I somehow end up eating it every time. The taste is heavy but the portion size is not too large, so it's perfect for when you want something lighter.

Beware, the ordering terminal is a rip-off! It asks for "extra dip," and they don't mean an additional dip on top of the one that should be included with the fries. They mean they want any dip at all, not an extra one. It's a blatant rip-off, charging almost €7 for simple fries, when virtually every other fast-food place includes at least one dip in the price. Because of the misleading ordering process, I absolutely do not recommend this place, even though the food itself is actually good. Then, of course, I had to wait almost 15 minutes for a simple order of fries, even though I was practically the only customer in the place, which almost made me miss my train. Due to the resulting time pressure, complaining or ordering an extra dip was impossible.

Wow, how incredibly bad can you make fries when you name your entire place after them? Soggy, not a hint of salt, no crunch. Instead, they were dripping in oil – and yet had no texture and weren't even warm. I had specifically ordered pickled onions as a topping (70 cents extra), which couldn't have been more disgusting. Ice cold, soggy, falling apart, way too sweet, and carelessly slopped onto my order in a greasy lump (in quotes, because they weren't sloppy at all). The cheese sauce was okay, but it barely had any flavor and wasn't warm. The only thing I could even remotely describe as tasty was my guacamole, for which I also paid an extra €2. And I wouldn't have paid even €1 extra for that portion. Tiny container and not even properly filled to the top. If I hadn't paid €8 (EIGHT!!!) for my meal, I wouldn't have eaten more than three bites. I've never been so angry about food anywhere that I wanted to write a Google review, but wow. Really wow. I wanted a small snack as a pick-me-up because my train was 30 minutes late, but ended up just more irritated. Never again.

Is it intentional that the cabbage in the Chicken BBQ Poutine is so watery that the dish ends up almost liquid? Aside from that, by late evening, not a single corner of this restaurant is clean. To top it all off, customers are begged from by the usual characters of the Frankfurt train station scene. It's a mystery to me why a branch was even opened in such a dubious location. The second star is for the staff: friendly and helpful despite the surroundings.

I recommend fries with currywurst. I've tried the best one!

I <3 Frittenwerk, no matter where. Pink Persian and Tijuana Street Fries are particularly great. They're also quick enough here to get something on relatively tight connections; I ordered and waited a total of less than 5 minutes. Update: Today I got the chicken version instead of the vegan Istanbul fries I ordered. Unfortunately, I didn't see it until I was on the train. Mistakes can happen, but it would be great if the employees there were extra careful with the different versions. For now, I'll only have the Tijuana fries, so there's no chance of confusing the two versions.

Food was super delicious and very friendly staff

The employee had to deal with a crazy customer (she went berserk over radishes) and still delivered excellent food! I'll definitely visit again.

I went there for the first time and got Sweet Chili Cheesy Fries for €5.70. The portion was okay, but the price was a bit high for what it was; €5 would have been ideal, I think. I wouldn't recommend this place if you don't like spicy food. Otherwise, everything was fine, I give it 4 stars.

I always love going there for loaded fries. The garlic fries are the best.

The Rainbow salad had too much lettuce and too little falafel

I ordered currywurst and fries. The fries were okay, and the sauce was tasty. But the sausage had been on the grill for a long time. That's outrageous for the price, and I won't be eating there again.

I've walked past Frittenwerk in Frankfurt several times and finally tried it recently. The fries were fresh, hot, not at all greasy, and truly delicious. So far, I've treated myself to the classic fries with just salt twice – perfect for a quick snack. The menu offers many creative variations, which are a bit more expensive but definitely sound interesting. Overall, I was very satisfied: good quality, friendly service, and a pleasant impression of the shop.

The food is very tasty for a few good fries (the sweet potato fries are especially recommended) with unusual toppings, this place is really not bad even if it is expensive, the service is as you would expect from a fast food stand, especially at the train station, the ambiance as well, very cozy, only very few seats and in the middle of the station hall, if you need more space and peace you can also go outside because directly in front of the station there is another frittenwerk shop on the street with more seats

We almost missed our train because it took really long and we didnt even get the right order: we ordered fries with cheese and we got only fries.

So, for someone who wants to go to the bathroom, they have to give it five stars in every way before they can go. It's an absolute disgrace. Even though the fries don't even taste good there, I still have to give it five stars.

Although this branch is supposed to be open until 10 p.m., I found myself standing in front of almost completely closed doors at 9:10 p.m., and the employee told me they were unfortunately out of fries today and I should come back tomorrow. What good is that if I'm short on fries today? Really annoying, since the branch on Kaiserstraße regularly closes at 9 p.m., meaning they're out of delicious Frittenwerk fries today... really?! :-(

Came as an open minded tourist wanting to try something new. Food was alright but damn this place give of bad vibes, or just the whole neighbourhood itself, felt like I was gonna get stabbed any moment, the people around the area is not friendly at all and will even yell or spit at you, had a very bad time in this area and this place, the food was alright but would not recommend because of the bad atmosphere. Felt more like I was in Bagdad than Germany.

