Our favorite Pizza place in Mainz! Really nice Neapolitanian style pizza and nice service. We come here regularly and it never disappoints!

Lots of choice on the menu. Service was OK. Nice to sit outdoors. Prices were reasonable. Calzone was good although slightly doughy (this style of pizza is quite doughy) but the topping was all in one half.

The pizza was excellent and so was the service. The ambience leaves room for improvement, but was compensated for by the service and the good food.

Excellent welcoming place with open kitchen and super attentive staff. I tasted two pizzas although the place also offers first and second courses, and I must say that expectations were more than exceeded: very fresh ingredients, soft dough with a high crust... everything was excellent (even the tiramisu😋). Super recommended

Unfriendly, unprofessionalism, too expensive, very poor service, no cleanliness. If a small coke costs almost €4 then it's just a rip off!!! you want to go to an Italian pizzeria but this quality is not met there at all!!! in the kitchen and the man who works there as a manager doesn't work cleanly, zero cleanliness, selfish, unfriendly manager or host. IF YOU WANT TO GET A STOMACH PAIN GO !!!!! Never again!!👎👎👎👎

We had an excellent meal, it was really delicious! The restaurant is small but nice, we would love to come back!

Unfortunately no photo. I was too excited and curious. When the Pizza Siciliana with extra fried peppers and garlic came to the table about 7 minutes after ordering, I was too busy enjoying it. In a nutshell, I'm already looking forward to future visits and would like to thank the host and his time. Come and enjoy yourself.

Basically, the pizza was very tasty, freshly topped and with a crispy edge that was nice and soft and airy on the inside. The base could have been a little crispier but almost all pizzerias in Germany have this problem. The service, however, was a disaster. Unfortunately, the waitress with the dark hair got ahead of her colleague who had already served us and was unfortunately completely unprofessional and unfriendly. Ordering the pizza without parmesan wasn't possible at first, then it was, then not again and besides, it wouldn't taste good without it anyway. Basil instead wouldn't work either (even though it's significantly cheaper), I've never experienced anything like that in any pizzeria. However, her behavior was completely disinterested and rude the whole time, including towards other guests, which unfortunately can ruin your evening. I know Mainz is known for poor service, but it's still not fun, even if the food is good. Maybe she should learn something from her colleague or consider changing jobs.. 🤙🏻

Really, very tasty pizza - also in special variations. One of the best in Mainz. Recommended!

I found the food and service to be okay at best. Had a good carpaccio and a margarita pizza with mozzarella. The dough had too many black burns and was largely tasteless, unstable, floppy and hung from your hand like a wet rag. What was previously on the pizza fell directly onto the plate. I wouldn't eat it a second time.

There's only one thing to say about the food: the look was ok!!! The dough was a soft dough that has nothing to do with pizza and absolutely no taste! Unfortunately a complete failure and not a recommendation 👎

It has nothing to do with Italian pizza but everyone should have their own experience! For me it was the first and last time!

An oasis-like place I found after I was tired of greasy and salty European food. I came in at 6 o'clock and sat down safely, but it soon became crowded with customers. The mild pasta and pizza were both delicious, and the price was perfect as it was similar to Korean food. There are only a few types of beer, but they are perfect! A place I want to come back to when I come to Mainz😃 Ciao!!

Good pizza, high prices but snack bar atmosphere

Don't be fooled by the positive reviews, it is not even remotely comparable to a normal, truly Italian pizza, let alone authentic Neapolitan pizza. Chewy and cheap pasta, chewy and cheap mozzarella, ingredients in general not particularly tasty. Calling it Neapolitan pizza is offensive. Furthermore, the place is not very welcoming, the staff are not very welcoming, they have started to arrange tables and leave the door open (in January) an hour before closing time. And finally, truly absurd prices for a pizza like this. To be avoided.

Leider nicht zu empfehlen! Zunächst einmal wollten wir Pasta bestellen, um dann zu erfahren, dass (obwohl es in der Speisekarte erwähnt war) heute keine Pasta gibt. Das hätte man bereits beim Austeilen der Speisekarte erwähnen können und nicht erst beim Bestellvorgang. Also bestellten wir Pizza. Die Pizza war nicht sonderlich gut, denn der Teig war relativ durchgeweicht vom Belag und nicht schön knusprig wie er sein sollte. Zudem wirkte die Bedienung auf uns lustlos. Das Ambiente war nichts Besonderes. Es gibt definitiv viele bessere Italiener in Mainz.

Wir haben uns Pizzen bestellt, Pizza Tonno sowie eine mit Salami und Schinken. Die Pizza hat sehr bitter geschmeckt denn der Rand sowie der Pizzaboden waren größtenteils schwarz.

Fantastische Pizza und kreative Optionen. Der Teig ist wirklich ausgezeichnet. Das Restaurant selbst ist allerdings etwas eng.

Service könnte deutlich besser werden aber Berliner sind meistens in alten grauen Deutschland nicht wirklich willkommen…

Food was great. I ordered a mushroom chicken pasta. It was tasty, if it comes with a bit more sauce it would be fantastic. As the pasta gets dry to finish the rest of the dish.

One of the best pizzas we've had in a while, super delicious. You can tell the bakers know what they're doing and want to make tasty pizza. Also it's easy to make the pizzas vegan, they make them without cheese if you ask, and you can create your own.

Ziemlich teuer aber die Pizza war lecker

Selten eine so leckere Pizza (Phantasia) gegessen!! Sie war knusprig, nicht trocken, aber auch nicht fettig, und eine tolle Komposition aus verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen (u.a. Birnen, Walnüsse, Trüffelcreme).

Kleine Pizzeria aber große Qualität

Das Essen war Spitzenklasse. Sehr sehr lecker und jedem zu empfehlen der gute italienische Küche zu schätzen weiß. Gerne wieder um weitere Gerichte zu probieren.

Die Pizzeria wirkt auf den ersten Blick recht unscheinbar. Die Pizza selbst ist jedoch als überdurchschnittlich gut zu bewerten. Der Preis ist absolut solide. Perfekter Ort um nach dem Marktfrühstück auszunüchtern.

Wir saßen draußen an einer kleinen idyllischen Gasse in Mainz und ich bestellte als Vorspeise das Bruschetta und als Hauptgang die Penne Genovese. Beides war sehr lecker, die Penne unerwartet scharf, aber im Rahmen. Der Service war ziemlich freundlich.

Mitten in Mainz liegt die Pizzeria und ist dadurch gut zu erreichen. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und nett. Pizza gibt es in allen Variationen, auch Wunschpizza ist mit auf der Karte. Es schmeckt lecker und wird immer frisch zubereitet und dazu flink an den Tisch gebracht. Der dünne Teig ist echt super. Dazu alles zu fairen angemessenen Preisen... So soll es sein...

Wir sind spontan ins Il Pomodoro und bekamen direkt einen kleinen Tisch. Das Ambiente ist nicht sonderlich spektakulär und nicht besonders gemütlich. Der Blick auf den Pizzaofen ist sehenswert. Der Service war an diesem Abend ok. Die Toiletten waren in einem nicht sehr sauberen Zustand. Die Pizza war sehr gut!!! Sicherlich eine der wenigen Anlaufstellen für wirklich gute neapolitanische Pizza in Mainz!! Wegen der Pizza kommen wir gerne wieder 🍕👍🏼
