It was a quick and good meal. The service was also okay, but I didn't find the ambiance particularly outstanding. We were passing through, and it was perfect for that.

It was quite nice. Nice and quiet. Room was very clean. However, the toilet in the bathroom was far too deep! Normal height is around 60cm. The plumber must have made quite a mistake there. The toilet was at most 35 cm high. Like in kindergarten for small children. But very friendly staff. Maybe there could have been water next to the juices at breakfast (just a suggestion!) We ate twice in the restaurant. I was a little disappointed on the first evening. The bruschetta was pretty bland. I didn't notice any garlic. On the second evening the food was delicious, although there were complaints at our neighboring table that the pizza wasn't baked through.

We came to this beautiful, small and cozy hotel based on a recommendation. We are very satisfied and will recommend this beautiful facility. Many thanks again to the entire team and all the best.

Absolutely recommended! The hotel more than met our expectations. The location is great, the staff is really friendly. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. The breakfast, which was included, was small, but you had everything you needed and it was always replenished. In the evening we ate in the restaurant that belongs to the hotel. Here too the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The portions were more than sufficient and totally delicious, The prices are also absolutely reasonable. The next visit to Thale is already being planned and we will definitely stay at Piccolo again.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Piccolo restaurant in Bergen and it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The menu offers a great selection of Italian specialties. I tried the homemade el taccino and it was to die for – the pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The pizza my companion ordered was also fantastic - the dough was thin and crispy, and the fresh ingredients really enhanced the flavor. The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive and had good recommendations for wines that went perfectly with our dishes. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I highly recommend Piccolo! I’m already looking forward to my next visit!”

We spontaneously decided on the Piccolo restaurant because it wasn't too far away from our apartment. Despite not having a reservation, we got a table for 4 people after a few minutes. The pizzas (Salame, Thale and Florentina) were extremely tasty, as was my spagetti Aglio e olio. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The ambience invited you to relax.

An absolute failure – never again! We have rarely left a restaurant as disappointed as we were at the Piccolo Italian Restaurant & Hotel in Thale. What we were offered here was simply cheeky, both in terms of cuisine and service. The pizza was a bad joke, not freshly made, but obviously just warmed up. The base was soggy, the pizza overall was lukewarm, simply loveless and tasteless. We had to wait a whopping 55 minutes for this sad “pizza”! And as if that wasn't enough, we had to wait a whole 30 minutes for our drinks, even though we asked twice. When the drinks finally came, the beer was stale and the cola was practically non-carbonated. It really makes you wonder if anything is served fresh at all. And no, the restaurant wasn't full. There were only three other tables occupied besides us, with 1-2 people, and everyone was served faster, better and politely. Why we were so ignored is a mystery to us. On top of that, the service was extremely rude. People constantly tried to force dessert on us, even though we made it clear several times that we didn't want any. Instead of hospitality, there was obtrusive intrusiveness and zero tact. Honestly, we're really pissed. This restaurant was a complete disappointment from start to finish. Poor quality, slow service, unfriendly staff, what more could you want to completely ruin a lovely evening?😑 Never again – and we strongly advise anyone who asks us not to eat there!

Folgende Bewertungen wurde wegen angeblicher Verleumdung auf Google Maps vom Restaurant entfernt: Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aber die Vorspeise wurde vergessen und die Pizza war leider nicht ganz durch

Die bestellten Pizzen waren okay die Steaks allerdings garnicht . Die Bruschetta waren sehr öllastig und kalt . Bei der Harzplatte ,war leider das Fleisch überfällig und der Brokkoli braun . Das Personal war überfordert und an einer sachlichen Klärung nicht interessiert.....leider . 4 Esssen wurden zurückgegeben und wir haben dann als Ersatz Pizza bestellt. Die war auch in Ordnung . Leider wurden uns dreister Weise das eine Essen trotzdem berechnet . Es war unser erster und letzter Besuch in dieser Gaststätte .

We were there as a restaurant visitor and therefore cannot rate the room. The beautiful and great ambience in the restaurant suggests that the hotel is in good condition. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is very friendly and quick, even when it's busy. My wife and I had pizza and were thrilled with the perfect dough and taste. The highlight, however, was the bruschetta - I've never eaten it better and wouldn't share it with my wife again, I'd rather order two. 10/10 in taste, service, ambience and also the prices are right - CARD PAYMENT POSSIBLE.

