Il Porcino Ristorante in Augsburg

Ich bewerte hier jetzt mal nur das Ambiente und den Service weil wir gar nicht erst bedient wurden... Meine Frau und Ich wollten mit unserem einjährigen etwas zelebrieren und haben uns einen schönen Abend gewünscht und daher einen Tisch auf 18 Uhr reserviert. Auf die Frage beim reservieren hin ob wir draußen einen Tisch haben können weil es überall sehr warm ist momentan, wurde uns gesagt dass heute nur drinnen bedient wird weil es regnen soll. Als wir pünktlich ankamen saßen an 2 anderen Tischen draußen Leute und waren am Essen und trinken, eine Servicekraft Stand im Eingang bei der wir uns angemeldet haben (Ohne Regen). Insgesamt waren vielleicht 5 Tische besetzt mit Gästen (drinnen und draußen). Auf die erneute Frage hin ob wir uns auch draußen hinsetzen können gab es ein zögerliches Ok. Nachdem wir uns gesetzt hatten fing es dann an zu regnen, als wir dann nach 30 Minuten vergeblich auf eine Karte gewartet haben hieß es auf Zuruf aus dem Laden hinaus plötzlich dass wenn wir bedient werden wollen, wir hineingehen sollen. Da haben wir dann beschlossen zu gehen und woanders zu essen. Wirklich daneben das Verhalten der Servicekräfte!

Sehr gutes Restaurant,Das Pizza und der Salat waren hervorragend.

Wir waren nach einem Jura-Vortrag mit neun Personen hier essen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass wir trotz fehlender Reservierung schnell und unkompliziert einen Tisch für unsere Gruppe bekommen haben. Der Empfang war zunächst freundlich. Leider ließ der Rest des Besuchs stark zu wünschen übrig. Die meisten von uns bestellten Pizza, eine Person Pasta. Die Pasta war in Ordnung, die Pizzen dagegen enttäuschend. Der Teig war extrem dünn, teilweise fast papierartig, sehr sparsam belegt und an einigen Stellen sogar verbrannt. Für die aufgerufenen Preise hätten wir deutlich mehr Qualität erwartet. Meine Pizza „Sophia“ für 12 Euro war leider geschmacklich nichts Besonderes. Auch der bestellte Cola-Mix war eine große Enttäuschung und schmeckte eher nach Cola mit einem Schuss Orangensaft als nach einer Spezi. Noch enttäuschender war allerdings der Service. Aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen an diesem Tag hätten wir uns gewünscht, nach dem Hinsetzen zumindest kurz anzukommen und die Karte in Ruhe anzusehen. Stattdessen wurden wir bereits nach wenigen Minuten mehrfach zum Bestellen aufgefordert. Die Kommunikation wirkte dabei recht hektisch und wenig freundlich. Am Ende des Besuchs mussten wir zudem sehr lange auf die Rechnung warten, obwohl wir mehrfach darauf hingewiesen hatten, dass wir zahlen möchten. Vom ersten Hinweis bis zum tatsächlichen Bezahlen vergingen fast 20 Minuten. Auch das Abkassieren selbst wirkte eher genervt als kundenorientiert. Insgesamt war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns leider nicht stimmig. Schade, denn der erste Eindruck war durchaus positiv. Wir werden vermutlich nicht noch einmal kommen.

Wir waren gestern mit einer Gruppe dort. Aufgrund eines Konzerts in der Nähe war das Restaurant sehr gut besucht. Das Personal war stets bemüht, wirkte jedoch (gerade am Ausschank) deutlich überlastet. Auf mein Bier musste ich etwa eine Stunde warten, auch andere Getränke kamen mit großer Verzögerung. Der Eindruck war, dass die vorhandenen Kapazitäten für den Andrang nicht ausgereicht haben. Hier wäre eine bessere Planung der Auslastung wünschenswert gewesen, damit die Servicequalität trotz hoher Nachfrage gewährleistet bleibt. Das Essen war dagegen sehr gut und hat überzeugt. Warum man jedoch auf seine Getränke 1 Stunde warten muss ist mir unverständlich. Schade, dass die langen Wartezeiten den ansonsten positiven Eindruck so getrübt haben.

Nach einer nicht ganz problemlosen Anreise nach Augsburg war das IL Porcino ein sicherer Hafen. Sehr gutes Essen sowie zuvorkommendes und sympathisches Personal, das uns direkt einen größeren Tisch zuwies, damit unser Hundi mehr Platz hat. Wir waren begeistert! Herzenempfehlung für alle mit und ohne Hundi!

