A voucher book led us to this wonderful restaurant. What a magnificent discovery. The ambience itself is elegant and inviting without seeming excessive. Given the open friendliness of the employees, you immediately feel welcome as if you were with friends. This hospitable and warm atmosphere makes you immediately relax and feel good. The quality of the food and drinks is in no way inferior. There aren't many Italian restaurants that deliver on this level. Of course, this has its price, but in the Vetro Vero it is absolutely fair given the high quality on all levels. Grace!!!

The ambience and location are a smooth 10/10! Beautifully, stylishly furnished and very cozy, perfect for a romantic evening or an evening with friends. The food tasted very good, but was quite expensive for the small portion and unspectacularly prepared. Unfortunately the service really spoiled the evening. Our waiter was unfriendly, uncommunicative and seemed annoyed and bored. What was particularly annoying was that we were pressured to eat our starter more quickly because the kitchen would be closing soon and the waiter still had to order our main course. Absolutely inappropriate in an upscale restaurant. It's a shame, because the location had potential for an all-round perfect evening!

A true taste experience! The truffle pasta with burrata at Vetro Vero was simply sensational. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the truffle flavors were wonderfully intense but not overwhelming, and the creamy burrata rounded off the dish harmoniously. Every bite was pure indulgence – a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. Added to this was the attentive service and the stylish ambience of the restaurant, which made the evening even more special. An absolute must for truffle lovers and gourmets! I'll definitely come back.

I've never had such a small portion of pasta in a restaurant. For around 30 euros I expect more than 2 ribbon noodles and 2 small pieces of beef fillet. I'm not even close to being full yet. The pasta was averagely good, but definitely not recommended due to the portion size. Completely overpriced!

Great food and wonderful atmosphere for sizzling polar bear meetings. Service sometimes lags behind the price level of the menu. But you still feel warmly cared for; especially in summer outside between the beautiful hydrangeas.

Visited because of the many good reviews. Only later did we realize that reviews were created periodically. Ultimately it's all a matter of taste; But we didn't like it. There are so many authentic ristorantes in Frankfurt that offer high-quality Italian cuisine at much more moderate prices. But they obviously invest more in their kitchen than in internet agencies and press contacts.

Unfortunately our visit to Vetro Vero was not what we had hoped. I ordered the pasta with Gamberi, but it didn't taste good at all - the sauce was far too sour. My companion left the entire plate because the taste was really disappointing. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't respond or ask if something was wrong, even though it was obvious that the food hadn't been touched. We definitely expected more for a restaurant with such good reviews. It's a shame it wasn't addressed - it leaves a bad impression.

Exalent food and good ambition the service was franidly

Simply a great evening! The ambience in Vero Vetro is simply breathtaking - upscale furnishings, stylish decoration, simply a wonderful flair. The prices are high, but the food is worth every penny! We had tortellini and pappardelle with beef tips - both dishes were simply outstanding and full of flavor. The starter, a wild herb salad with perfect vinaigrette and aromatic mushrooms, was the ideal start to an all-round successful evening. The service was equally excellent, attentive and friendly, just as you would expect in this price range. Conclusion: an all-round fantastic experience that I can recommend to everyone!

We were really excited to go there… The ambience is very nice and perfect for any kind of dinner date, it is very modern and elegantly decorated. However, it remained a mystery to us how the service could be so bad and so careless, truly unbelievable. We had to wait forever for everything, from ordering drinks to food, the service was unfortunately catastrophic. We were brought the wrong food and discussed with us that it was our mistake that one of the waiters gave us a veal chop instead of a rack of lamb. There were three of us and one of us actually had to wait 45 minutes for her food; we were charged for the bruschetta that was brought to her as a supposed apology. I would like to emphasize at this point that the capacity utilization in the restaurant was very manageable and it could not be justified by the fact that the waiters were working incorrectly due to overwork. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all because the service could have upgraded the whole thing. The food is not bad but unfortunately not exceptional either. To sum it up: Unfortunately, we were disappointed and didn't leave there with a good feeling, which is a real shame.

