The hotel is centrally located and easily accessible. The rooms are clean and attractively furnished. The furnishings are of high quality, there is a TV, and a complimentary bottle of water is provided as a nice touch. The quality of sleep is good, and the low noise level allows for undisturbed relaxation. Check-in was quick, uncomplicated, and competent. The breakfast is well-stocked and offers a solid selection. For health-conscious guests, an expanded "healthy food" menu with more fresh vegetables and unprocessed products without added sugar would be a welcome addition. The staff in the breakfast area is friendly and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The wellness and fitness area is well-equipped. A particularly positive aspect is that the hotel has a sauna, a fitness room, and a pool. Bathrobes and towels can be rented at the reception for a small fee; at other hotels, this service is free, so a small adjustment here would be welcome. Parking is limited. There are limited parking spaces directly in front of the hotel, but there is a public outdoor parking lot about 500 meters away. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money and is recommended for both short and long stays.

A very nice, renovated hotel. Right next to the spa gardens. The swimming pool and sauna are new. The food was delicious. The rooms with balconies are spacious.

We're staying at the hotel for a week, and it's good and I can recommend it. The staff is friendly. The sauna area is sufficient for me, and the fitness center is exceptionally good. There's hardly anyone in the small pool, which I like. The rooms are clean. I was surprised by the good food in the restaurant today. If I need something at breakfast, I just ask, and the service was good.

Very nicely located, friendly staff, clean hotel. A few normal signs of wear and tear, but everything was perfectly fine. 5 minutes to the spa gardens and the city center.

Only a five-minute walk to the center, yet totally quiet 👍. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, but unfortunately, my single room doesn't have air conditioning. The breakfast is lovingly prepared, and the staff takes the time to fulfill your wishes. I can't comment on the restaurant. In the center, you can find everything from kebabs to Thai and Indian restaurants. I had a pleasant stay because the sauna and pool area were hardly used, and I enjoyed the peace and quiet there, too.

The hotel is located in the spa area. Beautiful walks are possible. Breakfast is the same every day. There's no variety in the cheese and sausage platter. The selection is unimaginative. The wholemeal rolls are gone at 8:45 a.m. On the seventh day, there was no bread or fruit salad, and the breakfast buffet was very meager. I expected more. The room was fine. I won't be back.

We just left with two children. Our room was great, clean and tidy. The staff was super friendly and helpful!!! It couldn't be better. The food was okay, but we had hoped for a little more. The wellness area serves its purpose, but is in dire need of renovation in some areas.

This hotel is a little gem. The decor is understatedly tasteful; you're spared the large-scale "art" on the walls and other dubious decorative objects :) The rooms and bathrooms are very bright, spacious, and equipped to a high standard. From a kettle and facial tissues to a refrigerator and hairdryer, everything you need is there. The beds are king-size and have good mattresses. The entire hotel is pleasantly quiet; you can barely hear other guests or staff. The breakfast room is also very bright and cheerfully furnished. The breakfast buffet is fresh, varied, well-organized, and delicious. The small swimming pool is inviting and, like the entire hotel, is meticulously kept clean. The center is just a stone's throw away on foot. If you don't want to park at the hotel, you'll find a parking space a little further up the road for €1 per day. The staff are unprofessional in the best sense of the word: instead of a cold smile and a standard greeting, you always get help when you need something, no matter who you ask. I feel very comfortable at Villa Elsa and would love to come back. Thank you for the wonderful, relaxing time!

A hotel that's very dated and doesn't invite you to stay. The rooms are poorly and spartanly furnished. The bathroom was tiny and very unkempt. Many things were chipped and broken, and the cleanliness was rather mediocre. The breakfast was standard, with undrinkable vending machine coffee and everything from a carton. For €170 a night in a double room, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Rooms facing the street were very noisy. There were always people talking loudly outside the hotel, and the street is often busy. Sleeping with the window open was impossible. A shame for such a beautiful hotel. The sauna area was okay. What bothered me was that it was a textile-only area. Otherwise, it was quite acceptable.

