IL Gusto Ristorante Pizzeria in München

Unfortunately the quality at Il Gusto has deteriorated greatly. Apparently they are resting on their initial success and bragging about visits from FCB players. The tables are no longer wiped, they use inferior salami and ham for the pizza. Even with meat dishes you notice that it is cheap meat. It's a shame, we used to really like this restaurant!

We were there for lunch, nice little restaurant with very nice service. I had the lunch menu with a small salad. (Changes daily) Highly recommended! Very tasty salmon noodles! Good portion and bread was also served.

Nice Italian restaurant with a terrace. The service team is very nice and friendly and the food is good.

First the boss talked us into an additional dish, then Spaghetti Aglio e Olio was almost garlicless and boring, and he didn't dare come to our table anymore. The limoncrllo was lukewarm.

The food and service are at a very high level. I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The restaurant that we spontaneously decided on before driving home to Nattheim from the nearby horse clinic is an absolute hit 🙌🏻 The guest room is very cozy and a successful mix of tradition and modern charm. The selection of dishes is pleasantly manageable (I love that, who needs 16 different types of pasta) and definitely offers something tasty for everyone to suit their personal taste. The dishes we ordered (Piccata Lombarda and tagliatelle from the Parmesan wheel with black truffle) were excellently prepared and simply tasty... great 🍻 Service polite, courteous and always present in the guest room. That's how I like it. The whole thing combined with absolutely fair prices and typical Italian hospitality, what more could you want 🥳

One of the first guests there but still waited almost an hour for the food (after our reminder). We were not offered any reason for the long delay. Meanwhile, several tables who came after us finished their food. The food was objectively okay and the ambience was fine (hence the two stars). But considering the price and the quality of the food, I just cannot recommend this place. There are better Italian restaurants nearby who care more about their food and service.

We spent a wonderful New Year's Eve yesterday. The menu was outstanding. Every dish tasted very, very good and was well prepared. We were thrilled 🤩 Highly recommended. Very friendly staff.

The lasagna came a little late, but was ok in consideration of the time spent in the oven.

This restaurant opened in mid-March, with a reasonable price/performance ratio. Now, just 7 months later, the prices are 20% higher - portions of the daily specials have become smaller, wine prices and water are too expensive!! It's not possible. So: no longer worth a visit Had dinner and lunch twice again in December 2024. It's ok in the evening, but bad at lunchtime: Food comes to the table unseasoned and tasteless, quality is underwhelming. Apparently a better chef cooks in the evenings.

I've been there several times with friends or family - I mainly ate pizza because I find it very tasty (far better than L'osteria!!!!) - on the last visit there was a lot of pizza left over - which we took home with us wanted to take - it was then packed in 3km of aluminum foil and simply slammed on the table - at home everything looked extremely unappetizing when stacked on top of each other - you would only take 1 piece home with you, then I understand the foil, but more than half of the pizza... there should already be a box in it- If you order pizza to take away there is also a box - so now we're looking for something new in the area -

Good Italian food restaurant in Munich The attention they gave us was quite good even when the restaurant was full. The food was excellent and we loved it. I ordered a salmon rice and since they didn't have any rice left they offered me taglietelle and it was excellent. The only thing that would improve is that the tables are very close together.

The food is very delicious. The service is excellent. The waiter's recommendations are always the best.

Was only there for a drink. The service didn't feel like clearing the previous guests' glasses from my table. That was weak 👎

Spontaneously came by as a couple, our first visit was very full but we still only managed to get a table Pizza was ok, would have needed another minute in the oven, spaghetti amatriciana was ok, delicious bruschetta as a starter, carpaccio was with more taste Starters came quickly, pizza/pasta took a really long time. Prices are OK Conclusion We'll take a look again, but there's still room for improvement in all areas.

Very lovely restaurant. We both really enjoyed our food, was very tasty and made with fresh ingrediënts. There were quite some people smoking around at the terras, also staff. This was the only thing we would have liked to see different.

