It annoys me that I have to write such a review, but since there's no email support, it's just the way it is in this case. First, I was confirmed on-site that I could return an item to the furniture store, even if the packaging wasn't present, as long as I was within the 365-day return period. I was supposed to pack the item properly and bring it in. No sooner said than done. When I presented the receipt and received the item, my plans were thwarted. I was assumed to have used the item because I had unpacked it. The item showed no signs of wear, only signs of cleaning, as I naturally wanted to return the item in perfect condition and free of dust. So, my only options were to keep the item, but then I had two options, or to return the item as a second chance. In the end, I only received 50% of the actual value. It really annoys me, because the return policy is completely different online. Apart from this incident, I haven't experienced anything bad in person.

This shop should be closed down. What has happened to me so far is an absolute disgrace. I have been dealing with my complaint for two months now. Today I discovered that IKEA is trying to debit my account. I have already paid for the item I bought, and now there are additional charges. Not only are they unable to deliver a sofa, but it is being sent in parts to other locations across Saxony. Parts were delivered to Leipzig, others to Zwickau, and I had to pick some up locally. It was just one sofa, and I'm supposed to go to three locations???? This has legal consequences!!!!

We were there to buy a new kitchen. The kitchen planning was really great and well done. However, the price for the kitchen is incredibly outrageous and expensive. They're asking over €2,500 just for a standard kitchen unit without appliances. No one would accept that. It's better to work with your kitchen countertop program.

Visiting Ikea is always an interesting and engaging experience. There are always new items, even if sometimes we are disappointed for not finding the old items. The staff is very kind, even if sometimes they have little imagination. We Italians are flexible and have the ability to adapt to situations. Let me give you an example: I was looking for a white cabinet to add to the kitchen that I had already bought from Ikea. I wanted to put a small dishwasher that I already have and that is new in the cabinet. The IKEA employee I asked for information told me that they do not have suitable furniture. Instead we found a perfect solution right in the discounted objects and furniture section. Here instead we found a more flexible person. In fact the cabinet was perfect in size. However, the shelves were missing. I asked him if he could somehow find at least two. In fact, in the same section there were two shelves. Only they were a little bigger. We immediately suggested buying them anyway and cutting them. So I bought the two shelves for 10 euros.

Very disappointed! The market was fine, and the service was wonderful as always. However, I got a severe electric shock from the elevator button. When I pointed this out to an employee, she didn't want to hear it and didn't take me seriously. I'm an electrician by trade and have had to take my fair share of shocks from electrical outlets, but what I experienced at the elevator was far worse, and the employees offered no help whatsoever. Pure disappointment! Accidents can happen to even the best of people, but you should act appropriately.

Like the one in Leipzig/Halle, this IKEA is well-visited, especially since it doesn't have to be divided by two national borders xD Plenty of parking spaces, and there's also a play paradise for children. This IKEA, like all other IKEA stores, is spread over two floors: the restaurant upstairs, and the tableware and plants downstairs. On my last visit, I found everything I was looking for, even though the lines change.

Basically, it's like any other Ikea. Everyone is very friendly. BUT: I was there early evening on a Tuesday and wanted to return an item I'd accidentally purchased. I took a number... and waited. A counter was occupied. After 15 minutes, a second employee came... but probably had to boot up her computer first. Because she just sat there, but didn't shorten the line. I think it's a shame that customer time is so little valued here.

Very rude staff. We wanted to buy a wardrobe, but the bottom package couldn't be scanned at the checkout. The cashier got so annoyed and yelled at us, telling us to quickly rearrange everything so she could get better access (I couldn't do this with my injured hand, and my husband couldn't manage it alone). The cashier didn't help. Friendly customers standing behind us at the checkout offered their help. We won't go there again.