We spent one night at the hotel. Unfortunately, the check-in process took a bit longer because the receptionist had to discuss personal matters, such as birthdays, with the guests in front of us. It's not right that guests behind us have to wait longer. This also meant that we only had 20 minutes to use the wellness area. When we asked if we could use the area a little later than 9 p.m., we were shown no leniency, even though the inconvenience for the staff would have been minimal. The parking situation is also worth mentioning – €12 is a bit excessive for one night. The hotel smelled slightly musty in most areas. The breakfast was simple and not very lovingly prepared. The rooms and their furnishings were good. However, for around €160 a night, it was a real disappointment. The building has charm and potential, but is in need of renovation. The elevator started shaking strangely, as if it was about to get stuck.

Everything was functional. I missed the personal touch. The wellness area is good. The pool was worth its weight in gold, given the high (32*) outside temperatures.

Very friendly staff. The rooms are very clean and spacious. There's even a large bottle of water at reception, as well as a kettle, tea bags, and instant coffee. I slept very well in the comfortable bed. The indoor pool is nice and warm. The nice relaxation room and clean showers and changing rooms are available. The breakfast buffet is very varied. I didn't miss anything at all. It's not far from the center. Just 400 meters and I'm there. The hotel offers very good value for money.

Well located. The train station is a 10-minute walk away (you won't notice it). Big room. Orderly. Bathroom is also tidy - personally I think the fittings are much too big for the small bathroom - I used the double room alone - so it was enough. There is a small pool. And a wellness area (you have to let us know in advance about the sauna).Fitness equipment is also available. Breakfast good - nothing extraordinary. Drinks of all kinds are available. I didn't find the rolls that tasty.

The hotel has its own parking spaces, which are limited and available for a fee. The reception was very friendly and accommodating. The house is nice, a little older but stylishly furnished. The bathroom is large and modern. The location is very quiet. The spa area is a bit old, but still okay for the price. Can definitely be recommended.

This hotel is really cozy. The Salzgrotte is something special and I loved being able to use it along with the sauna and steam room. The breakfast is cute, they've got a lot of options and the scrambled eggs were perfectly delicious.

A clean hotel with a lovely wellness area, sauna, indoor pool, and fitness center! The salt sauna was closed, but it's certainly well-maintained! Everything, including the room, was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating! Absolutely well located, 5 minutes from town and right next to the spa gardens! And it lacked a personal touch—it's quite sterile, with no decor or ambiance! At times, it felt a bit like a hospital or rehab facility!!! But that's a matter of taste! Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Great hotel, attentive, friendly and helpful people work there. There is a delicious breakfast, including vegan products. People like to address food intolerances. A small but nice wellness and fitness area, very well maintained. The hotel is located right next to the spa park and the city center. We had booked a small room, but due to the hallway that was spacious and led to the large daylight bathroom, it was very large, almost like an apartment. Room cleaning is done on request, bathrobes and sauna towels are available free of charge at reception upon request.

There were three of us for a 2 night stay and we traveled with two cars. When we checked in we were informed about the parking situation. Unfortunately there was only one parking permit available, so we wanted to use a hotel parking space (€12/day) for the second car. On the second day we were asked to drive the car away because the parking space had already been reserved again. Nobody wanted to know anything more about our conversation from the day before. Unfortunately, the hotel did not admit that they had perhaps talked past each other, but only pointed blame in our direction, even though we were prepared to pay the parking fee. Interestingly, the much-needed parking space remained available for the remainder of our stay. On the first evening we had dinner in the hotel restaurant. At the hotel's request, saying that the food would be ready quicker, we pre-ordered our food. In the end we had to wait an hour for our food, which ultimately came to us cold and was obviously a frozen meal. The prices for the dishes on the menu are between €15 and €22, which is clearly excessive for the quality and the long waiting time and is not justified. The wellness area was fine, nothing extraordinary. Unfortunately, both the pool and the lounge were so cold that we went back to our room after half an hour. On the second day we preferred to go to the thermal baths. In addition, each of us booked a massage, which was uncomplicated and is highly recommended. The room itself was clean and modernly furnished, there was a welcome water bottle and a kettle as well as some teas. Unfortunately it was also very cold in the rooms. All in all the rooms are ok but too expensive. The service leaves a lot to be desired. We won't come back.

Great hotel. You can quickly walk to the center. Breakfast, everything you need is there. In my opinion, the wellness area is only intended for a short stay. For a longer stay in the wellness area, I prefer the thermal baths in Bad Kissingen.