The ambience was fantastic, the waiters were very accommodating and friendly. We had the truffle pasta and as starters burrata with tomatoes and the beef cappachio with truffle. The food came very quickly and was very excellent! In general it was a very nice evening that we had. Which is why it gets 5 stars from us. Gladly again!!!

Expensive and bad food: Olive paste as a greeting from the kitchen, just sour, with white bread cut into cubes!??? Horrible As a main course, prawns on vegetables for 38 euros!!!! Served unpeeled on 80 percent pepper vegetables. I had to ask the waiter that the shrimp be served at least partially peeled. Unusual for a supposedly dignified restaurant. 1 glass of wine 0.1 12 euros!!! A total of 2 people paid 120 euros for bad food. Absolutely not recommended.

The restaurant is located on a very calm street in a nice part of Frankfurt. Food is great, on the pricey side, but definitely give the opportunity to try something different from just a well prepared dish. Service is friendly and helpful.

Good food and trinks, unfortunately 3 out of the 5 items we initially ordered were out of stock, and our pasta took (literally) an hour and a half to arrive.

Had dinner. Appetizer, Pulposalad: poorly fried, no flavour. Balsamic vinaigrette was too sweet. Main course: noodles with Truffles and burrata-sauce: great flavour (not hard). Noodles not fully cooked, stuck together. I recommend to take proper amount of water to boil the noodles and stir occasionally! Dessert: cheese cake with fruit sauce: terrible! Frozen industrial ware. We had to send it back. Got a microwaved version back, warm in some places, almost frozen in others. The entire time the young waitress, inappropriately dressed, didn't radiate the least bit of hospitality or ambition.

This is a restaurant that asks Google to remove reviews it doesn't like on the spurious grounds of "defamation"; moreover the appeal process to appeal to have the review reinstated doesn't work. My wife's original review contained some factual complaints and an opinion about the quality of the wine. Facts: The restaurant was full, the staff had too much to do. It took over over an hour for the first course to arrive; they only had one bottle of Berlucchi; the main course was served at different times so many of us had finished before the last member of the party had received his. Many food options were already sold out. The music was so loud that it was pointless to even try to understand the person sitting opposite me. Opinion: the wine list, apart from a couple of excellent and expensive wines, could have been better and was disappointing. In what world could this be construed as defamation? Restaurateurs should not rely on Google to remove (even marginally) critical reviews, as this calls into question the balance of the remaining reviews about this place.

Nice location with well-chosen dishes. Price-performance ok. Unfortunately service was extremely bad. Orders were only accepted in parts or upon repeated inquiries, and drinks and bread were only brought upon request.

The restaurant is on a side street. You can sit outside. We sat in the beautiful restaurant. Starter, main course and dessert came to our table quickly. We’ve been here a handful of times over the last year and a half. Super mixed experience. Service all over the place; our last visit we never got bread, water (that we ordered) and no one checked in at any point even though we had 3 different servers. Food is pretty good but expensive.

Three years ago, under different management, this was a real insider tip. My last visit a few days ago was a nightmare. The two of us waited 1 1/2 hours for the starter. I had to point out drinks several times. That would be disappointing enough if I hadn't woken up at 4am with food poisoning. Based on the reviews, this is probably not an isolated case.

Six of us dined there at the beginning of March and the restaurant, which has a really nice atmosphere, was packed. Was it because we had to wait over an hour for the starters? The charming staff were lovely but overwhelmed. During the long wait we drank a wonderful bottle of Berlucchi and would have liked to order another, but the cellar no longer had it - there were simply none left. In my opinion, the loveless wine list of the Vetro Vero restaurant - A good glass - does not live up to the name and could certainly be improved. Sadly, apart from a few famous (expensive) "Super Tuscans", there are no wines worthy of praise. That's very disappointing! Now about the cuisine: the starters were good, especially the parmigiana. Unfortunately, the main courses were not served together and the selection was limited as many were already sold out. Overall, the food was good, but not so convincing that we would definitely come back.

