Restaurant Piazzetta in Laatzen

Liwa's Pizzeria impresses not only with its excellent food, but also with its heartfelt service. Thanks to Mr. Nilad and his kind farewell gesture, we felt completely at home. A visit we would happily recommend!

We ate at Liwa's in Rethen today and were delighted by the delicious food, the ambiance, and the super friendly service. A real asset to Rethen.

Unfortunately, vegetarian dishes aren't explicitly listed, and sometimes detailed information about the ingredients is missing. The food was rather expensive and the portions were very large, but overall delicious.

I've been in Rethen for five weeks now, and it's already an insider tip. Top-notch Italian cuisine with a very dedicated and friendly team. Definitely worth trying.

A harmonious ambience, with comfortable chairs at high-quality tables in a tasteful selection of colors. Very friendly and attentive service, and absolutely top-notch food. In addition to the fairly standard menu, there was a very exciting daily special. We were very satisfied and had a lovely evening. The prices are high and not in keeping with the location. You can sometimes eat cheaper in downtown Hanover. The big screen TV with Italian hits isn't even necessary for me. Nevertheless, we'll definitely come back more often if the quality is maintained. We had pizza, which was very fluffy, with a soft crust and a very fruity tomato sauce. Wonderful. The ravioli with Gorgonzola and the penne in truffle cream with mushrooms rolled in a Parmesan loaf were sublime. Truly fantastic, please keep it up! We're delighted to have a fantastic new restaurant in our beautiful Rethen.

The taste was okay, but €85 for four people, including two small children, without starters and wine, is simply too expensive, especially given the current price. A shame! Oh, and the €1 discount for a small pizza compared to a large one is truly ridiculous.

How wonderful that there's a great restaurant in Rethen again. We waited a long time and were rewarded with LIWA's. Great service, delicious food!!! The interior is quite small, so reservations are recommended during the colder months. The outdoor area is nice and spacious and is great on warm days, both in the afternoon and evening. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food, ambiance, and service were excellent and very attentive every time I visited. 🙌 Soft, relaxing music plays in the background, and we always feel very welcome. Everything seems very clean and hygienic. 👍 Despite the professional appearance, the team is also up for a bit of lighthearted fun. Keep it up! You're a real asset to Rethen and its market square.

Great! Finally in Rethen. We had a wonderful evening, very friendly service. Excellent pasta and pizza. The tagliatelle with porcini mushroom cream sauce was a dream! We're already looking forward to our next visits.

Both the tagliatelle tartufo and the pizzait with mushrooms and anchovies were prepared for us to take away. The price, usually just under €20 per dish, was really close to my pain threshold. €15 would be fairer. Other restaurants in Laatzen aren't at this level.

The food and service were okay, but the prices made me dizzy. There are two excellent Italian restaurants nearby where I can get a standard pizza for under ten euros. And here I'm supposed to pay €15 for that? Sorry, I'd rather drive a kilometer further in one direction or the other and get the same or better quality for several euros less. Lower the prices, and I'll be happy to eat there.

Super cute restaurant, Milo, the waiter is super nice and has a really well-groomed beard! Only giving 4 stars for service and ambiance because it recently opened and is having a bit of a start-up bump. Card payments are currently not accepted. Definitely recommend!

We work with heart here! I felt very comfortable and the food was tasty! I'd love to come back!

Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The meat was dry, as was the bread – anything but fresh or juicy. The service wasn't particularly friendly or attentive either. The worst part, though, was the delivery: The kebab came completely disintegrated, a complete mess, and the taste wasn't convincing either. There are much better options in the area. I definitely won't be going back.

The atmosphere is a bit chilly compared to its predecessor with its cozy seating. But it's nice to have a bistro in Rethen again.

Very friendly staff and the kebab is the best I've ever eaten!

Can't recommend it, it was my fifth time there and I said several times that I didn't want curry sauce. The whole kebab bag is full of it again, apart from the fact that the meat is already low class, the salad bar doesn't look good either.

Very good food, definitely recommend the chicken cheeseburger with extra jalapenos and sweet potatoes. Great and friendly staff. There is always an extra tea included.

Not the typical restaurant you're used to, but much more upscale than the standard "döner kebab shop". Modernly furnished shop where you can even be served at the table. The dishes so far have all been warm and very tasty. In my opinion, the prices are reasonable and you get your food fairly cheaply. The restaurant is doing very well and we really enjoy going there. You can even pay by card!

I would give zero points because I got a completely different kebab than I ordered. The seller said "that's what it tastes like" and I threw the kebab away after four bites because I didn't like it at all and the meat was disgusting.

The food is delicious, prices are ok, staff is nice. The ambience is not my thing... it's more of a snack bar than a bistro. It's a shame, you could do more with it... especially in Rethen, where there's nothing else in terms of gastronomy.

We are happy that there is a culinary offer in Rethen again. The dishes taste good, the vegetarian bag and the millet salad are recommended. The atmosphere in the restaurant is familiar. I would happily recommend Piazetta.

The food is always tasty and warm, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant. Not your typical restaurant but also not the kebab shop next door. We like coming here. The staff is always very friendly. You can pay by card.