This restaurant offers a variety of potato dishes, with vegetarian options available. There are vending machines for easy ordering, available in several languages. There are several tables inside, or you can take out.

The Frittenwerk location at the main train station is definitely the lowest point of the whole thing. Three people behind the counter. Two of them are watching the third person. The third person moves at a snail's pace through their "territory", slamming the ingredients onto plates. All of this is accompanied by a bored expression, which is embellished by demonstrative gum popping. The lady in front of us had a card slammed in her face because the question could not be answered due to a lack of language skills. Neither German nor English came out of the gum-popping mouth. The lady left, it was our turn, we fared no better, so we left too. Anyone who can find something positive here either had different staff or their expectations are not high.

I once ordered the Tuuana Fries, Chili Cheese Fries, and Churros with Chocolate Sauce. I have nothing to complain about the service or the ambiance, but the most important thing is the food. Personally, I didn't like any of it, and the churros were very hard and tasteless. But that doesn't mean others might not like it.

Today I visited Frittenwerk in the main train station for the first time and ordered churros, which I personally found too sweet. The atmosphere is in keeping with the surroundings.

The food was delicious, as always. When I was there, however, it was a bit chaotic, even though nothing was happening. The manager walked around the whole time with headphones in one ear, which I really don't like. There was a cell phone on the counter before I arrived, and it was still there when I left. Very unhygienic.

The Fritzenwerk is a showcase of upscale fast-food cuisine. The fried potato strips are obviously fresh and made from real potatoes, a counterpart to the standardized, standardized potato at McDonald's. The ambiance is similarly rustic, while the selection of upscale fast-food dishes is delicious. The selection of vegan dishes is constantly growing, and the playful churros, as a counterpart to the heartiness of the main courses, truly deserve their reputation as gourmet snacks. The chefs in this atmosphere are friendly and helpful, yet discreet. As an undecided newcomer, there's no shame in taking a long time to study the menu. Ordering can be done electronically, but can also be done verbally. The flavors don't disappoint. And even as a die-hard vegan, I think, "How can this vegan meat look so deceptively real?" All in all, a true delight and recommended for anyone who can afford to pay a little more than the sandwich or pasta box next door. Still fair considering the excellent quality.

Wow, I just ordered planted steak poutine and the dish is world-class. If I didn't know better, I'd say it's real meat. It's incredibly delicious!

I had fries with vegan currywurst. The sausage itself was very tasty. However, the sauce was a bit bland, and the fries were below average (they were swimming in grease). Sausage 4 stars, fries 2 stars. Sauce 2.5 stars.

For the price, you expect delicious, high-quality food. The fries are too greasy, and the guacamole dip is completely lacking in salt or spices, and tastes like nothing at all.

I ordered €22 for fries with chicken swarma and avocado balls, or whatever you call them. The machine didn't give me the receipt for picking up the food. The employee then yelled at me, saying it wasn't his problem. When I got my food, I was told I was out of luck.

The ambiance and location are excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Ordering was easy, and the food was served promptly. Unfortunately, I didn't like the taste at all. The curry sauce was very spicy—perhaps I'm a bit sensitive, but I've never tasted anything like it before. The fries were also, unfortunately, only mediocre. I also find it a bit of a shame that it's self-service.

Its location in the main train station makes it super easy to reach, and it has long opening hours. Love the fries with mushroom cream sauce. Get the garlic fries with it! Absolutely delicious. So far, the staff have always been super friendly, and it's easy to order from the vending machines. I also like that there are always pictures of the dishes, so you know what the names mean and what you can expect. I've eaten here several times. Today they even got two churros on the house. I was told that the fries taste particularly good here, but after trying them for the first time I was more than just disappointed. The fries were very weak, the vegan mayo tasted worse than rancid butter and the ketchup was full of lumps. In short, tried it once and guaranteed NEVER again.

Chicken balls filled with avocado and a guacamole dip were very tasty even though I couldn't eat them until they were cool. Recommended as a light snack between meals and it only took 5 minutes from ordering to receiving as they were freshly prepared. Very friendly staff. TOP!

The service is unfriendly, doesn't understand the technology and then, without gloves, loads me up with the smallest portion of (cold) fries I've ever seen at Frittenwerk. To make matters worse, there was a thick, black, curly hair in the food. All this for 10€. Well cheers.

I was in Berlin for the first time at the Frittenwerk and was thrilled. Then I see the Frittenwerk in Frankfurt at the main station and thought, yum, I'll get something. I decided on BBQ pulled pork poutine again. Unfortunately the food was not very warm and not spicy. There should be a base seasoning.

All in all, it deserves three stars. The restaurant is clean, as are the toilets and the automatic ordering process is simple and easy. The friendliness of the employees depends on the day. What is more serious, however, are the price increases in connection with the ever smaller portions.

If you are not from the area and you are looking for a place to eat quickly you have to try this place, it has screens so it is very easy to order or if you prefer, they surely also speak in English. What I ordered was super delicious and I'm glad I didn't go to other options like burger or McDonald's.

We didn’t hesitate to stop and were not disappointed! The currywurst with fries was absolutely tasty, but what really made the difference were the vegan churros. A real delight, not to be missed!
