Very nice atmosphere that you wouldn't expect from the outside. The service is courteous and very personable. The food also leaves nothing to be desired. When it comes to pasta and pizza dishes, you can choose between a small and large version. It is advisable to choose the small portion if you have a normal appetite. We'd love to come back.

This is also the reason why we chose Il Posto's catering for our wedding on September 6th, 2024. We weren't disappointed, the food (buffet) was incredibly tasty and well prepared. It wasn't a cozy evening, more of a large canteen atmosphere - my partner's food was badly spoiled (prawns in tomato sauce) and my prawns e olio were swimming in oil. I chased very greasy fingers. Home-style starter was ok.

A nice, cozy dinner from Il Posto was in order. No sooner said than done, ordered food to be picked up. Dish No. 1: Pizza Salami, standard everything OK. Dish No. 2: Pasta with salmon, everything OK. Dish number 3: Lasagna Al Forno (type of house) completely flop. For €11.90 you can get 2.5cm x 4cm lasagna, drowned in 750ml of the finest tomato infusion. Not even my two-year-old daughter can get enough of it. And that as a main course! After finding it at home, the employee on the phone promised to pick up a new lasagne. No sooner said than done - lasagna only 2cm x 3.8cm. We prefer to leave Il Posto unless you need something for the hollow tooth.

We were greeted very friendly as we passed through and were given a very comfortable table for two. The ambience of the restaurant, the service and the food really left nothing to be desired. The presentation of the menu on a chalkboard exuded Italian flair and the anticipation of homemade pasta increased. As a greeting from the kitchen, homemade bread was served with the best pesto ever. The price-performance ratio turned out to be absolutely appropriate. The very friendly service contributed to the immediate feeling of well-being. There was a small cup of pesto😁 to take home because it was so incredibly tasty. Here enjoyment, friendliness of the guests and high-quality gastronomy are very important.

Delicious ambience in a quiet location near the city center in Reinbek. The waiters were extremely friendly and we even got bruschetta, which wasn't on the menu. I recommend the dishes on the changing monthly menu, which are very tasty. On weekend evenings you should make a reservation or call in advance to see if something is available.

I was very satisfied with my spontaneous visit to the Italian restaurant in Reinbek after a walk. Without a reservation, I was quickly seated and received a warm welcome from the friendly waiters. Various seasonal dishes were presented on a table, which made a special and fresh impression. The ambience was typically Italian and modern at the same time. Everything was clean and well-kept, which added to the good overall impression. The room temperature was a bit too cool for me personally. First there was bread, olives and tomato paste, which tasted very tasty and fresh. The cutlery was well maintained and the candlelight created a cozy atmosphere. The service responded to special requests and was able to competently answer questions about the dishes on offer. I chose a large pizza scampi (32 cm) for €17.90. The food came quickly, about 10-15 minutes after ordering. The dough was excellent – ​​fluffy, thin and still crispy. The topping (tomato sauce and a little rocket) was also well balanced and the scampi tasted excellent. Overall the food was very good. The Italian cappuccino with nice foam rounded off the culinary experience perfectly. The toilets and sanitary facilities were very clean and well maintained, which further confirmed the positive impression. There was parking along the main street, and afterwards I could see a sign from the restaurant saying that there was supposedly a parking space for customers on a side street. The Italian has its price, but the bottom line is that the price-performance ratio is right. Overall, I was very satisfied and can recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes home-style Italian food.

Well attended restaurant. Very attentive service. Limited parking space by the sides of the road. I'm not sure about the accessibility of the lavatories for wheelchair users. I took the stairs to visit the loo in the basement floor. Probably someone else can advise. I enjoyed the visit.

The staff was super nice, the scampi and vegetables tasted good, the pesto didn't taste like anything and the ice cream tasted very artificial! So unfortunately only 3 stars! 🤷‍♀️

We were more than happy with the service and the food. We were warmly welcomed and the food was great. The antipasti was great and there was a lot that we have never had prepared like that anywhere before. It was also great that the chef prepared green asparagus for me, even though it wasn't on the menu with beef fillet. The staff were all very friendly and we really enjoyed the evening.

Very exciting, this review is 2 years old and has not been commented on by me, now I am being contacted by a lawyer saying that I was supposedly never here in the restaurant and that I was "lying". Dear restaurant team, is this how you deal with a dissatisfied customer, after two years? Why wasn't there a direct response and inquiry... I actually wasn't there after my one-time visit, but when I was there, my food was clearly over-seasoned and the service wasn't particularly friendly either. After this campaign, I actually have even less desire to give your restaurant another chance...

I was also asked to correct my review. Obviously the restaurant needs this - everyone can form their own opinion. I don't think 3 out of a possible 5 stars is that bad, but I definitely know a lot of much better Italian restaurants.

