It's a great place to shop in the evening. The store was almost empty, so you could browse and learn about the products at your leisure.

IKEA is IKEA, cool 👌 large parking lot, lockers for your own belongings with a code, good meatballs 👍 aromatic coffee. This motif with a belt transporting dirty dishes to the dishwasher is cool.

Big Ikea love. Smalland employees are great and everyone in the restaurant is also very friendly.

The paths are a bit confusing, but otherwise nice staff

It was a nice visit and shopping. It was a shame that the children's area was overcrowded and we couldn't give the children away.

Very nice purchase quickly after the end of work. It's always great to take a stroll through the Ilea. In terms of price, the purchase was great and it was fun.

A typical Ikea, clean, well stocked, lots of friendly employees. Extremely pleasant during the week when there are only a few customers. All in all very good, as you would expect.

Concerns the kitchen team at Ikea Chemnitz. A part was delivered to our kitchen and was supposed to be installed later. The kitchen builders need the go-ahead from Ikea, but no one there feels responsible. No solution was found on site in the kitchen department itself or at the service point. A ticket was taken to the kitchen department - a call back has never been made until today (3 weeks later). No help available over the phone either. You're better off choosing a kitchen somewhere else.

Sometimes a visit to the Swedish furniture paradise feels like a little adventure vacation - with a hot dog ending.​ I was looking forward to a cozy evening with köttbullar and mashed potatoes, but the kitchen closed at 7 p.m., even though the furniture store is open until 8 p.m. A little dampener for the stomach, which had already adjusted to Swedish delicacies.​ Other than that, everything went like clockwork. The Click & Collect service worked smoothly: ordered online, picked up at the agreed time - without stress and long waiting times. The staff was also friendly and helpful, which made shopping pleasant.​ Overall, a successful visit with a small downer. For the culinary experience you should perhaps come a little earlier or console yourself with a hot dog from the bistro.

Kitchen ordered, installation went well to OK. Bugs are still being fixed. On-site staff friendly and in a good mood. Complaints are handled competently if there are problems.

We feel more comfortable in Günthersdorf. This is partly due to the better parking situation but also to the ambience inside. It feels more spacious than in Chemnitz. I can't say much about the employees. We didn't need one because we were just getting ideas. If you know what you want, everything seems to be okay. The food is as always. Nothing new. Just IKEA.

“Expert staff” is so rude and has no idea what you would like. But collect big money and when it comes to mistakes, talk your way out of it and rather blame it on others

There can be no question of a shopping experience. You need a specific part and are sent through the IKEA labyrinth like a rat in a test laboratory. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful. However, if an employee becomes almost aggressive about my footwear (I wasn't wearing work shoes with steel toes, but was otherwise dressed like a craftsman), then this one employee ruins the otherwise positive impression of the staff.

Advertising was not possible as described on the website. Either train the staff again or describe it clearly on the homepage. The employee's statement was not logical to what it says on the advertising page.

No, if you've never been here before, you'll be shocked by the sales culture; no counter staff wanted to help you get out quickly! The signs are very high and have small labels, I felt sick and couldn't find an exit without leaving the designated street! With us you only come to the exit once you have bought something, was the answer of a proud employee! It seems to you that the employees shouldn't make things easy for you with an empty shopping bag! Never again!

It's not as crowded as other Ikeas...

Since I'm renovating my apartment, I've been to IKEA Chemnitz several times recently and have repeatedly noticed that the employees are not particularly friendly, but tend to be arrogant. I had a question about a sofa. The employee didn't even look me in the eyes, but stared at the computer screen with a colleague while she talked to me. When planning the kitchen, it took me three attempts until it was designed the way I wanted. The first two employees planned more for themselves than for me. I think I'd rather take the slightly further route to Dresden or Leipzig to IKEA. The atmosphere is really more pleasant there and the food (even if it is system catering) is somehow better quality.

What can you say... if you love Ikea?

The waiting time at customer service is miserable. It took 45 minutes from taking the number to exchanging the goods. It's too long for me.

