Hotelanlage Starick - Karl-Heinz & Jeannette Starick GbR in Lübbenau/Spreewald

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit auf der Hotelanlage Starick gefeiert und würden uns immer wieder so entscheiden. Der Service von Frau Starick war genial, sie hat uns souverän durch alle Vorbereitungen geführt, Kontakte für Torte, Blumen-Deko und Kahnfahrt gegeben, und alles war insgesamt ein tolles Paket. Die einstündige Kahnfahrt war für uns als Hochzeitspaar und auch für die Gäste eine willkommene Ruhe-Oase und wunderschön in diesem Teil des Spreewaldes. Wer in Vetschau heiratet (auch sehr empfehlenswert! Tolle Atmosphäre und sehr engagierte Standesbeamtin, die eine lange und persönliche Ansprache an uns richtete. Da blieb kein Auge trocken) kann guten Gewissens hier auf der Hotelanlage feiern. 10 Sterne!

Schönes weitläufiges Hotel. Alles was man unternehmen kann ist fußläufig erreichbar. Personal war freundlich und motiviert. Rundum einschöner Urlaub und schöner Aufenthalt. Danke.

Positives: Sehr gute, ruhige und entspannte Lage. Super freundliches Personal, welches uns immer behilflich war und uns alle wichtigen Fragen und Informationen gegeben hat. Der Room-Service war hervorragend, schnell, sauber, zuverlässig und ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Sehr gutes, reichliches und vielfältiges Frühstück. Das Abendessen ist sehr lecker und mal was anderes wie sonst, leider sind die Portionsgrößen etwas mickrig. Es war zu jeder Zeit möglich sich Bier, Cocktails etc. zu bestellen. Negatives: Das Zimmer (Suite mit Dampfdusche und Terrasse) war leider nicht wie beschrieben und daher irreführend. Die kleine Terrasse war lediglich zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung aller Hotelgäste und befand sich unten anliegenden am Eingang zu den Zimmern (Haustür). Keine Klimaanlage für die Zimmer im Dachgeschoss (bei Außentemperaturen ab 25 Grad, kaum aushaltbar und nicht angenehm beim schlafen). Die vorhandene Minibar kühlt leider keine Getränke, wie in anderen Hotels in denen wir bereits Gast waren. Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel haben wir leider auch kein Willkommens Wasser oder kleine Sektflasche im Zimmer bereitgestellt bekommen. Die Regendampf Dusche welche angepriesen wurde, haben wir in unserem Zimmer vergebens gesucht. Das WLAN ist eher schlecht und reicht gerade mal um Nachrichten zu empfangen oder zu schreiben. Fazit: Wir würden trotz der negativen Punkte jederzeit wieder in der Hotelanlage Urlaub machen, jedoch in einem anderen Zimmer (eher im Erdgeschoss). 😉 Ach und…laut Google Maps, egal wo man sich befindet, ist jeder Hotspot immer nur 3-4 Minuten entfernt 😅

Sehr schönes Hotel, toller netter Service - kann ich nur Empfehlen!!!

Wir waren ein paar Tage im Spreewald und haben uns im Fischkasten eingemietet. Insgesamt waren wir wirklich sehr zufrieden. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich an der Rezeption empfangen und konnten sogar früher als erwartet direkt unsere Zimmer beziehen – das war super angenehm. Die Zimmer waren ordentlich, sauber und gepflegt, da gab es absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Ein kleiner Punkt, den wir persönlich nicht ganz optimal fanden: Wir hatten direkt vorne an der Treppe das erste Zimmer, neben dem draußen ein Raucherbereich mit Tisch, Stühlen und Aschenbecher war. Da wir Nichtraucher sind und gerne mit offenem Fenster schlafen, war das etwas ungünstig. Auch die Geräuschkulisse könnte dort je nach Gästen etwas lauter werden. Das Frühstück war dagegen wirklich top. Es war alles vorhanden, sehr schön organisiert und man konnte sogar Plätze reservieren, was sehr entspannt war. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das leckere Gurkenbrot – davon haben wir uns sogar noch eins mitgenommen. Auch die Restaurants, die zum Hotel gehören, haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war lecker, das Personal überall freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Spreewald selbst bietet natürlich viele tolle Freizeitmöglichkeiten und wir hatten zusätzlich noch perfektes Wetter. Insgesamt also ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

Zimmer sind noch in gutem Zustand. Gegen die Mücken könnte noch mehr getan werden.