The Picollo was a hit... but a really good one... we were able to enjoy a great dinner. Thanks to the team. We can advise you ... readers and lovers of Italian restaurants ... online with a clear conscience - go and try it for yourself. We weren't able to try out the hotel area...unfortunately...maybe next year.

Nice, clean, small hotel. Rooms cozy, bathroom clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast completely sufficient. There were brief difficulties at dinner because our starter was accidentally served to someone else and we only got it after a long wait when we asked. Can happen... Otherwise very tasty pasta and friendly service. Price/performance good. We would come again.

Schnitzel surprisingly tasty with crispy breading. Drinks also very good (especially wine). The pizza can be improved for an Italian restaurant, there is more to it.

DANGER! STARS APPEAR ONLY FROM THE HOTEL - NOT RESTAURANT!!!!! It's strange that I can only rate the restaurant/hotel combination below hotel standards. Since we only used the restaurant, I can only rate the rooms, for example. It doesn't surprise me that this "establishment" has 4.7 stars, because the food doesn't deserve a star at all. The hotel may be great, but I wouldn't eat there again. Pizza and chicken breast fillet with fries and vegetables were ordered. Plus bruscetta, wine and non-alcoholic Hefeweizen. I've never seen a bruscetta like this before. The admittedly well-seasoned tomatoes lay in a heap on the pathetically thin and tasteless slices of baguette. The pizza had a ready-made base (no edge, perforated base) further discussion is unnecessary. I was already served. The fillet vegetables were bland, pale and sour. The sauce served already had a skin (surface). Most of the time you're annoyed with yourself because you lie to the waiter when he asks if it was tasty. Don't go! Until the operator realizes that fraud won't get you anywhere. Unbelievable. And that on the wedding day. Addendum: Unfortunately, hatred is assumed, even though I only stated facts. Double shame. Criticism falls flat.

The food was very tasty and came early. The price level was in the upper third. Unfortunately the waiters were very hectic and you got the feeling you just had to eat quickly and then pay. We were only there to eat.

Food was okay, but that was it. Service wasn't worth mentioning. When asked whether the food I chose contained lactose, I was shrugged and told to order something else. The tea water was forgotten and the tea was only poured after we asked. The food is all identical, fries, vegetables, cream and mushroom sauce (which was also included with the schnitzel, which I chose specifically because there can be no lactose in it) and only the meat side dish varies depending on the choice. Plates were cleared even though someone was still eating. Change was returned rounded up even though we didn't say anything about it. Finally, we won't go here again.

We ate here on a Monday evening. It was very tasty. The atmosphere is very cozy, really makes you feel good. The service staff is also courteous and nice.

When I entered my room the window wasn't closed and it was 2° outside I tried to close the window but couldn't so I got help. The hotel operators then closed the window but the room was freezing cold. I asked for additional heat sources, but they were not provided. So I had to spend the night in the cold room, which only became tolerably warm after several hours. The next morning when I was paying the hotel bill, I pointed this out again and was actually just insulted and threatened that I wouldn't be allowed to write a negative review! I would never book this hotel again! Mistakes can certainly happen. However, I then expect that they will be fixed and that the guest will be happy and not have to sleep in a freezing cold room!

We ate two pizzas here. Unfortunately, both of them weren't really cooked through and didn't taste good either. They were also very sparingly occupied. The service was average.

Atmosphere like in a fast food restaurant. However, this is entirely due to the waiter. He rushes, doesn't seem calm, nor can he put on a smile. Everything happens at a rapid pace, so you feel like you're eating quickly so new guests can arrive. We froze a little and sat in the annex, which is certainly nice in the summer, but needs to be heated more in the winter. We ate pizza - it was okay, but we were light years away from a feel-good atmosphere. We're definitely not coming back.

Waiter too listless, our dish had a lot of sauce and little meat, but at over 17.00 euros it was way too expensive, fillet is a bit more expensive, but it was a maximum of 100 grams, the sauce was tasty, but we don't have to have that again