Unfortunately I was disappointed. Only the room was very good, clean, with a balcony. The food was OK. However, communicating with the service was very difficult because they only spoke poor German. Instead of a dip as a repeat order, I received salad dressing for 5 times the price. The so-called whirlpool was completely outdated. The temperature was extremely cool at 24 degrees, we were promised 29 degrees, and the temperature in the swimming pool was so cool that after 30 minutes, even though I had to go to the room in my bathrobe, I had to take a hot shower for 30 minutes to avoid catching a cold. Salt cave costs an extra 9 euros, sauna is tiny. Both had to be registered 1 hour in advance. Infrared cabin defective. Nothing inviting that corresponds to a wellness area. Massage and cosmetics fully booked 6 weeks ago, with 1 single worker. Water and tea could be purchased in the swimming area for 1.50 euros. Parking costs 12 euros per night. Reception unfriendly, no welcome, instead 1 sentence: You are too early!! Collecting the service at the meal was a disaster, newcomers, it took forever until she could calculate the change. Very disappointed for the price of an expensive double room for 2 nights. Breakfast ok. Coffee good. All in all, we won't be coming back, it's a shame, the homepage is very promising.

Update September 2024 This time room 211...with a small balcony and large window. There is also a window in the bathroom. Rooms were great as before and just as well furnished. A comfortable bed in which you can sleep very well. This time I was also able to test out the wellness area and I really liked it. I reserved the salt cave and was able to spend a very pleasant 45 minutes there. The fitness room is clean and has a lot to offer. There is a sauna and also a steam sauna. Everything was clean there too...even in the showers. There is a changing room with a shower and sink as well as cupboards for valuables. The pool is beautifully landscaped and in the evenings a "ceiling of stars" shines over the pool. The entire team (from room cleaning, the caretaker, the staff in the restaurant to the reception and the boss) is, as before, very nice and helpful. You feel good. A nice hotel within easy walking distance of the city center and the spa gardens. The rooms are very large and in room 111 (single room) I had a huge balcony with a lounger, table and chair. There is even a small fridge as well as a kettle and tea in the room. In addition to the bed, there is also a small sofa (I think this is the EZ Plus category). There is also a great swimming pool, but we didn't use it (as we were just traveling). The breakfast room was pleasant and the breakfast was delicious. Sunday was a little better than during the week due to a larger selection of food, but the quality was consistently good. All the staff...including the boss (breakfast room, reception, cleaning) were very nice and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

Stopped there on the way to Allgäu. Everything was great, nice staff, rooms were very large (we also had a kitchenette) with a balcony. It is advisable to reserve a parking space, otherwise you have to stand on the street...thank you

It's surprising that your sense of "righteousness" doesn't stop at your breakfast. I'm also not used to it and I don't like being addressed by my first name, as your waitress did with her unkempt clothes at breakfast. I only ate dry baked goods out of disgust. By the way, I called your house before booking and asked how it was to book, as I didn't know how many days I would stay as my mother was in the hospital. Nevertheless, you said I should book with "Booking com". I don't know whether your furniture is new. In any case, the bathroom wasn't new, and from the look of it everything looked old and run down. Not to mention accessibility. I only booked your house because everything near the hospital was already fully booked and I didn't have a car and wanted to reach the hospital on foot. Perhaps you are lucky that the majority of your customers no longer have such good eyesight... Incidentally, when I checked out, the cleaning lady was sitting on the sofa in the lobby - I assume that she then cleaned the room straight away and that you rented it out even though I paid for it for the following day. I have also never experienced it in any hotel - oh well, you're not a hotel, but a "villa", the conditions may be different - where the duvet on the second bed was removed when booking a single room. The attitude towards the customer hidden there is obvious. Shameful! I booked a room from July 28th to August 1st, 2024 because my mother had a hospital stay. However, my mother was already born on July 31st. discharged from the hospital, initially it was said that I could leave a day earlier, but this was then rejected the next day. Even though I had paid for the room by August 1st, 2024, I was called on July 31st. on my cell phone (!) and asked emphatically when I was leaving so that the room could be cleaned. I suspect that they wanted to rent out the room twice. When I got my luggage, the cleaning lady was sitting downstairs on the sofa, probably waiting to clean my room... Overall, apart from this embarrassing and shabby pettiness, I can't recommend the hotel. Not a good crowd, rooms and the whole house smelled of a mixture of old furniture and disinfectants. After returning home, I had to wash all of my clothes because this disgusting smell had settled everywhere. I only drank dry rolls and a coffee for breakfast; the sight of the other dishes almost made my stomach turn. The whole house is shabby, the location is only close to the hospital, but there are better houses there too, which were unfortunately fully booked. If you are late in booking, you unfortunately have to take the remaining stock.

