Went there, bought a mattress and left again... what a pity, I would have really liked to have strolled through it again, but unfortunately I didn't have the time.

Best store for buying furniture. My wife would love to live there.✌🏻

The restrooms and the service at the self-checkout were abysmal. The food in the restaurant was good, and the service there was also good. The store itself has a large selection, but several of the products we were looking for were sold out. The store was also very busy. Parking is free, and the selection appears to be tidy and clean.

Visited the restaurant. Very good service. Affordable and delicious. Nice atmosphere.

Big Ikea. Has lots of furniture to offer. You can almost find anything there.

As a wheelchair user, I always enjoy going to IKEA, it's largely barrier-free and if something isn't accessible, there's always a helpful person to help. The IKEA employees I have met so far are all very helpful and helped wherever they could. After the moving company lost many of the screws and feet of my shelves during my move, I have now ordered spare parts and am really looking forward to being able to rebuild my table and shelves.

Always good, food delicious. Sweet drinks downstairs are extremely sweet, but the food in the restaurant upstairs is delicious and inexpensive as always :)

Lots of things out of stock. Ate in the restaurant. Chicken with fried potatoes. Very bad. Some tables were not wiped down. Staff but very friendly and helpful.

We were passing through, so to speak, and took the opportunity to buy a few items that had been on the shopping list for a while. Easily accessible by car, plenty of parking options, even in the shade (in the underground car park), which not every IKEA store has to offer. We skipped the furniture exhibition, I can't write anything about that. After 2 p.m. on Saturdays there was only one line in the restaurant for hot food, but it moved along quite quickly. 2 cash registers occupied, hardly any waiting time. Everything clean and tidy. Market hall and furniture self-service are clear and tidy. The Second Chance Market (formerly Fundgrube) left a bit to be desired. There was hardly any furniture and even fewer "bargains", with the exception of pans in bulk that were about 20% off. (Made of carbon steel, those were really good ones.) For a Saturday at the beginning of the month there are hardly any queues at the checkouts. We had zero waiting time at the express checkouts. The first queue of the day was at the Swedish shop and bistro - but only at the digital ordering terminals. I ordered at the checkout where there was no one in front of me. However, I was apparently not understood on several occasions, neither received the correct products nor the receipt, which was crumpled up and thrown away. Well - it could have been a bad day, it was just after the lunch rush, I don't want to complain. In any case, both the plant-based hot dog and the vegetable version are endlessly delicious and I don't want to go back to the meat sausages from before. Try both - honestly! (I'm an omnivore, but I like to try new things and loved it). Conclusion: Nice visit to the furniture store with small drawbacks. But we would definitely make a detour here again if it was on the way.

In the last few weeks I've been to IKEA several times because I'm moving nearby - and I particularly noticed one employee in the restaurant: Max or Maximilian. This man does a fantastic job! It works incredibly quickly; sometimes it only takes seconds before the ordered food is served. He always remains friendly and greets every guest with a polite “What do you want?” His colleagues also seem to value him very much - they often talk to him when they have problems and he is always helpful. You can tell that he is a great support not only for the customers, but also for his team. The only “negative” (if you can call it that) is that he doesn't know the price of the products when you ask. Normally I only give negative reviews, but here it just has to be said: Top performance

Great exhibition, great products, huge selection, only the long queues at the checkouts are annoying... Update from April 5th, 2025 Now there are super express checkouts that you can scan yourself, it's super quick and you can also pay with vouchers. Great service...🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Best and easy to reach, lots of parking spaces. Ikea itself is just Ikea, like everywhere else

Average size of Ikea. There is no comparison to the facility in Wrocław in Pl. Unfortunately, little goods, little inspiration. It didn't blow me away.

What's good, among other things, is that if you have a dog 🐕 you can also stand in the parking deck

The positive: a typical IKEA store that you know everywhere. The negative: the escalator at the exit has been broken for months, so you always have to take the only way via the slow freight elevator, which sometimes takes forever (does that correspond to the safety regulations?). The coffee is terrible, and Ikea Family members now have to pay 50 cents for a shot of milk, which is anything but very friendly (like it used to be)...

Very friendly service. The ladies at the self-service checkouts deserve special mention. A second shopping cart was brought to us so that I and my daughter just had to re-stack everything so as not to get confused. We made a big purchase. There were enough parking spaces available and the specially equipped loading zone helped us a lot. The Ikea is easy to find despite the construction site on Messestrasse.

I don't know how others feel. I like Ikea, the wealth of solutions, a mixture of tried and tested and constant innovation. The VW among furniture stores 😉 And huge here in Hanover. Always a nice Saturday outing, even if it's just for coffee

Nice staff, big restaurant but the furniture, especially PAX, is often sold out.

Good for parking. Customer service was nice, but the 45 minute waiting time was simply too long, as people were repeatedly being processed without a waiting receipt.

Definitely recommended. With every visit.

Huge and good decoration and living examples

Item with low stock according to website was not available on shelf space. However, there was a complete pallet on the shelf directly above. Nobody to be seen far and wide, information not occupied. When asked at the checkout “no pallets are moved during the day” = you went there for free, wasted time, incurred costs. IKEA is worse than ANY hardware store; they always allow you to move pallets in the high-bay area.

There are no complaints when it comes to shopping, but there are a few comments when it comes to eating. On the one hand, there was no plate at the breakfast buffet with everything on it, sausage, cheese and jam, like before. And the finale is still a hot dog, but you couldn't eat it. The skin from the hot dog was so hard, sorry, that was nothing.

A beautiful furniture store with a delicious restaurant and, above all, always friendly and competent staff. Thank you very much for the super nice kitchen advice and that absolutely nothing is being talked into you here :). A kitchen without feet, without a worktop - no problem.