Wir waren gestern mal wieder zum Pizza Essen dort. Der Service war wie immer sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Pizzen sind ebenfalls sehr gut, sowie die Vorspeise. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Ich habe Pizza bestellt, aber leider kam sie kalt bei mir an. Geschmacklich war sie nicht gut, aber durch die niedrige Temperatur hat das gesamte Erlebnis gelitten. Gerade bei Pizza erwarte ich, dass sie heiß und frisch geliefert wird. Sehr schade – hier besteht definitiv Verbesserungsbedarf bei der Lieferung. Personal ganz schlecht

Waren schon öfters da, weil es in der Nähe ist. Und auch öfters Pizza bestellt. Für das Essen reichen nur 2 Sterne. Auf den Pizzen ist fast gar kein Belag drauf, schmecken auch nicht. Nudelgerichte sind noch ok. Fleisch und Fischgerichte sind auch nichts besonderes.

Meine persönliche Erfahrung war gemischt: Die Pizza hat mir gut geschmeckt und der männliche Kellner war freundlich und aufmerksam. Beim Service gab es jedoch Probleme. Unser Tisch wurde trotz mehrmaligen Hinweises von der Kellnerin nicht abgeräumt. Als wir erneut nachgefragt haben, wurden wir schief angeschaut und es wurde mit den Augen gerollt, was ich als unhöflich und unangenehm empfunden habe. Insgesamt war das Essen gut, aber der Service hat meinen Eindruck leider etwas getrübt.

Akustik für Gespräche trotz vollem Haus war super angenehm.

Ich war an einem ruhigeren Wochenende dort, daher war das Parken sehr einfach. Die Pizza war eine angenehme Überraschung. Sie ist auch für Kinder gut geeignet.

Die Ricotta-Spinat-Ravioli mit Kirschtomatenragout und Basilikum sind absolut köstlich und sollten unbedingt fest auf der Speisekarte stehen! Die Pizzen sind preiswert, was super für Studenten ist. Die übrigen Gerichte sind in Ordnung.

Großartiges italienisches Essen. Man merkt, dass das Essen gut ist, wenn Koch und Pizzabäcker nur Italienisch sprechen.

Leider sehr enttäuscht worden. Waren zu dritt zur Mittagszeit da. Das Restaurant war komplett ausgebucht- wir hatten reserviert und bekamen einen gemütlichen Tisch. Wir teilten uns die Bruschetta-Variation als Vorspeise. Noch nie habe ich so eine schlechte gegessen :( 3 labbrige Stücke Brot waren mit etwas ungewürzter gewürfelter Tomate belegt ohne jegliche Würze von Basilikum, Salz, Pfeffer oder Knoblauch. Die anderen beiden waren mit dosenpilzen!! belegt ohne weitere Würze. Echt schade, dass man so etwas einfacheres auch bei Stress nicht hinbekommen hat. Als Hauptspeise gab es 2x das Nudeltrio- ein paar sehr harte Tortellini mit Basilikum Pesto. Ein paar Spaghetti carbonara (geschmacklich top!) und ein paar Penne mit geschmacksloser Tomatensauce. Dafür, dass es das teuerste Nudelgericht war, eine echte Enttäuschung- geschmacklich, sowie auch von der Größe her. Für fast 17€ hätte ich etwas mehr Nudeln und auch Fleisch als 3 Stücke Speck in der Carbonara erwartet. Die andere Hauptspeise waren gnocci mit lachssahnesauce- die waren super lecker mit viel Lachs und zum preisverhältnis zum Trio echt günstig mit ca 12-13€. Auch wenn viel los ist, erwarte ich eine gewisse Freundlichkeit des Personals- war leider an dem Tag uns auch nicht gegönnt. Ich würde der Pizzeria nochmal eine Chance geben und eine Pizza dort essen. Dann aber sicherlich zu einer anderen Tageszeit. Vielleicht hatten wir einfach nur Pech an dem Tag, weil so viel los war und die Küche nicht hinterher kam :(

Sehr freundlicher Chef und Service. Essen sehr lecker. Uns wurde das Lokal empfohlen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Preise wie früher, zumindest ist in Freiburg alles viel teurer. Ganz sicher kommen wir wieder wenn wir in Augsburg sind.

