Very good Taiwanese street food in the center of Solingen. The owners are really nice and provide good and welcoming service. My menu, consisting of beef ramen and dumplings, was really tasty. I really enjoyed the hearty broth and the addition harmonized very well. Overall, I like the mix of authentic cuisine and modern presentation. A real insider tip in Solingen!

We chose How Bao because of the above-average, very good reviews here and were not disappointed. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, not too overwhelming. Toilets and premises very clean. Even a stroller wasn't a problem at all for the shop owners. The food was excellent and the price was right here too. Our insider tip: cheesecake-mango mochis, the filled pudding buns and the meat substitute in the ramen or bao. What I absolutely have to say is that we have rarely experienced such attentive and extremely friendly service! That was really great and is a real rarity these days. Keep it up, we would definitely take the longer route again and would be happy to recommend you!

First of all, a very warm welcome and very polite service. Good English is spoken and everything is done to make eating there a nice experience. We just had the tofu ramen. The chunks of tofu are a bit big and tasteless, but the soup is nice, therefore 3 stars for food, the rest 5 stars Almost forgot! Maisels Weisse 😄

This was my second time eating at How Bao. The food is super delicious. Such delicious food is very rare here in Solingen. I am very happy to have discovered the restaurant and will enjoy it again and again. I hope HowBao stays here in Solingen forever.

The restaurant is really excellent and currently a top food spot in Solingen. The restaurant is small but nice. Everything is clean and comfortably furnished. The service/owner is super warm and accommodating. In terms of taste, everything here is 1A. The corn dogs are wonderful because the dough is not too thick. The bao buns also taste very good. But the highlight is definitely the frame. Different level of taste. Better than some other restaurants. We will definitely come more often.

Good food, very nice service and a surprising amount of choice. We only got 4 stars for the ambience because the coziness on the main street is limited if you sit outside. I can also only recommend the corn dogs with chocolate bar filling.

Super delicious street food. We had gyoza pockets as a starter, corn dogs as a main course and a Snickers also in the delicious dough for corn dogs. Very tasty and very friendly service. There are also fancy drinks such as lemonades with bubbles. We ate on site. But you can also take it with you. If you're very hungry, you should plan on having two corn dogs.

In my opinion, the opening was a complete success! Very clean restaurant, friendly and obviously trained staff and, above all, tasty cuisine. Placed the order, waited a few minutes and the taste experience began. I would happily recommend you and will come back with reinforcements. Addendum on May 17, 2024: I went to How Bao today after countless more times. The boys have now firmly established themselves in Solingen's city center and are a figurehead for really good street food! The menu has been expanded and the prices have remained good in terms of value for money. Always a pleasure to the fullest.

so perfect! Even better than the braised beef noodles on the ground floor of Taoyuan Airport! Especially the soup with bean paste (probably bean paste) makes it more mellow and delicious ~ hahaha

Had dinner there together yesterday, my companion ate something like what's on offer for the first time and was very excited. I've never eaten such good dumplings and the best soy sauce in the world for me so I took some home with me. The ramen noodles in a strong broth that tasted very tasty with tender pieces of beef. If you would like to try out what the cuisine tastes like in the country without having to travel, you should definitely visit the restaurant. If you want to eat there during peak times, you should reserve a table. It's definitely not the last time we've been there and I'm looking forward to the next time. The owner is very accommodating and hospitality is great here, it wasn't at a time when it was overcrowded. Food came quickly, hot and tasty 😋 Many thanks to the mega team in the restaurant

We finished everything, the food are sooo delicious! Can’t believe I have local Taiwanese delicacies in Wuppertal! We had Taiwanese food in Italy and Munich, this is the best one in Europe. We will bring more friends here :) I have been traveling to Europe for six weeks, and I never expected to be able to eat authentic Taiwanese food here! ! ! When it's windy and rainy outside and it's only 5 degrees cold, I eat beef noodles, drink beef soup, braised pork rice, and braised pork. It's so delicious that I can't speak. I'm about to cry. Best Taiwan cuisine in Europe! Pork rice gets so much flavor and beef noodle is speechless. The best Chinese restaurant in Europe, worth a special visit to enjoy the delicious food. The braised pork rice is full of aroma, the beef noodle soup is very sweet, the fried chicken is crispy and delicious, and the dumplings are amazing whether they are vegetarian or not!