I like Ikea and the employees there are so friendly and funny that they just make you feel comfortable. Totally helpful even shortly before closing time, so that I was able to take the piece of furniture I wanted with me. Always an experience. I'd love to come back.

People can have different views on Ikea and the furniture design associated with it. Regardless, the Hanover branch is a typical furniture store of this chain with the well-known offers and services. There are always enough parking spaces available. There are also usually a satisfactory number of cash registers open so that you can pay for what you want quickly. The cafeteria is clean and brightly decorated. The service here is friendly and quick, as in the entire furniture store.

Shopping at Ikea is fine. But during peak hours in the restaurant, one or two more employees would be very helpful. Since the food is served lukewarm and at a snail's pace, it would be nice for the guest if a second cash register was opened at least during this time.

Customer service is really foreign here. Everything is supposed to be available according to the app, but then it's missing and the availability is stated incorrectly, but everything is available in the warehouse, but because I knew it, the employee got a slap in the face from the boss (who, by the way, was the only one who was really helpful, but you could tell that customer-oriented employees have a hard time there 😂). If you don't want to give it out, I'll ask for a subsequent delivery, but free delivery to your home the next day isn't possible either. The best thing I can do is rent a van again and come... and all this hassle for a Pax cupboard that costs €2,000. Really weak.

To ensure that you don't have to put the goods on the shelf first, but rather sell them directly from the warehouse, you also have to pay a €4.50 delivery fee.

Ikea Hannover Expo Park is well set up and sorted. The only thing that bothers me is that if you know what you want and just want to go to the furniture hall, you still have to go upstairs first. There you have to walk around the corner and from there take the stairs down. And then you have to walk through the entire market hall to get there. This could be regulated differently.

Ikea is always there once a month

I went shopping there with my girlfriend yesterday 🛍️ The staff is very friendly. Twice an item that was advertised as an offer was recorded at the checkout at the regular price... The food 🥘 wasn't good. The vegetable pan wasn't even lukewarm, but cold and soggy 😞 The yeast dumpling offered on the screen 📺 was no longer available on a Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. 😬 I like IKEA, but I wouldn't eat there anymore...

We were there for advice on buying a kitchen. The employee was very friendly and very professional. He took his time and gave us very good advice!

Everything went well, ordered online and picked up via click and collect. Update 2025-03-08 Today I deducted a star because I don't think it's good that paper-based receipts are still being printed.

Goods because of our niece, she's moving in April. We got everything, even if it came about through a compromise. As always, you can find something yourself. Kötbuller for lunch is of course mandatory.

When I visit this Ikea market is always clean, neatly organized and stocked. The employees are also friendly and attentive. I enjoy going there regularly.

The place is big and very beautiful

I have never been confronted with a furniture store that is so focused on sales and stocked with such an unappealing product range as Ikea is today. I have never experienced such a lifeless and loveless sales labyrinth as this furniture store. A ghost train made of prefabricated design with a limited selection of taste, predetermined paths that guide you through as many sales areas as possible before you get to your actual destination and then only offer a minimal selection... just plain creepy. Unfortunately, definitely never again!

Shopping there is actually fun, but the air on the 2nd floor is miserable.

I was just eating in the restaurant today around 6 p.m. and went through the self-service checkout. An employee at the scan and go checkout scans your card and unlocks it. But annoyed!!!In general, the checkouts in Ikea are unfriendly. IKEA should retrain its checkout staff and open an exit for restaurant visitors.

Monday morning with a baby. Everything was great, nursing area great, changing area in men's and women's toilets, so dad can also change diapers. Breakfast was delicious. Shopping has been good as always for years.

Oasis of well-being... But one thing doesn't work at all...when you go out for breakfast...put crispy bacon on your plate. The cashier at the checkout takes a fork...and arranges the bacon strips so that she can determine the price... It doesn't work at all!!!! It was really disgusting.

Unfortunately, Ikea has raised the catering prices a lot. Given the profits of this huge group, they should have lowered the prices.

It's a really great IKEA, but the parking situation is annoying. Unfortunately, there are only 2 charging stations for so many parking spaces and for electric cars and far too few family parking spaces.

We drove there for 1 hour for chests of drawers that were sufficiently in stock only to see on site that there were only two chests of drawers left and yours was damaged. A total of 2 hours for nothing!!! We borrowed a car specifically for this!!!

Exchanging an item is a game of patience here. It took an incredible 75 (!) minutes until it was my turn.

You stand in line at the checkouts for ages because almost everyone is shot. IKEA is saving money in the wrong place. So you don't go there again voluntarily 👎.

A self-service checkout scanned two out of ten items twice without any noticeable acoustic signal. Due to too few cash registers (half were broken or offline) and too many customers waiting, we felt the need to clear the cash register quickly and therefore did not check the receipt. A complaint the next day was dismissed by saying that it was the customer's duty to check the receipt immediately. That may be true, but a scanner that does not acoustically indicate a double scan or is even able to scan a barcode multiple times in tenths of a second is a complete impudence. One has to assume that Ikea consciously accepts this unwanted income.

Definitely worth a visit again and again. Very friendly and helpful staff.

For people who like the style, the non plus ultra... down in the market hall, yes I can always find something there. And the restaurant is okay for me too.

Here you spend longer at the goods counter than you are in the actual store - and as we all know, that's never short at ikea. The time forecast initially showed 15 minutes, then it said 45 minutes "in progress" - for 3 parts. Update: this time there was exactly 1 checkout - on Saturday. Correspondingly long queue. There were simply no staff at the goods issue point. But thanks to Click&Collect you had to wait in line. With 30 people. You can't just leave and come later - it's already paid for. The worst IKEA I know. Things are going much better in Braunschweig.
