Good Italian restaurant, especially mushroom dishes, as the name suggests, are highly recommended. The bruschetta with mushrooms is also very tasty. The prices are also very fair, especially individual pizzas/pasta dishes and the house wine are very cheap.

After initial service challenges, all I can say is: good service, good selection, good prices Tiramisú simple & plain (not too sweet, not too bitter) 5-6€ Risotto simple & plain 11€ (gladly (more?) cheese added, only gave a cheese crown) Bruschetta (4 pieces, 1 already eaten in the photo) simple and simple, mushroom topping particularly tasty €5-6

We got a table for two people without a reservation because the service staff really made an effort. I found it very nice that the employees spoke Italian to each other, which gave the whole thing a special flair. I can only recommend the Silziliano pizza (with anchovies and capers). The toilet is not barrier-free as it is in the basement and can only be reached via stairs.

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience with the restaurant. The food is below average (no fresh ingredients, oily food). The service tried hard. It's dark with no music at all, and the atmosphere is correspondingly uninviting. It's the worst Italian I've ever met in Augsburg. Only the prices are cheap.

I can't understand all the good reviews. Maybe the restaurant used to be good or had a different owner. I, on the other hand, found this restaurant experience just subterranean. The food is at maximum snack level, as is the service and the interior. The toilets have never seen a mop and there was no soap either. The restaurant, located in the university district, may be a small change from the cafeteria food for the students and it is too expensive for that.

Ich kann die ganzen guten Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Evtl. war das Restaurant früher mal gut oder hatte einen anderen Eigentümer. Ich hingegen fand dieses Restaurant-Erlebnis einfach nur unterirdisch. Das Essen ist max. Imbiss-Niveau, ebenso die Bedienung und das Interieur. Die Toiletten haben noch nie einen Wischmob gesehen und Seife gab es auch keine. Das Restaurant, im Univiertel gelegen, ist ggf. eine kleine Abwechslung zum Mensa-Essen für die Studenten und dafür ist es auch schon wieder zu teuer.

Food is good but small portions. Service was rare despite a quiet day.

Very popular Italian restaurant with a nice outdoor area/beer garden. Friendly and attentive staff, for example, comes with a pizza cutter to cut the pizzas. Extensive menu with daily recommendations. The food came very quickly, was attractively prepared and tasted very good. The prices are absolutely reasonable. Definitely worth a visit, we would love to come back!

Elegant atmosphere and good service. Unfortunately, not everyone was convinced. The pasta dishes in particular were insufficiently seasoned. Pizza including special request spinach was convincing. Italian restaurant with friendly service. The food came quickly, warm and at the same time, even though we were there with a group. The pizza was very tasty.

We sat in the beer garden in the evening. Nicely roofed, nice service, good food. It was a bit busier so we had to wait a bit, which was ok since we didn't have a reservation.

I like to go there as an alternative to the cafeteria or the Unikum. Because the price is more than fair and the taste is also great and you can usually get a table without a reservation. They offer a large consistent selection of pasta and pizza and a side of rotating dishes that are some unusual and some seasonal. What I can really highly recommend are the sage butter gnocci and the pizza siziliana

The classic Italian restaurant is definitely worth a visit! The food is delicious. We mainly know pasta (arrabiata - just right) and pizza. I recently had very tasty buffalo mozzarella with lukewarm cherry tomatoes from the weekly menu. The service is attentive and authentic. The house wine will be replaced with a selection next time. The white wine hasn't convinced me twice now. We like to come spontaneously and there is always a place for two people. Otherwise it will be rather difficult.

We've just come from an excellent meal - even though the four of us "set up" here unannounced... Our South Tyrolean friends and we from Chiemsee had a very good meal, enjoyed fine house wine and also celebrated dessert. Highly recommended Ristorante with nice service. It's a shame that it's too far away from home 😉

Essen gut.Nachspeise (Apfelringe mit Eis) hat mir nicht geschmeckt. Großes Lob an den Service. Der Kellner war sehr sehr nett.

Ich war anfang Dezember in diesem Restaurant zu besuch. Zu Beginn war war alles top das Personal nett und der große Steinofen ist natürlich beeindruckend. Auch das restliche Restaurant ist eigentlich auch ganz schön, wenn es nicht so dunkel wäre. Ich verstehe natürlich, wenn man gerne eine warme Atmosphäre in seinem Restaurant hat, jedoch ist es so dunkel, dass selbst der Sitznachbarn seine Handytaschenlampe zum lesen der Karte benötigte. Aus diesem Grund bekommt das Ambiente 3 Sterne Bei dem Gericht, welches ich bestellt habe (Tortellini mit Spinat und ich glaube Mascarpone) wurde ich leider sehr enttäuscht. Zum einen hatte man mir das falsche Gericht gebracht. Es waren Tortellini mit Schinkenfüllung (ich bin Vegetarier) wie ich beim ersten Bissen feststellen musste. Zudem waren es auch noch so billig, getrocknete aus irgendeinem Supermarkt. Die Dame aus dem Service hat das ganze anstandslos mitgenommen und hat mir auch gleich eine alternative angeboten, da die eigentlich bestellten Tortellini an diesem Abend gar nicht zur Verfügung standen. Daher gebe ich dem Service 4 Sterne. Besagte alternative klang gut, waren aber leider nur verkochte Nudeln, mit viel Sahne und TK-Spinat. Deshalb gibt es dafür nur 2 Sterne. Jedoch sah die Pizza meines Sitznachbarn sehr gut aus und war laut seiner Aussage auch sehr gut. Aus diesem Grund kann ich auch nur für mein Gericht sprechen. Abschließend kann ich sagen, dass mich das Restaurant leider nicht wirklich überzeugen konnte.

