That was a total mistake! It was a terrible experience. It was a Saturday at 6 p.m., and they told us the pizza service had ended and they were out of ayran! So we ordered other things. Two minutes later, I saw lahmacun (Turkish pizza) being served at the next table. I asked another waitress, and she told me that lahmacun is made by a different cook. It's not made by the pizza chef?! And five minutes later, two pizzas were served at another table. I asked another waiter, and he told me that they pause and then resume pizza orders?! In the end, they did make our pizza, but until then, I had to listen to a lot of lies from the unprofessional staff! It was a complete disaster.

The food was awful, the potatoes were greasy and seemed to have been fried in fish oil. They don't have dessert, they say they do and then cancel. The service is terrible, I simply will never go back and I don't recommend it.

We are extremely disappointed. At the start, the waiter informed us that the pizza oven was already closed at 6 pm on a Saturday and that we couldn't order anything baked (pizza, pide, etc.). We then complained to the manager, who apologized and ordered the pizza for us. Due to this whole mess, our food arrived first, while our son's pizza arrived 10 minutes later. In addition, the drinks weren't served until after the meal. This level of disorganization is unacceptable and demonstrates a clear lack of competence. We love "Big Chefs" in Turkey and came here hoping for a bit of authenticity, but neither the service nor the food reached that level. Here you pay double the price for half the service. An extremely frustrating experience. We won't be back.

I went there today with my mother, and we were both really satisfied. My mom had schnitzel with fries, and I had hummus with sweet potato fries – both were delicious, fresh, and perfectly sized. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I was immediately offered sauces, and overall, everything was relaxed. To be honest, I can't quite understand the many negative reviews. It's just a regular restaurant you go to for lunch or dinner, and for what it is, it does its job really well. We had a pleasant visit and would gladly return.

I was at Big Chefs today (Friday, November 21, 2025, around 7 p.m.) with two friends. The staff were completely overwhelmed and very inattentive. We had to wait ages before we even got the menus and could finally order. By the time we arrived, many of the dishes were no longer available. I had the mint lemonade, which was alright, and the fries with cheese. After a short while, I found a label in my food with a printed expiration date that had already passed. The label had clearly been fried. Since no one was paying attention to us, I wasn't able to complain until much later. She then accused me of not having said something sooner, and then she would have brought me something else. Well, if we had actually been served, I would have gladly done so. After consulting with the manager, she informed me that I had to pay for the meal despite my complaint. Naturally, I lost my appetite. We even waited forever for the bill and to pay. I definitely won't be going there again. The atmosphere is very nice, but the food is truly awful... Never again.

My colleague found a label in her food 🤮 The server tried to get her to accept the meal without having to pay, but it was no use. And the worst part: the label had an expired "best before" date. Service was otherwise slow. It took ages for menus to arrive or for us to pay. However, the server was very friendly and well-informed about the food and its ingredients.

We ate there; we know the restaurant from Turkey, but to be honest, it has nothing to do with the Big Chefs in Turkey. The service was very poor, and the food was cold. The location was fantastic, but everything else was very bad. Unfortunately.

We both ordered the simit with a fried egg and "Mediterranean vegetables." The latter consisted of a salad with cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices, simply drizzled with vinegar. Inedible. The simit itself was okay. But at almost €9, it was outrageous.

We were greeted rudely right from the start. The menus were thrown onto the table without a word. Unfortunately, our table and glass were also dirty. The food was mediocre. The falafel was overcooked. We wanted to try something new and experience the concept with the robot waiters, but were ultimately disappointed. The service, in particular, was incredibly unfriendly, and therefore we absolutely cannot recommend this place!

The person was casual, there were leftovers on the table that you could scrape off if you were still hungry 😁🙄 We ordered drinks which they forgot even though it wasn't busy. The food was okay, the portion was adequate. The restaurant is fine for a lunch break.

Shopping day, we stopped for lunch at this establishment, we chose a curry dish / rice and breaded meat / fries, it was quite good and well garnished, but we regretted not being able to get pizzas 🍕 or the associated dishes.

