Culinary Experience at Bratwurstglöckle Bad Kissingen ​My visit to Bratwurstglöckle in Bad Kissingen was a complete success, especially from a culinary perspective. I enjoyed two Franconian specialties there: Blaue Zipfel (blue squash) and a Schweineschäufele (pork shoulder). ​The Blaue Zipfel (blue squash) were an absolute highlight and really impressed me. Although I had never tried them before, I thoroughly enjoyed this traditional dish. ​The Schweineschäufele (pork shoulder) was simply sensational: The crust was perfectly crispy, and the meat was tender and juicy. ​Only the Kaiserschmarrn (smothered pancake) disappointed me a bit, as it was a bit dry instead of fluffy. But otherwise, it was a very successful culinary experience overall.

Franconian cuisine at its finest. We went there twice this weekend. Roast pork, Sauerbraten, Schäufele (pork shoulder), liver dumpling soup, and Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes). All delicious. Great atmosphere in a traditional Franconian restaurant.

We were lucky to get a table for lunch. Eating here was the right decision. The cabbage rolls were incredibly delicious, and the place was quaint. Conclusion: A top-notch restaurant with a small but excellent selection. Service: extremely friendly, courteous, and prompt. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

We were returning from Croatia on vacation and stopped there. Everything was booked that evening, but we immediately got a reservation for the following evening. The Schäuferle (small pancakes) were divine, as was the Kaiserschmarn (smothered pancakes). We received very friendly and attentive service from the staff. The kids even got a free small ice cream. The manager, in particular, has everything under control and was always approachable and very friendly. Where else can you find such a traditional German restaurant where you can still get truly hearty, home-style cooking that tastes truly delicious? We'll be back there next year when we're passing through. I can recommend the Glöckle without hesitation...

Simply fantastic! A beautiful old restaurant, truly quaint. All the dishes were excellent; I had cream of pumpkin soup and Wiener schnitzel. And the waitress was a very young and lovely girl who, despite being very busy, always smiled and was extremely friendly. It was a wonderful evening in a location that many could learn a thing or two from... 10 stars from me, I'd happily give it a go. I'll definitely be back!

The Glöckle Pfännle (pancake with fried potatoes) was very tasty and looked really good. It could have been a bit bigger, but the price was perfectly reasonable. Super great restaurant. I happened to be walking past it, and since I was hungry and had time, I went in and asked for a seat. It was very busy both inside and out, but I was asked to wait outside on the bench. After less than five minutes, I got a nice seat inside. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and the food was very, very delicious. I will definitely come back with my family, but of course, I'll make a reservation beforehand. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I was visiting Bad Kissingen, and we both stopped at this restaurant because it had been recommended to us. We ordered two Wiener Schnitzels (veal). To cut a long story short, we were both extremely disappointed because it wasn't just dry, but absolutely overcooked, which is unacceptable for that price. When I told the waitress about it, nothing happened—not even an apology or any kind of response. Maybe it was a slip-up, but that's not how you handle a complaint. That says enough about the restaurant to me, and we won't be going there again.

Courteous and fast service despite being almost at capacity. Our food was very good; the schnitzel had a nice, light coating, and the dumplings and sauces were exceptionally tasty. Our 4-year-old daughter also had fun with the coloring set and the child-friendly service.

The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was homely and very good. My friend from Atlanta really enjoyed the currywurst. I had a delicious burger.

The staff is really friendly and attentive and the food is fantastic! Everything smells wonderful, the fries are crispy, the veal schnitzel is tender and the Ludwigsburger is juicy. The building also has charm. I also like that it's not so loud and you can have a good conversation. I would recommend making reservations on Saturdays because of course even more people will know that it's worth the visit. Happy to come back!

The home-style menu also offers some modern touches. The Ludwig Burger with mountain cheese and melted onions is highly recommended, especially in combination with the very fresh and crispy fries. The homemade lemonade is also great. The portion size is very pleasant and the price is absolutely fair. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The toilets are also clean. We ordered the Ludwig burger, a classic beef burger, lettuce, tomato, cheese and pickles... It was delicious. I just ate it and I'm thinking about when I can go back for another one. We ordered some fries that were also very delicious, but next time I think it will be the hamburger just because I wanted to try some dessert (if I ate more it would end up bad, the hamburger was full). I also ordered an Agustiner beer, which was very well drafted and very smooth. It went great with the burger. I will return without a doubt. Plus it's not expensive at all. In terms of quality/price ratio, the diner wins.

This restaurant is a 10/10. Food absolutely on point, service is highly professional (the woman with short light hair). I have eaten there several times. Absolutely everything is recommended! The dressing could perhaps be improved a bit due to its consistency and lack of taste, but that's a matter of taste.

Restaurant is on two floors. Rustic atmosphere on the ground floor. I liked it. Toilets a bit tight, but sufficient. Bratwurst and burgers were delicious. Several types of beer to choose from. Of course also wine and other things. Prices for food were okay. Personally, I found dessert a bit expensive. I would visit again!

Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky with the main course. At the Bratwurstglöckle you rely on the expertise with Bratwurst etc. Unfortunately the Bratwurst pan was a failure. Everything is pretty dry and the herb is very sour. The sausages were flat in taste and visually nothing special. The Balling bread advertised was not fresh, the horseradish no longer had any bite and had been sliced ​​by the fexer for a long time and was therefore dry. Mustard from a plastic disposable bag. This can be made nicer. Unfortunately a weak performance. The staff was extremely friendly and our Goldendoodle was allowed in and felt really comfortable under the table. What a rustic location, what great food - It was a stay that was great fun from start to finish. A fantastically original interior and regional Franconian cuisine that you couldn't wish for better. Blue ziplets as a starter, Schäufele with lots of sauce and dumplings and a schnitzel with a horseradish-mustard breading that you couldn't imagine being crispier. The service was quick and always present, very focused due to the many guests - but we would also have been happy about a little smile (please don't take it as a criticism) Even if some previous posters complain about the size of the map, please stick to your concept, because less is often more!!!

We had reserved a table for 4 people for yesterday, November 2nd, 2024 at 5:45 p.m. We were not given a time limit. We got there on time and ordered starters and main courses with drinks. After an hour, a young male waitress (wearing leather trousers a la Gabalier) came unbidden with the bill, said: “I need the table” and handed us the bill (€100.20). I paid €120 and he disappeared. Understandably, I didn't want to tip given this rude annoying behavior. However, I only received the change after requesting it. But I have to note the following: - the food was very good - a second female waitress was very friendly and attentive - The ambience of the restaurant is also very nice. However, under these conditions, given the impolite time pressure (we only had 30 minutes to eat and drink), we cannot recommend this restaurant.