Eat: - For starters I had truffle burrata pasta which was dry and tasted like nothing. Supposedly the few thin slices of truffle on top were supposed to add flavor to the whole dish. I found a small piece of burrata in the noodles. After I asked where the burrata was, I was told it was melted into the sauce... - For the main course I got three tuna medallions, half a mini potato and two overcooked broccoli florets. The fish was dry and, like the pasta, tasted of nothing, but the portion was OK. The potato was very tasty, but it was a shame that I didn't even have a whole piece of it... Service: - After the starter came, the service staff noticed that the bread was missing. The waitress said she would bring it "right away". Unfortunately I didn't get any bread until the end of my visit... - I had to wait over an hour for the main course. - Not once did the service staff come to ask for drinks etc. The atmosphere: - The restaurant is nice but very noisy. Conclusion: The restaurant is a disaster, from the food to the atmosphere to the service. Don't be fooled by the good Google reviews, as unfortunately they don't reflect my last visit at all. The restaurant charges prices of a fine dining restaurant that offers a proper dining experience despite not even serving average food. Overall, a total flop with a miserable price-performance ratio that I can't recommend to anyone. The restaurant just ruined our evening and didn't even fill us up…

The evening began with Polpo on chickpea puree, a delight with good ingredients and perfect preparation, which I think is an art when it comes to squid. A sour Aperol rounded off the whole meal. Then came the pasta with beef salsiccia, a taste experience and finally the flambéed prawns which rounded off the evening. You can taste the good ingredients. I'd be happy to wait a little longer for that. Waiter Angelo was there to give us advice, even though it was really full. With him you can feel the good training and love for the job. We will be back!!!! The only criticism: it was a bit tight.

Cosy location, amazing staff, delicious food and amazing drinks. Was there last weekend and had the best time. The truffle pasta is worth the hype and the drinks are out of this world, thank you to the bar tender. Our waiter fernando was also nothing short of amazing and the manager did a good job of constantly checking in as well. Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend this place to others

More appearance than reality. The prices are high, the food and service are not. The location is nice, but with the just average food and the unprofessional service, it just seems intentional and not skillful. We had pasta. The pasta, which was supposedly filled with beef fillet tips, seasonal mushrooms and fresh herbs, consisted of well-done beef in tomato sauce with a few mushrooms.

My wife and I had dinner at the restaurant last Saturday. The service was very bad. We were also seated at a table (we had reserved in advance) that was behind a pillar (away from the action). We were served accordingly. The “corner” was so narrow that a table and two chairs could only fit in it. The food was good.

I visited here twice and both were very pleasant experience. This little cozy restaurant in the quiet neighborhood is somewhere I want to go to celebrate something with friends or for a date night. Food was all great, staffs are super friendly. Definitely going to come back.

Not bad cuisine at all, but is it justifiably good? Modern dark design. Why is there a default 10 percent tip on the card machine? Why don't they give you a receipt? There's a draught, good food in a cold room is not an enjoyable dinner. The pricing might work for Paris or London. Staff is pretty good and friendly, though.

Schönes Ambiente, freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, feines Essen und entsprechend hohe Preise. Wir hatten Antipasti und pasta und bekamen als Vorspeise eine leckere Olivenpaste. Wir saßen an dem schönen Tisch direkt am Fenster, ein sehr besonderer Ort. Wir hatten die Burrata und Aubergine als Vorspeise, beides war lecker und Preise waren angemessen. Zum Hauptgang hatten wir die Pasta mit Aubergine, was geschmacklich ganz ok war aber nichts besonderes. Ausserdem hatten wir die Trüffelpasta, die uns von der Tageskarze empfohlen wurde. Leider war diese nicht im Restaurant ersichtlichtlich und es stellte sich heraus, dass sie unglaubliche 31€ kostet. Dieser Preis ist schon sehr hoch! Leider mussten wir auch etwas länger auf die Rechnung warten. Insgesamt aber ein schöner Abend.

Sehr schöne Location, drinnen und draußen. Allerdings kann ich die hohen Preise überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen vor allem in Bezug auf die Qualität der Gerichte. Die Burrata hatte nichts mit Burrata zu tun, war eher ein kleines hartes Mozzarella Bällchen. Eine Trüffelpasta für 30€, die aus Nudeln in purer Sahnesoße mit Trüffelscheiben besteht und ich 5 mal nachwürzen musste, ist einfach zu übertrieben. Dazu Aperol für 10€, da sind die Drinks in München sogar günstiger. Leider keine Empfehlung.