Super guter Italliener - Restaurant sehr empfehlenswert, preislich moderat. Auf der Karte sind nicht nur Pizza und Pasta hat, sondern es wird Wert auf echte itallienische Küche gelegt. Preislich auch sehr empfehlenswert. Wir haben kurzfristig mit 10 Personen Platz bekommen und wurden zügig sowie freundlich bedient. 👏 Leider war für meinen Geschmack etwas wenig Salz an den Schweinemedallions und in der Steinpilzsauce. Aber Salz ist bekanntlich Geschmackssache. 😉 Wenn ich wieder in Augsburg bin, komme ich sicher wieder. Bis dahin spreche ich hier eine klare Empfehlung aus.

Wir waren heute dort Abends beim Essen. Es war sehr viel los aber trotzdem haben die beiden Kellnerinen einen super professionellen Job gemacht, sie waren beide richtig auf Zack und trotzdem unglaublich freundlich. Das Essen war zudem wirklich sehr Gut. Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist völlig in Ordnung.

Hello, I wouldn't even give one star for service. I ordered a calzone by phone for pickup. After 15 minutes, the pizza was ready. I wanted to pay by card, received a cash receipt, and now comes the most outrageous part: The pizza cost €10.60, and the waiter entered €12 without my permission, as you can see in the pictures. I'm willing to leave a tip for good service, but this is completely unacceptable. I only noticed this when I got home, since I paid with my phone. The pizza wasn't even that great.

We were there for a business lunch on December 15th and 16th, 2025, with about 25 people. The reserved table was beautifully set, and we weren't too crowded. The waitstaff were quick, very friendly, and took our drink orders first. These arrived promptly. The food order was also taken quickly, and the many special requests were accommodated. One person wanted only bread with their steak and no side dishes, others wanted vitello tonnato and half a carpaccio as appetizers, and so on. Everything was noted and arrived at the table exactly as ordered. On the first day, I had the misto antipasti and then the delicious monkfish fillets with potatoes and vegetables. Yesterday, I opted for the vitello tonnato and the spaghetti pomodoro. All four dishes tasted fantastic and were plentiful. All my colleagues also praised the exceptionally good food and the efficient and very friendly service. Yesterday, even the owner, Bruno, came to our table himself and explained why there's a T-shirt with Ronaldo's original signature hanging on the wall. He also told us a bit about his three restaurants. There's absolutely nothing negative to say about this restaurant. Even the restrooms are clean, and it has everything you could possibly need. I lived in the university district in 1996, and even though I haven't lived there for 27 years, I still go to Il Porcino. Delicious food, super friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Only one other restaurant in Augsburg has managed to keep me as a satisfied customer for so many years. And it's not an Italian restaurant 😉. I hope Il Porcino stays around for a long time!!!

They cook delicious food and have an excellent wine list.

Born and raised here – I practically grew up in this place. The best pizza – thin, crispy crust, balanced, comforting flavor, baked to perfection in the wood-fired oven. The finest ingredients, and for many, many years, the taste has been unbeatable. Bruno and Max are very professional and warm-hearted hosts. I hope to find a piece of home here, a slice of pizza, well into old age.

A great Italian restaurant with a very large and varied menu. All the dishes we had at our table were exceptionally good and delicious. The service was prompt, friendly, and very attentive, even though the restaurant was packed. Dining out is fun.

Very nice location, delicious pizza and pasta. We discovered it by chance. We're staying at a nearby hotel. €40 for 1 Pizza Quattro Stagioni, 1 Spaghetti Romagnola, 1 salad, and 2 drinks. We were very satisfied.

The food, no matter what, is absolutely fantastic! 🥰 I've never, and I'm completely serious, eaten such amazing spaghetti carbonara as I did in this restaurant. 🤤 The pizzas are also absolutely amazing. You can taste the high-quality ingredients and the love they give it. The service was incredibly friendly, competent, and very attentive. You can sit comfortably in both the beer garden and the dining room. It's a shame we live so far away, otherwise we would become regulars. But perhaps, and I hope so for you, my review will make it easier for others to decide to come to your place for a delicious meal. 😇

The food was very good, and the service was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is okay. The seating is too close together and there's no air conditioning.

We used to be weekly regulars here – unfortunately, the restaurant has declined considerably. Outside, it starts with chairs covered in bird droppings and some of the table setting is a bit dated. We ordered three pasta dishes with chanterelle mushrooms and extra bacon. The portions varied greatly – while one dish had plenty of chanterelle mushrooms and bacon, the other was more like a culinary game of scavenger hunt. The chanterelle mushrooms also had quite a crunch. One portion also included a toothpick. The waitress responded with neither an apology nor a word, simply took the plate and fork away without comment and eventually brought a replacement – without a fork... The bill was neither adjusted nor was there any compensation for the inconvenience. Once a reliable favorite, today, unfortunately, only a shadow of its former self. A real shame about what was once a very good Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. We won't be back.