We often get pizza, kebab plates or kebab bags here and have not been disappointed so far! Everything is freshly prepared, which is always done quickly. There is a choice of chicken and veal.

The Piazetta, reopened after a long break. Great - we had a larger group as guests, just a few meters away. So: order, pick up and let us know the day before. No sooner said than done - around 25 orders were announced the day before for the next evening and tickets were taken away for advance selection. Our guests had selected food - 23 orders in total. Called and drove there after the requested 40 minutes. Not even half of the food was ready, well, after 10 minutes of waiting, the finished food was packed up and told there would be another 30 minutes of waiting time. Even after half an hour, not all of the food was ready. The pizzas in particular took another fifteen minutes to arrive. Embarrassing to “spoil” your guests like that. In the end there was still no food, although a pizza was also given. The prices are almost too moderate, even for a pick-up snack. So I can't judge the taste - a good host goes hungry for his guests... Conclusion: Because Cheffe de facto works alone and prepares the food, waiting times are inevitable. You should not expect the times mentioned to be binding. In any case: If the restaurant is full, if you want to eat there, you should think carefully about whether you are prepared to wait longer. In any case, we will avoid the new Piazetta.

The kebab roll was wrapped in bread that opened completely when unpacked and the bread wasn't crispy or anything. The sellers are friendly and chatty. But the donner roll definitely needs improvement.

Short break in between: nice service, good portion, tasty and everything was fine.

The food was as bad as it had been for a long time. I had currywurst fries and my partner baked kebab. And the service was so good, even if you had to pre-order by phone, it took 45 minutes from ordering to serving and then my fried sausage was in the fat for too long and eating fries with kurtz from my partner was just greasy. It's a shame for the local restaurant, it used to be very good and today there are no words

Much better and not your average kebab shop. We've already had a lamacun and a halloumi roll and were thrilled every time. The Lamacun dough is freshly made. Very tasty, we'll be back 🥰

It's just a snack bar with kebab etc...

Despite the note, the order is immediately forgotten. The only thing they know is how they collect money. Every sauce and every little thing is charged extra. When we didn't want to drink, the gentleman almost got angry! The food was ok and normal level. The “service” is practically non-existent. While our fries were in the deep fryer, the extractor hood was put on top. No comparison with the earlier Piazetta.

Food is okay, but what you get for your money really isn't much. Completely overpriced. For example with the kebab casserole...

The food is good but the service is forgettable. You will be punished with disrespect if you want to order anything else. And it takes too long. Until the waiter finally comes. The shop has never been really cozy, but now you have the feeling you're sitting in some kebab shop at the main train station.

We ate kebab here for lunch during the week. Unfortunately there is no chicken skewer. Chicken can still be ordered and is then (I assume) prepared in a pan or something similar. We ordered a Dürüm, a kebab box and a kebab plate. Even though the shop was very empty, the food took about 15 minutes. The sauces were delicious, the kebab meat was so-so. In my opinion the prices are high. Here I pay €8.50 for a Dürüm, which unfortunately wasn't really big. The staff were friendly and the interior is chic. It is also unfortunate that there is no Coca Cola Zero. Instead, Fritz Cola zero, although I don't find it as tasty as the Fritz Cola superzero. Overall, the store is okay, but unfortunately not very convincing.

We went to the Piazzetta restaurant today and... Big kebab, currywurst fries and chicken burger with sweet potatoes ordered. The fries were thick cut and very tasty. Sweet potatoes are also very tasty and crispy. Currywurst and chicken burger --- nothing to complain about. The big kebab was very tasty.

The pizza is very tasty, but a bit lacking in toppings. The kebab is delicious but was too dry for me, but for my brother it was perfect. The owner is very nice and the staff didn't do anything wrong. The place is very clean. The problem is that it's not really a restaurant but a kebab shop or a bistro. But you can also order very late, even if it is after 10 p.m. What could be improved would be to not only sell chicken meat at the kebab, but also veal.

Super Essen und sein toller Service in Kombination mit einem stimmigen Preisgefüge.

Eher ein Bistro, sehr einfach eingerichtet. Ein großer Raum, ohne jede optische Abtrennung zwischen den Tischen. Mit dem ehemaligen Piazzetta ist das nicht vergleichbar. Die Currywurst schmeckt gut. Die Preise sind human. Für eine gute Atmosphäre müsste allerdings etwas getan werden. Die Beleuchtung müsste gedämpft werden und die Einrichtung könnte mit einfachen Mitteln, zB halbhohen Paravents aufgelockert werden, damit man nicht das Gefühl hat in einer Bahnhofshalle zu sitzen.