Anfang Mai waren wir mit 2 befreundeten Ehepaaren 5 Tage im "Starik" und sehr zufrieden-mit einer Ausnahme. Das Hotel bietet zwar kostenlose Unterstellmöglichkeiten für Fahrräder ,aber keine Lademöglichkeiten für e-bikes! Auskunft der (ansonst netten) Rezeptionsmitarbeiterin war sinngemäß, das dazu keine Möglichkeit besteht. Ob eine Steckdose in der Fahrradgarage vorhanden sei , wusste sie nicht und das Laden im Zimmer sei verboten. Es gibt auch Räder mit integriertem Akku, dann ist guter Rat gefragt. Wir haben uns zu helfen gewusst und ja, die Garage hatte sogar eine Steckdose und wir haben diese dann "illegal" genutzt! In einer Zeit, in der immer mehr Urlauber e-bikes benutzen , sollte das Nachladen der Akkus im Radfahrerparadies Spreewald selbstverständlich zum Service eines Hotels gehören. Ansonsten gab es keinerlei Beanstandungen in diese schönen Hotelanlage , besonders das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Toller Service mit Begrüßungssekt und der Standort ist schon sehr zentral. Das Hotel wird sehr gut angenommen. Das Frühstücksrestaurant ist direkt am Hotel, die Auswahl ist reichhaltig und für ein 4-Sternehotel ok. Der Service beim Frühstück ist sehr umsichtig und freundlich. Das Abendessen gibt es im ca. 200 m entfernten Restaurant Hirschwinkel, etwas versteckt aber mit einer übersichtliche Karte und einem zuvorkommenden und freundlichen Service. Das Essen ist lecker und nicht zu überteuert. Zum Zimmer... leider hatten wir ein Basiczimmer. Diese Zimmer befinden sich unter der Dachschräge und sollen laut Hotel 17 qm groß sein. Man kann es leider nur Dach oder- Besenkammer nennen. In das bequeme Doppelbett kann man nur von einer Seite kommen, da durch die Dachschräge ein Einsteigen von der anderen Seite nur durch Schlangentanz möglich ist. Das Bad hat eine Glasschiebetür, die die Toilette vom Bett ca. einen Meter trennt und jegliche Imtimsphäre vermissen lässt. Solche Zimmer zu diesem Preis zu vermieten, ist einem 4 - Sternehotel nicht angemessen. Für eine Nacht in solch einem Zimmer ausreichend, für einen kompletten Urlaub nicht zu empfehlen.

Herausragend gelegene Hotelanlage (ruhig, direkt am Wasser) mit sehr freundlichem Personal und super Service. Großartiges Frühstück (ganz bestimmt nicht nur die selbstgemachte Erdbeermarmelade). Nicht gerade günstig, aber sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und der Service fantastisch. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Preis / Leistung ist ok. Überall im Hotel sind Geweihe und ausgestopfte Tiere platziert. Für meinen Fall etwas zu viel des Guten - aber schon ok. Am besten ist das ausgiebige, frische und sehr leckere Frühstück. Vegan und glutenfrei wurde für meine Frau ebenso bereit gestellt und es wurde sehr viel geboten. Es gab frisches Obst und eine große Auswahl von allen. Für mich gab es auch Lachs, Würstchen, Speck und leckere Eier. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön und weitläufig. Inkl. Flüsschen, Brücken, Restaurant und Spielplatz. Man erreicht in Lehde alles Fussläufig. Und auch zum Schloss und Park nach Lübbenau sind es nur 1,1km.

