Went here as a couple and ordered a salad and a cheese pide and what can I say... The salad was already a few days old, had brown spots and tasted somehow strange. The pide was dry and the side salad wasn't the freshest either. The service consisted of robots that brought you the plates and waiters who annoyedly asked if the food was tasty. It didn't.

BigChefs in MyZeil is truly a hidden gem in the middle of Frankfurt! The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere – modern, but still cozy. The waiters were super friendly and attentive, you immediately feel welcome. The food was really tasty, fresh and with great flavors. I found the Çay particularly cool, very tasty and people were happy to refill it - little details that make the difference! A perfect spot to treat yourself to a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city. I'll definitely be back! 💛

The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant. The service was relatively quick and the service was also friendly. The drinks and food were brought to the table by a robot, something I've never had before. Interesting, but not bad! Now to the food: Unfortunately, my meal (a vegetarian bowl with bulgur, salad, avocado and grilled vegetables) was far too bland, the salad tasted like pure vinegar and was inedible, the bulgur and grilled vegetables were delicious, and the avocado was also fresh. The vinegar taste made almost all of the food inedible. Unfortunately, my friends' food was also far too tasteless. I can't rate every dish, but our selection (the bowl, pasta with chicken and a pide with minced meat) wasn't particularly tasty.

As always, we enjoyed the food, but my companion has a food intolerance and when the flatbread with sheep's cheese shown on the menu didn't come but a roll and we complained about it, the waitress said the menu wasn't up to date, but you could order a flatbread for an additional charge. ???? After I complained again, I was given a drink for my companion at the house's expense. In addition, the entire floor in the winter garden was sticking and everything seemed a bit dingy overall.

Very nice . Food was good 👍 we had a small point of criticism and it was handled well. But the best thing was the super nice young man who served us. He quickly noticed that we weren't from FFM and recommended breakfast for us tomorrow morning. So price performance is top. And Nenad 5☆+ keep it up.

Unfortunately absolutely incompetent staff. It took ages for someone to look after us and take us to our place. Which I think was strange because a lot of the tables were empty. After we were shown to our place, we were hardly noticed anymore. There were 3 more tables taken pretty much near us. They were also served earlier than us. The table next to us, who arrived about 10 minutes later than us, had already had their main courses and we hadn't even had our starters. The same waitress came to our table 3 times with the wrong food for us. I think for almost €16 you should get more than 6 small slices of chicken in sauce. Which, by the way, I had to season a lot. A real disgrace. Also, my main course came 10 minutes later than my friend's. The appetizer plate was not taken away from our seat, even though the waitress had several opportunities to do so. Unfortunately, that wasn't it yet. The knives were incredibly dull. I couldn't even properly cut my lemon wedge that had been cooked in the sauce. At the end the waiter asked us to leave a tip. An absolute disgrace. Eating there a second time is out of the question.

I really don't like giving bad reviews, especially when the staff is extremely hard-working and service-oriented like they are here. However, the food was a complete disappointment and I'm not exaggerating. The sauces of both dishes tasted like soup stock and nothing else. For the pasta, an extra portion of parmesan cost 1.75 euros, normally there was maybe 2 grams of parmesan on it...unfortunately that was the only tasty thing about the dish, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to eat it. Unfortunately the chicken was very tough. The only positive thing is: the food was served quickly and we had something in our stomachs. Maybe it wasn't the chef's best day. You can do it much better… much better.

Fries were in the oven for at least 2 minutes too long (they were very dry, I hope they didn't come out of the hairdresser), basmati rice gave me a stomach ache and seemed to have been warmed up in the microwave. Dry and for some reason tasted like some kind of vegetable broth (even though the rice was served plain). Burger was ok, the mayonnaise for the fries tasted strange. Service is almost non-existent, only there to clear things up and take money. Music is nice and the ambience was pleasant.

The service (nice operation) and the operating robot were positive. It was the first time a robot brought us food. The food was rather negative. The strawberry lemonade didn't taste like strawberries, just sweet and artificial. The Firik Bowl was largely unseasoned. The chicken skewers were better.

Unfortunately our visit was a huge disappointment. Of the three dishes ordered, two were served, while the third only arrived half an hour later. This meant we couldn't eat together, which spoiled the entire evening. In addition, the food was dry and hardly edible - apparently poorly prepared or left for too long. Overall, a very disappointing experience that was not offset by good service or an apology. We definitely won't eat here again.

