I'm a craftsman and often go to ikea for breakfast, what's going on in Wuppertal at 10 a.m. the displays are empty no sausage no meat the rolls are stone hard ok then eggs and sausages everything cold well then coffee unfortunately no milk it takes an eternity for someone to come and now everything is cold. and that for 10 € you should be ashamed of yourself

The product label (both price and product description) is incomplete or completely missing. This also leads to irritation at the checkout, especially if the cashier is new. My wife and I made this realization independently today.

The second attempt was once again rewarded with bad food. We ended up in the Ikea market to buy candles, and of course, as always, it turned into something more. We also stopped by the restaurant. It was a real experience. When I wanted to order the salmon with rice I was told there was no more rice, only bulgur. Bulgur looks like rice but tastes completely different and, above all, is not rice. I was then offered a choice: warm peas or two balls of mashed potatoes or fries. I thought to myself, you can't go wrong, just take fries, you can also get mayo and ketchup for free here. When the lady removed the lid from the warming pot for the salmon, I knew it was like McDonald's. If the pictures speak a completely different language than the reality of the strips of skinless salmon that were kept warm there, about one and a half centimeters wide. Presto, it lands on my plate with a pile of fries and the food, which costs almost €10, is completely on the plate. At that moment I thought to myself that perhaps we should have known earlier, but in the photo directly above the serving point there was a thick piece of salmon with good-looking rice and vegetables. Since I was really hungry, I decided not to complain and took the plate on a tray to the checkout and later to one of the uncleaned white tables directly to the left of the checkout. To the right of me is a young family with screaming children, in between a cleaning lady with two buckets who cleans pretty much everything that comes her way but doesn't wipe the tables - well, mealtime. Anyone who thinks that should be enough now is far from the truth. It got even better, the fries were lukewarm and had apparently been exposed to the warm lamp for a long time, some were not crispy but hard, others were just lukewarm. I didn't find any mayonnaise either, just a snack sauce in the color beige. The salmon confronted me. also as a sad revelation of the system catering Ikea, lukewarm. Since the skin had been removed a long time ago, the thing looked pink but was fart-dry. I then quickly stuffed myself with a handful of fries because I was still hungry. Because it had died for me in pieces some time ago, I first chopped the salmon on a parmesan grater, no joke. I ate it as much as possible. Yes, I know what some people here are thinking, it's your own fault, you could have gone to the checkout to complain, preferably loudly. For my part, I say, that's an alternative but somehow not my thing, the woman at the checkout will soon be off work and can't do anything about it anyway, the girl at the counter is doing her student job at the Swedes and can't really do anything about it. The person who can actually do this is a restaurant manager or head chef at system gastronomy Svenska! You can't get him in such situations anyway. So the overall rating I write here is actually more important to me than annoying any employees. To end with the words everything used to be better, yes it was. There was a time when köttbullar were served hot. There was a time when the fries were fried and ended up on the plate hot enough and salted. There was a time when a strip of salmon was a strip of salmon that needed nothing to be ashamed of. A time when the slices of the almond cake were larger and the IKEA FAMILY members were still forced to have free coffee. All of this is now over, may the inventor of Ikea rest in peace. He wouldn't have wanted that! Thank you for your attention and you'd better eat at a chip shop on the way home.

So... I'll start off on a positive note. The plate of fries from one of my three sons ended up being the best choice. It's just a bit stupid that there's no mayonnaise. For the youngest there was pasta with tomato sauce...I really felt guilty and sorry when I saw this plate covered in watery sauce. The menu with the two chicken schnitzels was a joke to me when I saw what they were about to put on my plate. There were just two slightly larger nuggets. I then decided to do something else, but I was unlucky there too ;-) Peas in water and little meatballs which my dog ​​probably likes better. Next time, although I don't know if it's healthy...we'll go to McDonald's 😉

I was in your restaurant today with friends and wanted to eat Köttbular with puree and peas. Unfortunately, the peas were inedible, they looked very artificial and unfortunately that's how they tasted too.. Maybe you could offer an alternative vegetable option, which wouldn't be a bad idea since other guests also left the peas on their plate. Best regards

We ran out of fries, so we only had cake today. But it was very tasty.

The selection of main courses is not very large but sufficient and there is also something for vegetarians. Otherwise there are salads, desserts, cakes and sometimes waffles, as well as soft ice cream in two varieties (strawberry in summer and chocolate in autumn/winter). The staff is nice. Regarding the ambience, it has to be said that it is an open, large area, nice and bright, but not particularly cozy. But it doesn't bother us because we go to Ikea to shop, the restaurant is just a stopover. 😁

Everything is great, the only thing that dampened the experience was that the automatic coffee machine with oat milk was broken for about 2 weeks.