Wir durften am vergangenen Wochenende, dem 25.04.2026 unsere Hochzeit in der Hotelanlage Starick feiern. Es war der perfekte Tag !!!! Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön an Frau Starick und das gesamte Team, dem Service, den super aufmerksamen Kellnern, der fantastischen Küche ohne diese es nicht so gut geworden wäre. Wir haben die Ludki Suite bewohnt, welche unfassbar schön und groß ist. Die Kahnfahrt war ein Highlight für alle. . Unsere ersten kleinen Absprachen starteten im November 2025 und Frau Starick hat alles bis ins kleinste Detail sich gemerkt und geplant. Wir wurden mit Kleinigkeiten überhaupt nicht belastet und konnten abgeben, da wir wussten, dass wir in den besten Händen sind und sollte ein Problem an diesem Tag entstehen, so wäre es sofort gelöst worden von Frau Starick mit ihrem gesamten Team. Allerherzlichsten Dank dafür. Wir kommen zum ersten Hochzeitstag wieder 💓

Ich habe meinen 60. Geburtstag in der Hotelanlage gefeiert. Die Organisation war bestens, der Service super und das Essen war richtig gut. Nochmals vielen Dank für die sehr gute Arbeit. Mike Debbert

Wir haben in der wunderschönen Hochzeitssuite übernachtet und waren alles in allem begeistert. Das Zimmer ist riesig und unglaublich geräumig, die Badewanne ein echter Traum und die Dusche einfach top. Alles ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und lädt sofort zum Entspannen ein. Das Frühstück war gut – es gab alles, was man sich wünscht, frisch und lecker zubereitet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer bereit, auf unsere Wünsche einzugehen. Auch um unsere Anliegen wurde sich gekümmert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Das Zimmer war leider recht hellhörig. Vor allem, wenn direkt über einem Familien mit Kindern wohnen, kann man die Schritte sehr deutlich hören, was früh morgens kurz vor sechs Uhr etwas störend sein kann. Trotzdem überwiegen die positiven Eindrücke deutlich – wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Ich habe am WE meinen 70. Geburtstag gefeiert. Es war alles perfekt organisiert einschl. der Kahnfahrt. Zimmer waren modern, sauber, einfach schön. Das Personal war hervorragend, soooo nett und freundlich. Jeder, auch der ausgefallenste Wunsch, wurde mir erfüllt. Das Essen einschl. Frühstück waren erstklassig! Ich hatte eine wunderschöne Feier und meine Gäste waren alle begeistert. Ich kann das Hotel mit seinem Personal in höchstem Maße weiter empfehlen. Nochmals ein großes Dankeschön!

Die Zimmer sind dem Preis entsprechend sehr gut. Der Service und das damit verbundene Personal sind super. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und in allen Belangen unterstützt. Der Standort bietet Raum für quasi unendlich viele Möglichkeiten.

Der Spreewald voll im Winterschlaf, zauberhaft weiß und eisig schön...gut sich hier aufwärmen zu können,denn alle anderen Gasthöfe in Lehde haben geschlossen. Gute Küche, nette Bedienung, danke, wir empfehlen euch gern weiter.

Es war alles soweit i.o. allerdings stand ein Schild für das Gurkenmuseum"geöffnet ab 17 uhr" auf nachfrage wurde gesagt im winter nicht. Warum macht entfernt mam dies über den winter nicht? Wir waren begeistert uns das Museum anzuschauen. Schade. Leider wurde uns beim Check in nicht mitgeteilt,dass man Parkplatzgebühr und sowas wir Kurtaxe zahlen muss. Heut zu tage scheint es nicht mehr üblich zu sein,kostenfrei auf dem Hotelparkplatz zu parken, obwohl man Gast da ist. Gern wieder Spreewald,dann aber ein anderes Hotel.

Wir waren von der Lage und der modernen klaren Ausstattung des Hotels und eben auch von dem Bad/WC positiv beeindruckt. Der Parkplatz ist direkt hinter dem Hotel und über einen kurzen Weg durchs Gelände zu Fuß erreichbar. Mit dem Auto fährt man eine wirklich kurze Strecke 2x links um das Gelände. Im Restaurant wurden wir am Abend super schnell, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen war hervorragend ebenso das Frühstücksbüffet. Es war sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Vielen Dank an das Team.