Finally a real enrichment for the otherwise rather moderately good gastro landscape in Solingen. How Bao is super centrally located, has very good opening times and a nice, tidy and clean atmosphere. What is particularly convincing is the really excellent food and the outstanding service. The staff was more friendly and attentive than I have experienced in a long time. The ramen dishes had a very special, delicious broth and were rich. The dumplings are also recommended. We would be happy to come back and thank you for the lovely evening.

We went there for the first time yesterday with friends and were really impressed. The food was really tasty and authentic, these are dishes that are almost all the same in Taiwan. How do we know this? My husband is Taiwanese and I studied and lived in Taiwan for a long time. I had the spicy beef ramen and my husband had the rice with crispy chicken. We also ordered a corn dog. We would also like to praise the great service. We haven't received such friendly and attentive service in a long time. And even though the store itself isn't big, that doesn't detract from the ambience. I would only recommend making a reservation in advance if you want to have dinner here with several people on the weekend. Since we had a great evening here, I can't help but give it 5 stars. Keep it up guys, really great! Yesterday you gained two new regular customers who will come back more often to try the other dishes.

Excellent reviews always raise questions, and rightly so! Here I have to say - I actually want to give six stars, seriously. Since it opened, we've been eating out more regularly than ever before, simply because we always go home happy here. Also with friends and family. The food is great, portions are large and the prices are absolutely reasonable. The marinated pork with rice is highly recommended, and for dessert you should definitely try the Twix corn dogs. The place isn't huge, but it's lovingly furnished. Service is always good, the guys do a great job and are totally committed. If you have any questions, just ask and if in doubt you will find an individual solution for the food. It's definitely worth a visit, just try out the menu.

Bislang probierte ich dunplings, tofu, pommes, corn dog und bao burger. Alles sehr lecker. Corn dog ist sehr sättigend und gross. Leckere wurst/Käse. Der veggie patty schmeckt extrem gut. Pomes auch 1a. Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Bin sehr froh diesen Laden in Solingen zu haben und werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und auch die „Größeren“ Gerichte probieren.

How Bao ist ein sehr gemütliches und überschaubares Restaurant. Zudem war es auch sehr sauber und einladend eingerichtet.Ich habe zum ersten Mal einen Corn Dog gegessen. Rindfleisch-Ramen ist mega Lecker!! Die Corn Dog waren extrem knusprig und um einiges größer und leckerer, als die aus Düsseldorf. Die Snicker/ Oreo / Nutella Corn Dog ist unglaublich und perfekt zum Nachtisch. Dies ist das zweite Mal, dass Sie hier speisen, sie haben eine neue Speisekarte mit mehr Artikeln. Der Original Gua Bao schmeckt genau wie der, den ich auf meiner vorherigen Reise nach Taiwan hatte, sehr lecker!Und dieses Knusprige Hähnchen, ich habe es zum zweiten Mal gegessen, und ich möchte es jedes Mal bestellen, das Fleisch ist sehr frisch und saftig. In Solingen gibt es endlich ein Restaurant mit verschiedenen Gerichten, und der Preis ist nicht teuer, es ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Bao Burger ist sehr sehr lecker und fluffig. Die Corn Dogs mit Käse sind hervorragend.Die Rindflesich Ramen sind sehr lecker und die Suppe hat einen vollen Rindfleischgeschmack.

Sehr nettes Personal, kleiner Laden aber gemütlich. Toiletten sind sauber. Ich denke man sollte vorher reservieren. Jetzt zum wichtigen, dem Essen. Preis Leistung ist gemessen an der Qualität super. Geschmacklich waren alle Gerichte auch sehr lecker. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar aber es gibt dennoch genug Auswahl. Ich würde hier definitiv nochmal Essen gehen.