I recently visited Big Chefs in Frankfurt (MyZeil) and would like to offer some honest, yet constructive, feedback. The location is really nice, and the restaurant's concept has potential – the ambiance is inviting, and the food was decent, though nothing particularly special. However, what I found somewhat disappointing was the service and the overall cleanliness. Although it wasn't very busy, no one initially showed us to a table, which seemed a bit disorganized. Furthermore, some dishes listed on the menu were unavailable – presumably due to a lack of ingredients. This was a shame, especially if you've already chosen something. The overall impression of hygiene was also rather mixed: some of the menus were torn and not particularly clean, and there were also small bits of food left on the tables. While the service robot is an interesting idea, it unfortunately didn't give a particularly hygienic impression either. Dirty glasses and cutlery further marred the overall experience. I generally dislike writing negative reviews, but I want this to be understood as constructive feedback – with a little more attention to cleanliness and organization, a visit here could be truly pleasant. The potential is definitely there, but there's currently room for improvement.

Last year (2024) we were there and the pizza was fantastic, so we wanted to show it to our friends, but this time… instead of a pizza, we were served half a tarte flambée. The food was awful and the selection even worse. The quality has gone from 10/10 to -10/10. NEVER AGAIN, save your money and time. We waited 20 minutes for a table, 15 minutes for our order to be taken, and 20 minutes for the food.

As for the food, sorry, it was unacceptable. To the owner: beautiful shop, great atmosphere, you have so much more potential, you just need to work on it. There was already a bad review about the salad; we didn't eat half of it because it was already brown, etc.

Close your doors or give work to those who really need it. I don't recommend this place; you'll just waste your time. Move on and go somewhere else.

It was a complete disappointment. Nothing like the food we had in Turkey. The portions were very small. We ordered pide with eggplant and minced meat, waited 45 minutes for the food, and then it was a complete letdown. The food wasn't warm. The eggplant pasta was from a jar (you could taste it immediately), and you would have needed a magnifying glass to find the minced meat. There was absolutely no seasoning. We also ordered Pide Anatolia, and the sucuk was the worst sucuk you could possibly get in Germany. Overall, the taste was a 2 out of 10.

We were there today at 7 pm, normal dinner time, and they seriously tried to tell us that 80% of the dishes couldn't be offered – a bad joke. It was also quite loud and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, that was our last time there.

We were a group and ordered tea and coffee. The coffee wasn't prepared correctly (a latte without milk), and the black tea was so diluted it was unrecognizable. Very disappointing... The ambiance and music earned it a second star.

It's an excellent choice because it offers a wide variety of dishes, including pasta, burgers, and Turkish and Indian food. The service is fantastic, and it's also very entertaining to watch the robots drive around delivering food and drinks and even sing "Happy Birthday" to you.

I've never been so disappointed by a restaurant. The service is catastrophic: No one cares about the guests, waitresses run around aimlessly, and our waitress did practically nothing. We had to wait forever to even get a table – even though the restaurant was almost empty. The food arrived cold because apparently no one cared that it had to be served. Long waits, ignored guests, and a service that is completely overwhelmed or disinterested – I've never experienced anything like it. Anyone who goes here is wasting time, money, and nerves. Absolutely not recommended.

A lovely restaurant with tables by the window, creating a great atmosphere. It's ideal for stopping by with friends for a drink and a light dinner. The atmosphere is great, but the service is inconsistent—sometimes the waiter isn't interested in the tables, others are happy to ask questions. It's definitely worth stopping by for a quick break.

Breakfast for 2 people is sufficient for MAXIMUM one person. Why is there only 1 croissant, 1 mini pretzel, and 1 mini simit for a breakfast for 2 people? Bread is charged separately... too expensive for the food.

We ate there for the first time yesterday. The ambiance and view were quite nice. The food was good, but not great, as the lentil soup barely tasted of anything. One negative point, I think, is that the tables by the window have a gap, and there were dirt, like food scraps, there. That shouldn't be allowed, which is why I only gave it 3 stars for service and ambiance.