Beginnen wir mit dem Positiven: Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, mitten in der Natur und bietet eine tolle Möglichkeit zur Erholung. Mit dem Fokus auf die Zimmer lässt sich zudem feststellen, dass diese sehr sauber sind. Wo besteht noch Verbesserungsbedarf: Das Gelände ist sehr weitläufig, stellenweise unübersichtlich und insbesondere in der dunklen Jahreszeit zu schwach beleuchtet – Leider wird einem Gast zudem kein Lageplan etc. mitgegeben. Die Parkplatzmöglichkeiten sind zwar vorhanden, aber mitunter sehr weit weg vom eigentlichen Hotelbetrieb und nicht überdacht. Zudem kommt, dass hierfür pro Nacht 8€ erhoben werden – leider wird dies nicht vorab kommuniziert, eine alternative Möglichkeit gibt es leider auch nicht. Das Frühstück ist befriedigend, mehr aber auch nicht was Qualität und Quantität des Buffets betrifft. Die Zimmer sind „übersichtlich“ ausgestattet, die Matratze hat ihre besten Zeiten hinter sich und Privatsphäre im Badezimmer ist mit einer nicht abschließenden/abschließbaren Glasschiebetür nicht herstellbar. Kommen wir zu den Kritikpunkten: Zusammengefasst betreffen dies die Themen Kommunikation und Kundenservice: Wir haben explizit nach einer bestimmten Zimmerkategorie bei der telefonischen Buchung gefragt. Diese wurde uns zugesagt. Unsere Anreise erfolgte verkehrsbedingt recht spät, was wir telefonisch angekündigt haben während der Anreise, was nicht sehr freundlich aufgenommen worden ist seitens des Hotels – In vielen Hotel ist es üblich, dass man den Gast von sich aus kontaktiert, wenn die Anreise bis zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit nicht erfolgt ist. Infolgedessen wurde uns der Schlüssel lediglich übergeben und das Zimmer nicht (wie vielerorts in Hotels üblich) gezeigt. So fiel erst am Folgetag auf, dass der Safe nicht nutzbar war und die Ausstattung nicht jene war, die wir gebucht hatten. Bei Check-out haben wir daher sachlich vorgetragen, dass das Zimmer nicht das gewünschte gewesen sei, auch von der Ausstattung nicht der auf der Website zu findenden Definition der Zimmerkategorie entspricht und wir den Preis daher nicht nachvollziehen können. Zumal der Preis-pro-Nacht von der Preisliste auf der Website abwich. Die Reaktion des Personals war hierauf ein weiteres Mal sehr unprofessionell und in keinem Fall kundenfreundlich. Wir sind daher negativ gestimmt wieder gefahren und würden eine Weiterempfehlung nur sehr eingeschränkt geben wollen.

Die Hotelanlage Starick im Spreewald in Lehde ist ein idyllischer Rückzugsort, der Natur, Ruhe und Komfort perfekt miteinander verbindet. Schon die Lage ist wunderschön. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in einer Anlage, die wir gern weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

The hotel complex is very suitable for a relaxing holiday. The rooms are well-furnished and clean. I was bothered by the glass bathroom door, which didn't close completely. It took some getting used to, as did the fact that they charge extra for parking. €8 is quite steep. The restaurant experience left much to be desired. The waitstaff seemed preoccupied, even though there were only two guests. The cheese platter was good, but unfortunately, the butter was still frozen, and the two slices of bread were no bigger than a rusk.

Very nice, very good breakfasts, very friendly staff. We've already booked again.

The rooms are small but very clean and feature a stylish, modern bathroom. A complimentary glass of excellent house sparkling wine is offered upon arrival. Minibar in the room. Coffee making facilities are not available in the room. Exceptionally good breakfast with everything you could wish for. Charming outdoor area right on the water. Boat trips are available directly from the hotel. Good dinners are also available.