Taiwanische Streetfood Küche ist eine gelungene Abwechslung zu den üblichen asiatischen Küchen, die man so kennt. Es wird gekocht, wie bei Oma z.B. zerfällt das Schweinefleich auf Reis, wie ein Gulasch. Der Ramen ist eine Gaumenreise und wurde 4 Stunden eingekocht. Unseren Kids, die sonst keine Asiagerichte gerne mögen, sind kleine Fans und freuen sich auf den nächsten Besuch. Mal wirklich anders, sehr zu empfehlen!

Kleines aber feines taiwanesisches Restaurant mit ausgewählten Gerichten in top Qualität. Ich habe das scharfe Rindfleisch Ramen gegessen, man merkt die Erfahrung in der Küche, es schmeckt ausgezeichnet und ganz frisch. Danach zwei gefüllte Mochi-Teigkugeln mit Eis und ein alkoholfreies Bier. Was man alles aus einem grauen und verregneten Novembertag machen kann. ;-) Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! 🍲🍺🍨😀

在德國能吃到真正的台灣家常味是一種無法言喻的享受。外場德國小兄弟的服務態度是難得可貴的誠懇，因為在一般的德國餐廳通常享受不到真正的服務。Echte taiwanesische Hausmannskost in Deutschland ist ein unbeschreiblicher Genuss. Die Serviceeinstellung der Deutschen ist aufrichtig, denn in gewöhnlichen deutschen Restaurants bekommt man normalerweise keinen echten Service.

Wir waren zum ersten, aber sicherlich nicht letzten Mal dort und waren sehr begeistert. Wir haben allerlei von der Speisekarte probiert, alles war sehr, sehr lecker und absolut zu empfehlen. Auch der Service und die Freundlichkeit des Personals war bemerkenswert. Wir fanden es besonders positiv, dass es KEINEN Lieferservice gibt, sodass nicht alle paar Minuten die Tür knallte, weil Lieferando und Konsorten Essen abholte, so kann man dort in Ruhe essen, garantiert heißes Essen. Bestellen und selber abholen geht aber, wer’s braucht. Fazit: hier stimmt für uns alles!

Wir sind mittlerweile regelmäßig Gäste im "How Bao" und es ist jedes mal hervorragend. Die Karte wird stetig erweitert und auch das Ambiente wurde von Besuch zu Besuch durch weitere Dekoelemente immer mehr aufgewertet. Dieses Restaurant wird mit Liebe und Leidenschaft geführt .. Das schmeckt und sieht man auch. Die Inhaber beraten einen jederzeit gerne, was die Speisen angeht. Ich lege jedem einen Besuch in diesem Lokal ans Herz. Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen.

Eine Bereicherung für die City! Das Essen war frisch, lecker und kam schnell an den Tisch. Die Süßkartoffelpommes waren besonders erstklassig. Aber auch die anderen Speisen haben uns zugesagt. Es war der erste Bubbletea, der mir wirklich geschmeckt hat. Große Auswahl für Veggies gibt es auch. Der Service ist eine 10/10. Sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider passte kein Nachtisch mehr rein, das wird beim nächsten Mal nachgeholt. Die Außenterrasse ist halt direkt an der viel befahrenen Straße, aber es ist eben Street Food und passt somit ins Gesamtbild. Innen war es sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es war nicht unser letzter Besuch in diesem Lokal, total empfehlenswert.

Hab den Restaurant durch Zufall gefunden, und habe gar nichts bereut :). Sehr leckeres Essen und Super leckere Corndogs. Hab lange nicht mehr so ein geiles Essen gegessen (probiert mal den Corndog mit Snickers<3) Das nächste mal versuche ich die Nudeln, bin aber zuversichtlich das die auch der Hammer sind.
