I Medici in Bonn

Good service, good drinks, good food (the goose was fantastic) and nice ambience (even with live piano accompaniment that evening). We always enjoy coming back.

Here, you pay for the ambiance. The value for money is completely out of proportion. The food and drinks are expensive, and the quality is mediocre at best. Anyone with vegans is in trouble. A pile of vegetables, with no other side dishes on the plate and no sauce, costs €20 – disgraceful! You had to ask for the drinks menu after the appetizer was already on the table. Conclusion: Not recommended.

Not only was the Italian restaurant a revelation for me, but also the 13th century castle itself, the view from the restaurant terrace over Bonn was excellent and extraordinary, the castle itself is in very good condition and the museum was also worth a visit Unfortunately it was closed when I was there so I can't say anything, but for me it is a great place that is definitely worth a visit and I would love to come back and try out the hotel kitchen. This is forever just my personal opinion and my personal experiences as I can I just advise you to visit this place yourself can be reached via a very small access road between the two motorways but you have to leave the motorway, a bit tricky but definitely easy to find