Habe nun bereits öfters dort gegessen, bzw auch bestellt und abgeholt. Die Pizzen waren jedes Mal Top! Dünner und knuspriger Boden, der Belag frisch und reichlich... trifft total meinen Geschmack. Preislich sind die Pizzen sehr günstig. Ich meine mich zu erinnern, dass lediglich eine Pizza über 10€ kostet. Diese Angabe ist ohne Gewähr. Der Service ist auch unglaublich nett, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Ich werde in Zukunft dieses Restaurant öfters besuchen. 5 Sterne von mir, da es meinen persönlichen Geschmack und Vorstellung von Service rund um erfüllt.

Mein Lieblingsitaliener in Augsburg!

Ich war nun schon öfter hier zu essen und wurde selten enttäuscht. Ambiente wie in einem klassischen italienischen Restaurant, Service sehr schnell und nett und das Essen super. Die Pizza ist hier fantastisch, so wie der Schwertfisch den ich zuletzt hatte. Leider gibt es beim Wein keine große Auswahl, aber abgesehen davon ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Super Auswahl an delikaten Speisen und Getränken serviert von einem freundlichen und kompetentem Team. Das Ganze zu absolut unschlagbarem Preis.

Haben zum Glück am Samstagabend noch einen Platz bekommen und sind sehr freundlich bedient worden. Essen war gut aber die Gnocchi fast ein bisschen wenig... beim nächsten Mal nehme ich eine Vorspeise dazu. Aber das ist natürlich Geschmackssache. Es gibt bestimmt Menschen denen ist das zuviel :-) Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Restaurant.

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen, Filete di Manzo und Spaghetti Napoli, wunderbares Essen 🥣 aufmerksamer Service und schönes Ambiente.

Absolut unmögliche Bedienung! Wir waren dort zu 4 Personen und fragten die Bedienung nach einem Tisch im Schatten. Dieser wirkte genervt und zeigte auf eine Ecke, in der einige Tische frei waren. Daraufhin setzen wir uns an einen Tisch, der noch nicht reserviert war. Als der gleiche Kellner wiederkam, forderte er uns unfreundlich dazu auf, aufzustehen, da der Tisch bereits reserviert sei. Als wir fragten, warum der Tisch dann keine Reservierungskarte habe wie die anderen, wurde er laut und sagte, es gebe keine Reservierungskarten mehr. Als wir ihn dann nach einem anderem Tisch draußen im Schatten fragten, zeigte er auf einen mitten in der Sonne und sagte "DANN SCHIEBEN SIE IHN EBEN SELBER IN DEN SCHATTEN!". Widerwillig tat er dies auf unsere Bitte hin selber. Schlussendlich hatten wir genug von dem kahlköpfigem, launischem Herr und seinen Launen und gingen nebenan eine großartige russische Pizza essen. NIE WIEDER!

Das hat sich aber so richtig gelohnt. Wir waren eigentlich auf dem Weg zum Türken, bogen aber noch rechtzeitig ab. Das Il Porcino hat uns nicht enttäuscht. Vom Salat zur Pizza, das war wirklich sehr lecker. Die größte Freude war wieder einmal der Preis. Qualität und Quantität sind in einem sehr guten Verhältnis zum Preis.

Wir sind seit über 30 Jahren Gast im Porccino und wir waren bis vor ein paar Jahren immer sehr zufrieden. Leider hat das in jeder Richtung sehr nachgelassen. Wir haben dem ganzen immer wieder eine Chance gegeben, leider vergeblich. Wir waren zu viert da, haben Pizza und Spagetti Carbonara bestellt. Das Personal war durch die Bank unfreundlich , der Teig der Pizza nur außen knusprig und innen matschig, so das unsere Freunde nur den Belag gegessen haben. Die Spagetti waren nicht mal gesalzen und die Soße wässrig, insgesamt kein Geschmack. Und alles auch die Pizza waren nur lauwarm. Ich habe den Rest trotzdem mitgenommen, in der Annahme das ich es zuhause noch ein bißchen verbessern kann. Als wir das Essen angesprochen haben, wurde die Bedienung ( die sich als Geschäftsführerin zu erkennen gab) sehr pampig. Sie nahm den Pizzateig, der zurück ging, in die Hand und sagte, schaun sie der ist knusprig und das innen ist NORMAL. Es gab keine Entschuldigung , im Gegenteil sie waren dann alle sehr unfreundlich. Wir haben zu den Spagetti keinen Löffel und keinen Parmesankäse bekommen. Insgesamt hat die "Geschäftsführerin" uns verklickert, das es nicht sein kann dass das Essen nicht schmeckt, denn ich habe ja die restlichen Spagetti eingepackt zum mitnehmen, also muss es ja geschmeckt haben. ich werfe aber grundsätzlich nichts weg. Das einzige das an dieser Pizzeria super ist, ist der wunderschöne Biergarten, aber das hilft ja nicht, wenn das Essen nicht schmeckt.

Die Pizza ist wirklich sehr gut! Die Pasta-Gerichte haben uns auch immer geschmeckt. Fleischgerichte haben wir nicht probiert da ich es seltsam finde dass es beim Italiener als Standardbeilage Kartoffeln gibt. Der Service ist korrekt, leider wie überall eher unterbesetzt. Der Preise sind wirklich gut.

Am Spätsommerabend eine wirklich großartige Zuppa di Pesce auf dem Vorplatz des empfehlenswerten Restaurants. Der Sud der Fischsuppe einfach köstlich! Viel fester und daher nicht beim Kochen zerfallender Fisch, ein paar wohlschmeckende Garnelen und Muscheln. Dazu einen einfachen und dennoch empfehlenswerten Weißwein.
