I would like to thank Marco for helping us a lot with planning our kitchen and finding solutions. He is a friendly person and is very knowledgeable about many details.

Great food and service. Make sure to eat before 7pm / 19:00 as the restaurant closes early.

Little going on during the week

Since I'm often in the old federal states, I don't think the selection in Chemnitz is that good.

A slightly smaller Ikea, but still a diverse range! The hot dog stand was quite dirty.

Searched for new kitchen furniture and found it. Here you can let ideas take effect and implement them straight away. It was nice...as always

Easily accessible via the adjacent motorway (A72) and there are plenty of parking spaces available. All sorts of choices on two floors. Always friendly, helpful staff.

I am almost exclusively an online customer. And everything is fine there. Friendliness, everything was TOP. But if I have to go through the entire house.....

I find it impossible that dogs are now tolerated in the store. I thought I was going to a furniture store and not the zoo! Cheers to all allergy sufferers.

Lots going on in parking spaces too. You could take an example from the Centrum Galerie parking garage in Dresden. There are LEDs installed above the parking spaces so you can see where something is free and you don't have to wander around for long.

Seems very small and clumsy. The food was a disaster, everything was almost cold. And the hot dog was also a disaster. Built far too small. As well as the toilets, 2 pieces. This means queuing for a very long time with children. Unfortunately we didn't find what we were looking for either. We prefer to continue driving to Ikea Leipzig

The Saxon idiots cannot park their shopping carts properly on the sloping parking deck. Carts rolled into the car door while we were shopping. Thanks, we now have a dent in the door.

Great local food, delicious in-house restaurant, great ball pit for the children. It's simply cult.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my kitchen purchase. The agreed delivery date is only a guide. If you had known something like this beforehand, you would be more likely to have the kitchen delivered. Then you don't even receive compensation, even though you have planned a week's vacation to build the kitchen. I'm incredibly disappointed. That was the last Ikea purchase

Many model apartments were renovated and changed to present the furniture. It's worth taking a look again.

Last Saturday we were at IKEA in Chemnitz and it was really full - absolute crowds. You had to wait in a long, uncomfortable line at the restaurant. However, the team on site had this well under control: there was enough staff so that the queues still moved along quite quickly. A big annoyance, however, was that I wanted to buy a cupboard, but the body was suddenly no longer available on site, even though it was shown online that it should be there. This was very frustrating and in hindsight I probably would have been better off using Click & Collect - a lesson I learned from it. I also found the new regulations at Småland very disappointing. You can only check in the children via a PC instead of directly with the teachers or IKEA employees as usual. This is an unnecessary hurdle, especially for my son's grandparents. Despite there being fewer children in Småland, we had to wait a long time for a spot to become available - it took hours before we were able to get a spot, which is the highlight for our son of the IKEA stay. Many other parents also seemed upset about this change.

There's just everything there. Even the delicious soft ice cream 😊

Very well stocked Ikea with a good selection. Update. I had a medium problem yesterday and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I was helped quickly and easily and even though I had to wait a little while, the result was great. Thanks for the help and big praise to the Ikea service and the colleagues in the warehouse!!!

Constant shortages of some goods (i.e. no inventory) used to work much better.

Nice furniture shopping center, plenty of parking spaces available. Payment possible via self-service checkout. Large selection of furniture and decorative items. The HotDogs can only be purchased after a long waiting period at the end of the day^^

Catastrophically little space for unloading cargo ... Please come on time!!! The staff is professional. The conditions for the driver are zero

Nice Ikea, Shop & go is practical if you don't want to wait in long lines.

In contrast to Ikea in Dresden, I find the Chemnitz one rather confusing. Wasn't that enthusiastic.

The classic Ikea experience, even if this branch is a little smaller. It was relaxed, not too many people.

You have to go through the entire object. Even if you search specifically.

As always, it was packed. However, the staff is friendly.

It's very tight, of the four ramps, only 1 will do everything under repair, don't come early, there won't be a place to stand

One evening in the middle of the week was a very relaxed shopping experience

Unloading opens from 04:00. Repair work is underway, there is no place to stay. The seal is removed by IKEA employees. Colleagues, don’t be late for your fix, because late arrivals disrupt the schedule and create chaos on the roadway!

For us, Chemnitz is the closest in terms of distance. This IKEA is pretty manageable. The right size to get ideas and not be overwhelmed by the amount of them. Finally, the best part is of course the IKEA restaurant. As always, very good selection, very good food and very good prices. IKEA ALWAYS works ;-)

Actually really good. Almost everything has worked out great so far. Very friendly and helpful. Well sorted. Delivery everything went smoothly. Yes, our kitchen planner forgot a few little things and/or didn't plan them optimally. But everything could still be saved. And it worked out well in the end.

I went for two things and neither was in stock

IKEA is large and has a wide variety of products. You can receive friendly guidance from staff at the unmanned checkout.

Click & collect works great! Order and pay today - pick it up tomorrow at the desired time. And even received the goods (completely) in a very friendly manner 10 minutes early. Perfect!

Relatively narrow and very crowded on weekends, compared to, for example, IKEA Leipzig.

