The carpaccio is okay, but we only tried the mussels, which were better than at Il Romano. Dessert was a chocolate-flavored pistachios, which was OK but not warm. We'll be back soon and write something about it.

We've been eating here regularly since the beginning of 2024, so we have a great new "regular Italian restaurant." We like the place so much that we celebrated our wedding here (that alone should speak for itself). The owners are simply fantastic... absolutely amazing people. Great, friendly, and courteous staff, no waiting times (well organized and always enough staff on hand). We've tried almost every dish and haven't had a single disappointment... first-class cuisine. Always busy, so it's best to make a reservation :-)! We thank Il Carpaccio and look forward to many more evenings with you!

We were there on a Sunday evening, and the restaurant was busy. I usually use the restroom before ordering food; I should have done that here too; then I would have looked for a different Italian restaurant. Instead of toilet paper, there was a thick, unperforated kitchen roll. Tearing it off was difficult, and the roll looked the part. When asked about it, the waiter said he knew they'd run out, which was why he'd put the rolls out. Restocks wouldn't arrive until Monday. An apology? None. The quality of the food was average. The draft beer was lukewarm. The waiter responded with an arrogant shrug; yes, the draft is new and therefore unchilled. No apology here either. It left a bitter aftertaste; it needn't be repeated.

Absolutely outstanding service, very attentive but not intrusive, with a touch of humor. The food was outstanding, the dessert sensational. The value for money was very good. I had the Italian starter. It had everything you could want: carpaccio, vitello tonnato, Parma ham, grilled vegetables, very varied and fresh.

I prefer going there in the summer rather than the winter. It's quite noisy inside. The pizza and pasta are great. For me, it's one of the best Italian restaurants around.

Seven of us were given a lovely outdoor seating area under a roof. Excellent service, and the food was delicious. Whether it was pizza, rump steak, tuna steak, salads, or dessert, the quality was excellent. We'd love to come back as a group.

We were last there in 2023/24, and it was delicious and tasty. Yesterday, all three of our pizzas weren't great: the dough wasn't as good as usual, had a bad taste, the dough was lumpy inside, and the tomato sauce was like from a discount store—that's it for now. When I asked the waiter if anything had changed, the answer I got was... No, it's been the same pizza maker for years. I can't believe it. I won't be going there again anytime soon. Updated: September 4, 2025... Why should we come again if none of us liked the pizza?? Something has changed somewhere...

Spaghetti Carbonara was very dry and tasteless, pizzas are not good either, Bolognaise comes with s lot of cream.

Always delicious, always happy to come back. Celebrated yesterday with 14 people, and recently with 30 guests. Everything went smoothly, everyone loved the food. Great food, great team.

We had ordered a table for over 10 people. The place was full that day, so it took a while for anyone to notice us. The food was nothing special, and I've even had much better pizza elsewhere. There's no reason why I should go back, and the predominantly senior customers probably like the very briefly cooked vegetables.

A typical Italian restaurant with an outdoor veranda. Good food at reasonable prices. If the lettuce stalk hadn't spoiled the good impression, the meal would have been perfect.

New review. We tried it again and were not disappointed. The terrace has been renovated since our last visit. It now looks beautiful and very inviting. The server was courteous and friendly, and the food was delicious 😋. Therefore, full stars now, and we will definitely go back.

The decor couldn't be more authentic! This restaurant is one of the most authentic Italian restaurants in all of Germany. The friendliness is sensational! The food is always consistently high quality. It's always clean! The restrooms are clean. The dishes are of very high quality! Very Sicilian, like an ideal date in Palermo. The atmosphere is outstanding. The place is always packed in the evenings, and yet you can still understand each other wonderfully at the table. We went to Il Carpaccio spontaneously because it was nearby. Everything inside looks very classy, and we received a very friendly welcome and service. Personally, I felt the selection was too small; there weren't many pasta dishes but a relatively large amount of pizza. There was very little meat, and there was only one dish with chicken, for example. I know that speaks volumes about the quality, and I have to say, my pizza Parma was also very tasty. The lasagna looked good too; I quickly tried my cousin's beef pasta at the end, but it was already cold, so I couldn't really judge the taste. You can't complain about the price, so I would definitely recommend it.

The food here is fantastic. They focus on the seasons with seasonal dishes, and even expand on this with daily specials. All the waiters are very friendly, and even though it's packed, the service is very fast. This time we had swordfish carpaccio, homemade tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms and lamb fillet, spaghetti with prawns, and veal cutlet with fresh vegetables. For dessert, we had homemade tiramisu. The food was truly fantastic.