There is no alternative, for example cakes or other dishes sweetened with erythritol or stevia. At least reduced sugar. We really enjoy eating here when visiting Ikea. The food tastes very tasty and the price/performance ratio is really very good.

As an Ikea Family member (free), I drink hot drinks here for free, so I can e.g. Sit down as a representative, work on orders comfortably for hours on your laptop via WLAN, and enjoy one cup of coffee after the other. It will be the exception, but still. Then I went through the market hall where one or two bargains fell into my hands, or in the second life shop I saw what I always wanted, but was previously too expensive, at a great price.

Were here on Saturday morning. 10 O `clock. Endless people and hardly any staff to deal with it. The food was empty (especially the scrambled eggs, which everyone seemed to want). What is there is cold and rancid (in the picture it is “an omelette”!). No empty plates. A cash register. Drinks queued for ages again. And the price is steep for the sad selection. We lived through the myth of the IKEA breakfast and will definitely never have to experience it again.

After a long time, my wife and I went to Ikea Wuppertal again with the idea of ​​having a nice breakfast and then strolling through the store. I said to my wife at the beginning: “The restaurant is damn empty today!” When we took a serving trolley and two tablets, we were disappointed right from the start! A disposable plastic plate with 2 slices of cheese, 2 dollops of margarine or butter, 2 dark grapes and some greens. A cooling further on there was a serving platter with 10 or 15 slices of sausage on it, the first of which already looked brown and dry on the edge. We then passed a basket with a meager selection of rolls, where I only saw some with seeds and another variety with poppy seeds or sesame (I could define). I then looked around and was really disappointed at how minimalistic the selection was. The two stands in the middle of the restaurant, where you could otherwise put together a salt or get more butter or margarine, were on display and empty (unused). A staff member happened to be walking around near the warming plates by the scrambled eggs and I asked her: “Tell me, are you closing the place or why is there so little choice of food here?” “Why?” she asked me! “There’s everything!” and pointed towards the serving platter with the insane selection of sausages. The woman went back into the kitchen area and I saw her talking to two other colleagues and pointing in my direction. I was so incredibly disappointed and said to my wife: “We’re going somewhere else to have breakfast!” and added: “Now I know why the restaurant is so empty!!” An absolute no go for Ikea, sorry but that's not possible!!!!! My wife and I want to go to Ikea in Dortmund at some point, but I think I'll call the restaurant first and ask them if they're so disappointed with their breakfast buffet selection?! Only one star for the Wuppertal Ikea restaurant and in my opinion that is still too much!

Pluspunkt: Nachhaltig Toiletten mit Regenwasser, Stillzimmer mit Spielecke, Kinderwaschbecken, Wickeltisch außerhalb der Damentoilette, Schließfächer, Spielmöglichkeit im Bereich der Schrankplanung Verbesserungsbedarf: Ausverkaufte Produkte direkt in der Ausstellung markieren. Alles andere ist frustrierend.

Okay für einen Snack, aber noch nie mein Favorit.. nicht besonders gemütlich.. hat eben einen Kantinenstyle.. dennoch sauber und bisher immer freundlicher Service. Das Essen ist soweit auch okay, Preis-Leistung stimmt, deshalb herzliche ⭐⭐⭐ Sterne.

Ich hatte heute die Plantbullar. Leider waren sie kalt und die Erbsen als Beilage auch nur lauwarm. Die Erdbeeren als Nachtisch waren allerdings gut.

Im Ikea Restaurant gibt es viel Auswahl an Essen. Auch vegetarisch Speisen sind vorhanden. Das Essen sah aber immer frisch gekocht aus. Die Preise sind meines Erachtens normal angesetzt. Die Atmosphäre war auch nicht zu laut.

Bin begeistert von den ikea in Wuppertal Sonst fahren wir immer nach Dortmund..Leider ist da oft etwas nicht da. Und deswegen halt mal nach Wuppertal gefahren..Es war viel schöner gestaltet und ruhig war es auch..also überhaupt nicht so voll drinnen obwohl draußen der Parkplatz danach aussah. Der Weg ist der gleiche für mich...ab jetzt nur noch Wuppertal:-)

Der Salat bestand überwiegend aus Strunk und Deckblättern, die ich als Hausfrau aussortieren würde... aber das Caesar Dressing war lecker.