Positive: Great location, very friendly staff, beautiful outdoor area, renovated bathroom. Contrary: Rooms are very noisy, the doors are in desperate need of replacement. Overall, the 4-star rating is very questionable: No comfortable seating in the rooms, no kettle, no small amenities, no elevator, no air conditioning (as far as we can tell), and the TV has very poor picture quality. The lobby is a strange mishmash of stuffed animals and plastic dolls in Spreewald costumes. Overall, the value for money is questionable, and charging an extra €8 per night for parking is downright outrageous. It's a shame when a hotel relies on its excellent location.

Excellent service - very nice, well-maintained facility - we would be happy to come back

This hotel is beautifully located in the village of Lehde, about a 20-minute walk from Lübbenau. The decor is beautiful and modern. The rooms are a decent size and very clean. The breakfast is very varied and well-presented. The restaurant serves excellent food. The hotel also offers its own boat trips. Overall, we were very satisfied and would gladly return.

A super clean, idyllic, and romantic hotel, with rooms just as wonderful. We highly recommend it. We'll be happy to come back again and again.

So far, everything's fine there, BUT you should steer clear of the small stall in front of the Pickle Museum. The prices are extremely inflated, and the same items (mustard, horseradish, etc.) can sometimes be found for half price in other shops in Lübbenau! It's a disgrace for a "producer" to charge such prices!

We had a small attic room that was very cozy and clean. There was nothing to complain about at the breakfast buffet.

A very beautiful hotel complex right on the Spreewald. Our room even had a small sauna. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food in the hotel restaurant is very good.

My review may be a little late, but I don't want to miss the opportunity to thank the entire team at the Starick Hotel complex. You made it possible for me to have a wonderful birthday celebration on March 22, 2025, for my 60th anniversary, at your premises [Haus Hirschwinkel]. All my guests are still raving about your culinary specialties and service. The breakfast buffet on the morning of March 23, 2025, with a table for 28 guests, made this entire weekend unforgettable for me. Thank you so much for your service. I can only recommend this entire hotel complex in this beautiful part of the Spreewald to everyone. Keep up the good work, and see you sometime soon.

Closed event, food and service very good

The complex is idyllically located, practically the first hotel on the site, which means it has a monopoly position and this is mercilessly exploited financially. The price-performance ratio is therefore not always right. The prices quoted do not always match the advertisement on the internet. Above all: when paying, there are additional costs that were never stated or disclosed beforehand, such as additional costs for children in the suite at a price of €299 per night, even though we had expressly booked for 4 people. And then the beds aren't even made up for the children, so we had to do that ourselves. Parking costs €8 per night with no notice. You do pay, but it's about price transparency. The cyclist and paddler rooms are clearly overpriced for their size. The cake ordered for the celebration from the pastry chef is not served, instead we are served ancient cakes and some of them are from the supermarket and then we are initially charged double the price. Apologies for such deliberate customer fraud: None. Unfortunately. A company like this doesn't need something like that, and I've never experienced it before. It's a shame. It seriously tarnishes the otherwise good impression.

The hotel is located directly on a stream, a 10-minute walk from the Spreewald Open-Air Museum. Boat trips can be booked directly on site, and canoe rentals are available on-site.

We can only speak highly of the Quappenschenke. The extremely friendly and attentive staff looked after us. Despite the busyness, they remained friendly throughout. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return. We had a wonderful seat by the canal.

Hotel with a wide choice of rooms

Dear Readers, I wanted to check into this hotel around 8:00 PM today. I've never experienced anything like this before. A note on the automation said I'd come right back. After 30 minutes, the door was still locked. The impudence is beyond compare. Either they have no staff or they have incompetent staff. Minus 10 out of ten for this performance. Abysmal. If you don't need it, then stay away. Honest answer. The joke performance of the Spreewald.

A very beautiful and quiet hotel complex. The parking spaces are very narrow and difficult to find at first. We spent one night here and had a so-called "cyclist's room." The building was very nice from the outside. The hallway was a bit narrow and not particularly inviting, and the room was quite small for the price. In contrast to the other rooms in the advertisements, we were somewhat surprised by the slightly rustically furnished room. Nevertheless, everything was there. The organization at the reception was a bit bumpy both on arrival and departure. And the directions given were quite difficult to find. However, after a bit of a wait (which was, of course, very unfortunate, considering we were tired from the journey and hungry for breakfast), we were kindly answered. All in all, a lovely hotel and a pleasant stay.