It seems as if Ikea has lost control of its logistics and warehousing. We bought a kitchen and already paid for it, but two parts were missing from the delivery, which we only noticed after inspection (the parts were even listed on the delivery note!). One part for the kitchen is no longer available, which means this kitchen would never have been sold in its original form. Now we have a kitchen with a hole in the cabinet because the front is missing and is also no longer available. Despite repeated inquiries, Ikea has provided no active support or concrete solutions. Communication is very poor, and no help is offered to resolve the issue with the missing part. It must be possible to send the missing part to Chemnitz from another nearby Ikea! Overall, a very disappointing service and an extremely bad experience. I expect more transparency and better communication in such cases, especially from a company as large as Ikea. Tip: Only buy things that are immediately in stock and avoid split orders or deliveries if at all possible.

What happened to me with the "new kitchen" was an absolute disaster... From the consultation to the installation – simply disappointing. If you want to plan a kitchen, please choose another store! Incompetence meets unfriendliness. Even one star is too much! But let's rewind to the very beginning: I went to this store one fine day (it was the beginning of March) looking for a great new kitchen for my apartment. The first visit was okay. After I made an appointment, a rough plan was drawn up – including an initial cost estimate. Everything seemed fine at first. But on a subsequent visit, I was told in an unfriendly tone why I hadn't had my kitchen measured yet?! No sooner said than done... I ignored the rude tone at this point and politely asked for an appointment for the measurements. (The best part was that the employee asked his colleague in front of me: "Do you think you can do that?" – I should have realized by then that I'd be better off investing my money elsewhere...) The measurements were taken (took at least an hour) and the next planning appointment was scheduled. But then an IKEA employee called me and asked if we shouldn't cancel the appointment – ​​the measurements probably wouldn't have provided the necessary information. Since I'd been waiting for this appointment for weeks, I went anyway. And lo and behold – somehow it worked out. So that was the first major stress – completely for nothing. Great. I honestly spent almost four (!!) hours in that IKEA, only to be told at the end: "Oops, the countertop doesn't exist..." Incredible. So many hours and nerves – for nothing! And then I was treated like I was the problem because I couldn't immediately conjure up a new color combination for the kitchen. Instead of providing competent advice on color schemes, the employee quickly became annoyed. I was close to canceling the purchase – but after all the stress and months of planning, I decided against it and picked out something new myself (!) that I could really imagine in my new kitchen. So far, so good. I went back and planned with the new color combination – until they said again: "Oops, that countertop isn't available either. And everything else in our range is sensitive to stains." Two nervous breakdowns later, I was told they couldn't sell me a kitchen. Absolutely outrageous! Then that evening, another email from the employee: It would have been possible, after all, for me to order the kitchen exactly as I wanted. What now?! I ordered the kitchen, whether I liked it or not, trusting that it was exactly the color combination I had chosen... Then a few weeks ago, I received another email, saying they hadn't calculated enough legs... I could buy them in the store... Do you really think that's service? At these prices for a kitchen, I expect a free (!) repair. The fault isn't the customer's, and making them pay for it again is sheer cheek. By the way, today was the installation: Not only were there hidden costs that were never mentioned before - defective parts also arrived. Now I have to wait again until I can finally use my kitchen! And unfortunately, that wasn't all... I didn't order the color combination that I'm now supposed to call "my kitchen." Customer service told me there was only one (!!) other alternative. What's going on with you, Ikea? Why do you have so little choice? I am absolutely disappointed with this store and will never, ever order a kitchen from there again.

The kitchen builders need the go-ahead from Ikea, but no one there feels responsible. No solution was found on site in the kitchen department itself or at the service point. A ticket was taken to the kitchen department - a call back has never been made until today (3 weeks later). No help available over the phone either. You're better off choosing a kitchen somewhere else.

Sometimes a visit to the Swedish furniture paradise feels like a little adventure vacation - with a hot dog ending.​ I was looking forward to a cozy evening with köttbullar and mashed potatoes, but the kitchen closed at 7 p.m., even though the furniture store is open until 8 p.m. A little dampener for the stomach, which had already adjusted to Swedish delicacies.​ Other than that, everything went like clockwork. The Click & Collect service worked smoothly: ordered online, picked up at the agreed time - without stress and long waiting times. The staff was also friendly and helpful, which made shopping pleasant.​ Overall, a successful visit with a small downer. For the culinary experience you should perhaps come a little earlier or console yourself with a hot dog from the bistro.

