A very good ambience, service is friendly & Mediterranean-style food is very tasty and recommended. Everyone who is on holiday in Solingen should eat there once.

We spontaneously went to dinner here this evening with the voucher book and even though we only arrived at half past eight, we received a very warm welcome! The service and advice were great and the owner's energy could be felt throughout the store! The food was made with a lot of love, worth every price! There was no annoying or negative reaction to our special requests either. Even though I follow a vegan, sugar-free and gluten-free diet, I was very satisfied with my dish and went home very happy. Everything was fresh, the vegetables were crunchy and the raspberry vinaigrette was homemade with fresh fruit. We really, really felt comfortable and I can really recommend trying out new restaurants, just because of this visit to the restaurant! We will come back! We had a wonderful Sunday evening and would like to thank the owners for this great end to the week! All the best and see you next time :)

Wonderful restaurant! The right place to relax and feast. Incredibly (actually!) nice service, attentive and always there! The food? Super! Even a nice little menu for vegans like my wife and me! And it tastes delicious! Non-vegan friends really appreciated the menu up and down! And you will receive a warm welcome from a great hostess! Definitely try it again and again! I ate at Ess Atelier for the first time today and it was really more than convincing. That was soul food…you can tell that it was cooked with passion. Also a very nice team, really attentive. My recommendation: Vitello Tonato, bruschetta, carpaccio and lamb chops with homemade fries.

Unfortunately we stood in front of closed doors today. No information at the restaurant. Unfortunately, you can't expect to go through all the channels to get information. For example, there was no mention of your vacation on your website that we visited. At least I didn't find one. But there are plenty of other places you can visit in Ohligs. We then used something else. Maybe next time. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Have a beautiful holiday!

We were there for the first time on Friday and really enjoyed it. The dishes are always fresh. It is very tasty, the staff is very friendly and we would definitely go there again and would be happy to recommend it to others.

The operation and service are very nice, you feel like you are at home! The shop is beautifully decorated and on top... you even feel at home in the toilet: the ladies have a basket with various things like deodorant, hair spray, stain remover, lint roller, comb, glasses cleaning cloths, sanitary napkins and tampons... something like that I've never seen it before. Here you can really say: the customer is king! Until next time 😃

Had a very good, wonderful Fish4lovers plate with a good side salad and very tasty vegetables, as well as very good fries. The restaurant is very inviting on the inside, a passageway on the outside, but still beautifully decorated. And the service is absolutely first class. A real recommendation there.

Update: Today I ate the buffalo mozzarella pizza with baby spinach and pesto - fantastic. This restaurant (and cocktail bar) is a place special. Selected specialties are lovingly prepared and served here. The ambience is just as harmonious as the food is seasoned. This restaurant is definitely an added value for Solingen and the variety of the menu guarantees many visits to this attractive restaurant.

Im Essatelier findet man ein sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis vor. Neben dem guten Essen gibt es einen sehr freundlichen und zukommenden Kundenservice. Hier kann man sich über eine große Auswahl an Speisen freuen, bei denen auch Extrawünsche, wenn möglich, berücksichtigt werden. Außerdem bietet es eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre mit einem überdachten Außenbereich. Empfehlenswert ist eine vorzeitige Sitzplatzreservierung.

Just a very authentic restaurant with heart! The chef playfully masters the menu with a special kick! The waitresses, including the boss, are simply fantastic and on the ball! We were at EssAtelier for the first time last week and were so impressed that we went back again today. We found this great restaurant in the Schlemmerblock and were/are sooooooo impressed! The super warm welcome from the boss, the TOP service, the mega delicious food (everything freshly prepared), the very nice ambience,........ Simply everything TOP!!!!!!! We will definitely be going to the EssAtelier very often. A real insider tip!!!!!!!!!

The buffet at our Christmas party was unique. The boss in the kitchen is the world's best chef and the boss is the world's best and most attentive waiter. Thank you for the great support. Unfortunately there are no six stars, but they would be appropriate here.

Seit Monaten endlich mal wieder im EssAtelier gewesen. Egal was man dort bestellt, es schmeckt immer vorzüglich die Speisen sind immer frisch! Der Service ist aufmerksam und sehr herzlich. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und der allgemeinen Qualität dort angemessen. Leider liegt das Restaurant etwas versteckt in einer älteren Einkaufspassage - allerdings sollte man sich davon in keiner Weise abschrecken lassen! Es geht daher fast noch als Geheimtip durch obwohl immer sehr viele Stammgäste dort speisen.

The pasta was fresh, the scapis nice and crunchy as it should be. The spices were a symphony to the taste buds. The restaurant is family-run and passionate restaurateurs. The service is very warm and friendly. We felt comfortable from the first second. From now on this will be our regular restaurant and we can recommend it to everyone with a clear conscience. This evening I visited the essatelier for the second time with my daughter. We were greeted very friendly by the boss. The service team was just as friendly. Starters and main course were very good. Especially the fish platter “For Fish Lovers” was a delight. I will definitely visit the Estelier more often.

Have been there twice. Once on the anniversary and once on Easter Sunday. The food was mega delicious and there was a large selection of food and drinks, the staff was very nice and friendly, you never feel alone, there is always someone there for you. The atmosphere and furnishings are great. If you want to spend a nice evening and feel like you're with family, this is the right place for you. Uhlala... what a beautiful, cozy and great shop in the heart of Ohligs. The EssAtelier presents itself in a modern, open and friendly atmosphere and invites you to spend cozy, long evenings. The owner-run service is absolutely warm and honest, and also genuinely interested in the guests' opinions. The menu is a Mediterranean mix with a great selection. When choosing food, you should just ask yourself whether burgers need to be offered additionally. In my opinion, the Mediterranean menu itself is completely sufficient and authentic. In addition to the map, there are changing highlights. All dishes are prepared fresh and without the use of convenience products! There are, if any, little things about the food eaten that need to be discussed. The bruschetta with pumpkin seed pesto was a bit dry. Maybe you could gratinate it with a little parmesan. 🫠 The Vitello Tonnato was great in itself, but next time I would order it without freshly ground pepper and coarse sea salt because the mouthfeel wasn't nice, especially because of the salt. The tuna cream could have used a little more fish. (A matter of taste, of course 😄) I particularly recommend the pizza and pasta dishes. Here the passion could be seen and tasted. The desserts are also highly recommended. I'm particularly critical of tiramisu, but this one was perfect. 👌 I also urgently need to say that I had the best espresso martini of my life here. But the other cocktails and long drinks are also recommended. Next time I'll definitely have to try the large wine list! 😍😍😍😍Sometimes too many good reviews are misleading, but here they are all consistent and reflect exactly the experience we had here. Be sure to stop here and enjoy a great evening!!! We'd love to come back! 💞