Brief summary. My colleagues' portions were okay (the feta with bread was a bit too small), but otherwise OK. The taste was also quite good. I had the loaded fries with guacamole (which, by the way, tasted like supermarket guacamole. No comparison to homemade!!!!!) and sour cream or some other white cream, which didn't really add much flavor. The fries were already soggy when I got them, and the cheese was already stuck to the edge of the plate. The worst insult, however, was the waitress, who criticized us for not leaving a tip, saying that tipping was customary in this restaurant. 1. I'm a student and on a limited budget. 2. I like to tip if I'm satisfied with the quality and service. 3. It was clear from the start that the waitress was clamoring for tips. Delivering bad food and bringing wet wipes to the table without the customer's request or interest is nice, but unnecessary. None of us were interested and were very confused. 4. Tipping is not mandatory in Germany. The quality was definitely not up to par, and the service was okay, but nothing special. Therefore, I found the male waitress's snappy behavior after paying very rude. Conclusion: Frankfurt offers a wide range of culinary options and some very good restaurants. This is not one of them.

I made a reservation online, but I haven't received a confirmation. I haven't received a rejection either. I've been trying to reach them by phone for two days. At least 50 times, at all hours of the day. No one answers. Very poor service. Please remove the phone number if you don't have one.

The ambiance was inviting, the food wasn't outstanding, but OK. HOWEVER: The service was terrible, even though it wasn't particularly busy. The waiter didn't even come to the table proactively, used glasses and plates weren't cleared away, and you had to pack your own takeaway food. This was my first and last time here.

Simply awful...it really looks good from the outside...I've been there several times...but the last two times it's been a no-go...you're ignored...some tourists who probably paid more are given priority.... Disastrous espresso...no crema...I asked for a new one...no spoon...no sugar...the espresso stood too long again...no more dessert, the waitress said...all in all, it's not worth it anymore...anyone who brings an espresso without a spoon and sugar and then says I don't know how to serve you shouldn't be let loose on the guests... A shame...but definitely only 1 star for such a poor performance.... I think with the right staff, something can be done here...My criticism is constructive and not personal... We had breakfast for two people. The rolls, sesame rings, and the croissant (yes, a croissant for a two-person breakfast) were still warm and delicious. For €35, there was unfortunately too little of everything (especially the baked cheese and sausage, as well as the mozzarella and feta). Instead, there was plenty of jam, honey, and chocolate spread... unfortunately, there were no rolls or croissants left to go with all the sweet treats. However, the breakfast tasted great. I would also like to highlight the very friendly service. Unfortunately, the table and the floor beneath it were not clean and very sticky. I would go again if I had the chance, perhaps for lunch—perhaps that will be more convincing. Overall, there's still room for improvement.

This restaurant is located in a shopping center called MyZeil. This shopping center houses the supermarket REWE and the drugstore DM, making it very convenient in Germany, where convenience stores are rare. This restaurant serves German food, or rather, offers a wide variety of dishes. When I asked for takeout, they said they would ask the manager, so I had to wait a little while. The manager was very kind and agreed to my takeout. The menu has pictures, so it's easy to understand even for Japanese people. I bought a Frikadellen Bowl for €18.50. Frikadellen are flat-bottomed meatballs. A German dish. It was packed with vegetables and served with couscous instead of rice. It was delicious, but the portion was too much for Japanese people. The hamburger looked delicious, too!

I used to be a waitress myself, and there were 4-5 servers (plus a robot), which I think was perfectly adequate for the number of guests, so I suspect a system/management failure. The food was mediocre to poor for our taste. My chicken in lemon garlic sauce was completely over-salted. My partner's curry was pleasantly spicy but otherwise lacking in flavor. At least they followed the instruction for the hummus, which meant that the chickpeas and halloumi were served in separate bowls. The statement that there is a children's menu or children's dishes is incorrect; there are neither. In general, I don't find the menu particularly child-friendly. Overall, neither the food nor the shop tour made a convincing impression on us, so we will refrain from a second visit.

A margarita pizza that doesn't taste good. Extremely slow and inadequate service, and "disgusting" sodas. On top of that, you have to wait forever for the food, and then it's not even warm, but cold! A disgrace! It's absolutely not worth a visit.

