Amazing hand pulled noodles at great prices. Queue outside the restaurant was long during the lunch hours but they made the waiting experience comfortable by providing Hot Tea and some rice crackers!

It was a very nice experience. The noodles are freshly made. I was expecting it as SUPER yummy taste, but for me it was just yummy. You have to go just for the experience, anyway. People are waiting in a queue for around 20 minutes to get seated, that's selfexplaining.

I'm thrilled. 🤩 You go to Munich, the bedrock of Bavarian hospitality and cuisine, and then this Asian noodle shop becomes the highlight of the day. From outside you can already see steam wafting from the shop. There is slowly a queue at the door. An employee brings warm tea for those waiting and shrimp chips. It's crowded and loud inside, with the next guests lining up their orders and waiting for a free seat. The food comes quickly and is incredibly tasty and plentiful. You feel like you've been taken away from the world on a short trip to Japan. For a brilliant fast food experience 👍🏻

Honetly not worth the hype or maybe the expectations were too high. The best part is the texture of the noodle - super chewy and satisfying. Yet the broth was nothing special, the toppings were not flavourful. The fried chicken as appetizer was also greasy and pretty bland. We had to wait in line for about 30 minutes to be seated, but the waiter was really nice and offered people tea and appetizers.

The world's best noodle soup shop at Sendlinger Tor. The whole family is happy and Lon Men noodles House on Kantstr in Berlin has to dress warmly. The waiting time is shortened with snacks and tea. Very friendly and quick service. Even if there is a line, the wait is very worth it. Great

Great store! Small menu and everything really tasty. You usually have to wait in line, but you can look forward to warm tea or gyoza as a snack, although you never have to wait long. As soon as you sit in there, the food comes in no time. Atmosphere isn't great, but you don't stay there to linger, but just to eat absolutely perfect ramen at an unbeatable price, which you can watch being made thanks to the open kitchen. Every time the perfect start to a successful evening. A little tip: Tips are not accepted here.

Authentic Chinese cuisine. Pasta that is handmade in the store. It's best to order a large noodle soup...with or without meat. I had a beef noodle soup with vegetables. Cost for a large soup: €12, normal dishes €10, starters €4. Queuing is guaranteed as the store is always full. Select your food on small pieces of paper outside...while you're waiting outside...the staff will give you shrimp chips. When it's cold...jasmine tea is served. Food then comes to the table quickly. Absolutely great. Organization 100%. Been there twice… definitely not the last time. It's great

I don't think I've ever had such good food that makes the soul happy. Delicious noodles Buttery soft meat Perfectly cooked eggs Broth that makes you forget any worries STILL GOOD TO KNOW: -It's actually always packed (and rightly so) but the slightly longer wait is absolutely worth it. You often get a small glass of green tea to shorten the waiting time :) -Food itself comes quite quickly -In the restaurant itself it is a bit cramped/noisy and there are people milling around everywhere. So not a quiet place to eat/learn/chat comfortably -Located directly at the Sendlinger Tor subway station

Super busy, the shop was already full when we visited on a Wednesday at 5:07 p.m. 🤣 The food wasn't bad at all, with a good value for money ratio. You get a good amount of pieces of meat and they are well seasoned and tender. I think the spring rolls with prawns were homemade and we enjoyed them very much (the sweet dip sauce was also very tasty). Deduction due to few vegetables (pak choi) and a short wire in the soup. The employee sincerely apologized and we are pleased with his quick response. All in all, a visit is definitely worth it and I would love to come back.

There is an open kitchen here, you can watch the chef preparing fresh pasta. Many guests receive free drinks while waiting. Fast service, lots of pasta, portions for big appetites, but no vegetables. Soup noodles are better than fried noodles. The salad with sesame dressing was quite good, but the fried chicken was too greasy

We ate tripe salad and meat noodles, they were delicious and the prices were very reasonable.

Very authentic food and service. Always very friendly and it's also great how you can watch the owner (I think) make the pasta himself. Really impressive! It's just quite small and you often have to queue if you want to eat inside, but in my opinion everyone has to decide for themselves. Otherwise, the ambience is kept quite “plain/simple”…perhaps a bit bland in terms of the furnishings. But the food is incredibly good, the soup is just so delicious and strengthening, the meat is great and the noodles are amazing!!!! Addendum: I've noticed lately that hygiene has gotten even worse. Tables are wiped with dirty and smelly rags. You feel a little uncomfortable. If I didn't love this soup so much, that would definitely be the reason why I wouldn't come back.

I'm sad because I can't eat Max's Ramen every day, I've never eaten such good noodles, we waited in line for a while because there were few seats but while we were waiting outside they offered us hot tea and fried gyoza (delicious🤤 ). Essential stop in Munich!!

