Gasthof Mühle in Lübbenau/Spreewald

I was there with my friends on Women's Day and can only report positive things. The restaurant is cozy, the girls on staff were super nice and the food was very tasty and imaginatively prepared. If I ever come to Lübbenau again, I'll definitely be there again. Tip: be sure to make a reservation on busy days, otherwise no chance.

We were only there for dinner and can't comment on the rooms. The menu seems to be designed according to the concept of “regional recipes interpreted in a modern or higher quality way”. The brawn from game meat and the herring in linseed oil are very tasty and beautifully prepared. We weren't that enthusiastic about sea salt crumble on the whipped cream. For some dishes we prefer the really traditional recipes. The service is very friendly and the ambience is tasteful.

We were there for coffee yesterday with our baby and toddler. Since there weren't the colorful children's ice cream sundaes that my son wanted, the friendly colleague suggested that he get some ice cream from the ice cream shop next door. So we were able to enjoy delicious lentils and coffee and our oldest had the ice cream he wanted and the four of us had a lovely time. Thank you for being so helpful and child-friendly.

The dinner was super delicious. Schnitzel and Grützeurst are highly recommended. Service is also top.

We visited this small, very comfortably furnished restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and dog-friendly service. The food was very tasty.

Prices are high, the food is less so. €12.90 for 2! Potatoes with quark, which unfortunately wasn't really good either. Too bad!

“Simply fantastic – Pension Mühle! We had from January 5th. until January 6th a wonderful stay at the Pension Mühle. The accommodation was clean and cozy, so we immediately felt at home. We would particularly like to emphasize the warm atmosphere - our family was greeted with a smile in the morning, which made the start of the day perfect. The breakfast was an absolute highlight! A rich buffet with everything your heart desires, including a champagne breakfast. We were particularly impressed that fresh fried eggs, scrambled eggs with crispy bacon and even a fresh salad were prepared directly to order. Everything was incredibly tasty – kudos to the kitchen! We would definitely like to come back and can only warmly recommend Pension Mühle.”

We visited the Gasthof Mühle for lunch. The guest room is divided into two levels and makes a bright and friendly impression. The waitress was very attentive and gave us a nice table for two. The menu has a good selection of dishes, some of which are regional. We chose the Spreewald cucumber plate as a starter and the tilapia and goose liver as main courses. Everything was beautifully presented and very tasty. Overall we were very satisfied and would like to come back.

The food tastes delicious and is worth every cent. We'll definitely be back to continue sampling the menu! :)

We spent four days here in Lübbenau, at the campsite at the castle park. We also had great spring weather at the beginning of April. We cycled a lot through the town and went on an entertaining boat tour. The people here put in a lot of effort. In the mill you can sit comfortably in the beer garden. The food was very tasty, beautifully prepared.

The ambience was great! It's small, but super cozy and inviting. Kid friendly? -> Absolutely!!! At the beginning my child received a children's card with pens with which she was allowed to color the children's card. The service is super friendly and always keeps an eye on everything - if you have any questions, they are available immediately and are great to help. The food was very very tasty! A huge compliment to the kitchen. I will definitely eat there again next time and would happily recommend it to everyone!

We were in the restaurant. The food was very good, the steak from the daily menu was very tender, the herb puree was a surprise.

If you're lucky, you'll get a table without a reservation. Food is of a high standard at a reasonable price.

The food is simply great. From salad, fish to steak marinated in Guinness...it's also clear that there has to be a great draft Guinness...and service Not a given...but super nice...eyes always in the right place...great keep it up

We had booked a table for today, January 6th, 2024 at around 7:15 p.m. The inn was completely empty. We were warmly welcomed and, of course, served quickly 😀 As a starter we had a cucumber plate. It was enough for us as a couple. The main course was rib-eye steak with vegetables, aioli and sweet potato fries. I asked for another side dish and chose fried potatoes. The change cost nothing. Fried potatoes, sweet potato fries and vegetables were deliciously prepared and well seasoned. Nothing to complain about! But the steaks were awesome. Perfectly grilled, nicely salted and huge!!!! 😳 I'm guessing around 400 grams per steak. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. 😍 A little tip on the side. Always ask the guest how he would like his steak. 😉 Some people might want it through or bloody. Ours was ideal. Thanks again for the lovely evening 🥰 Update September 20, 2024: We had the steak again. Again we weren't asked, but it was perfectly prepared for us. We would love to come back 😍

We spontaneously went there for dinner in the evening. Wow, delicious food for the eye and the palate came out of the kitchen. Furnishings also very nice and tasteful. If we're back in Lübbenau, we'll be happy to do so again

Very good shop. The waiter is very nice and courteous. The food was also extremely good. Upon request, extra parmesan was also available at no extra charge. But you can recommend it.

A wonderful place in the middle of the town. Atmospheric room, everything you need to make your stay successful. Very good breakfast. Delicious marmalades. Very nice service. You can leave your luggage after check-out. A place to lock your bikes for an overnight stay. 🙈😃

We were looking for a nice restaurant on Monday. We found everything we were looking for here. Nice service, good drinks and very good food! The food was outstanding!!!