Gutes Essen nicht zu teuer und freundliche Mitarbeiter

Nach langer Zeit des Leerstandes waren auch wir glücklich, dass wir in Rethen wieder eine kleine Gastro haben. Leider wurden wir beide Male enttäuscht...! Der Laden ist nett hergerichtet, das Personal freundlich bemüht...das Essen: unterirdisch! Beim ersten Besuch war die Pizza 🍕 war fettig und matschig......also dachten wir...lassen wir das Team erstmal richtig ankommen und geben dem Ganzen eine 2. Chance. Da wir es eilig hatten haben wir uns zwei Dönerteller zum mitnehmen mit Hähnchen bestellt. Tja...was soll ich sagen...der Salat war 90% Eisbergsalat mit zwei Gurkenscheiben und einer Tomatenscheibe. Dazu ein Miniklecks Soße...., die Pommes mittelmäßig und kaum gewürzt und das Hähnchen war einfach ein Stück trockenes Hähnchenfiletfleisch in Scheiben geschnitten. Mit einem Hähnchendöner hatte das rein garnichts zu tun. Schade.....gerade der erste Eindruck zählt doch um sich eine gute Stammkundschaft aufzubauen!! Warum man das nicht besser nutzt, genug Interesse ist doch da, verstehe ich nicht....Wir essen hier jedenfalls nicht mehr.....bestenfalls kommen wir mal im Sommer auf ein Bier vorbei (je nachdem wielange sich der Laden hält).

Sorry , auch Ich muss jetzt leider sagen , Preis Leistung steht hier in keinem Verhältnis, ich war jetzt das 2. mal da. Das erste Mal zur Eröffnung, OK da dachte Ich , die sind neu ,das wird schon . Aber auch nach mehreren Wochen scheint sich nichts geändert zu haben .. die Leute arbeiten mit so einer Motivation das glaubt ihr nicht (Ironie). Aber zum Döner selbst .. das einzige was wirklich an einem Bigdöner Big ist , ist der Preis denn der schlägt mit 7.50euro deftig zu. Ansonsten kann man den gefüllten Döner mit einem normalen bei der Konkurrenz Vergleichen. ich für meinen Teil werde jetzt lieber wieder nach Laatzen fahren. Denn da weiß man was man hat. Echt schade.

Das Essen ist top und sie geben sich auch viel Mühe. Natürlich gibt es auch Stress aber das ist überall bei einem neuen Restaurant so. Das Essen hat Qualität und für die Preise passt es . Sehr weiter empfehlend!

Mein Mann und ich können diese ganzen schlechten Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen! Wir waren auch erst skeptisch, sind dann aber einfach mal rein und haben los bestellt. Für uns gab es einen Döner, zwei Dönerteller und eine Falafel Rolle. Der Döner war (laut meinem Mann) wirklich sehr sehr lecker! Die Dönerteller (laut meinen Kindern) sehr sehr lecker und von meiner Falafelrolle brauche ich eigentlich nicht anfangen aber... Die Falafel waren ultra saftig! Ich habe bis jetzt nur trockene Falafel Rollen essen dürfen, aber hier? SEHR SEHR LECKER!!! Wir wurden immer nett bedient und es war alles nach unseren Wünschen. Gut, den Ausenbereich könnte man aufpäppeln muss man aber nicht denn...liebe Leute... SUPRISE!!! Es ist immer noch ein Imbiss. Von Übelkeit oder Durchfall, allgemein Magenproblemen danach KEINE SPUR! PS: Wer gehoben essen gehen möchte, sollte vielleicht mehr bezahlen wollen.😏

Alter Name, neuer Besitzer. Erstmal: es ist schön, dass es in dem Laden nach ewigem Leerstand wieder ne Gastro gibt. Ich hätte mir zwar für Rethen ein nettes, kleines Restaurant gewünscht und keinen Imbiss - aber immerhin. Heute zum ersten Mal dort gewesen - eher zufällig, weil der Antalya Grill in Gleidingen geschlossen war. Leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Die Abläufe wirken insgesamt noch sehr unkoordiniert, was zu langen Wartezeiten führt. Die 120 (!) Gerichte auf der Karte helfen da wahrscheinlich nicht weiter. Das Servicekonzept bleibt unklar (wer nimmt Bestellungen auf?; bestellt man vorne oder am Platz?). Das Essen kam völlig anders als bestellt: keine Zwiebeln bei beiden Gerichten - extra viele Zwiebeln bekommen. Keine scharfe Sauce für meinen Sohn - er bekommt reichlich davon (dafür nicht das bestellte Tsatsiki). Der Teig der Rollos war leider viel zu dick und hart, so dass sie praktisch nicht zu essen waren. Also extra Teller und Besteck geholt und wenigstens die Füllung gegessen. Und warum muss man bei einer Bestellung zum verzehr im Haus die Rollos in Alu packen? Vielen davon sind sicher Anlaufschwierigkeiten. Aber das ist noch sehr viel Luft nach oben.

Hab einen Big Döner bestellt der leider nicht der beste war (Big auch nicht) und da zu noch kalt da Er auf die Kelnerin gewartet hat obwohl nur 3 Tische (mit meinem) besetzt waren hat die Bedienung lange gedauert. Die Preise sind in Ordnung. Ich teste verschiedene Döner Imbisse und werde hier sicher keinen weiteren Döner essen obwohl Ich es hier nah hab. Das Lokal ist schick und die haben sogar Zapfbier, aber leider ist das Team etwas ohne Erfahrung.

Döner schmeckt wie sandwich einbisschen, aber trotzdem 5 von 5 sternen