And I always thought the store was just hyped because it was hyped. That's not the case. For me it's one of the best broths I've eaten in Munich, plus the homemade hand-pulled noodles and it makes for a great dish. But then the long-cooked beef, which was really ultra tender, topped it all off. Simply a super friendly little shop with its own flair. I will definitely come back 🙂‍↕️

It's been a while since I've had noodles like the ones they serve here. I ordered the beef ones and they were delicious. The only "bad" thing about it is that the restaurant is very small and there is always a long queue, apart from the heat inside.

Exactly what you expect from a legit Chinese restaurant. Tasty food, busy servers, and small spaces. Meat was tender, noodles had a nice bite to it, however the broth lacked flavor. We tried the two popular noodle soups. They gave free tea to everyone, including the people in line outside which was really nice. Good value for money for the serving size and location in Munich, cash only. Would still return on my next visit.

I find it a bit overrated, you always stand in line for a long time and then you eat in a relaxed train station atmosphere and are usually jostled while eating because the place is so crowded. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Since the noodles are made in the middle of the store, there is always something to look at. However, I think that the soups could be seasoned a little more intensely, but the portions are relatively large for being able to eat so cheaply here. Location great.

Cosy noodle place with nice service and affordable prices, it was very crowded, we had to wait in line. However the staff is really nice and they bring appetisers and jasmine tea to you for free. We had the classic beef noodle, the Mala noodles and the vegetarian. The noodles themselves were very good with a nice texture, however the overall taste was underseasoned with a lack of flavour.

Authentic Chinese noodle soup right at Sendlinger Tor in Munich At first glance, the relatively long queue in front of Max's Beef Noodles (which is actually a good sign) promises a lot of standing around and waiting for a long time. That's not the case... In a maximum of 13 minutes you can sit at your table and order. There is a reason for this that I will talk about again at the end. The relatively short wait in line is sweetened with warm jasmine tea and delicious homemade gyozas (I know it's Japanese. But that's what they're called on the menu). Of course everything is on the house. That's very friendly and thoughtful. You can choose between various starters, noodle soups and other noodle dishes (see map). As the name suggests, the noodle is the main focus at Maxs Beef Noodles. While you wait for your food, you can watch the noodles being prepared and pulled by hand. They are actually extremely tasty, which is a bit lost because of the unfortunately somewhat bland broth and the unspectacular toppings. Therefore, unfortunately only four stars for the food. The spinach salad was very tasty! The restaurant is really very authentic, which makes it a real experience. This brings me to my first paragraph: When you have finished eating, you are relatively quickly asked to vacate the place and leave to make room for the next customers. What may seem a bit rude at first glance is, however, completely normal and you shouldn't let it bother you, but rather be understanding. I would love to come back and would recommend the restaurant to all my friends.

Great authentic la mian beef noodles, very popular with Chinese tourists and diaspora alike. Always a long queue, and during a snowstorm, they kindly allowed us to queue inside instead of freezing outside.

Incredible Service and great taste with very fair prices

Actually don’t know what to say… It was ok,the actual broth didn’t have that much taste but the noodles were good.

In my opinion, this place is massively overrated. Hand-pulled noodles were tasty, but that’s it. The broth was ok, the beef was not good at all. Gyozas with chicken were ok, but they’re quite fat (deep fried). The waiters treat the outside queue with free gyozas and tea, which is nice. You’d have to wait around 15-20 minutes in the queue, there’s not so much space inside, and the furniture has noticeable signs of wear. Overall, I’d recommend to search for different noodles place, check out the one in the Galeria near Marienplatz, for example.

Very tender noodles maybe a little overcooked but the place is very full most of the time . Also for 12 yo 15 euros for the quality -service - cleanliness is a bit overpriced better at ( 8 _10 euros is recommended.) Also potion for sides are bit crazy. No way i could pay 4.50 for 3 Dumplings I wouldnt recommend going in a group as the place mostly offers singer or two pers sits.

The place mainly makes noodles with or without broth of many different types or gyoza, edamame, spring rolls and more. The noodles I had were made of meat and were really excellent accompanied by exquisite gyoza. It's also very nice to see before your eyes how the noodles are prepared! It may seem like an unkept environment but the food is really excellent at a cheap price! You can also ask for a free refill and simple noodles with soy sauce will be brought to you. Highly recommended

This place is completely overrated. I ordered the Maxs beef noodle soup , sadly the broth was tasteless. The noodles were tasty you could really tell that they were handmade. Other than that its really not worth the long waiting time. However, the waiter and in general the staff was really nice.

If you queue outside in the cold you get free tea and snacks - what hospitality! :) Noodle soups here cost around €12 - fair prices. The noodles are hand-pulled and you can taste it. Personally, as a soup lover, I would have liked a little more soup, but perhaps far too much is thrown away - so this is only a minor point of criticism. :) All in all, really wonderful dining experience had here. Don't be afraid of the line at the entrance. This place works like a finely tuned mechanism. The staff is very polite, I was amazed by their knowledge of many different languages. And of course the food is very tasty!

