to have a bloody experience with a piece of glass in your mouth, then I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

Pasta prepared carelessly, not cooked properly. Mostly unfriendly staff who are more concerned with themselves than with the customers. Not recommendable.

Cheese tortellini with cream sauce: Cream in the pan, add 2 spices from the can (salt and glutamate?). Pasta still hard on the inside and a (!) spoonful of “Parmesan??” for €1.50 over it. Waited 10 minutes for this. There wouldn't be a worse price-performance ratio even with an empty box. Underground!

Guys, the food tasted really good. I recommend number 6 large.

An Italian restaurant in the ECE Center. Next to the restaurant there is a stand where you can get, among other things, pasta in 14 different dishes in a box. Plus pizza and some Italian baked goods. Of course there are also chilled drinks. And if you want even more, go a few steps further and get a small restaurant.

Alles super hier. Der Mann hinter der Theke ist ziemlich flott unterwegs und hat es drauf. Gerne wieder.

Die Lage ist natürlich perfekt, vor allem wenn man beim shoppen zwischendurch Hunger bekommt. Was war gut: die Nudelbox Togo wurde frisch gemacht. Man kann aus 3 Nudelsorten wählen, und bei ca. 5-8€, je nach topping und Soße kann man auch nix sagen. Geschmacklich war's OK, nicht sensationell lecker, aber wirklich essbar. Allerdings ist Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit was anderes. Wenn man zahlende Kunden hat, gehört das halt dazu.

Sehr nette Bedingungen Schneller Service Kaffee immer noch sehr gut. Top weiter so. Dann gibt man gerne mehr Trinkgeld.

Sehr gut und immer freundlich und der Preis stimmt man kann sich nicht beschweren. Der Service ist auch sehr gut und auf die Bestellung haben wir auch nicht lange warten müssen. Ich kann Sie nur weiter empfehlen. Komme definitive wieder 🤗

Schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Etwas laut, aber für ein Bistro trotzdem ein angenehmes Ambiente. Getränke sind korrekt temperiert. Preis ist für ECE-Center ok. Die Portionen pro Person am Tisch sind üppig.

Waren zum Geschäftsessen bei Ilvino im Ece Center, es war sensationell. Ich habe Angus Steak mit Rosmarin Kartoffeln gegessen , meine Kollegen haben irländische bio Lachs gegessen , Lob an die Küche

Il Vino Das Il Vino ist direkt im ECE Shoppingcenter in Karlsruhe. Die Kaffee Bar ist eigentlich sehr schön. Leider hatte das Il Vino schon einige Betreiber. Es hatte immer ein tolles Flair, Leider ist das tolle Flair nun verflogen. Warum? Man hat aus dem Kochbereich mit Theke nun eine Pasta Box togo gemacht. Nicht nur das an der Box das Fast Food raus geht. Noch schlimmer ist das optisch auch so gehalten und gestaltet ist, alles mit Menüfeldern zugeknallt und verklebt als würde man in eine billige Dönnerbude gehen. Kein Flair mehr. Sehr schade, es war mal mein Lieblingsplatz im ECE. Gruß Alexander

Zentrale Lage direkt im ECE Center. Getränke sind geschmacklich gut, auch die Pizza schmeckt. Der Service war heute leider nicht ganz so fit, aber zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Preise sind wie für die Stadt üblich angemessen.

Really tasty food and great service in English and German. Food menu tends to vary but usually everything we’ve tried has been really good. Portions are plentiful and taste is fresh. Good presentation too. A nice place to meet up with friends for lunch or a quick drink. Drinks are fairly priced and decently sized. Sometimes they don’t have what you enjoy on the menu. Some of the best customer service I have seen in Germany! Very friendly, helpful, and attentive.

Das IL VINO ist für mich immer das Highlight in Karlsruhe. Entspannung, Gelassenheit & Chic. Freundlicher und qualifizierter Service und tolle Menschen. Hier findet jeder das Getränk was er braucht um auch eine Pause vom Trubel des Alltags. Auf die Pizza und Pasta ist bedingungslos zu empfehlen. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Hier kann man lecker Frühstücken!

Im Ettlinger Tor ein angenehmer Platz für eine Pause vom 'Einkaufsstress' bei einem Glas Wein oder einer Tasse Kaffee. Kleine Speisen werden auch angeboten. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Guter Espresso, zwischendurch beim shopping

Sehr gutes Café indem man einen sehr guten Espresso nach Original italienischer Art bekommt. Dazu noch kann man auch gut frühstücken für einen humanen Preis. Die Weine sind sehr edel und gut ausgesucht. Der Laden ist meistens sehr voll da er sehr gut ist. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste mal bei euch. Einfach nur bellisima.

Kleines Café und Weinstube im ECE-Center Ettinger Tor. Der ideale Ort, um während oder nach dem Shopping einen Kaffee, ein Glas Wein oder ein kleines Gericht zu genießen.
