IKEA Restaurant Frankfurt in Frankfurt am Main

Service was very poor. Half of the food options were out of stock. I ordered six additional kötbular, but I was charged for eight. The cashier was completely overwhelmed with complaints, so I didn't get a refund. The food was cold.

Very friendly staff behind the counter. Unfortunately, we had to wait forever at the checkout, especially on a Thursday, so the food ended up being cold. The woman behind the cashier was friendly and not slow, but she was alone, and the line was long. Please, IKEA, give this poor woman some support!

All they have there is garbage. Always the same food, unfortunately, they're too lazy to make anything else.

The IKEA restaurant offers a moderately sized selection of different dishes, including plant-based sausages, pasta, and fries, although these are obviously not of the same quality as those found in a "fine" restaurant. The new design is positive, appearing more inviting and fresh than before. The service is also relatively attentive and fast, even though the restaurant was quite crowded. What could be improved is the availability of drink stations (there are always more stations out of order than in use), the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the freshness and quality of the dressings. Furthermore, the fries weren't cooked long enough and were therefore very soggy. As we are regular guests at IKEA, we stop by because these incidents are minor and occur frequently, which is not unheard of in a bistro designed for efficiency.

Wow, a hot drink now costs €1.95? At least it's still free with the FamilyCard. The food is okay and always a pleasure. The salmon too. However, they've currently run out of napkins, so you have to tear off a piece of paper from an unperforated roll.

Restaurant at the Frankfurt IKEA store. Atmospheric place, with comfortable furniture and a pleasant view. Here you can get the same "IKEA meatballs", and in addition to them salads, hot dishes, drinks and desserts. During the last visit there were quite a few free seats.

The food has been lukewarm for over a year now. The portions are getting smaller and smaller, self-service is becoming more and more common, and the food is getting more expensive. Customer service is also a concern, and putting food away an hour before closing, either in the restaurant or downstairs at the snack bar, and not having fries, for example, is also a problem!

Solid restaurant, very fair prices.

The leaf symbol for vegetarian food is misleading for vegans. It would be nice if vegan products were more clearly labeled. The garlic baguette and soup are also rarely labeled. That's a real shame. A Veganuary offer was advertised online. However, it's not advertised in the restaurant. What bothers me most, though, is that the oat milk coffee machine in both Frankfurt and Wallau is always broken. If it doesn't work, fine, but please provide oat milk, especially when you're advertising that Ikea Family members get a delicious hot drink for free!

Iconic dishes, affordable prices, and an anonymous atmosphere. Ideal for studying alone, eating cake with friends, or enjoying a cheap dinner. IKEA Kakao is and remains the best!

Man kann die Erfahrung mit dem Restaurant beim Ikea in Frankfurt kurz so zusammenfassen: -für Ikea Restaurants gut und sauber geführtes Restaurant - gut vorbereitetes Essen - alles sehr sauber - freundliches Personal, allerdings hat man das Gefühl, dass in dem Restaurant nur Menschen aus einer Familie arbeiten - Kaffee schmeckt erstaunlich gut für so eine Schnellgastronomie - am Rande bemerkt: Organisation der Warenausgabe ist katastrophal; das machen andere Ikeas wie zum Beispiel in München Brunnthal deutlich besser

The food is solid, the portions were small to okay for us. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right (anymore). In the end we paid a good 30 euros for two adults and a child, but we got something to drink and a dish each. No starters, no dessert. Service is virtually non-existent - you do everything yourself (except putting the food on your plate), which doesn't contribute to the price. Eating out at IKEA is somehow no longer what it used to be.

You pay a lot of money for very small portions and have to pay extra for the sauces. You're ripping us off with your bad furniture anyway, and then we have to walk through a labyrinth. At least give us good food with good quality and at a fair price in the end.

IKEA‘s restaurant is must to visit place. Everything is tasty and of high quality. Restaurant‘s interior is amazing, prices are reasonable. The service is fast and atmosphere is friendly. Highly recommend to visit.

Dass hier praktisch ausnahmslos TK Convenience Essen verkauft wird, dürfte klar sein. Die Versammlung des Personals hinter der Theke macht sofort einen komplett unmotivierten Eindruck und die Kommunikation ist unfreundlich. Die Schnitzel, egal welches Fleisch, scheinen Formfleisch mit billiger Panade ohne Würzung zu sein. Also McDonalds kann das besser. Die Pommes sind trocken und schmecken nach billigem Pommes Fett. Die Köttbullar sind naturgemäß mit mehr Brot als Fleisch und geschmacksneutral. Der Lachs ist gebeizt, um wahrscheinlich etwas Geschmack dran zu bekommen. Als Salat werden dazu Schnipsel von etwas wie Endivien (im Juni!) geliefert - ohne jedes Dressing. Die in angemessener Menge mitgelieferte Senfsauce kann dem Essen etwas Geschmack einhauchen. Wer schon mal guten Lachs gegesenn hat, braucht das nicht. Fazit: Auch der günstige Preis rechtfertigt so ein Essen nicht.