It's always nice to be there as a guest. Service is very important there. While you're waiting you'll be called in so you don't have to stand in the cold/rain. At the same time you will be given tea to make the waiting time more pleasant. The food is always freshly prepared (see video). The quantity and quality are completely fair to the prices. The restaurant is simple, but beautifully decorated with wall drawings. Due to the many positive points, it is logical that you sometimes have to expect a long waiting time. However, the visit is always worth it!

I think the service ( free snacks and drinks) was great, also the server spoke great Spanish. My only complain was that the broth was flavorless. I ordered 麻辣牛肉麵 ( Mala beef soup) but it didn’t taste 麻 ( numbing)or 辣( spicy). There were no 花椒 ( Chinese Pepper) in the soup, which is a basic ingredient for anything Mala flavored. The noodles were good and handmade , but the broth can be improved.

The business of Max’s Beef Noodles is very good, so much so that every day when I pass by, I see many people queuing outside, even in the coldest night (it was a snowy night on 11/21/2024). Outside, you can see the boss making fresh beef noodles in the store. He kneads it with his hands and pulls the noodles one at a time, so the texture of the noodles is springy and delicious. We were on a business trip to Germany for 19 days. We saw it every time we passed by and couldn't help but eat at this restaurant three times. The store is very considerate. In cold weather, when people are queuing up outside, they will ask some people to go inside and wait on the stairs inside the store first. They will also serve hot tea or snacks to the guests to make them feel better while waiting. It feels warm and doesn't feel like it lasts long. I think Max's Beef Noodles is the best Chinese beef noodle dish in Germany. The three times we ate there, we had Max's Beef Nudeln, Hongshoa Nudeln, Spinatsalat, and Gurkensalat. (Cucumber pat), Seetangsalat (kelp salad), Yuntuen Nudeln (shrimp wonton noodles). My favorite among them is the braised beef noodles.

This is the first time I came, and I craving for the strong taste food, so I tried the curry chicken noodle. If you like strong curry taste, it's worthed to try and yeah! the noodle texture is great.

Very tasty noodles and big portions! You will most likely queue for a bit outside but no time gets wasted: you can look at the menu and write down your order on the papers outside while you wait. Bonus points for the staff that offers spring rolls, and other small bites to the people queueing

A famous noodle place. While waiting in line, they offer different teas or chips and fried chicken. A portion of meat noodles was 9.90 Euros. WC was clean. A place that can be visited again, it is also in the center. The pleasure of eating with chopsticks and interesting sauces and spices are waiting to be tried. Credit cards are not accepted. They find out what you're going to eat next and make it while you wait.

Always busy and bustling with people. Standing in line is absolutely worth it, the food is delicious. The atmosphere is as if you were in a Chinese local, the cooks and waiters are talking, you can hear the constant smacking of the dough for the next few portion of noodles. The food itself is fantastic. I don’t have any reasons to visit Munich but after eating at Maxs Beef noodles I have.

It falls squarely in my top 3 noodle restaurants. The noodles are very good. The wines we chose were also very delicious, but what I have to highlight is the attention and service, great, on another level. They don't reserve and there are always lines, but it goes quickly and they take care of it.

I ordered noodles mit Rindfleisch. Their taste was good enough but the portion was almost small and it literally had two ingredients; meat and cabbage, nothing else! I have never seen such a poor plate in a restaurant. We also ordered gyozas which were pretty fine, only their dipping sauce was literally a drop, but it was enough. At last we have ordered spring rolls that never came, we asked what was wrong and they answered that they were finished, something that they never mentioned when we gave the order. I don’t understand why this restaurant is so highly reviewed. Overrated and almost disappointing.

I’ve never experienced hospitality like this in any restaurant before. The one-hour wait was a clear sign that the food would be amazing—and it absolutely was! Authentic, delicious, and priced incredibly well. What truly stood out, though, was the guest experience. While we waited, one employee kept walking back and forth, offering everyone samples of food and hot tea to keep us comfortable. It made the wait feel so much more pleasant. When it came time to pay, everything was smooth, even though we learned it was cash only (so be prepared for that). Huge kudos to the whole team, especially the person who took such great care of the guests waiting outside. Hospitality like this is rare, and it left a lasting impression. We walked by the previous night and saw a serious queue outside the restaurant, so we could tell this place was super popular. We got here shortly after opening and there was already a wait! They start the line inside and only when it fills up does the line begin outside. It's getting cold and the will bring out hot tea to keep customers warm. To keep the lines moving, they may ask if you're willing to share a table with other guests, but it's up to you to decide whether you accept or not. The front of house gentleman is very friendly and understands German, English, Mandarin, and a bit of Cantonese which was very helpful for us visiting tourists. The portions are big! I had the hong shou beef noodles. Great flavor and the pieces of beef were tender.
