The hotel runs anti-male ads on Instagram. The PR department reacts to criticism of this with jokes about it. Whether these are simply poorly (or not at all) trained employees or whether this is intentional - it is definitely not possible. Under no circumstances should someone like that be entrusted with public relations work, especially since no one finds the sentence "We are looking for five hard-working men or one woman" funny)...

Super friendly, funny staff. As a guest with a child you feel very well looked after. When we checked in, the lady even came along to check the room again. Free parking spaces in the yard. Delicious breakfast. The room was huge, modern and very clean. We'd love to come back.

We stayed there for a family celebration. It was very comfortable and, above all, warm there. Very loving service. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and varied. The only drawback is that not all rooms are barrier-free. Minibar prices are very inexpensive, which is a really nice exception in Germany. Overall, highly recommended!

We booked a room in this hotel based on the description on the homepage and chose a suite. As a comment, we added that we would like a quiet room and a consistent mattress, which is now actually "standard" in higher-quality hotels. We were kindly informed by email that we were recommended to rebook into a "comfort double room", as this is in a quiet location and has a larger bathroom including a bathtub and a full-length mattress. We decided to accept this offer. Until we arrived, we were really "positive" about the attention from the hotel. But things were to turn out differently, something we have never experienced before. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted. After we moved into the room, we discovered, shockingly, that the room has a balcony where the neighboring room can stay at the same time. So you have an unexpected visitor from your neighbor while you are lying on the bed. In addition, the ashtrays on the outside balcony were full of cigarettes from the previous room tenant. Privacy absolutely out of place. No separation protection or information about this can be found on the homepage. If we had known this, a booking would not have been made. The fan in the bathroom runs so loudly that it is really annoying. Especially after a long car journey, you just wanted to relax a bit, but this was unfortunately impossible due to the surrounding "Marktkirche" as the "gong" was constantly ringing. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a hotel room, this is unfortunately completely impossible and we cannot recommend it in any way. When we decided to leave this hotel and check out again the same evening without sleeping there, we experienced something that cannot be remotely excused and one wonders where this employee may have received her training in the hotel sector, if she even has such a thing training has. At the reception we expressed our wish to check out again and another employee took our room card and said that the room had already been paid for and that the price for breakfast, which had not yet been invoiced, would of course not be charged because we did not have this service claim. I asked for an invoice via email. There was no question as to why you wanted to check out again. Also no farewell from the employee. When we were on our way home a short time later, my credit card company reported a charge on the breakfast price. I immediately asked the hotel via email and was told "You have agreed to a debit". When I asked my partner again to be sure, she said that we had not agreed to this in any way. The amount was then credited back by the hotel after my complaint and the email did not contain a signature with the name of the employee because she was apparently aware that this was a major "misconduct" on her part. Especially in a 4* hotel, a different service should be at the forefront. We cannot recommend this hotel due to the price and the on-site services. Unfortunately, the advertising slogans on the homepage don't even begin to correspond to the truth!

Actually there is little to complain about this hotel. However, the lady at the reception unfortunately left a very bad impression. She dealt with guests who spoke to her before us and complained that it had taken them an hour to get to the 🏨 - I didn't know the reasons - rather rudely. She couldn't find a form that I had signed and demanded 40 euros more than the colleague I checked in with. Here too, primarily a sloppy demeanor. In order to finally have peace of mind, I paid the 40 euros+. I have never encountered such an occurrence.

I was in Hsmburg for work and spent five days there. I didn't have to pay for an unmade bed, just a side note. My room was spacious and very clean and I felt very comfortable. The breakfast is rich and fresh, everything is available from fresh cold cuts, juices, muesli, salmon, fresh fruit and much more. The staff is very attentive, polite and helpful, whether at reception or at breakfast. However, the breakfast time should be increased to at least 10 a.m. I missed breakfast once, but even though it was my own fault, everything was done so that I didn't have to start the day hungry. Many thanks again to the friendly and very attentive service staff. 🙏.. I was very satisfied with my stay there and would check into this hotel again at any time.