Four of us ate at this restaurant yesterday. Overall, it was the third time in a period of about 1.5 years. Everything was great on the first visit, no reasons to complain. On the second visit, the service was good, the food tasted good, but the portions had visibly shrunk. Yesterday we couldn't find anything wrong with the food; it was solid, tasted good and didn't really stand out in any respect. But what really stood out negatively was the service. Long waiting times for seating, ordering, delivery of drinks and even longer for the food. Food wasn't particularly complicated, 3x pizza and 1x pasta. For a pizza there was a special request to have an egg on the pizza, which is available as an add-on for the burger. That didn't work with the pizza. The service robot seemed to be working poorly again that day and was reinitialized twice in the 1.5 hours we spent there. It may well be due to a lack of staff, but the restaurant was far from full.

Disappointing breakfast experience Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant was disappointing. Even when waiting for a table (15 minutes, even though there were seats available) there was a lack of organization and honesty. We only received a menu at the table after five minutes, even though we wanted to order straight away. The robot that brought breakfast was misconfigured and caused confusion as to which foods were ours. The promised tea only came after we asked again when we were almost finished. The breakfast itself was okay, but the poor service and the overwhelmed waiters spoiled the impression. Customer satisfaction doesn't seem to be important here. I won't come back.

Unfortunately, it takes ages for a waiter to come, even if you “call the waiter” online, no one comes. The menus are torn and some entire pages are missing. The lunch offer, which is only valid on working days, is not valid on Saturday. Apparently Saturday is not a working day? The food was OK.

Unfortunately we discovered that there was probably something wrong with the food. was because now all three of us have to suffer from food poisoning. Simply bad...really looks good from the outside...been there several times...but the last two times it's a no go...people are ignored...any tourists who probably paid more are given preference...espresso catastrophic... no crema... I asked for a new one... no spoon... no sugar... espresso stood for too long again... no more dessert, the waitress said... totally worth it That's no longer the case...whoever brings you an espresso without a spoon and sugar and then says you have no idea how you should not to be unleashed on the guests... It's a shame...but definitely only 1 star for such a weak performance.... I think with the right employees we can do something here. My criticism is constructive and not personal... I hope it gets better...

Wir waren immer sehr gerne dort, da der Geschmack und die Würze des Essens unserem entspricht. Leider war unser letzter Besuch nicht mehr ganz so gut. Einiges war mittags unter der Woche schon aus, die Location in die Jahre gekommen und die Speisekarten teilweise zerrissen oder nicht vollständig. Wenn ich zu viert am Tisch sitzen möchte ich auch gerne 4 Karten haben. Diese komischen Roboter waren anfangs lustig aber mit der Zeit auch nervig. Alle paar Minuten blieb so ein Ding stehen und teilte mit sich verlaufen zu haben. Ich weiß auch nicht wieso wir noch ein Trinkgeld vergeben? Preislich war alles ok und geschmacklich leider nur standard. Ich glaube wir werden dort eine Zeit lang nicht mehr hingehen.

Mixed feelings… a very nice shop in MyZeil. First of all, the food tasted very, very good, and of course we get full marks for that. We are referring to the steak as well as the pide with minced meat & eggplant and the potato salad. (Except for the salad with the steak, which wasn't fresh) Now for the negative points: 1. Long waiting time until you were shown to your seat. It wasn't clear to us why, as many tables were free. 2. The menu cards were terrible, pages torn, totally worn out and even worse missing pages. 3. Luckily the drinks came in bottles so we didn't have to use the glasses. See pictures. I hope this recession helps for the future. It's not meant to be bad, but a restaurant in MyZeil with such good cuisine shouldn't neglect the surroundings either.

Big disappointment. Yesterday we went to Big Chefs for the second time. Our first visit was 1.5 years ago and we were thrilled back then. Especially from the food and the delicious cookies and coffee that were homemade. The service back then was very committed and friendly. Yesterday we were left standing at the entrance for almost 5 minutes until we were noticed. Then we were brought to a dirty table where we had to ask for it to be wiped down. The service is completely demotivated, not interested in the guest, neither friendly nor courteous. My latte macchiato, which was finally served after 30 minutes and multiple requests, came lukewarm and in a sticky glass because the milk had overflowed and dried out. The complaint was accepted and I was given a well-warmed latte macchiato in the same glass. The food was OK, but the price/performance ratio is not good. Then at some point we got the bill without asking and were supposed to pay, but it would be okay if we stayed seated. We should just pay. So basically a gentle eviction. What happened to the store? We are super disappointed and won't be going there again.