Update April 10, 2024 I was again asked by a letter from a lawyer to delete this review because it was assumed that it was not true and I had not been in the restaurant. Service: Too clumsy and jovial and when the food comes, stand at the front of the table and call out to ask who the food belongs to, I'm sorry. THAT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL Positive: Although it was well attended, the noise level was, well, acceptable. Everyone should decide for themselves whether the following can be viewed as negative. The menu? One DIN A4 page. Food on the front, drinks on the back. All the dishes were squeezed onto one page in a barely legible size. In terms of style, the only thing missing was photos... Open wines, the plural doesn't fit here 1 each type of white, rose and red as well as Lambrusco, and that from an Italian restaurant?? No alternative even when asked. The board with the daily specials was barely readable because of the scratchy writing. Oh, and if dishes from the table are sold out, why don't you delete them? It's child's play on a board like this, something I had to do at school as a child. Prices: Ok, given the situation I can absolutely understand price increases. But then the dishes should also be adjusted to the prices, which was not the case here. The food was ok, but not Italian at all, or was it? it was the name of the dish. However, if you're hungry, the normal portion is a lot, so it's a good thing I didn't have any antipasti. This was my third and last time here, what a shame.

Wir haben hier schon ein paar mal gegessen. Leider war es heute nicht so gut wie sonst. Die Pasta hatte wenig Schinken und die Sahne hätte besser verkocht sein können. Die Pizza war okay, aber war auch schon besser. Naja das nächste Mal wird's besser.

Last night we had pizza🍕 margarita, il posto salad,🥗 salami pizza with mushrooms and lasagne. Everything was super delicious 😋. So for the food 5⭐️. When we called yesterday, you spoke to us very, very nicely. So there’s also 5⭐️. When we picked up the food, the restaurant was beautifully decorated 🕯 and dimmed in a very nice light 💡. Hence the ambience also 5⭐️. This is a great restaurant. 😄I recommend it.😄

Very nice restaurant with a cool and friendly team

Drei Personen waren zufrieden mit ihren Gerichten, ich leider nicht. Hatte Risotto von der Tagestafel bestellt. Das Risotto ähnelte eher einer angedickten Tomatensuppe mit Risottoreis. Der Reis war stellenweise hart, das Gericht total geschmacklos, nur lauwarm und mit Käse überbacken. Mengenmäßig eine Vorspeise, und das für 18,50. Leider habe ich erst nach dem Essen meinen Unmut kund getan. Die Bedienung entschuldigte sich vielmals und bot einen kostenlosen Nachtisch an. Der Service in dem Restaurant ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Nice place. Pizza wasn't to my liking, it wasn't baked through, the edge was crispy but the middle wasn't cooked through.

Uncomplicated reservation for around 50 (!) people aged 21 and over after a competition. (And we were able to stay longer.) Thank you 🙏🏼 Well-rehearsed and nice restaurant team that took orders for so many quickly. The food came quickly and for everyone at the same time and was very tasty! Friendly atmosphere. Children love it, parents love it 🤩 Great job!

2x außer Haus bestellt, das erste mal Pasta, das zweite Mal Salat. Nudeln waren geschmacklich mittelmäßig, aber der Salat hat gar keinen Stern verdient. Tomaten sehr weich , dadurch wenig appetitlich. Das dazugereichte Brot hart. Für mich leider erledigt.

Hervorragendes italienisches Restaurant: Sehr nette Bedienung & Inhaber. Immer ein lustiger Spruch auf den Lippen, was den Besuch wahrlich auflockert. Mitarbeiter seit über 15 Jahren dort tätig - das spürt man. Die Qualität des Essens ist angenehm hoch. Etwas mehr Vielfalt in Sachen vegetarischen / veganen Alternativen wäre top und der aktuellen Zeit angemessen - aber das kann ja noch kommen 😊

Dieses Restaurant hat unseren Kurztrip nach Hamburg mit einem super Abendessen abgerundet. Direkt super freundlich empfangen worden und so zog es sich durch den Abend. Wir hatten Antipasti als Vorspeise, vorab gab es noch einen Brotkorb mit Hausgemachtem Tomatenpesto. Eine sehr gute Pizza als Hauptspeise, danach noch ein Espresso, Perfekt! Vielen Dank 🙏

Restaurant abends zu dunkel ausgeleuchtet. Auf mehrfache Nachfrage wurde heller gedimmt. Chefkellner drehte dann aber rüde das Licht wieder herunter, so dass man sein Essen kaum erkennen konnte. Kellner im Allgemeinen recht „anzüglich“ Frauen gegenüber.

Preis Leistung stimmt nicht mehr, da dass Essen gegenüber früherer Zeiten deutlich schlechter geworden ist. Steinpilze in der Pilzsaison als TK Ware. Wir nicht wieder.

Mit meiner Geburtstagsfeier im Il Posto war ich sehr zufrieden. Der Tisch war schön gedeckt, das Essen für 25 Personen kam gleichzeitig, heiß und lecker. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Vielen Dank für das gelungene Fest! ♡

Unbeschreiblich toller Service, unbeschreiblich leckeres Essen, unbeschreiblich gute angemessene Preise. Ich hatte einen Tisch reserviert und um etwas Deko gebeten, da ich meinen Mann an unserem Jahrestag überraschen wollte. Und siehe da, wir kamen an und der Tisch war sehr schön geschmückt:) Wir fahren fast ne Stunde zu euch pro Strecke, aber das tuen wir sehr gern und ab und zu immer mal wieder :)

Sehr gutes Restaurant, mit leckerem Essen, das schnell serviert wird, von nettem Personal. Bei der nächsten Durchreise kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder;-)
