We stumbled upon this place by chance. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had no complaints and will be back. The menu is a bit more varied, albeit smaller.

Advance reservations are mandatory. Expectations were higher.

We had to wait for our first drinks. Some items on the menu weren't available. The waiter was super nice and made the best of everything, and he did it in a very funny way. The food was all absolutely delicious.

I ate at Villa Rustica again after many years, and it was really good. I highly recommend the veal liver; it tasted fantastic. The service was attentive and friendly. The seating in the courtyard is very pleasant when the weather is nice. We'll definitely be back.

Wir wurden freundlich in Empfang genommen und obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten bekamen wir nach kurzer Wartezeit einen Tisch auf der Terrasse im Hinterhof. Das wunderschöne Ambiente wurde nur noch von der Guten Küche übertroffen. Dank der Sommerlichen Temperaturen haben wir uns wie im Urlaub in Italien gefühlt. Kommen gerne wieder!

This Italian shop is definitely one of our favorites. Here we experience authentic Italian cuisine in a small, cozy ambience that deliberately avoids chic and instead creates a comfortable, private atmosphere. Every time we visit, we as guests feel warmly welcomed and excellently looked after – a real feel-good experience. Absolute recommendation for anyone looking for a charming, authentic place!

We were here for the first time. It was a very nice evening. I can only recommend the menu.

Food was good. 4 stars overall as the food was really good but not exceptional. Pasta dishes are recommended. Unfortunately, the pizza is not one of its strong points. The pizza wasn't really crispy. You can only eat them with a fork and knife. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean. The price is a bit higher, but that's completely normal for Stuttgart.

I drive 50 km twice a week to eat there because I feel at home

Rather expensive and the service and quality are then only barely sufficient. So it's more of an OK good than a very good one. But I am also very critical and therefore give a very honest assessment 😀

Family run authentic delicious italian restaurant with some highlight dishes and great wooden oven pizza. Overall great value price ratio and good wine options. Service is very friendly, but could be a bit faster. Our higlights were the Octopus starter, 1/2 lobster and the classical Gorgonzola Salami pizza. Since 10 years we are very happy to be frequent visitors.

Stop being so loud!! I know youre italian but my lord youre too loud. I couldnt sleep in apartment across the street, because of you everytime you all meet in late hours. I was considering calling the police how loud you all were yelling while talking, i literally heard every single word. Sorry i had to warn you so it doesnt happen to someone else who booked the apartment.

Seid einiger Zeit gehen wir regelmäßig hier zum Abendessen. Wir können nur Gutes zur Qualität des Essens und des Service sagen. Ein nettes familiär geführtes Ristorante. Eng bestuhlt, aber gemütliches Ambiente. Übrigens wirklich tolle Pizza mit gut gelauntem Pizzaiolo. Und auch wenn’s nicht auf der Karte steht bekommt man auch selbstverständlich einen sehr guten insalata mista. Und ganz amüsant ist die offene Gablenberger Hinterhof-Terrasse, die sogar einen Regenguss dank flexibler Bedachung überstehen lässt. Gerne immer wieder!

In case you're in a search for a best pizza in town, I am sure that you'll hear from multiple sides that Villa Rustica is the place to visit. Its ambient goes well along the given name and once tables around get filled, you'll have the feeling you're not in Germany anymore. Our absolute recommendation - pizza with truffles and fine potato slices (pizza con patate, scamorza e tartufo) will be a reason to come back here again.

...war eigentlich das einzig negative bei meinem Besuch. So möchte nicht jeder angeredet werden. Danach wurde ich von einer sehr netten jungen Dame bedient. Was mir auch wesentlich lieber war. Das Essen war fantastisch und auch das Ambiente gefällt. Klare Empfehlung.

The three of us had dinner and were completely satisfied. The food is fantastic, tasty and the waiting time is reasonable. We were thrilled with the pizza, pasta and dessert. The lava cake for dessert is definitely worth recommending. The atmosphere is rustic and nicely decorated and the tables are appropriately spaced apart. The staff were friendly and gave excellent food recommendations upon request. We arrived relaxed by public transport, we couldn't see any parking spaces. Since we had two people who were hard of hearing, we asked for a quiet place. Some guests were loud, but the overall volume in the restaurant was fine and we were able to have a good conversation. There is a step at the entrance. The rest of the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The toilets are clean and fresh.

I would say that Villa Rustica is my favorite location. This place has a lot of charm. You won't find much in Stuttgart. Not just the charm of the place, but also how this restaurant is lived. You are always welcomed with open arms. The service is really top! If it takes longer, the restaurant is very busy. But this is immediately apologized for and isn't a big deal. Because this atmosphere simply makes you feel welcome and comfortable. If you want to drink a nice wine, you will get very good advice here and there is a wine for every individual taste. Even with the dishes - nothing stands in the way of creativity. Even the simple dishes are wonderful and a taste explosion. For every occasion, every palate and every age group - A MUST.

Guter Italiener mit leckeren Fisch, Fleisch und Nudel/Pizza Gerichten. Die ganze Familie ist mit Herz und Seele dabei. Im unscheinbaren Hof befinden sich ein paar kleine Tische sowie eine neu gestaltete und geschützte Außenterrasse.

Gutes italienisches Restaurant mit rustikaler aber gemütlicher Einrichtung und Speisen, die auch über Spaghetti und Pizza hinausgehen. Qualität ist gut, die Speisen sind lecker. Gute Auswahl an Weinen und freundlicher Service. Preise eher etwas höher.

Heerlijk gegeten! Leuke sfeer en geweldige mensen. Als onze vakantie wat langer was waren we zeker nog een keer gegaan!