Very bright, nice environment. Service is ok, well, there’s not much service needed here anyways. Food quality has reduced tons over the years! Today had a pumpkin soup, it is so salty, that makes my tongue numb. Hot chocolate is also somewhat salty. Meatballs were so good in the past, now it’s a shame! Last time we had meatballs here then I have had stomachache for days afterwards. What a pity! Please improve your food and drinks quality!

Food was okay, just cult food at Ikea The restaurant has system catering, a little more coziness would be nice, but I don't have an idea. I found it new that a coffee was deducted from two Ikea cards at the checkout. Is that the case now?

Tasteless chicken schnitzel accompanied by sticky, tasteless fries

Food was quite good, the Köttbullar tasted good. Unfortunately, the woman behind the counter was very unfriendly and gave the impression that she wasn't interested in her job at all. The woman in front of me asked for fries instead of mashed potatoes and the lady behind the counter covered her eyes and simply said “Mmm”. You could tell she was really unhappy. But the cashier woman was very friendly.

Pilzsoße ohne Geschmack ! Pommes mittelmäßig . Schnitzel fade. Beschilderung zu den Gerichten mangelhaft. Unmotivierte Küchen-Mitarbeiter mit Ausnahme Kasse.

Have been there several times and never had any problems with the food. The toilets were always quite clean.

With the family card you get coffee for free... Unfortunately only one coffee machine works and the coffee is very, very weak. I would rather pay money for decent coffee. Absolutely bad.

The food was super tasty and cheap.

Das Essen war sehr fade und viel zu teuer für die Portionen. Der Kaffee schmeckte nicht und dann hatte der eine Automat technische Probleme. Es bildete sich eine Schlange von Wartenden. Die anderen 2 Automaten waren gereinigt und ausgestellt aufgrundvon Personalmangel, wie man mir erklärte. Nächstes Mal nur noch Hot Dog am Stand. Schade!!!!!!

We tried lunch off and on over a long period of time. The taste is okay but unfortunately only lukewarm. A pity. Maybe you could use new warming containers. Service staff are usually very friendly.

Bestes Schwedenrestaurant in Deutschland! Top Sauberkeit und Service! Großes Lob an alle Mitarbeitenden und den Restaurant Chef.

Wir haben als Familie nach dem Shoppen im Restaurant Speisen geordert, u.a. Köttbullar und einen Gemüsetopf. Wohlwissend, dass man sich in der Kantine einer Filiale des bekannten schwedischen Möbelhauses befindet, hat sich beim Essen alles andere als Freude eingestellt. Die Köttbullar sind meiner Meinung nach aus billigem Fleisch, der Geschmack der eher gekochten as gebratenen Fleischmasse ist merkwürdig, ebenso die Konsistenz. Pommes Frotes waren kalt und ungesalzen, nach der Beanstandung bekam ich zwar neue, die waren wieder ungesalzen und lapprig. Saucen zu dem Pommes sind nicht im Angebot, man kann sich den Genuss entweder mit Salatdressing oder anderen unpassenden Saucen noch weiter verderben. Alles äußerst einfach und dafür ziemlich teuer. Nie wieder!

Das Essen war kalt und die MitarbeiterInnen sind einfach unfreundlich. Es schmeckt nicht mehr, leider.

Die Fleischbällchen (Kotbüllar) waren teilweise zu kalt und viel zu trocken. Die Pommes hatte kein Salz. Die Soße ebenfalls kalt. Das einzige positive war der Kuchen, der war gut.

While it’s great that there are vegan options the employees often don’t know the ingredients of what they are serving. Unfortunately, apart from ketchup, there are no vegan sauces to have with the plant based köttbullar (meat balls). Clear labeling could be a first step to help recognizing wanted or unwanted ingredients or vegetarian or vegan food.

Kötbullar und Hähnchenschnitzel etwas trocken, ansonsten alles gut :)

Nettes Personal, bin immer gerne dort gewesen

Wir waren nach längerer Zeit mal wieder bei Ikea. Dachten was essen schadet nicht. Ein Trost gibt's zum Essen schlechter kann es nicht werden. Hatten zwei unterschiedliche Gerichte beides ohne Geschmack. So günstig ist es dann auch nicht.

Der Salatteller in gewohnt guter Qualität und Frische. Aber fasziniert hat mich das super Hygienekonzept. Hier wird wirklich die CovPassCheck App benutzt und nicht auf meinem Handy rumgetatscht. Man bekommt per einlaminiertem Zettel einen Tisch zugewiesen. Wenn man den Tisch verlässt und das Tablet wegbringt bleibt der Zettel liegen und der Tisch wird desinfiziert. Die Wege sind gut ausgewiesen und Abstand ist mehr als ausreichend. Warum kann das nicht in mehr Gastro Betrieben so vorbildlich umgesetzt werden?

Das war das beste was ich je gegessen habe