It’s our second time here, everything is as amazing as always! We can highly recommend their pasta dishes! The service is also very friendly. We’ll for sure come back again and again!

There wasn't an Italian among the staff and I doubt that the owner was either... To the question, do you have a wood-fired oven... Quick answer, yes there is! Once inside we realize that they didn't have it. In fact the pizza was made in a pan, probably in an electric oven! But despite that it wasn't bad!

I ordered 3 pizzas to pick up on Sunday. When I came to pick it up after 20 minutes, a guest came in from outside with 3 pizzas - he had taken the wrong pizzas and only realized it when he got home - that was my order and they handed me the 3 boxes without comment, without an apology ( Original sound: --"that can happen sometimes...") and without even asking if it's OK. After all, the pizzas were already in someone else's hands and I protested vehemently... unfortunately the pizzas were already cold, but they tasted very good. However, I will refrain from ordering/visiting Il Gusto again in the future because this reaction is unacceptable to me.

Very good cuisine and attentive and friendly service

We had dinner at IL Gusto. The food was very tasty. We ordered 1/2 liter of HOUSE WINE to drink. Nothing special, but ok so far. The bill came and the HOUSE WINE cost €18.90!!! We are happy to pay the price for a good wine and have no problems with it. But for such “fusel” 18.90€ that’s a touch too much. When we asked the waiter about it, we got a somewhat mushy answer like wine is expensive and is getting even more expensive. Very unsatisfactory. When we spoke to friends and acquaintances, everyone threw their hands up and we were unanimous in our opinion that something like that wasn't possible. Bad expensive wine and a really inappropriate reaction from the staff to our criticism. Nobody needs it. It's a shame ☹️

Super delicious pizza's was completely satisfied

I recently reserved a table for 6 at Gusto Ristorante Pizzeria and was overall happy with my visit. The atmosphere was good and the food was okay. Unfortunately, the service was disappointingly slow and the order took an hour before the food finally arrived at the table. This spoiled our stay a bit and therefore I can only give an average rating. I hope that in the future the restaurant will work on the speed of service to improve the overall experience.

Service is very nice. I think we were there at a bad time. Pizza tastes quite good, but not how I imagined it. Furnishings are a bit outdated. That Italian or modern flair is missing. In general I can recommend it to everyone.

The ambiance of the restaurant is so warm and friendly, both indoor and outdoor. We ordered an off menu item by the recommendation of our server, who also happens to be one of the owners. Him and his brother, who is the chef, are running a family business. The mixed fish plate with vegetables, carbonara and seafood linguine in bread bowls were amazing! Ingredients were fresh and the seafood was cooked very well. Recommended to try this if you are in the area. We walked far to try this place and it was 100% worth it.

Price/performance ratio is right It's worth a visit

We were there for a birthday party. The food was tasty, even if not outstanding. The location is beautiful. The service was strange. We booked a place for 9 people inside. Due to the nice weather we were offered a place outside, which we gladly accepted. The waiter was friendly, but only set half of the table and said we could distribute the remaining cutlery among ourselves. Not a problem per se. But the combination of this with the subsequent ignorance increased the poor service. The food came on time. But after clearing away the main course, we were ignored by the waiters after repeated requests for further orders. After waiting 30 minutes, we wanted to order and told the waitresses again several times. But this time too we were just politely held back. The waiter responsible for us served all the tables outside and first smoked with his colleagues until he came after about 20 minutes of waiting and collected the bill and made us wait another 10 minutes to serve other tables. We then decided to go in and paid directly at the entrance. One of my friends, after paying a 10% tip, asked for more "just for fun". While other guests got nightcaps on the house and birthday extras, our birthday guest was left out and our table was skillfully ignored while shopping. If this was due to the size of the group or was provoked by us in some way (perhaps we didn't seem rich enough?), a note from the waitress would be appropriate. The service was proven to be good for other tables, but was more than disappointing for us.