Gemütlich, leckerer Italiener im Stuttgarter Osten. Hier kann man nichts falsch machen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Zum Abschluss empfehlen wir den eisgekühlten Limocello 💪

Ich hatte die Ravioli mit Hummerragout. Vom Geschmack tomatig durch die Coctailtomaten im Ragout ab und zu kleine Stückchen von Hummer in der Sosse und die Füllung angenehm sämig und nach Krustentieren schmeckend. Es wird hier traditionelle einfache italienische Küche geboten mit dem einfachem Geschmack ohne viel Schnickschnack aber eher die elegante gehobenere Art und auch Anrichtung der Gerichte. Von dem Gericht alleine wird man allerdings nicht satt. Da sollte man mehrere Gänge nehmen oder dann zur Pizza greifen. Toll angerichtet auf schönen Tellern. Grosse Weinauswahl. Von dem Ambiente her angenehm im Winter doch etwas zugig und kühl. Jederzeit wieder zu empfehlen.

Gutes italienisches Essen in Stuttgart Ost.

Familienbetriebenes Restaurant, was man relativ schnell merkt, weil die Kellner sehr freundlich und bemüht sind. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, es gibt traditionelle Gerichte aus den Herkunftsorten der Familie, die wirklich authentisch schmecken. Ich empfehle die Vorspeise mit Aubergine und Mozzarella aus dem Backofen. Als Hauptgericht macht man mit Spaghetti Parmigiano nichts falsch, auf Wunsch kriegt man das auch ohne Trüffel. Pizza ist okay, man merkt aber, dass sie nicht aus dem Steinofen kommt. Dessert: Pistazien-Tiramisu!! 🤤 zum Dahinschmelzen .. Gehe gern hin, empfehle es definitiv weiter! Angeblich haben sie im Sommer auch eine Terrasse, auf die bin ich gespannt. Preis/ Leistung akzeptabel. Parkmöglichkeiten: hier heisst es Glück, manchmal Geduld, und wenn nicht direkt vor dem Restaurant, hat man eben einen Verdauungsspaziergang inklusive 😉

Super authentische Gerichte die vor allem auch Kennern sehr gefallen werden. Dazu super persönlicher Service - meine italienische Frau und ich sind immer wieder gerne zu Gast.

Sehr angehmes italienisches Restaurant mit sehr freundlicher und humorvoller Bedienung. Ich hatte ein Lammfilet umgeben von Pistazien in einer Rotweinsoße. Fleisch war sehr zart und geschmackvoll, harmonierte sehr gut mit der Rotweinsoße. Das hausgemachte Tiramisu zur Nachspeise war ebenfalls sehr überzeugend. Ich komme in Zukunft regelmäßig hierher und werde es auch jedem weiterempfehlen! Anscheinend ist es in der Regel auch sehr gut besucht und man sollte vorher reservieren.

Einer der besten Italiener Stuttgarts. Super nettes Personal, dass sehr zuvorkommend arbeitet. Die Gerichte sind frisch und mit liebe zubereitet. Einziges Manko ist, dass man eine Vorspeise zum Sattwerden braucht. Mich stört es nicht, kann ich doch nur mehr von dem leckeren Essen probieren!

We were a table of eight and the last pizza came 20 minutes after the first one. The waiters were nice, but the food didn’t convince… plus, for Italian food it’s quite expensive

Per puro caso siamo capitati in questo ristorante molto carino, accoglienza e cordialità assicurata, abbiamo preso una pizza e un piatto di spaghetti pomodorini e burrata tutto buono siamo rimasti davvero contenti e finalmente soddisfatti consiglio vivamente soprattutto se volete fare un piccolo salto con i sapori in Italia !

Wir waren auf das Ristornate "Villa Rustika" bei einem Rundgang durch die Oststadt aufmerksam geworden. Von außen macht das Ristorante etwas her, die Speisekarte klingt vielversprechend, zumal es sich als "Ristorante" abheben will. Als wir am frühen Abend ohne Reservierung ankamen, wurde uns gesagt, dass alles ausgebucht und nur noch auf der Terrasse Platz sei. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war das Restaurant noch fast leer. Wir stimmten zu und wurden am Backofen und der Küche vorbei treppauf, treppab auf eine überdachte Terrasse im Innenhof geführt. Der Charme dieser Terrasse hält sich in Grenzen. Dort begrüßte uns ein junger Kellner, dem es aber schon am frühen Abend an Elan fehlte. Er bedient eher auf die saloppe Art. So dauerte es eine Weile, bis wir die Getränke bestellen konnten. Nach der Essenbestellung dauerte es sehr lange, bis unsere Vor- und Hauptspeisen kamen. Die waren dafür aber eine positive Überraschung! Alles schmeckte sehr lecker! Die Preise dafür sind entsprechend gehoben (Pastagerichte zwischen 17 und 19,50 €). Das Restaurant ist nicht barrierefrei. Die Toiletten sind aus den 80ern des letzten Jahrhunderts und sehr dunkel.

Gute italienische Küche zu fairem Preis

Pizza zur Abholung ist leider in dem letzten 2 Jahren geschrumpft so dass die Preise nicht mehr stimmen. Pizza schmeckt gut. Zubereitungszeiten OK. Ambiente OK. Leider nicht ganz konkurrenzfähig mit der Gastronomie im Umfeld.

5 Punkte weil es keine 10 gibt! Das Ambiente, die Angestellten, das Essen... alles ein richtig gut geschnürtes Paket. Allein die Spaghetti aus den Parmesanlaib... ein Gedicht! Leider aber nur in den "kalten" Monaten.