Small inn just a few minutes from the harbor. Centrally located. Very nice, friendly helpful staff. Room is perfectly fine for one night (unfortunately there is very little space on the right and left of the bed against the wall). Bathroom big for that. So far everything is clean, of course you could do some cosmetic repairs here and there😉 Or perhaps remove the Christmas decorations in midsummer...😀 Unfortunately it got very loud early in the morning (deliveries) It would also be nice if you could darken the room... The highlight was the breakfast, fresh scrambled eggs/or fried eggs. Boiled eggs... Sausage/cheese 3 different jams Muesli, cornflakes Raw vegetables, Spreewald cucumbers... Different yogurt, different juices... Very rich and tasty 😋

We had dinner in the restaurant on Monday afternoon. We had a great waiter. He was quick, careful and super friendly. The meal was a culinary experience for me. The restaurant was full, but all the components on the plate were hot and, above all, fresh. Absolute recommendation.

We went to the restaurant to have a drink. Unfortunately the drinks were very thin. We asked you to adjust something. This was charged directly to the invoice with double the amount. When we asked, we were given very strange and incomprehensible reasons and the staff contradicted what we were served in both the quantities and the drink we ordered. (A certain gin was ordered, which we obviously didn't get - but paid for twice. When asked, the service employee started to argue very wildly and in the end we left very dissatisfied Local. Unfortunately we can only leave one star. It is not right to put drinks on the menu that are not given to the guest.

Very nice restaurant. It is centrally located and in the courtyard you can sit nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. It's nice to sit by the water, but all the boats, some with loud music, are tiring. That can't happen here.

Super delicious food, the waiter was super child-friendly and took good care of us and our wishes. We spontaneously went for a meal here and managed to get a seat for 8 people. The prices are a bit more expensive, but the food is worth it. We would love to come here again because we felt very comfortable.

Delicious special food, courteous, friendly service and dishes in a great atmosphere! You have to be able to live with intense prices. It was worth it to us.

We stayed at the Gasthofmühle as a family and were given a very friendly welcome. It is a beautiful and quaint building. It's very central. So you can reach everything on foot. The apartment was very well furnished, although in addition to the books for adults there could also be two or three books for children in the cupboard ;-) Please take care of the unbearable smell in the hallway and the cleanliness of the bathroom (we were particularly disappointed with the shower, which was not particularly cleaned).

We stopped here after a boat trip. The food (zander) was good, the service was friendly. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not barrier-free and at times there is an unpleasant smell from the existing drain.

Unfortunately, our room was not very well maintained. We don't need a luxury hotel, but there should be a certain level of cleanliness. The refrigerator in the hallway, which is intended for hotel guests, was unused at the time we were there and was still connected to the electricity. The old device is so loud that it robs you of sleep. The rooms are generally very noisy. The restaurant is good and the staff is friendly. The food was okay too.

Went here to eat something spontaneously. Starters and main course. It's been a long time since I've had such great food without receiving a recommendation or rating. The amount of food was suppii. Price-wise, completely okay. For us, the restaurant in Lübbenau is the BEST in town.

An order: 2x pork neck schnitzel with white asparagus (1x with boiled potatoes and 1x with fried potatoes) Positive: + Location and ambience + Sanitary facilities clean + Service mediocre good and friendly…so neither outstandingly good nor noticeably bad, but could be improved + Service was quick, (food suspiciously too fast) + adapting boiled potatoes to fried potatoes was no problem Abnormalities (partly negative) - The fact that one person likes it saltier than the other is not up for debate. Adding salt to dishes is always possible. Oversalting would be worse, but that wasn't the problem. What cannot be corrected so quickly at the dinner table is the quantity and cooking time. - for a regional restaurant I think you can expect how asparagus is prepared. Unfortunately this was far too firm and cold. And instead of 5 there could have been 6 poles. - The schnitzel was warm but could be bigger. - The portion of fried potatoes and boiled potatoes could also have been larger, but they were well prepared in and of themselves. All in all, for a 25€ dish I expected more, more quality and quantity. Maybe other dishes there are better. Unfortunately, more appearance than reality🫤 I think three stars are justified for this.

Nice ambience, good service, food looked delicious... unfortunately boar meat had been used in the wild brawn. It smells and tastes urine-like. It's a shame it was supposed to be a nice evening. We cannot recommend the brawn.

Today we had dinner at the Gasthof Mühle during our Burg-Lübbenau bike tour. The service was very friendly and very competent in the advice. The asparagus soup was delicious and to the point. The dishes of wild aspic with fried potatoes and the sour milk cheese with bread and lard were not only lovingly and creatively prepared, but also delighted the palate. Everything was rounded off with delicious coffee from the portafilter machine, typical regional yeast plins and linseed oil parfait. All in all it was a relaxed and recommendable visit. We will be back. Thank you very much for this experience.

We were at a restaurant. We ordered a salad with asparagus and meat with potatoes and cucumbers. The meat was good. Asparagus salad not good. Lots of water from washing lettuce and croutons from the supermarket. Tasteless dressing.

Highly recommended, but reserve if possible. Service is always friendly and attentive despite the busyness. The food was super tasty and always freshly prepared. Anyone who comes here will experience service and no mass processing. We'd love to come back. Thank you for the pleasant evening.

The location is good, very central in Lübbenau. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. Had fried chicken breast with noodles and tomato cream sauce. Unfortunately the food arrived lukewarm :/ The sauce was completely unseasoned and unfortunately didn't taste like anything. This makes me wonder if they even tasted it while cooking. The service was good at the beginning, but in the end we had to wait forever for service and finally went in to pay because no one came :S