The range from the online shop is not fully available here. Otherwise everything is ok

I really like to take advantage of the lunch offer in the canteen (Kötbular ;) ) and charge my car at the free charging stations. Unfortunately, all charging stations are often already occupied. That's why I would like more of them, but I'm already super grateful for the ones I have. :) Best regards

Organized, clear and a prime selection

Instructions for assembling are the greatest rubbish and inaccurate down to the last detail, just like the dirty chipboard, once lightly put on it it broke apart, the dirt isn't worth it for the price.

Unfortunately, it wasn't exactly what you wanted it to be. You ask an employee a question, you are sent to the service point, they send me on to the department, there is no employee there, so you go on and ask in the neighboring department where two employees are. One looks at his computer and the other pays attention for 10 minutes. Completely annoyed, I decided to stop buying taught things.

Despite Saturday, there are free parking spaces and you can still get through the store.

We searched for a long time to find an occupied information/service point. But the staff was great.

You can always find something and my grandchildren love the restaurant.

Delicious food and drink. Unfortunately, the typical Ikea labyrinth and sometimes quite high prices for not-so-good product quality.

Very good environment. Very friendly and helpful people. Designed room and ordered here. Good and healthy food with free coffee if you have the Ikea family card.

We got what we wanted. The break in the restaurant was very pleasant. Friendly staff.

Parking good, offer good, ventilation could be better.

The only problems I have with my kitchen at the moment are at Ikea. The delivery dates are constantly changing. Problematic because one of the delivery dates should now be after the assembly date. So far no employee has been able to offer us a solution. Otherwise the shop is very reliable and I am satisfied with the furniture itself.

The IKEA is part of the Neefepark. Compared to Dresden, it is a slightly smaller market. The new registration for Småland is a complete disaster. Even though there are no children there, you have to enter the child's countless details on an electronic terminal in a time-consuming and laborious manner. Then the waiting time is given as e.g. 136 minutes. Pointless. The ladies at reception refuse any cooperation. And that despite the fact that not a single child is standing in line here. Most people probably just left because the whole process was completely pointless. You can go shopping in the meantime. Especially with the children that you didn't really want to drag through IKEA. And hand over the child AFTER shopping? Hardly. The whole thing will lead to countless parents registering first and then not coming in frustration. And produce hours of waiting time on the display. This in turn annoys those next in front of it. I recommend improvements or going back to the old system.

It has changed a lot over the years. Cleanliness of the toilets leaves a lot to be desired. We looked for toilet paper in vain. Unfortunately, 2 of the requested items were not available. Nice large parking spaces.

Ikea should be Ikea. The Ikea in Chemnitz is small, doesn't have a large warehouse, but cupboards such as one of the flagships from the Swedish furniture store, the "Billy", should ALWAYS be in stock. Ordering things via an app is still a horror. That's why 4 out of 5. The rest is just Ikea. 😀

Interesting concept if you have a lot of time to meander through the house, pick and choose what you want, then select all the stuff from the shelves and then finally get rid of your money 💰 in the umpteen rows of what feels like 100th like-minded people . But sometimes you just have to take possession of the furniture and/or decoration visually and haptically...

We have on the way through to Stopped there on holiday because we needed a charging cable. We found it immediately when we asked. Unfortunately, Scan and Go was closed. Nevertheless, the staff was very friendly even though we got in shortly beforehand. 😊

Very nice branch. Good range and attentive staff. The access is a bit tricky.

Always a nice place to go. Not as huge as other Ikeas, the checkout process (whether self-scanning or through a cashier) is quick and you always get a parking space.

You love Ikea or you don't. I just wanted to look for something and bought too much again 😉. The staff is very friendly and gives you very good advice.

UPD. The employee who behaved disrespectfully towards me was not from Ikea, but from the Ikea contractor's company. The Ikea employees contacted me and tried to help me. I hope when my kitchen is finished I will come back here and give 5 stars for the quality and work done. 09/20/24 I have been a fan of Ikea for a long time and share the company's principles and values, until I encountered terrible service quality when ordering a kitchen. Completely unwilling to meet the client, arranging a meeting within two weeks and canceling it at the last moment. Disrespectful communication with the customer on the phone and no response to the request to put everything in writing. It is a shame that Ikea Chemnitz allows incompetent employees to work who tarnish the company's image.

20 minutes in the queue, cupboard tipped over long ago

Not friendly at all. The personal was having a bad day maybe, then she yell at me and treating me so bad. Just because I want to refund something. I mean if you’re not ready to work, then stay at home. No customer need your stress. Please keep your stress for you. This lady is really a horrible person. She should not work as a customer service.

The first nightmare began in the parking lot. Then we continued in the market. Migration to the power of 10. I just wanted a small kitchen utensil, unfortunately they didn't have it. When I got out again, another eternity passed. But the staff was very friendly 😊.

Terrible as any Ikea - I hate being led linearly through a store like this... Plus point: good parking spaces for electric cars.

Ikea as you know it. We were looking for a sofa. It should be a little clearer. Unfortunately, a sofa that was in a decorated room and that we liked couldn't be found in the sofa department, nor were there any samples of the alternative fabrics on the sofa. You have to look and search a lot to find your way around. We have noticed this before with other articles. It was nice that as an Ikea family member you can consume hot drinks for free and refill them.