Very nice hotel in the middle of Poppenbüttel. Very nice rooms although not all of them have been renovated. The employees are super nice and very attentive.

Hotel with very nice rooms and mostly friendly staff. We really liked the breakfast buffet, there was a fine and sufficient selection. We'd love to come back.

So for a hotel with these texts on the website, my stay was absolutely disappointing in terms of price-performance ratio. The apartment is absolutely carelessly prepared. It smells of fragrances, 1 espresso tab, no water, 2 x fruit tea in a 65 sqm apartment for 170 euros. Absolutely no sense of how the customer feels. Conclusion: if you write texts like this and are a 4-star store, it has to be much better trained and coordinated. I'd rather go to a Motel One, or go full speed to the Fontany with a top management.

Here is closed to wealth!. Shortly before 6:00 p.m. we wanted to extend our stay in Hamburg and book a room in this hotel. This hotel was recommended to us by friends. Booking was no longer possible online. We then called the hotel. The lady on the phone then explained to us that her booking system was already closed, but that we could come by. The room should then cost €165 instead of the €110 online price for manual booking. We can do without such hostile behavior towards guests.

Service was very disappointing, we were there for a long time and not once were we asked if everything was OK or greeted in a friendly manner. Even if someone was at the reception, they didn't even look up. At around 6 p.m. there was hardly anyone to be found in person. There was a strong smell of food/toilet several times in the hallway, not pleasant. Not child-friendly, our children were ignored and we were looked at strangely when we went to our room with our bags and children. Not recommended.

Small nice hotel. The rooms are all individually and sweetly furnished. The staff was friendly and even brought coffee to our room. We'd love to come back

No disabled parking space!!! Our room 106 can ONLY be entered with light, even when the sun is shining. A dark hole and therefore completely overpriced. Only for people who want to get depression. Unfortunately a change was not possible.

Very far outside. Small bathroom. Friendly staff. But all in all it was pretty good. The bathroom is very similar. The shower and toilet are very close to each other. We stayed in the house for 1 night on business at OMR time, a late check-in was possible without any problems. My colleague reported ants in the room, I didn't have that problem. The breakfast was varied and good. If you arrive thirsty at night, you have no choice but to raid the minibar.

I was at an event there. The lady at the reception was very nice, but if you can't even get water from the hotel for 6 hours and have to buy everything yourself, I think that's an absolute nonsense. The fact that there wasn't even anything to eat and we weren't even allowed to eat in the room was an absolute NO GO! Then you could at least have something to eat upstairs, a small buffet, but not even that. I had to eat outside in the cold! Like a dog! And that in a 4 star hotel. It's a good thing that I don't have to rely on hotels here since I live here, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because of the miserable service that wasn't even there!

We had breakfast with our (hotel) guests. Unfortunately it was a complete failure. The nice waitress apologized several times, but why doesn't the house plan better? There were 2 groups registered, each with 20 people plus other hotel guests…. Then I know roughly how much coffee etc. is needed! Unfortunately everything was missing! Not recommended! Since this is not the first time these incidents have been posted, I unfortunately have to assume that the hotel management is not interested in feedback. Then why rate it?

Überteuert und Enttäuschend! Ich habe hier beruflich bereits mehrfach übernachtet. Mein letztes Besuch, führt zu dieser Bewertung. Ich habe ein Zimmer im EG bekomme, ein schlafen mit offenem fester war nicht möglich. Zigarettenrauch zieht ins Zimmer, da andere Gäste vor dem Eingang der Hotels rauchen. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer wirkt auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hier ist seit meinem ersten Besuch vor 6 Jahren nichts passiert. Die Rezeption ist Nachts nicht belegt, dies hatte bei unsrem Besuch nachts zu Größen Problemen geführt. Beim Frühstück war keine Milchalternative verfügbar am Samstag morgen. Diese war aus. So etwas ist heutzutage für mich inakzeptabel!!! Generell ist das Frühstück Basic und wirklich nichts Besonderes. Für Vegetarier und Veganer ist das Angebot sehr schwach.
