Second time here, really nice Japanese restaurant in the heart of Osnabrück, just opposite the Theatre in the pedestrian zone. Dining available indoor and outdoor, I do recommend making a booking if you are planning to sit inside. Nice selection of food, especially for sharing and the staff very helpful. There was no wifi but could connect to OSNA hot-spot.

I liked it a lot, all the dishes were very tasty, only one or two other warm meals would have been nice... Value for money was good...

The toilet was great, otherwise a fail from “Rating over four, you can try”. The fish is cut rectangular and seems to have been thawed, makis definitely took longer to prepare, avocado is old, sushi in the makis is maximally greasy (barely pink), tastes worse than in the supermarket. And at unbelievably high prices, including a stomach ache afterwards. If it were actually sushi from the supermarket, you could deal with it and chalk it up as “your own fault”. But if you are used to very high quality sushi, including good drinks, you should just stay away from this “restaurant”...

We visited this restaurant because it was advertised as a grill and sushi restaurant, but unfortunately there was only sushi and no grill, which was quite disappointing. The food was okay, but not really justified for the price. The portions were smaller than expected and we weren't completely impressed by the taste. We also had to take our order ourselves, which we found unusual and unpleasant. Overall, we expected more, especially in view of the grill offer, which was not available. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here.

Yesterday evening we spontaneously went to the Ichiban at the theater with 6 people. We all really enjoyed it! Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and delicious sushi rounded off our visit to Osnabrück!

We were there last night with 4 people. We sat in the lower area. The waitress who served us was very friendly, quick and accommodating. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The atmosphere was inviting and we immediately felt at home. I can only recommend the store and are already planning my next visit.

Like many other reviews, I can only recommend it, the food was very tasty and the service was also very friendly. Even if an order went missing, it didn't take long for it to be brought to our table after we were made aware of it. and since I've read this in other reviews, I'll add that our bill worked out and the voucher from the "City for Two" voucher booklet was also handled without any problems.

Older employee (tattoo on neck) distributed the food to tables that were nearby. Whatever drinks he couldn't distribute, he drank himself. An employee tried to save the situation with an extra discount, but unfortunately the situation was still bad and extremely uneconomical for the company!

Absolutely not recommended. Nice location in a great location. The staff doesn't seem very professional and, among other things, doesn't know the difference between vegan and vegetarian, which is already evident on the menu (V= vegetarian VV= vegan/vegetarian). Half of the menu not available. There is no children's menu without living creatures. After repeated questions and discussion, the kids then receive a small bowl of rice (it's not on the menu and was initially denied, €8). Price performance completely disproportionate.

And the sushi didn't taste good at all. All in all we don't recommend it. We have never eaten such bad sushi before and paid over 110 euros for two people.

A woman K… wrote here last. I went out to eat with my husband that day and talked to him because we noticed that. We were there three times now and were very satisfied. We also sat in the back. (Which wasn't a bad thing for us at all because it was nice and quiet and we didn't hear the "crying of children" here. We could remember that the staff at our neighboring table came over every now and then and asked "if they were still waiting?" & in In our opinion, the reason for leaving was that there was less choice, which didn't correspond to what we wanted. That's what they said to the staff when we left, "unfortunately not enough choice." If they had asked more politely and spoken openly and honestly, then it certainly wouldn't have been a problem - but in our opinion it wasn't addressed and therefore the service couldn't really make an effort. I went through reviews here and it was even taken into account that you can only order a portion of rice with soy. Very sad that you could case is reflected in this way. (Apart from that you could have googled the map beforehand 😉🫠😀😂) Well my husband and I were very satisfied with the quality and service. They all tried very hard and there is a nice atmosphere in this restaurant. So Ichiban at the theater? Always a pleasure! 🥰🙏🏼😀

We wanted to eat there on Saturday evening with 8 people (table reserved weeks in advance), our table in the "VIP area" was just a normal long table with a tiny, small round table in front where two people could never eat comfortably. Of the approximately 15 dishes on the menu (except sushi), only two were available (each with shrimp). Unfortunately, for some of us, neither sushi nor these dishes were an option due to allergies and intolerances. When we asked, we were assured that these were the only things available. Not even a portion of rice with e.g. B. Soy sauce would be possible... Absolutely no effort was made to find a solution! We then left the store and spent a great evening in one of the surrounding restaurants. Ichiban at the cathedral courtyard? Never again!

We ate there around lunchtime, which is why we only had the lunch menu to choose from. What was unusual at first was that you had to write your order yourself with a pencil on a piece of paper, but it worked well. The food was okay, not particularly outstanding sushi and not necessarily distinguishable from sushi that you can buy in a discount store. When it came to paying, they said there was no change. However, we visited an hour after it opened, which surprised us a little. All in all, not recommended.

We wanted to eat there last night (May 30, 2024) at 6:40 p.m. The waitress told us there was no space available even though two thirds of the restaurant was empty, but we could sit outside in the cold, wet 14°C and rain. When we asked what was going on with the tables in the back area, there was no response at all. We then said that we would take the sushi platter for two people with us at the promotional price and of course forego the included drinks, but that was also rejected. Apparently they don't want to make any sales at all. We then spent our money in another sushi restaurant. By the way, it wasn't the first time we were surprised about the service staff there. At the end of January, the same service person had to make two phone calls as yesterday because she didn't know the current offers. Then our order came, a plate for two people, but we didn't get any slate plates or at least plates. The invoice was of course incorrect and had to be created again.

Bought a vegan box at Too good to go for €8.99 and got a ridiculously small box with the simplest sushi. For that price I can also get normal sushi in the neighborhood and more of it...

First of all...the food was really delicious. But the price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. Sure, everything has become more expensive, but the prices here blew me away. In addition, the service really leaves a lot to be desired. You have to wait 15 minutes for a coke, then the wrong thing comes and then they say you have to understand it... it would be very crowded. 1. No, I don't HAVE to understand anything and 2. only half of the tables were occupied!! We had to wait a long time to pay again. When someone came, they were amazed that we had a voucher that had to be booked separately. So she left again and only came back after a quarter of an hour and then collected the rest. Finally I went to the toilet where I was almost hit. The trash can was overflowing and all over the floor and there was paper lying around in the toilet compartments. Not a pretty sight. My conclusion: For a restaurant that charges such prices, both the service and the cleanliness have to improve a lot. I won't go there again.

Excellent standard Sushi, but please order everything you want the first round. The second round took a very long time... and it wasn't even busy. Probably due to staff shortages. Didn't order a third round and felt like I had only had a starter. €64 for two was not much.

Amazing sushi and japanese cuisine. Super cute atmosphere on two floors. My wife’s vegan and gluten free, and there are good options for that too. Like all sushi places pricy for dinner but the lunch deals are a great price. If you love sushi, definitely worth going.

Had dinner at Ichiban at the Domtheater a few days ago. Super great and fast service, very nice service and nice atmosphere. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. I can highly recommend the number 504 for two people. A visit there is highly recommended :)

War gestern das erste Mal dort abends, und sicher nicht mein letztes Mal :) sehr freundlicher und schneller Service, gute Lage und leckeres qualitatives Sushi, von daher gibt es 5 Sterne.

Ein wirklich angenehmes Ambiente und ein guter Service. Zudem ist das Sushi frisch und sehr lecker. Auch die Auswahl an Getränken bzw. Cocktails sieht man so nicht oft. Nur zu Empfehlen