I can always recommend it. Ideally connected for hiking or cycling tours.

A very nice, idyllic hotel in the Spreewald. The rooms are modern and the beds are very good. The staff is friendly and always tries to fulfill your wishes. Very good breakfast, tasty and fresh. We also enjoyed it in the evening.

Blank idyll and a wonderful Advent weekend at “Staricks” with clever surprises. People here understand how to gut the goose, but do you really have to continue with the guest? A spontaneous, temporary price increase of almost twice as much - made us painfully aware that there seems to be something very small in print next to the small print. A field study we carried out at breakfast showed that places are scarce... very scarce... so queue up - you still remember it. The woman/man/other can end the day itself with a “peppery” nightcap at the homeopathically operated bar. If that's not enough for you, you can treat yourself to the exclusive piccolo from the minibar in your 3-star room for just EUR 8. And now that it doesn't really matter, it doesn't matter if you have the room right above the kitchen, otherwise the tired guest would never know that the hard-working guest hands start their day's work really early. The parking fee of 5 EUR/day, on the other hand, was quite a bargain. Conclusion - pre-Christmas gain across the board.

Had a very nice short break here, the room was clean, there was everything your heart could desire for breakfast, dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good and the service was also good. Would love to come back.

We docked here with our boat for a lunch break and had a delicious meal. Whether deer goulash, grützwurst or quark, everything tasted great. If you like grützwurst, you should go here. That was the best I've ever eaten 👍.The service was great and there is also the opportunity to linger in the outdoor area.Nice decorations around the area.

Breakfast was very good, the staff was courteous and the room was clean and functional. Location very, very good.

Wonderful, very well-run house. The service is excellent in all areas, the food is excellent, the rooms are modern and even have a small terrace, great with dogs. There were 2 bowls and a basket ready for the dog. I would have liked to stay longer and would like to come back. Thanks

A beautiful hotel in the middle of the Spreewald, service is great and everyone is always very nice.

We celebrated our wedding in the hotel complex in April. The location is wonderful, right on the water. The bride came to the wedding ceremony on the Spreewald barge. The wedding dinner was very tasty and left nothing to be desired. Service staff during the wedding were very friendly and quick. Consultations with the bride and groom were held throughout the evening. We have one negative point: the liquor was very expensive.

Recommended for short breaks and family celebrations... Good breakfast 👍🏻 nice staff, clean rooms and hotel complex. Various pubs/restaurants/snack bars in the immediate vicinity 👍🏻 nice and quiet and yet only a 15 minute walk to Lübbenau. The only negative points: small window in the room and you also have to pay for the parking space...

I can only say the place is good I wasn't inside the hotel

This was my second time here... This time I had a paddler and cyclist room. In terms of furnishings, the slightly smaller room is identical to the larger rooms. WiFi can be expanded here in the outbuilding... Very good in the main building. The breakfast is rich and there is nothing that I missed. I'm already looking forward to my next stay

We were guests at a larger celebration. The hotel complex and the ambience were fantastic. The organization of the celebration and the decoration of the celebration location were really great! The food was incredibly delicious. The young ladies who served us tirelessly in the Gasthaus zum Hirschwinkel restaurant and during the celebration were very friendly, attentive and quick. Unfortunately, there is also negative feedback: The service staff at breakfast talked in front of all the guests about the sensitivities of their uniforms and were very rude to each other. The same applies to both men at the reception - dealing with guests when they have requests or with their own colleagues is very harsh and thus lowers the overall level. There seems to be a generally rough tone. The breakfast was very clear for a 4 star hotel. Our room had a waterbed that we had no knowledge of, but it was apparently already missing water - so we swam back and forth on the bed and barely got a wink of sleep. When the receptionist commented, they said that the bed should have been disposed of long ago and there should be a real bed in it - now you can't change that - something like that has to be checked beforehand?!