What the exterior might not suggest, once you step inside, you feel like you're on vacation in Italy. This is mainly due to the staff. They are real Italians who know how to make pizza, bruschetta, grilled vegetables, pasta, and other delicacies, and speak ITALIAN. A good Italian radio station plays in the background. The staff is very friendly, and remained so despite the crowds. Perfect!!

Tasty, Good service, Fair prices

We were there twice recently, and everything was fantastic. We had fish, meat, and pasta dishes. The best fillet in Barolo sauce we've had in a long time. The service was exceptional.

I picked up pizza today and was pleasantly surprised: Since I don't eat pork, the pizza knife was washed especially for me before my pizza was cut, entirely on the staff's own initiative. I found this level of attention and consideration impressive! You rarely experience such care – other restaurants could really take a leaf out of their book. Very friendly and attentive team – highly recommended!

Our absolute favorite "I don't feel like cooking, let's go" Italian restaurant in all of Augsburg. My favorite pizza is the "Calabrisella." I have no idea where they get the salami from, but with the onions, olives, and Parmesan, it creates a wonderful flavor combination. Juicy, salty, sweet, and crunchy. The wood-fired oven certainly contributes to the great taste.

Risotto was good. Pizza was average.

Unfortunately, it's gone downhill a lot. Tomato mozzarella (1 small tomato and 3 slices of mozzarella) isn't worth €9.90. Pizza is okay if you like it thin. Takeaway lasagna is half a restaurant box. Definitely not enough for one man. Some of the staff were very unfriendly. (I haven't seen one of them in a while, though.)

We stopped by without a reservation shortly before a theater visit. The restaurant was busy, but the very friendly staff quickly found us a table. The food is delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. We'd love to come back!

I can't say anything about the service and ambience. Today we ordered a pizza with Parma ham and an antipasti plate via ubereats. On the antipasti plate, the pickled tomatoes were already fermented... not to mention the pulp. Unfortunately most of it ended up in the trash. Pizza was just fine. Living less than 1 km from the restaurant Pizza arrived cold and the antipasti plate was dripping with grease. What a shame!

Very disappointing! My beef carpaccio was still frozen when I ordered it. After I pointed this out to service, the plate was taken away and not returned until about 10 minutes after our meal was finished - thawed but inedible. It seemed like the same thing had been given back to me. In addition, of course, I paid for the inedible carpaccio and received no apology.

For me it is unclear why guests are seated in the dark back corner by the television even though the rest of the restaurant is empty. If the guest then has to ask after 5 minutes whether he can order something to drink, the evening is already over. The food was delicious.

Good, inexpensive food that is quick and fresh at the table!

Unfortunately the starters were disappointing. The Caprese (€9.90) was way too expensive (not just too expensive, but cheeky for that price) for what was on offer. The mozzarella with tomato (a large one) was served without dressing, so you had to make it yourself at the table - not bad, but unusual. The taste was nothing special, just okay. The bruschetta (€6.20) came with ready-made mushrooms, which greatly spoiled the overall impression. Here too the taste was rather mediocre. For the main course, the tagliatelle with broccoli and shrimp was a disappointment. The pasta was not homemade, almost unseasoned and had very little taste. The curry sauce (not found on the menu) didn't go well with the rest of the ingredients at all - a strange combination that unfortunately didn't work together. The pizza was okay, but calling it a “Diavola” is definitely misleading. I would have expected more spice and the typical spiciness of the salami. Overall, a rather disappointing meal, especially considering the prices. Unfortunately not a restaurant that I would recommend. Best regards Werner

Something hidden in the university district. Perfectly accessible by public transport, you can also go by car if you're willing to look for a parking space. Very friendly staff, well-kept location, delicious food. Recommended

We love going here to eat, nice cozy atmosphere, good food (today spaghetti nero, swordfish and roast beef as well as an affogato for dessert should not be missed) great prices. The waitress is very personable and friendly, always with a smile on her face. See you soon

Me and my work colleague were just there. We hadn't made a reservation beforehand and everything was actually full, but the very nice waitress made it possible for us to eat something anyway. Personally, I would like to personally thank the waitress again for the great service. The meal came very quickly and also tasted really tasty. Simply recommended!