Never again! Bad service: Our drinks didn't come until we had already finished eating. My husband had to run after the wait staff to ask where our drinks were. He was then told that they had no ice cream. After five minutes we finally got our drinks and we discovered they didn't contain any ice cream. Instead it was milk and probably strawberry Nesquik quickly mixed together, with a bit of cream on top. Is that supposed to be a milkshake? I pointed out to the waitress that it tasted like pure milk. She then said that the boss, Mr. Demir, said it was prepared just right - and we had to pay for it. An absolute disgrace! The food also only arrived half warm. Simply horrible. My first and last time there! I would prefer to go to the shop opposite in the future. For example Alex: much friendlier, fast and with QUALITY!

Am 27.12 Brunch für den 01.01 reserviert mit der Bitte um 11:30 zu kommen, weil der Brunch nur bis 13:00 geht. Am 01.01, Restaurant bis 12:00 geschlossen. Kein Schild, keine verlässliche Information, nur eine Kuchenhilfe die weder Deutsch noch Türkisch spricht. Um 12:00 trödeln die Mitarbeiter nach und nach ein. Endlich eine Person die Türkisch spricht ! Deutsch Fehlanzeige. Klar jetzt ist das Restaurant geöffnet und es gibt gleich Brunch. System mit Reservierungen gibt es nicht ! Um 12:15 kommt ein Kellner. Ob es Brunch gibt, weiß er nicht ! Er muss nachfragen... Nach 5 Minuten kommt er zurück. Nee Heute nur Mittagessen. Wir wollten mit einem Verantwortlichen sprechen, Fehlanzeige, keiner vor Ort und auch nicht erreichbar ! Fazit, 50 Minuten verloren, von Ahnungslosen bedient und hungrig das Lokal verlassen. Zum Glück gibt es andere Restaurant mit Brunch auf der gleichen Etage. Da sind wir Herzlich empfangen worden. Das war meine erste und letzte Erfahrung mit der türkische Gastfreundlichkeit von Big Chef. Frohes Neues Jahr und schöne Grüße an Gamze

We had a terrible experience at this place. We waited for 40 minutes without anyone coming to take our order, even though the restaurant was far from full. I even went up to the staff to ask if we could order, but they completely ignored us. The servers were incredibly rude and unprofessional, acting like they couldn’t care less about the customers. After waiting so long, we decided to leave without ordering. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—horrible service and a waste of time!

Looked good from the outside, but unfortunately didn't meet expectations. - Table wasn't cleaned before we got it - Service ignored us the entire time. Both for the order and for the invoice - I ended up having to "threaten" two waiters to leave without paying so that they would let me pay. Before that, they referred me to another waiter twice and said someone would be coming soon. Unfortunately not a good experience. You can tell that the employees have no motivation for their jobs. I don't actually write comments like that, but I hope the owner reads it and improves the situation.

I am changing my 5 star rating after an year based on my recent visit at Big Chef, Frankfurt. Staff on duty were not at all interested with offering table to the customers waiting in queue for more than 20 mins. After 30 mins we were given a table and it took them another 20 mins to take order from us and that too we insisted them repeatedly. I had to carry the baby chair on my own as the waiter kept us waiting for more than 10 mins to get the baby chair. Food quality also not good. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Service is completely overwhelmed with few guests. Many drinks and dishes were sold out. The food was carelessly prepared and completely unseasoned - an insult to the cuisine they advertise. The robots that deliver the orders are just annoying because they can't get through because chairs and tables are in their direction. I have a lot of understanding, but first of all having to wait outside for 20 minutes... then being brought to a dirty table... and the shop isn't even half full. When I was cleaning the table, the leftover food was simply wiped onto my clothes. We spent another 20 minutes at the table without getting anything to drink. There was a huge lack of structure and division of work. I've enjoyed coming here often in the past, but I'll probably have to think twice about coming here again in the future.

If I could, I wouldn't even give it a star! I went to Big Chefs with my friends and ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The meat had the consistency of chewing gum and tasted like frozen meatballs. I also didn't think you could mess up fries, but Big Chefs managed that too. Go eat somewhere else!!

