Narrow corridors and confusing.

An Ikea in the middle of the city and not on a green field. Personally, I think it's great and I regularly go to the canteen here, which serves well-known Swedish delicacies.

Ikea Altona. I was there yesterday, wanted to get cushions for my kitchen chairs, I went to the sofa sets, there are also niches there, there were 4 young people sitting inside on the cell phone with their cell phones, I passed it, seconds later someone threw it at me a pillow in the back where I thought I was in the wrong film. There was no Ikea employee in sight or on site where I could complain. It's not normal for something like this to happen. Sorry, I'll never enter the store again.

Exhibits and baskets with goods were not placed together, and a basket was not found at all. Articles on the web could only be found on site after 10 minutes of searching for employees. At the goods issue I stood with my little cart full of goods, two more were placed in front of me, each with 25kg of cabinet parts each 2.30m long. I could have used help with reloading, the employees were watching, or not. Today: no brilliant performance!

What I particularly like about this IKEA is that it is easy to get to by car, on foot and by public transport. Otherwise large and well sorted!

Unfortunately there hasn't been breakfast for a long time, lunch is unfortunately very limited (only 5 different ones to choose from) and the opening times haven't changed to the advantage of the customers, which is a shame.

Kitchen ordered. With assembly service. But they can't get it installed, don't really know what they're being asked to do, are unfriendly and incompetent, saw the worktop in half and otherwise just mess up and leave without having accomplished anything. I've never experienced anything like that. Then you sit there without a kitchen and can't reach anyone on the phone. The kitchen department (after all, you can reach someone there by email and they are nice and helpful) then sends you to customer service, and after another hour of waiting, customer service sends you to the so-called service department (which can only be reached in writing). And they then send you standard e-mails that you can expect a longer waiting time due to overload. So you don't have a kitchen for days (weeks?), even though everything is paid for, including installation. Actually a case for the consumer advice center. One wonders why Ikea works with such assembly companies, why no one can be reached by phone and why they can't take care of things more quickly in such cases. Big warning!

I love IKEA. However, the customer service was not what I had anticipated in that branch. Customer certainly does not come first, I had the pleasure to experience this on two separate occasions. It was the floor manager that was the problem. 1st occasion had to do with stock, and second that he wouldn't open a second cash register though customers we queuing for 25m and he was standing next to it.

I think a lot is good. But what's not possible is that IKEA is clearing virgin forests in Romania (not plantations)!!!

The store is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than conventional Ikea stores, but the range is still huge. We got through the checkout about 30 minutes after the store closed (but mind you, we were in line on time), but all of our items were handed out to us at the goods counter without any problems and everyone always remained friendly. The only way into the parking garage is torture, if you're prone to motion sickness it's better to get out first 😉 The kitchen planning team is also very pleasant and competent, we had a lot of fun here.

I find the Ikea in Altona tidier than in Schnelsen. It looks tidier and more appealing in all respects. The staff are always polite and helpful. The prices are of course unbeatable.

For example, 65 of the lamps should be in stock. In fact, there wasn't one there. The gentleman from the department said he would delete them (since they didn't exist). According to the latest information, Ikea Altona still has 65 packs. Theater at the box office because the prices weren't right, parking was also difficult. Some good furnitures, some overpriced, however what stands out the most is the bad CS, or rather careless, as in you get what you see and i don’t care attitude, which isn’t really what you would expect from such established business…i guess my expectations were high because the amazing CS quality i experienced in Amazon. All in all, Delivery is too slow, expensive and CS was the final straw, will avoid buying here in the future.

The first and last time Ikea Altona. The parking garage is ok. The toilets could be cleaned, the staff I met seemed annoyed with me, the cash registers were far too open and there was no indication that someone had to release the parking ticket somewhere. The 3€ parking fee was a disgrace if I was already shopping there and the first few hours should at least be free be.

It's rare that an IKEA is in the pedestrian zone. Ideal for browsing and eating Köttbular. Unfortunately the coffee was very thin. 😢

Unfortunately it was empty. The Ikea was tidy and sorted, but you quickly get lost and are not guided through the store as nicely as in other Ikeas. The warehouse is probably a bit smaller and a lot of things were not in stock. The parking garage is the biggest problem for me. When I go to Ikea, I usually go to Moorfleet. There is a huge parking lot here. This time, however, I thought - I still have to go to the city anyway, so this time I'll go to Altona. First we ate in the restaurant, then we strolled through Ikea and everyone knows - that takes time. After 4.5 hours we finished eating and shopping. Afterwards we loaded the car and went into town, where we strolled around and ate ice cream and wanted to go home after about 8 hours. Cost for the parking garage €24? A lost parking ticket costs “only €15”. It used to be free for customers - we just shopped here for €800. I won't do that again. Then I'd rather drive back to Moorfleet and park for free and then drive into town and park for free with my electric car. I can only recommend this Ikea if you are in Altona anyway and just want to buy a little something quickly.