Great “witch house”... we felt very comfortable. Spreewald evening was great... we sat very romantically... the service was perfect! Thanks to the careful, fast, extremely friendly lady who also perfectly organized the large group that sat with us. ...only one very small negative point... the buffet, which was very tasty, didn't last until dessert, which wasn't refilled. But...have a nice day with you in the Spreewald! Highly recommended...even for a short break! Thanks!

We celebrated our wedding in the hotel complex and it was an unforgettable day. We would like to thank Ms. Starick for the fantastic organization. A huge thank you also goes to the whole team that accompanied our celebration. The food and service was great.

We were guests here over Pentecost and we were all very satisfied. Very nice and clean hotel complex, everything is perfect here... Friendly staff, very good cuisine from breakfast to dinner in the Hirschwinkel. I can only recommend it. Location is also great.

This year there were a lot of mosquitoes, but they didn't spoil our fun celebrating in a great atmosphere!

A great hotel with a rich and varied breakfast buffet. We really liked our “wild boar suite with children’s room”. Only the mosquitoes in front of the house were really annoying. Luckily some of the windows have insect nets so we were still able to ventilate well at night. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the available seating in front of the house directly on the river. The beds were very comfortable, we only found the duvets to be too warm. The WiFi was also a bit weak and not available everywhere in the room. But these are just small things. You can rent paddle boats of various sizes (1-4 people) directly at the hotel behind the cucumber museum and use them to explore the river and canals. The area is ideal for water hiking. We went on a 2-hour paddling tour with our little one and were really impressed by the landscape and the atmosphere on the water. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Personally, the beds are too soft for me, especially the pillows. Otherwise the hotel is simply great and highly recommended as a starting point for activities in the Spreewald. The staff are super friendly, the service is excellent. Very good rich breakfast.

It was very nice here. Breakfast was delicious 😋 the rooms were modern, comfortable and clean. The beautiful surroundings invite you to take a leisurely hike. We'd love to come back.

A good hotel complex with typical Spreewald charm. 4* are a bit exaggerated for me, the accommodations (some) are the result of renovation work rather than the result of hotel planning. But, this is the Spreewald, not everything is perfect, but everything is rustic. The location is very good, when all the guesthouses are open it is even better. Unfortunately, this was not the case during the holiday week after Easter. The breakfast left nothing to be desired and the staff is courteous and very nice. When paying, it turned out that the parking space was not free. A small downside, but you can still get over 5 euros per day...

Unfortunately it was very busy and so the service had a lot to do and some things took a while...but everyone was very friendly...food was good and tasted...I can't say anything about the rooms as we only went to eat there were....

Beautiful hotel with excellent service! Goods i. We've been here for the second time in February and we're always happy to come back! 100 percent recommended! But I also have to mention extremely positively the good support from Maria at the reception! You just feel at home! Thanks again for the good support!

Great place to isolate, breathe fresh air, walk in nature, and focus. Cell reception is very limited. Hotel wifi is constrained. Local game food.

The facility is very beautiful, even in winter. The alternating breakfast makes you look forward to the day ahead. We recommend.

Quiet location in the Spreewald, but Lübbenau is still within walking distance, about 10 minutes. Very nice and competent staff. Breakfast buffet plentiful and tasty.

You have to stop here and spend the night if you are in the Spreewald

A double room comfort category 5 was booked. The reception at the hotel took a bit of getting used to. Employees are more Nordic calm than friendly. I had to repark the car because I took the wrong parking space. To then find out that parking costs €5 per night. Ok, let's go to the room. 25sqm for 155€ in mid-November, I'm expecting something now! Room on the ground floor, 2 public toilets opposite the boiler room and utility room next to it, no chance of sleeping in (room 71). The room itself is rather spartan, cleanliness is average. Nothing found that would justify the price. Breakfast wasn't bad, unfortunately the staff was a bit strange in their communication. Overall, the price is absolutely a disgrace, breakfast makes up for it a little. Location is of course great. Anyone who rates 5 stars here is probably more likely to rate the Spreewald and never this hotel. No recommendation from me.