I was there on December 14th at around 6 p.m. Table 110! The strong waiter is (with all due respect) for the ton! There were 5 of us (3 adults and 2 children). At first at the entrance they let us sit until someone else came and said sorry, the table was reserved. Then we went to the dead end table 110. Sat etc, at table 109, came later than us. But was served earlier. Immediately afterwards, table 109 has received food and we wait and wait. Call the waiter and nothing came. Only when table 109 was READY was my food and after calling 3 times we got our food. Are you serious? I didn't want a 5 course meal! Then the harshness of the evening. I tell the waiter I need a receipt and he tells me with his eyes turned. That's a problem! Hello ? Said to the guys the problem will be the German state, what are you saying? (I only got this from a colleague. To be honest, get out straight away with something like that. If I see it again in a week, I'll report it to the tax office and also the health department. Hello, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. We were there this evening and wanted to celebrate our birthday in a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, the evening was very disappointing, from the food to the staff. What I found really shocking was the robot that dropped a lot of drinks so that the shards ended up under our table and no one cared to sweep away the broken pieces. Absolute disaster! We had breakfast over a year ago and just recently again. Unfortunately I have to say that the breakfast has deteriorated significantly in terms of quality and quantity. The portion size and selection has changed for the worse. We also discovered a half-eaten apricot on our plate! 🤢🤢🤢 In addition, the service was very slow and totally unfriendly and arrogant. Big Chefs at the Zeil is centrally located. Loved the bread and the sides. The restaurant looks amazing. A 3 star because my friend ordered salad and when she mentioned to the staff, they said no.. the salad was fresh. Didn’t offer alternatives or listen. Unfortunately the service and the fact that the salad was not good made the experience bad. All in all, prime location . The drinks were good.

Ladies and Gentlemen I regret to inform you that my last visit to your restaurant was very disappointing. My girlfriend and I were looking forward to breakfast for two and also ordered coffee. But the experience was anything but pleasant even though the restaurant was empty and had quite a few staff that day. Firstly we had to wait over 45 minutes before we could ask for our drinks which still weren't served. Instead of a solution or an apology, we only received the answer that we would “look into it”. Only when we had almost finished our meal - which at least tasted okay - were the coffees served. The waitress simply offered us to cancel it, without any insight or apology. The wait for the bill also took forever, which made the entire experience even more negative. Such poor service leaves a lasting bad impression and completely spoiled our visit. I hope that you take such incidents seriously and rethink your processes and interactions with guests. Unfortunately, in this situation I can no longer recommend your restaurant.

Of the cafés and restaurants in MyZeil, I find this one particularly pleasant and cozy. If the weather is bad, you can easily spend several hours here. The food is delicious, the service is extremely friendly and the seats are really comfortable. A small note: Service robots have been used here for almost three years, which attracted a lot of attention at the time. However, I have noticed that the mix-ups from the robots, which were initially normal, still continue. Of course, there is no reason to deduct a star, on the contrary - pioneers of innovation always bear the first burden and should be rewarded for it. But the manufacturer could possibly update the software.

We were in Frankfurt yesterday as part of a city trip and actually just wanted to have a quick coffee. Unfortunately, the visit was anything but satisfactory. We ordered a Café Latte, a Café Crema, a small water and an iced tea. Some of the drinks were brought to the tables by moving robots, which is basically an interesting idea. However, we had to wait a whopping 30 minutes for a bottle of still water. Even though we ordered a small bottle, there was a large bottle on the robot. Since we didn't take it down because it didn't correspond to our order, after a while a waiter came and put the large bottle on the table without asking. After another 10 minutes the iced tea and the café latte arrived, but the café crema took another 15 minutes to arrive. In total, we sat in the café for over an hour, and one person in our group still hadn't received a simple café crema. What was particularly annoying was that guests at neighboring tables, who arrived after us and sometimes placed larger orders, were served much more quickly. We found this to be extremely unprofessional and rude. When we finally wanted to pay, the bill came quickly, but the waiter made an inappropriate comment. He claimed that we had taken the large bottle of water from the robot ourselves and therefore had to pay more - which was simply not true. Although we didn't want to get into a discussion and used the large bottle, this insinuation was annoying and unprofessional. In summary, the service in this café was extremely slow and disorganized, and some of the staff were unfriendly and rude. It was a disappointing experience that we definitely cannot recommend.