A large, spacious wardrobe was required for my parents' new age-appropriate apartment. 09/21/19 Day of planning our PAX closet. The IKEA planning program is easy to use. After a few clicks we were completely happy. Order completed including delivery and assembly. Date 11/21/19, which after a few moments turned out to be the wrong date. So I went back two days later. Our change of date to November 13th, 2019 was kindly accepted and confirmed, with the information that we would receive the time by telephone 1 to 2 days before assembly. A week before the appointment, after checking our data, we received the statement: "Planning is underway, we have everything in sight." When there was no information on the morning of the day before assembly, I became uneasy and, as it turned out, rightly so. After what felt like 100 re-election attempts, finally a natural person on the phone. No planning yet, we'll get in touch. When I explained the situation and insisted on staying on the line, there was a lot of hectic activity. After 15 minutes and several contact changes, Ms. Arnold appeared on the telephone, friendly, personal, goal-oriented and solution-oriented, simply Saxon. It doesn't matter whether it's employee fault or IT error. We have her to thank for our renewed faith in the IKEA system and our punctually assembled PAX. These days, companies are too busy to talk to you, and IKEA is no different. They are too stingy to hire enough staff, so if you have any questions you as a customer are either out of luck or have to stay on the phone for at least half an hour to speak to someone. That's what you get as a paying customer these days. The company does not have to be happy with its paying customers, nor does it have to ensure that its paying customers receive the right service. No, we as customers these days should just be grateful that a company is willing to invest time and money in us paying customers. Sad. Even the chats are disabled. What are these days about? Definitely not about good service, that's for sure!!

After handing over the goods at the counter, my clothes were so dirty that I wanted to punch the "lady" at the counter. It was a disgrace to hand over a box like that. If you don't see much dirt on the box, it's on my clothes.

I think it's the worst Ikea in the East. Just so unspectacular, so confused, too small for the apparently high crowds, especially on the We. Many things not available. Too bad. Incredibly bad air in the entire building. But the numerous employees stand out positively. Appear motivated, friendly, cautious.

You can tell the age of the market. Smaller than others, especially in restaurants. Parking available, although more limited. But the staff were all very accommodating.

It is clean, tidy, well organized and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. The furniture is of very high quality and assembly is often simple and uncomplicated. We like coming here. Both for chewing furniture and for eating 😁😉

Although you can do your shopping quickly at IKEA, you need time because the very extensive range of goods makes you curious to buy more. If you need a break from shopping through the departments, you can go to the restaurant. Very tasty dishes await customers there. A play area in the restaurant has been lovingly set up for younger visitors.

The IKEA store in Chemnitz impresses with a good selection, attractive design and a pleasant shopping atmosphere. The furniture and home accessories are presented in an inspiring manner, and the friendly staff are always available to help. Always very busy on weekends - there is a shortage of parking spaces. The restaurant with classic IKEA specialties rounds off the shopping experience perfectly.

Great, we found the sofa we were looking for and at a great price. Everything was there and we could take it with us straight away. We also received great advice. We almost put together the wrong one.

The IKEA furniture store in Chemnitz impresses with a large selection, friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. The exhibition is clearly laid out and offers many inspiring living ideas. Particularly positive aspects are the competent advice and the fast, well-organized checkout and collection service. A visit is always worth it!

Great thing, The cabinets we wanted were not in stock as we requested. But they are delivered to our home for €20 and we have nothing to do with the transport. 😃

Not the biggest Ikea store, but everything is there, clean and the employees are friendly. The registration in the children's playland only informed us after completing the entries that there would be a free space in 67 minutes and the toilets were not up to the amount of customers.

It's still being remodeled at the moment, but it's very well organized. You have a very friendly and warm team!

Went there again after a long time and it was a complete success. Getting a lot of things for redesigning the apartment, especially things for organized storage, but also some decorations. And all at affordable prices.

Plenty of space to park and easily accessible ticket offices. The rest is standard IKEA, so great!

Despite there being a lot of people, you can get through quickly, you don't have to wait long in line at the cash register and if necessary you can also eat something. Which is okay in terms of price/performance.

Very confusing sales area, dirty elevator and toilets, it looked similar in the canteen. Items were not on the shelves as was excellent in the sales area. The hot dog stand on the lower floor looked equally unappetizing due to the dirty tables, so the visit came to a quick end. Definitely not a second visit. Then prefer Dresden or Leipzig.

The famous IKEA carrier bags are simply “indestructible”. Lots to see on two floors, followed by a small snack to let all the ideas sink in.

Well-stocked furniture store, including plants, good pricing, good food at a low price! Somewhat unclear directions between the restaurant and the furniture store. Saturday is probably not the best day to visit, no parking and very crowded. Otherwise a good experience.

If the parking deck above is full, there are still enough spaces underneath. Otherwise everything was clean and tidy. 👌

Good, compared to Leipzig, smaller IKEA on the outskirts of Chemnitz. The parking lot is a bit small and the entrance and exit is cramped and confusing. The ikea has a good stock of furniture in stock, unfortunately this is no longer normal at the moment. The high-bay warehouse is a bit cumbersome and has poorer layout than the one in Leipzig, for example. The snack bar and the space available for eating are also rather modest and quickly overcrowded, even with small crowds. However, cleanliness and order were ensured.
