I ordered spaghetti Bolognese and a large mixed salad without dressing (for takeaway). Had I eaten in the restaurant, I would have sent both back because they were both very tasteless. The Bolognese sauce had no spices, no onions, no carrots, and no celery, as is the case with an authentic Bolognese; unfortunately, it had zero flavor. The salad arrived with dressing, even though I ordered it without, which made it taste very bland. The only good thing was that the pasta was a large portion, but if it doesn't taste good, that doesn't make much difference. What a shame.

A solid Italian restaurant. The "Pavarotti" pasta is excellent, as is the "Emiliana". The antipasti mista we shared earlier was a disappointment.

We were staying at a nearby hotel, and because this restaurant has a high rating, we went there for dinner. Unfortunately, we can't give it a high rating, because this was about the worst pizza ever. The crust was good, but the rest was a soggy mess. The cheese was also tough, and when you picked up a slice, all the toppings slid off.

Best Italian in Munich and authentic

I've eaten here at least 10 times now. With and without children. A wide variety of dishes: pizza, pasta, fish, meat. I don't think I've ever seen an Italian restaurant with such consistently excellent quality across the board.

We stopped here for a bite to eat on our way to Slovenia. With a 4.8 star rating on Google, we expected a bit more. It's not bad, but not great either. Several tables weren't clean or had been partially occupied. There were also dust traps. The pizzas were decent, but the cheese was a bit tough. The four-cheese pizza didn't have blue cheese on it anyway, which is usually the case. The Melenzana (eggplant with tomato sauce and mozzarella, among other things) was decent. The sauce seemed like it came from a can. In short, it's fine for a quick bite, but don't expect too much.

Two of us ate here. Our pizzas were delicious and well-topped. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend the restaurant.

A true culinary highlight in Denning! We recently dined at Il Gusto and were thrilled by the warm atmosphere, the attentive service, and – above all – the fantastic food. We particularly like the pizza burrata: a crispy, wafer-thin base, perfectly baked in a stone oven, topped with fresh ingredients, and crowned with a wonderfully creamy burrata – simply heavenly! The lasagna was also an absolute delight: wonderfully aromatic, with juicy meat, a delicate béchamel sauce, and perfectly melted cheese – you can tell that the food is cooked with love. Il Gusto completely impressed us, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. We'd love to come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys high-quality Italian cuisine.

I've been to il Gusto Ristorante Pizzeria in Bogenhausen twice. The first time was okay/satisfactory. So I tried it again, and this time it was a disaster. 1) The food is satisfactory to "okay," nothing special. So, out of 10, I'd give it a 3 to 5. 2) The ambiance is cozy and nice enough, so nothing against it. Out of 10, I'd give it an 8. 3) The service is a disaster. Out of 10, a definite 1 (one)! And it's precisely because of the service that I would strongly advise anyone not to go there.

Even though I arrived half an hour before closing time (the kitchen usually closes two hours earlier), the pizza was freshly prepared. Everything was excellent from start to finish! The restaurant is clean, comfortably furnished, and equipped with high-quality cutlery. I ordered the pizza to go and even got a 10% discount. I'll definitely be back tomorrow!

A very cozy little restaurant. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside. So far, everything has been delicious – especially the pizza bufalina – I would be delighted if it became part of the regular menu. The service is always very friendly, even when it's busy.

It was the first time that I ate here and I'm sorry that, contrary to most of the reviews here, I have to say something negative. 1. Contrary to what we said on the phone, we had to wait a relatively long time until we were seated and then served at some point. 2. I have probably been served the worst carbonara here in a long time. The good thing first: no cream was mixed in. The bad thing: there wasn't really any egg in it either. Instead I got pancetta with pasta floating in oil and fat, although the portion hardly justifies the hefty price of around €16. I was really looking forward to some classic carbonara, but to be honest, the visit here completely ruined this dish for me. Actually, it has to sit really well in egg and not swim in fat. I don't plan on going here again. I'm really sorry.

We ate at Il Gusto a few days ago. Even though the sea bream didn't taste exceptional and I didn't notice anything, food poisoning left me completely exhausted. I noticed as soon as I ate that I was getting stomach cramps, and for the next few hours and night I struggled with all of Tipy's symptoms. For 3 days in a row I have only been able to get out of bed to a limited extent. I'm going to the doctor on Monday because it doesn't seem like it's getting any better. My conclusion, the sea bream was already dead 3 times

Super tasty Italian, we have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Pizza, pasta, salads and meat have all been tried and really, really good! Yes, it's true, the waiting time for the food is a little longer, but that's no reason not to visit this Italian restaurant. Enjoy the waiting time with delicious wine and good conversation, after all that's why you're going to eat/Italian!

To put it bluntly: they know how to cook. We've been there five times now. Whether pizza, pasta, or risotto - we enjoyed everything. But: prices have recently increased significantly, at least in some cases. A 0.5l wine spritzer went from €6.90 to €8.50. That's more than 20%. We reserved a table yesterday at 7 p.m., and it was a maximum of 30 cm from the next one. They used every possible square centimeter. In my opinion, this also exceeds the maximum permitted number of guests. It's brutally loud in the restaurant; conversation is almost impossible. The air quality is poor, and it was about 28 degrees Celsius. The kitchen and dining room staff are completely overwhelmed by the sheer number of guests. We waited an hour for our food, and it didn't arrive at the table nearly at the same time. Reordering drinks was almost impossible because no one was there. We had to go to the bar ourselves. In short: the good food is no good to me if the rest of the food just isn't up to scratch.

Unfortunately the quality at Il Gusto has deteriorated greatly. Apparently they are resting on their initial success and bragging about visits from FCB players. The tables are no longer wiped, they use inferior salami and ham for the pizza. Even with meat dishes you notice that it is cheap meat. It's a shame, we used to really like this restaurant!

The restaurant that we spontaneously decided on before driving home to Nattheim from the nearby horse clinic is an absolute hit 🙌🏻 The guest room is very cozy and a successful mix of tradition and modern charm. The selection of dishes is pleasantly manageable (I love that, who needs 16 different types of pasta) and definitely offers something tasty for everyone to suit their personal taste. The dishes we ordered (Piccata Lombarda and tagliatelle from the Parmesan wheel with black truffle) were excellently prepared and simply tasty... great 🍻 Service polite, courteous and always present in the guest room. That's how I like it. The whole thing combined with absolutely fair prices and typical Italian hospitality, what more could you want 🥳
