Delicious food and good prices. You can also get a glass or cup for €1.95 and choose something to drink: tea, coffee, water, etc. The apple pie is fantastic. I can only recommend it.

A very disappointing visit. We were only sold a coffee cup, but upon inquiring, it turned out that no coffee was available at all, as the machine supposedly wouldn't be cleaned until Monday. In a restaurant, it should be a given that you can order coffee – especially if they sell cups. Unfortunately, this information only came up after we asked. This is certainly not what one expects from good service. We will not be returning.

The restaurant was clean, and thanks to its size, you could almost always find a seat. Unfortunately, you had to wait quite a while at the food counter because the staff had to attend to other tasks first. It looked like they were seriously understaffed... The food was good, but it was totally unfortunate that there wasn't a single cold drink available at the pump. A sign pointed this out, but hot chocolate with meatballs isn't your first choice.

You can't leave the restaurant directly. A complete no-go. The way to the exit is forced through the entire market hall. After you take the escalator up, you're trapped in the IKEA system. That can't be right!

The meatballs tasted like a ready-made meal you can get at a discount store for €2.95. They cost €8 there, though. The baguette was like rusk, and the pudding was like the 49-cent frozen puddings from the freezer section. The selection was also very limited... You could have gotten something better and more filling elsewhere for €18. And you don't have to walk 10km to get to the exit. They're really not worth the trouble anymore.

Eating here has now become an integral part of our IKEA visits. The food is very tasty and perfectly reasonable for the prices. The employees are mostly friendly, but in my opinion the service could be much more efficient. There are enough tables and they are cleaned regularly.

The food was so bad I have stomach cramps today! No flavor, overcooked pasta, inedible chicken schnitzel with pressed meat 🤢 Dessert tasted like medicine! Never again...!

We had meatballs with fries, everything cold. The sauce was terrible, just mush. The food was more like minus one star. The service at the counter was also very unfriendly, but the lady at the cash register was very friendly! Drinks: still water with a hint of cola. Coffee was okay. We were very annoyed, and that was also the last time. Restaurant not recommended.

Every single employee was unfriendly and unhelpful. Worst Ikea I've ever been to.

Unfortunately the food in Ikea is getting worse and worse, I wanted a portion of Plantbullar with Kapü and peas, unfortunately there were none and I opted for vegetable balls. Unfortunately, these were neither hot nor well-cooked. The Kapü tasted disgusting. Never eat hot dogs at Ikea again!

The children's pasta plate with tomato sauce ran out of tomato sauce. Instead they wanted to sell cream sauce. For the salmon fillet, the salmon had run out, but the side dishes would still be there. This on a Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

The chicken schnitzels were not very tasty this time. But the salmon, meatballs and sauce were perfect as always. The apple strudel was also good. In general, the food is always tasty, just not hot.

20 years of Ikea Mannheim advertising and being proud but not available in the Tagesgericht restaurant at 2:20 p.m. Class service.

Meal of the day: Chicken schnitzel with fries, cream sauce and salad. - Chicken schnitzel: the finest pressed meat, was at least a little seasoned. - Fries and cream sauce: unsalted / bland. - Salad to put together yourself: I didn't do it, it all looked very dried out and not really inviting. Plus a watery cranberry drink and a coffee that made my toenails curl despite the sugar; I had to leave it after two sips. All in all, it's a shame about the money.

I think breakfast used to be much better. Today everything is no longer so good. Brettzel with butter is not good. Eggs are cold, cheese is dry on the edge and the rolls are completely poorly baked. It's a shame

If you want to grab something quick to eat while strolling through IKEA, just go here. The food is now really of poor quality - commercial kitchen/convenience food. I find the range of drinks almost worse, all pure concentrates of colors and flavors. Even simple mineral water has a strange taste.

IKEA Mannheim Today I took Köttbullar with mashed potatoes. I had it years ago, you can eat it...I thought. Result: Mashed potatoes tasted like soggy cardboard, cream sauce looked like paste and tasted like...indefinable. You had to get the so-called cranberries from the drinks dispenser after the checkout area. After a few squirts, what was tapped had a bit of a similarity to cranberries, but the taste was far from that. At the beverage station, syrup is mixed with water unless it is unusual. But that was by far the worst quality. And to make matters worse, by the time you've gathered everything together and are sitting at the table...the food is finally cold. I gave the entire meal back and asked for my money...and got it. I've never come across anything so poor in quality. I don't think it's enough to stop eating there, just leave the food there and write a corresponding review in such cases. EVERYONE should take heart and bring the food back straight away and “ask for their money back”. Because: With so many negative reviews, they still sell too much! Sad, that was different! Savings are being made everywhere...but in the wrong places. Too bad IKEA

The food, chicken schnitzel, fries and salad is terribly bad, every snack bar is star class in comparison. I will never enter the restaurant at Ikea Mannheim again. Two portions with a cola cost €26, which was €20 too much for this quality. It's a shame, but it couldn't get any worse.