We've been going there for years. Since the management has changed, we love going there even more; the staff is very accommodating and fulfills our every wish. The food is very tasty. Price - performance is right. Highly recommended!!!

To be honest...it was better...

I ate there with my daughter. We ordered bruschetta for starters; they were tasty but not worth the €6.90. Now for the main course, my daughter ordered the Argentinian fillet steak with rosemary potato wedges and some vegetables. All in all, the side dishes were rather meager. For a hefty €33.90, the Gorgonzola sauce I ordered with it was far too much and, at around €4, a bit expensive. I had a pizza with a king prawn, shrimp, and garlic. The pizza also had very few toppings for €16.90. Also, the dough was far too thin in the middle, which made everything very watery and tasted bad. All in all, I thought our meal, with a simple starter for just one person, two main courses, a Gorgonzola sauce accompaniment, 2 x 0.5 l beers, and a 0.75 l bottle of seltzer, was much too expensive at €80. I won't eat there again, mainly because of the prices

Definitely a must try. The service was top notch, we were taken care of like family and greeted with kindness. If i could give 100 in service, that would make justice. The Grilled fish is a must try.

We were thrilled! Il Carpaccio is simply fantastic – the chef is super friendly and personally creates a pleasant atmosphere. The entire staff is incredibly warm and attentive. A place with a very family-friendly atmosphere. A small restaurant with parking for 8 to 10 cars. It was rated 5 stars by Restaurant GURU, and rightly so. Pizzas are 35cm in diameter.

Unfortunately, I can't continue the praises of the previous reviews. 5 scampi in white wine sauce for €28.50, a nicely proportioned dish, and almost impossible to find on the plate. This was served with a 1 cm thick slice of rubbery white bread, and the whole thing was topped off with a bottle of Prosecco Mara Oro (€6.90), for a whopping €42.50! We felt like we'd been ripped off as customers. Luckily, there are Italian restaurants in Tegel that practice hospitality and where you're in better hands.

Auch alles andere war wieder mal hervorragend.Ja ist nicht ganz billig,aber für Qualität und wirklich excellenten Service da ist es absolut angemessen.Ich habe schon mal über google bewertet vor ein paar Monaten, und es ist immer noch einfach mein Lieblingsitaliener,sorry Sizilianer😏Danke liebes Team vom Il Carpaccio

We were there for a birthday celebration. The service was friendly, quick, and attentive. My quite large pizza was really very good, great, thin dough, crispy on the outside. Topping fresh and juicy (tomatoes/mozzarella). The tiramisu that followed didn't blow me away (thawed?? a little watery inside!!)... The service was very friendly, cheerful and accommodating. The restaurant is attractively and invitingly designed. Price-performance ratio okay (only based on my dish). It's also very good to sit outside. I've eaten here many times and can definitely recommend it.

I've known the restaurant for 35 years, but haven't been there in the last ten years because it was getting a bit old. Now I was extremely positively surprised that everything has been modernized in the meantime. You sit nicely. The service is extremely friendly and you feel comfortable. It gets very crowded on public holidays, so I recommend making a reservation. Both I and my companion enjoyed the spaghetti. We ordered Spaghetti Aglio Olio and Spaghetti Buon Gusto (with beef), wine and water. Bread and olives are included. Overall, a bit expensive, but very delicious, skillfully prepared, a very stylish decoration, the extras mentioned and easily accessible by public transport. Very good professional service. We were recommended a suitable wine and were served quickly and unobtrusively. At the end there was Ameretto on the house. One star for the ambience.

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant and all I can say is it was an absolutely perfect experience! The food was incredibly tasty and prepared to perfection - every dish, whether starter, main course or dessert, tasted fantastic. The three-course menu in particular was a real highlight! The service was also first class: extremely friendly, professional and always with a smile. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. The food was served wonderfully warm, so you could enjoy it to the fullest. In short: everything is just right here! A great restaurant where I felt completely at home. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back!

We haven't been here for a long time. The food is still very good. However, I regret to say that the service has deteriorated. Drinks were forgotten and incompletely served afterwards. In some cases this continued when the food was served.

I ate very tasty pasta made from a parmesan wheel with lots of cheese and truffles and crème brulee for dessert. Plus a glass of wine and water. The service was great, attentive and very nice and friendly. I'd love to come back.
