Es ist viel Reklame gemacht worden für die Speisemeisterei, wir haben uns viel davon versprochen. Aber es war eine herbe Enttäuschung. Das Hotel muss dringend renoviert werden. Der Biergarten liegt einzigartig, aber der mit Glassplittern gespickte Kies mit Unkraut lädt nicht ein. Die Beete voller Unkraut, das Essen sehr lieblos mittelmäßig. Einzig das Wiener Schnitzel war gut und die Bedienungen waren sehr nett. So schnell werden sie uns nicht wieder sehen.

I had probably the most beautiful room with a great view over Lake Tegernsee. I was very satisfied all around: very dog-friendly, very good breakfast, dinner was also great and in a fantastic location. My guest from Munich was also warmly welcomed. Since I had forgotten something very important to me at the hotel, it was sent home to me without further ado. Thank you very much for that too!

Wonderful hotel with a perfect lakefront location and an amazing spa. Breakfast was excellent and so was the service.

The food tastes very good and is prepared with a lot of love. A hotel for connoisseurs.

Wir waren heute im wunderschön gelegenen Biergarten, die Lage ist ein Traum, die Servicemitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das essen war super lecker, wir hatten Forelle, Schweinsbraten, Backhendl und Burger. Auch die Nachspeisen und der " hausgemachte Eistee sind sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Great hotel location with a catch

Location, location, location, that's where the hotel scores. The impression of the very friendly and helpful staff is unfortunately somewhat overshadowed by the 'rustic' charm of the reception management. Apart from a few relatively new rooms, the entire building would do more than well with a renovation/renovation.

Leider war unser Essen echt schlecht/ Schweinebraten. Es kam noch nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung als wir bemängelt haben das der Braten viel zu trocken sei. Sehr schade. Vielleicht ist deshalb auch nicht viel los im Biergarten. Auch ist die Speisenauswahl eher gering. Sehr hochpreisig, bei schlechter Qualität.

Urlaub in den Sand gesetzt für viel in einem **** Sterne Hotel.Das Premium Zimmer hat ca.16m2, Innenausstattung-uralt,Balkonmöbel Schrottreif. Keine Ablagemöglichkeit für Koffer Der Füssboden hat mehrere große Macken .Balkongeländer z.teil verrostet. Zimmer-Bewertung O Sterne !!! Reklamation wird erst morgen bearbeitet . So kann man mit Gästen nicht umgehen. Das Hotel ist in keinster Weise zu empfehlen.

Das Hotel muss dringend renoviert werden. Das Zimmer wsr mit einem Betreuerzimmer bei einem Jugendherberge vergleichbar. Das Frühstück war OK. Der Rest war sonst eher schlecht als Recht. 4 Sternehotel ist es nicht.

The typical Bavarian hotel has an excellent location. The employees are friendly and the cleanliness is also ok. The wellness area is also good. The following points are negative. Bad pillow (too small and too soft). Coffee for breakfast is not recommended. The price for half a beer and bar drinks very high. All in all, unfortunately only 3 stars for me. It seems like the hotel wants to play in the upper league, but doesn't achieve that status through exclusive food and expensive drinks. There's a little more to it. I still felt comfortable and recommend the hotel.

Great location, modern rooms with balconies, breakfast more than three stars. I wasn't at all happy with the tiny, cheapest sleeping pillow for dwarves. There was only this one, other 4-star hotels have several.

Hotel located directly on the lake with a wellness area. Also used by companies for workshops. Some facilities are visibly showing their age. In the off-season the saunas were not fully heated and were open for a shorter period of time. Understandable but a shame.

We were there for 4 days and had half board, the reception area was super friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean with a partial view of Lake Tegernsee, the first morning there was a bit of chaos at breakfast, by the time we had the coffee our prepared breakfast plates were almost empty (apparently too few staff) but the remaining days went much better, dinner was always great and very tastefully prepared, the last evening was a surprise for us, this was that we were allowed to eat our last meal in the small glassworks. Many thanks to the whole team 😀

Very good hotel with a direct location on the lake and free parking in the underground car park. The staff is very friendly and attentive and requests were fulfilled quickly. The deluxe double room is very well equipped and in perfect condition. The double bed and mattress were perfect. Everything was available at the rich breakfast and special requests were promptly fulfilled. The entire wellness area is second to none and the room to cool down after the sauna with real snow is very impressive. Our dog was really welcome and we will be back.

Nie wieder.. Das Hotel ist wirklich in die Jahre gekommen. In dem Hotel lag ein unangenehmer Geruch vor, selbst das Deluxe-Zimmer war spartanisch eingerichtet, Matratzen durchgelegen, Personal unfreundlich und das schlimmste war, dass der Schinken beim Frühstücksbuffet verschimmelt war.

Profitiert sehr vom Standort, weiter außerhalb wäre mit dieser Art mit Kunden umzugehen längst dicht.

Das Restaurant Terrassenhof, jetzt Speisemeisterei punktet mit seiner tollen Lage direkt am See. Wir waren zum Abendessen dort, hatten Hirschkalbsrücken und Rinderfilet Surf & Turf. Beides sehr schmackhaft und toll angerichtet. Als Vorspeise jeweils eine Suppe, auch diese waren sehr gut. Leider kann der Service mit dem wirklich guten Essen nicht mithalten. Angefangen mit Fingerabdrücken und Spuren vom Abwischen auf den Suppentellern über mangelnde Aufmerksamkeit sowie Rotweinflecken auf der Tischdecke nach dem Einschenken durch den etwas stoffeligen Kellner ist hier deutliches Verbesserungspotential da. Das Ambiente ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen, auch hier ist noch Potential nach oben insbesonderes wenn man sich die Preise anschaut.