I chose this place, which I have been to before, for dinner. Everything was fine, the staff was friendly. However, the managers should be more careful, the newly opened tables are being taken by force and the staff should be improved with training. Thank you, a chef.

Big Chefs offers delicious, authentic Turkish dishes with a warm atmosphere. The food is full of flavor, grilled meats, and fresh bread are excellent! But what truly made the visit special was our waiter Kadir. His attentive, friendly service and genuine hospitality turned a great meal into a memorable experience. Super Kids-friendly atmosphere and Cat-Robot of course:) Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the food is VERY EXPENSIVE. You have to pay EXTRA for fries with the burger. The burger is also very SMALL. Outrageous. Other meals come with the side dishes. BUT you have to look carefully, because not everything comes with side dishes. You have to pay extra for many things. And if I saw correctly: no pork. Plus, NO AIR CONDITIONING. It was scorching hot yesterday! You can hardly go there in the summer!

We've been here twice already, the first time for the food and the second time for dessert and drinks. It's highly recommended, especially for robots, in-betweeners, and those with children, but unfortunately, there isn't much choice, and the taste isn't great either.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, but unfortunately, the food and coffee did not meet my expectations. I ordered the Bagel Breakfast along with a regular coffee. The coffee arrived about 10 minutes before the food, and it tasted like overly bitter instant coffee—undrinkable, to be honest. When I asked, if it was instant coffee, the waiter simply said, “We don’t have that.”, which I doubt. When the breakfast finally came, I was surprised to find two halves of simit instead of a bagel. I pointed this out to the waiter, who told me they didn’t have bagels available. I asked why this wasn’t mentioned when I placed the order, and he just apologized.

I was there the other day, as I often am, for a juice and this time also for a Caesar salad, which had a bit too much sauce (some people like it that way, I prefer a lighter one, I should add), but I've been there a few times for breakfast and it's always been great. I also really like bringing German friends here when I want to show them this Turkish, tapas-style breakfast. I can recommend this chain to everyone, even in Turkey, where I also like to visit them.

Yesterday I was in your establishment, one young bartender named Andrey, served us perfectly, made great cocktails, with excellent serving, everything was done very quickly and incredibly professionally, it was very pleasant to watch him work, 100% we will return to this establishment again

Initially I was a bit worried because the Google rating was not high. But since it was rather stylishly decorated, we decided to give it a try. The experience turned out to be quite good. The menu was quite original, with a fusion of Asian and Western cuisine. Overall, the food quality was ok, and the portions were big. There was a robot delivering the food, and when the waiters were busy, you had to pick up your own dishes. While the restaurant itself is ok, mind the exorbitant parking fee of the shopping mall where the restaurant is located, which charges a ridiculous 5 Euro an hour that add to the total bill of spending.

We chose it because it was open on Sunday. The spread breakfast is delicious. The sausage and unlimited tea are tempting. You can choose a window seat because the view is magnificent.

Overall, the visit was positive, except that the music was way too loud. I asked the staff about it, but they ignored it! Very sad, so no tip. The drinks were delicious! The view was very nice. P.S.: Tips are only given for service. The robot urgently needs cleaning; there's dirt everywhere. Sad that only positive feedback is responded to!

I wanted a children's portion of lentil soup. It cost €2. It suited me perfectly, but the employee told me it was only for children. Yes, I wanted something a little cheaper for €2, and I recommend you don't go there.

The view is good, but that comes with the location. The decor is comfortable. We only had a quick bite to eat, and it was perfectly fine. The price is okay for a big city. But (and this is unfortunately becoming more and more common in restaurants), why aren't the tables wiped, and why do guests have to clean up the crumbs left by the person in front of them? And why is the delivery robot just so dirty? What's too much to ask, to take a rag and just clean everything to feel good? That's simply part of the service! Sorry, but I can get really upset about that, because it just doesn't work! And unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't have its own restroom, so you're sent to the communal restroom. And that's the next topic. I don't even want to go into what it's like there with so many people. All in all, the visit was OK, but if you value cleanliness, it was probably just a mess that day. Whether it's the same on other days is for others to judge. We won't be coming back when we're in Frankfurt. Best wishes and all the best!