Gutes Essen aber wirklich nichts besonderes. Wir hatten kein Glück und eine Krankheit im Service hat alles extrem verzögert. Die restlichen Mitarbeiter haben alles gegeben um das Fehlen zu kompensieren. Ich würde auch bei besser Besetzung nicht nochmal hingehen Frankfurt bietet einfach mehr. Preis Leistung ist es aber wirklich gut.

Toller Italiener im Westend. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und zu unserem Tisch im Außenbereich begleitet. Das Wasser kam wie üblich prompt, zusammen mit der Speise- und Weinkarte. Der Kellner gab uns noch die Tagesempfehlung mit und wir machten uns auch direkt an die Arbeit, da wir sehr hungrig waren. Die Karte war sehr übersichtlich, was hilfreich war. Wir wählten unsere Speisen und einen Weißwein dazu. Der Wein kam und etwas später auch die Vorspeise zusammen mit dem Hausbrot und einem Olivenaufstrich. Das Essen war von der Vorspeise bis zum Hauptgang ein Traum. Leider teilte uns die Geschäftsführerin an dem Abend mit, dass sie das Restaurant verlassen werde und auch einige Mitarbeiter hätten sich bereits was neues gesucht. Schade, war ein Klasse Restaurant mit einem tollen Konzept und einem tollen Team.

Excellent, so kann man es als erstes Beschreiben. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, die Wein Empfehlung wurde gut beschrieben wie das Resultat. Das Essen war eine Tagesempfehlung, welches hervorragend arrangiert wurde. Der Geschmack grandios und dazu noch eine ordentliche Portion, zu meiner persönlichen Freude. Man bemerkt den Originalen Italienischen Flair von Nord Italien bis in den tiefen Süden auf den Insel von Italien. Die Preise sind an das Westend angepasst für mich persönlich mittlerweile bei allen Gastronomen in der Frankfurter Szene übertrieben hoch. Trotzdem muss man die doch gut besuchten Restaurants bewundern, gut die Geschäftskunden werden einen Großteil ausmachen und davon lebt der Gastronom nun mal. Ein wider Besuch ist auf der Agenda.

Came to this restaurant for the second time within 3 years because we hoped the staff had maybe changed and would be more welcoming and friendly this time. Unfortunately we were badly disappointed. Same as the first time we came to Vetro Vero because it is one of the 12 restaurants participating in the TasteTwelve Book which you can buy and then get one of two main courses on the house in the 12 participating restaurants in Frankfurt. We mentioned this already when booking the table but that didn’t change the lady’s (presumably the owner) attitude when we arrived. From the start she was unfriendly, arrogant and showed us we weren’t welcome. The absolute high point was when she commented that we obviously ordered the most expensive food on purpose to make the most of the book. Firstly - we ordered things from the menu of the day which were listed to us verbally without prices. And secondly - even if we did, that’s our good right!! If you don’t want guests coming with the TasteTwelve Book then DONT PARTICIPATE!!! How dare you give guests the feeling that they are second class and look down on them like that? And on a side note - we ordered multiple drinks, starters and dessert - which is all overpriced (e.g. Aperol Spritz 10€ and we were 4 people and had 8 of them plus wine etc.) so it wasn’t as if they weren’t earning a lot of money with us anyway (bill was 260€ in total with the two main courses already deducted). Giving 2 stars instead of just 1 because the food is okay, though also not what it should be considering the price. And our truffle pasta had only a fractional amount of truffle compared to some of the pictures I’ve seen here - I guess also thanks to coming with TasteTwelve. To top it all off I’m the end we had 3 main courses on our bill instead of 2 so we had to ask the lady to take that off and she told us to “just subtract it ourself and whatever”. Thanks for nothing! We are certainly not giving this restaurant a 3rd chance and will also drop TasteTwelve a note whether this is what they want for their restaurant recommendations.