There were four of us for lunch and everyone thought the food was great.

In Munich on business and found this fabulous Italian restaurant. Incredible authentic Italian food, staff so friendly, service excellent. You will not be disappointed. Very reasonable prices. We came back twice it was so good!

I love the food there and you fill up very well and the service is really nice and you are served quickly.

Unfortunately, 1 star deducted because the panels are so loud/not very acoustic that you can hardly understand your own words when it's busy. The food is tasty and generous in size.

We stayed in a nearby hotel for transit to Austria. Came here by chance to eat. Food exceeded our expectations. Pizza was very good, pasta too. Homemade desserts were great. Staff also very friendly.

Toller Service - der Kellner verdient eine Auszeichnung! Super freundlich, zuvorkommend und einfach sympathisch. Das Essen war auch sehr gut. Das Lob konnten wir dem Koch persönlich ausrichten, weil er sich nicht nur hinten in der Küche "versteckt" ;) Vielen Dank!

Service erstklassig und sympatisch. Würden schon an der Türe nett empfangen. Keine lange Wartezeit auf Essen und Trinken. Wir hatten 2x Pasta. Beide Gerichte wirklich erstklassig. Sonst schreibe ich selten Bewertungen aber dieser Gaumenschmaus hat mich dazu motiviert. Restaurant hat es in meine Favoritenliste geschafft.

Meine Frau und ich kämen an, wollen am Parkplatz vor dem Lokal auf unseren Sohn warten. Da würden wir freundlich ins lokale gebeten.um dort zu warten. Zu meinem Erstaunen gab es Cynar nicht nur Campari Soda. Montepulciano war lecker. Essen bei uns allen incl. Enkel seht gut. Einzig die Spagetti Alio & Olio hätten etwas pikanter sein dürfen monierte mein einer Enkel. Das war aber kein echtes Problem. Wir waren zum ersten Mal da, weil unser Sohn in der Nähe wohnt. Wir kommen wieder. Auch nicht alltäglich mit Handschlag verabschiedet zu werden. Alles irgendwie sympathisch.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant, wo man sehr gutes Essen kriegt. Diese Ambiente ist sehr schön, man fühlt sich wohl.

Quick stop tonight for dinner that was close to our hotel. I had a Margarita Pizza which was quite good. Crust was a bit flat, but good flavor and the sauce was wonderful. For some reason there was no basil on it, 🤷 but maybe that's not a thing over her? We had some tiramisu for dessert and it was outstanding. It's not my typical dessert, but our server highly recommended it and it was very good!! Give this place a try if you're in the area. Thanks!

Das Essen im "IL Gusto" kann man als durchaus gut bezeichnen. Der Service, freundlich sowie aufmerksam. Zu Stoßzeiten sollte man ein wenig Zeit mitbringen. Der untere Bereich des Restaurants, ist dem oberen vorzuziehen. Gerne wieder!

Solider Italiener mit ordentlichen Standardgerichten. Wenn der Laden abends voll ist, ist die Küche etwas überfordert. Die Gerichte von 6 Personen kamen zeitlich alle unterschiedlich an. Tagsüber wenn weniger los ist haben die alles gut im Griff. Daher ein Stern Abzug. Ansonsten auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Habe eine Pizza und ein Tiramisu gegessen und grandios. Nicht nur der Geschmack hat durch und durch überzeugt, sondern auch die nette Bedienung. Absolut zu empfehlen. TOP :)

Das Essen sowie Preis-Leistung sind hervorragend! Der gute Service ist aber unbezahlbar! Der Wirt ist sehr zuvorkommend und geht auf die Wünsche aller Gäste ein. Auch das gemütliche Ambiente sowie die schöne italienische Musik beim Essen gefallen uns sehr! Es ist einfach heimelig! Parkplätze sind direkt vor dem Lokal vorhanden. Wir empfehlen das Restaurant „Il Gusto“ gerne weiter.