The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired a few months ago when we last had breakfast here there was a lot more choice... the meatloaf is over salted but has a good consistency for pensioners with weak teeth, the sausages taste labyrinth... there are only rolls 2 varieties unless you take a breakfast plate... the price-performance ratio is reasonably good.. that's fine if you're hungry quickly. Update from September 28, 2023 It has become a complete rip off. 50 cents for a slice of bacon and then they aren't even cooked through. My pregnant wife was so excited for it and couldn't even eat it after paying for it. The egg from the tetra pack also leaves a lot to be desired.. white sausages and roast sausages are totally cold and therefore no longer taste good.. what has happened to the poor gastro.. what a shame...

Also ich hatte das einzige vegetarische Gericht was heute angeboten wurde und muss sagen das ich dort schon mal schmackhafteres gegessen habe.Glaube gewürzt war es gar nicht. Jedenfalls nach 3 Bissen musste ich es leider stehen lassen . Dafür war die Dame an der Kasse sehr freundlich ☺️so schnell werde ich nicht mehr in dieses Ikearestaurant gehen

habe heute mal wieder das Restaurant besucht, hatte Köttbular mit Pommes……meine Frau Spargel und Hähnchenschnitzel. also liebe Freunde der Küche, die Pommes waren weich,also weit weit weg von der Bezeichnung Pommes….Köttbula waren wir immer o.k.,das Hähnchenschnitzel war trocken,fest,der Spargel fasrig und sehr schlecht geschält,das Kartoffelpüree war fest,papig,geschmackslos. dann alles für ü 20€ war leider keine gute Idee essen zu gehen. das ging also schon viel viel besser.

Ich liebe das Essen bei Ikea! Ich kann vor allem Köttbülar und Nudeln mit Tomatensauce empfehlen!

Schwedisches schnellrestaurant. Essen okay. Preiswert

Waren heute um kurz nach 10 Uhr zum Frühstücken. Frühstücken kann man bis 11 Uhr. Eine Katastrophe kein Rührei mehr kein Bacon und keine gekochten Eier. In der Küche standen sie rum und kümmerten sich nicht um die wartenden Kunden. Auf die Frage, ob es noch Rührei gibt, nein haben wir nicht mehr. So etwas darf doch nicht passieren. Im Übrigen sind die Angestellten in der Küche und ein paar Minuten später an der Kasse. Wo bleibt hier die Hygiene.

So geht Systemgastronomie... Nicht. Wartezeiten ohne Ende, die dazu führen das sogar frisch zubereitete Speisen bis zur Kasse nicht mal mehr lauwarm waren. Viele Tische sehr verdreckt, schlechte Luft, unangenehme Geräuschkulisse. Ich kannte bisher nur den IKEA in Heerlen, welcher mit Abstand bester ist.

Über die letzten dreizehn Jahre war ich hier unzählige Male Essen. Sei es mit Kollegen, Freunden, der Familie oder allein. Mal hat es besser, mal schlechter geschmeckt. Mein einziger Knackpunkt sind die Getränke, mit denen komme ich abgesehen vom Wasser net so klar. Aber an sich war ich doch immer wieder zufrieden. Meine Familie dagegen ist so richtig begeistert vom Restaurant. Ein Besuch hier ist immer Pflicht, da gibt's keine Ausnahmen 😅

Gutes Essen, Ikea halt. Dennoch würde ich mir neben den speziellen Ikea-Softdrinks auch herkömmliche wünschen, wie Coca Cola oder Pepsi und deren Softdrinks.

Wir besuchten gezielt das Restaurant um Gänsekeule mit Rotkraut und Knödel mit guter Bratensosse zu essen. Wir wurden wie jedes Jahr nicht enttäuscht. Top Lob an die Servicekräfte. Was Euch die Damen u.Herren in der Chefetage zumuten ist unmenschlich. Ihr schafft es mit sooooooo wenig Personal den Laden ( Restaurant) am Laufen zu halten und trotzdem Qualität mit einem Lächeln rüber zu bringen. Respekt. Ihr da oben!!! Schämt Euch!!! Das könnt ihr ja aber nicht. Ab in die Produktion.

Das Frühstück dass immer so angepriesen wird, finde ich keinen falls gut Ist man zu spät da, sprich um 10.00 Uhr gibt es viele Sachen wie z.B Rührei einfach nicht mehr und dann ist es summersumaro doch ein teures Frühstücken dort

Maybe it's only available where I come from, but what I missed in this IKEA restaurant are the iconic wings. For me, they taste a lot better than the meatballs. Would come here every month if they had them here.

Essen war tatsächlich gut, hatte die Köttbullar mit Pommes Frites. Leider hat es zu lange an der Kasse gedauert und eine zweite ließ auch auf sich warten, sodass mein Essen schon abgekühlt war.
