You can tell the people working here love their jobs and know what they're doing. What really stood out: the Aperol. It sounds banal, but it was seriously the best Aperol I've ever had in Germany. We were guests at a wedding at Waldblick. The ambiance of the hotel and the outdoor areas are wonderful and ideal for children. But what impressed me most was the attentive service staff. The Hotel Waldblick is located in a district of Pulsnitz. There are ample parking spaces in front of the hotel. The overall ambiance of the hotel complex is very inviting. The restaurant and reception are at the center, so you can immediately see that they can also host conferences. A bowling alley (we didn't see it) and an outdoor curling rink are also available. Upon entering the reception area, you sense a very private atmosphere. The welcome was very warm. We booked the wellness suite for three nights. It was a dream. After a short, entertaining introduction to the sauna and whirlpool, we enjoyed our suite. On the first morning, we also had breakfast served in our room (for a small surcharge). Thanks to the restaurant manager, we felt incredibly comfortable at every dinner. Our sincere thanks also go to all the other staff members for making our stay a special one. The suite, the food, and everything else made our three nights a special experience. Many thanks to the entire team at the Hotel Waldblick.

Very nice restaurant and hotel in a small district of Pulsnitz. There are several rooms for celebrating. Rooms quiet, clean, high standard - top! Nice, attentive staff, even if there is a staff shortage. Great food, fine cuisine (lots of game, but also vegetarian). There are two bowling lanes in the basement (€26 per lane), great! Quiet environment where you can go hiking. Large parking lot in front of the house. Overall, highly recommended!

Concerns about visiting a restaurant. On November 15th, 2024 we tried to reserve a table for two by phone. Without success. It wasn't picked up, pushed away or called back. When asked on site about the possibility of dining, the answer was no, as you would have had to make a reservation. There would also be internet... After coming here several times with satisfaction, we are very disappointed.

Looking for lunch, we left the A4 and ended up here quite by chance (we were on the way back from our Asian vacation and really wanted to have a home-style meal again) and we didn't regret it. We had a total of 15 main courses, all of which were excellently crafted and made from obviously fresh, high-quality ingredients. All cooking points were correct. This time I had a double room as a single payer, which was really great. Last time a single room with a bed under the slant was a bit tight for a man of almost 1.90. Service and food were awesome. It's in an idyllic location, ideal for people who like to be in nature.

First of all: this review only refers to the restaurant visit on October 2nd, 2024, at lunchtime! When I asked if my dessert had been forgotten, the snippy reply “it’s grilled, it’ll take longer” was audible across the restaurant for the other guests. I know that grilled food takes longer than non-grilled food. I don't need to be lectured about it in a know-it-all and snobby way. Nor does a restaurant manager have to shout it across the room and then serve it without apology - 10 minutes later than my wife's dessert. I only know of other restaurants with this format that only serve at the same time. A good restaurant not only includes good food, but also good service staff. I'm usually very generous with tips, as you can see and ask from my recent restaurant visits on the weekend. This time we didn't tip because of this incident. Her restaurant manager almost ran me over as she was leaving. There was no “goodbye” even though I said “bye” out loud. Honestly – THAT DOESN’T WORK AT ALL. And then there was a guest who had only recently been a hotel guest and was generally satisfied.

We visited for dinner on a Saturday. The dining room we sat in was almost empty, but there was obviously a larger party next door. We waited a very long time for drinks and food. We had booked a table for 6:30 p.m. The food came at 7:55 p.m. A little greeting from the kitchen while we waited would have made things a little sweeter for us. The food was very good, but we didn't think the price of 6 euros for three small half cauliflower florets or a few wild broccoli sticks as a side dish was really reasonable. The house specialty lemonade was delicious, and the wine selection was appropriate. We had stated when making the reservation that it was an older lady's birthday (on the birthday itself), but there was no acknowledgment of the occasion, no glass of champagne or scoop of ice cream - so we were a little disappointed.

But that's where it started... The Asian waitress didn't want us to sit outside. Your argument is that a storm is coming soon. The way you argued and your tone almost made us leave the house. Suddenly she gave in and directed us to the terrace. Table wasn't wiped down and the rest of the service was poor. My burger wasn't warm, but it still tasted good and my wife's meal (pork cheeks) was very good. With two service employees and no other guests, no questions asked and no possibility of ordering anything. From now on, the main reason for an application was no longer a priority. Too bad Good employees and competent specialists are also sought elsewhere. We still liked your house 👍 Good luck

The hotel is very quiet. The room is nice and big and clean. In the summer (if you stay for a long time) a small refrigerator would be useful. What really bothered us was the room above us The water in the bathtub is drained. I don't think that's a good thing 😕. We were really frightened. And I have to admit a few deficiencies in the breakfast buffet. The rolls weren't fresh, but baked (I got an old one on Sunday.) and Croissants wouldn't be bad. I come from a catering business. We would never serve something like that to our guests.