We feel more comfortable in Günthersdorf. This is partly due to the better parking situation but also to the ambience inside. It feels more spacious than in Chemnitz. I can't say much about the employees. We didn't need one because we were just getting ideas. If you know what you want, everything seems to be okay. The food is as always. Nothing new. Just IKEA.

Since I'm renovating my apartment, I've been to IKEA Chemnitz several times recently and have repeatedly noticed that the employees are not particularly friendly, but tend to be arrogant. I had a question about a sofa. The employee didn't even look me in the eyes, but stared at the computer screen with a colleague while she talked to me. When planning the kitchen, it took me three attempts until it was designed the way I wanted. The first two employees planned more for themselves than for me. I think I'd rather take the slightly further route to Dresden or Leipzig to IKEA. The atmosphere is really more pleasant there and the food (even if it is system catering) is somehow better quality.

A large, spacious wardrobe was required for my parents' new age-appropriate apartment. 09/21/19 Day of planning our PAX closet. The IKEA planning program is easy to use. After a few clicks we were completely happy. Order completed including delivery and assembly. Date 11/21/19, which after a few moments turned out to be the wrong date. So I went back two days later. Our change of date to November 13th, 2019 was kindly accepted and confirmed, with the information that we would receive the time by telephone 1 to 2 days before assembly. A week before the appointment, after checking our data, we received the statement: "Planning is underway, we have everything in sight." When there was no information on the morning of the day before assembly, I became uneasy and, as it turned out, rightly so. After what felt like 100 re-election attempts, finally a natural person on the phone. No planning yet, we'll get in touch. When I explained the situation and insisted on staying on the line, there was a lot of hectic activity. After 15 minutes and several contact changes, Ms. Arnold appeared on the telephone, friendly, personal, goal-oriented and solution-oriented, simply Saxon. It doesn't matter whether it's employee fault or IT error. We have her to thank for our renewed faith in the IKEA system and our punctually assembled PAX. After handing over the goods at the counter, my clothes were so dirty that I wanted to punch the "lady" at the counter. It was a disgrace to hand over a box like that. If you don't see much dirt on the box, it's on my clothes.

These days, companies are too busy to talk to you, and IKEA is no different. They are too stingy to hire enough staff, so if you have any questions you as a customer are either out of luck or have to stay on the phone for at least half an hour to speak to someone. That's what you get as a paying customer these days. The company does not have to be happy with its paying customers, nor does it have to ensure that its paying customers receive the right service. No, we as customers these days should just be grateful that a company is willing to invest time and money in us paying customers. Sad. Even the chats are disabled. What are these days about? Definitely not about good service, that's for sure!!

I highly recommend this coffee house. We had an event at Kosmos and received a warm welcome. In the end, both the owners and we were very satisfied. Especially us, since we were given the opportunity to use the space here. Thanks again to the entire Michaelis team. We'd be happy to come back anytime.

I purchased a voucher there 14 days before the restaurant closed. Unfortunately, I wasn't informed that the restaurant would be closing soon, which I find very cheeky. I hope the information on Google is correct, that it's only a temporary closure. It would be nice if the information about the current closure and hopefully soon-to-be reopening were also available on the restaurant's website.

A nice little pub on the outskirts of Chemnitz. Beautifully situated in a small garden. The service was unprofessional and lacked consideration, so you had to ask for everything. The food was okay.

If you like rustic and rustic food, this is the place for you. The food is just like mom's, very good and plentiful. Everything is fresh and delicious. A warm corner, spicy and delicious. Something different on the menu. The price/performance ratio is hard to beat. We are thrilled. The people of Röhrsdorf. Keep it up, we'll always be happy to come back. Best regards