We had booked ourselves into a “suite with balcony” at short notice for around an impressive 230 euros per night. The lady at reception was very nice, the room was ok. After returning to the hotel from dinner around 10 p.m., I was looking forward to a shower and then a film in bed, snuggled up in a cozy bathrobe. The hotel is called a wellness hotel and it is announced that bathrobes are available. However, I couldn't find any bathrobes in our room and no one could be reached at reception, not even by phone. When I checked out the next morning, I made this point and thought that a small, obligatory discount on the bill would be appropriate. As a reminder: “Suite with balcony for 230 euros”. This small I was also initially promised a discount, but then rejected again. Incomprehensible. And what a shame. Apart from that, I have to say that breakfast wasn't great either. Carelessly presented, selection and quality of food mediocre at best. I also noticed that a number of foods are offered packaged in individual portions at breakfast (e.g. cream cheese, coffee cream, tea sausage). There is still room for improvement in the area of ​​sustainability. Conclusion: Our night in this hotel was unfortunately a completely overpriced disappointment.

A dream hotel. Location perfect. A quick walk to the park or city center. The rooms have plenty of space and are well equipped. The food in the in-house restaurant was very good. The staff very friendly. When it became known that it was my wife's birthday on the day of check-in, she was surprised with a small gift from the hotel. Our table in the restaurant in the evening was also beautifully and festively decorated. Toys were also provided for our little one while we were visiting the restaurant. A big thank you again. The staff are friendly, the rooms are quite clean. A single room is definitely enough for one person, the food tastes very good, but it's a bit expensive. Otherwise, in my opinion, this hotel is recommended. Unfortunately 1 star deducted because the mattress and pillow are absolutely uncomfortable!!

Hotel liegt sehr Zentral. Zimmer sind sauber und sauber. Bad war recht großzügig. Wellnessbereich war sehr gut. Bis aufs Dampfbad, etwas kalt und kaum Nebel.

Sehr schönes und zentral gelegenes Hotel, die Zimmer haben eine ausreichende Größe und sind sehr sauber. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Betten bieten auch für große Menschen genügend Platz und haben eine gute Matratze. Der Wellness Bereich ist schön und verfügt über alles was man braucht um sich eine Auszeit zu nehmen. Der eine Stern Abzug beruht sich auf dessen, dass der Pool mit 26 Grad einfach zu kalt ist um sich zu entspannen. Zum Schwimmen aber perfekt. Das Frühstück geht in Ordnung, es nicht übermäßig viel Angebot, aber doch für jeden etwas dabei. Alles in allem, ein schönes Hotel zu einem guten Preis Leistungsverhältnis .

Grundsätzlich hatten wir ein schönes großes Zimmer. Aber dies ist ein sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Küchenzeile billig und nicht richtig angeschlossen. Saunabereich über die Jahre nicht richtig gelüftet wurden und die Liegen fast alle kaputt. Fahrstuhl auf der einen Seite dauerhaft defekt. Wellnessbehandlungen nicht möglich keinen erreicht und man musste sich selbst kümmern. Frühstück nach 9 Uhr nichts mehr da, sehr wenig Auswahl und Kaffeemaschine 2 Tage kaputt. Beim Service war nur eine Dame von allen auf Zack und hinterher es den Gästen angenehm zu gestalten. Hier hat für uns das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leider nicht gepasst.

Habe mich kurzfristig entschlossen, dieses Hotel zu buchen. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Das Einzelzimmer war geräumig, modern und sehr sauber. Personal war freundlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt , das Frühstücksbüffet wüsste öfter aufgefüllt werden. Wenn ich nach Bad Kissingen komme, werde ich wieder das Hotel buchen

Es klappte alles gut nach ein paar anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten, freundliche Mitarbeiter, große saubere Zimmer und gutes Essen
