For me, the best restaurant/café in the market hall – outstanding and the best cappuccino, very, very tasty food, great staff and you can sit outside.

We went to 'il Monello' for breakfast on a Saturday. There are plenty of waiters who take your order at the counter. Drinks are taken to your table, and your food is given a number and brought to your table later. The outdoor area is well-designed and has a parasol. The food was fresh and delicious.

My favorite stall in the market hall for years. Especially in the summer. Despite the hustle and bustle, the employees are always friendly and welcoming. Everything moves really quickly. Card payments have also been accepted for some time. There are several standing tables inside, and outside you can sit in the sun between a few oleander bushes. You might have to wait for a seat. Why: - Good cappuccino - Fresh, crispy rolls with generous toppings - The best Aperol in town. And all at reasonably fair prices, too.

Great atmosphere, Italian flair and good selection of drinks. There are delicious snacks at good prices, freshly prepared and quickly brought to the terrace outside. A recommendation!

Everything is perfect: the drinks, the food, the service, the prices. It's definitely the best cappuccino in town. The best thing, however, are the employees: they always have a smile for their guests, are friendly and courteous despite the enormous workload. We enjoy going there regularly and would miss it very much.

The service was excellent despite being extremely overcrowded. However, we only bought “to go”. The cappuccino was really good. We didn't eat anything because it was just too crowded and hectic.

Waited 1 hour 15 minutes and still didn't get the rolls that we ordered at 10:00 a.m. We asked several times, guests who ordered later had long since had their breakfast. As an apology, after 1.5 hours there was an orange juice for 2 waiting people with 2 straws. However, the waitress sent us in to ask where our food was. Coffee was great. Rolls delicious. There was no panini, just rolls. That was nothing today.

My “Italian breakfast” in the Hanover market hall. Always delicious toast primaverde, panini, tigelle, rolls with mozzarella and other dishes. The coffee specialties are extremely tasty. This stand is always well attended, even at lunchtime and in the evening. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the sunshine outside. It's self-service both inside and outside.

Ich habe gleich einen Tisch im Außenbereich gefunden. Was ich verzehren wollte musste ich mir am Tresen holen. Das Personal war freundlich, was ich verzehrt habe war gut und schmackhaft.

il Monello ist natürlich weitbekannt in Hannover und man muß kaum noch was zu dieser Institution sagen - und das ganz zu Recht. Ich möchte nur eine Kleinigkeit loswerden: die belegten Brötchen - Tunfisch, pikante Salami, Mozarella mit Tomate, Parmaschinken - ein Traum. Einfach, frisch und köstlich. Bestellen, in die schöne Eckbank verziehen und genießen! Und dabei dem Trubel zusehen....

Mit Abstand das beste Café in Hannover. Hier wird der Kaffee heiß serviert !! 👌👌

Bester Cappucino und die belegten knusprigen Brötchen köstlich aber auch der Kuchen Italien pur immer wieder gerne ein schöner ort für eine kleine Einkaufspause.

Wer ein frisch zubereitetes Brötchen essen möchte, ist hier richtig. Man hat eine vielfältige Auswahl an Belag und kann zwischen verschiedenen Brötchensorten wählen. Dazu ein Cappuccino oder einen frischen Saft … perfekt. Empfehlung: Parmaschinken Brötchen

Immer guter Kaffee bei il Monello. Eigentlich ist jedes Kaffeegetränk dort zu empfehlen, ich bevorzuge aber den Espresso. Monello heißt sehen und gesehen werden. Es lässt sich gut in der Sonne draußen sitzen. Eine gute Adresse in der Markthalle!

Super nettes Personal immer bemüht und liebevoll bereitet Essen und Kleinigkeiten

Immer wieder schön im Bauch von Hannover einen Cappu bei unserem Il Monello zu genießen. Egal ob am Tresen oder auf dem nett angelegten Außenbereich fühlen wir uns gleich wie im Urlaub. Auch immer gern früh am Morgen als Treffpunkt und Start in den Arbeitstag. Volle Punktzahl 😁.
