Hotel & Restaurant Bakenhof Inh. Tristan Twent in Münster

I stayed at this 3-star hotel for 3 days on a business trip. It's beautifully decorated, the staff is very friendly, the room is clean, functionally furnished, and has a modern flair. The table in a niche offers plenty of space to work. The bed is also quite comfortable. You can also turn on every light from the bed, so you don't have to search for which light switch turns which light on. The bathroom is very spacious and offers plenty of room to move around, even for those with a bit of a slim figure. A restaurant is also right next door and is part of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and delicious.

Great experience! I was there for 2 nights on business and will definitely come back for a private vacation. Room great, very clean and comfortable. You could also give service 10 stars, the hotel has really great employees! In the restaurant and also in the hotel you will always receive friendly and courteous service. I felt very comfortable and valued as a guest. The location on the outskirts of Münster, on the way into the city, is something I'm unfortunately unsure about, but I'm convinced that this hotel would also be there to help you. Unfortunately, there is currently a construction site in front of the hotel, but that only makes access a little more complicated. You have to look closely ;) I also noticed how the staff helped an older couple (guests) get great flowers for their table for their next dinner together. (probably wedding anniversary) I thought that was really great and wanted to mention it again here. All in all: I would be happy to be a guest here again at any time. The hotel has been on a construction site for a long time, so the parking lot can be reached via the next side street, which is absolutely okay. The receptionist was friendly and service-oriented. The room was good, the bathroom was large and modern. Nevertheless, I had hoped for more, perhaps based on the photos posted. My room was on the first floor; Unfortunately, there is no elevator, which is not so practical with a suitcase and my slight walking disability, at least when going downstairs. Unfortunately, the room was really cold (18° C) and could hardly be made more comfortable even with the friendly guidance of the staff. The underfloor heating works slightly, but it didn't manage to reach a comfortable temperature for me throughout the evening, even though I was told by a member of staff that she could tell that it was 24°C in the room. Yes, I admit to needing a lot of warmth, especially after being sick. At night after my return (event in the city) I slipped into bed quite quickly and woke up with a cold in the morning. Yes, there was an extra blanket in the closet, but it made me uncomfortable because of the hygiene. The breakfast (until 10:00 a.m.) was good and varied. The selection was still large even towards the end. By chance, shortly after 10 a.m., I heard an employee calling out for her colleagues to come to breakfast. If I had known that, I would have left five minutes earlier. 😉 I would probably visit the hotel again, but with different equipment (e.g. warm blanket, thick clothing) ... or just in summer. I didn't hear the construction site during my visit (room at the back, Sunday). It was really quiet in the room. At breakfast I heard other guests complaining that the bedroom had become light too early tomorrow due to the lack of darkening options in the bathroom. That didn't bother me personally. Parking is possible free of charge at the house. There were enough parking spaces when I was there.

Originally intended as a "stopgap," I'm more than thrilled. The reception and restaurant were both super friendly. The rooms were top-notch, and my every request was met immediately. I'd love to come back!

Family Advent dinner on the third Advent. We all enjoyed it very much. The rump steak and the rösti were great. The Wiener Schnitzel was also good, Primitivo wine was very good, service was friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back.

I booked two nights and received a friendly welcome. The room and bathroom were bright, modern and had enough space. The breakfast was very varied. I would book the hotel again and recommend it to others. The food in the restaurant was particularly very good.

The cleanliness needs a little improvement, the mirrors are dirty and smeared. Otherwise clean and fresh. The rooms are modern and bright. The restaurant is expensive but just adequate for the quality and upscale ambience. Lots of parking spaces for free. Friendly staff. Unreservedly recommended

We spent one night here. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to a day off. The rooms and the entire hotel were modern, clean and sufficiently equipped. The breakfast was extensive and tasty with high quality products. The employees were really nice and helpful. We can recommend this hotel for a short trip.

My wife and I often go to Münster for a long weekend, we love this city. This time we stayed in the Bakenhof for the first time, as hotels in the city center can quickly become restless and noisy, especially at the weekend. Per: - very nice staff - nice rooms - beautiful location in the countryside - the restaurant is very good Cons: I have no idea if we were just unlucky, but what really ruined our mood in the morning was the noise. Not those of the other guests! I don't know what the owner is thinking about sending the staff out at 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning with leaf blowers and various other loud equipment to clean the parking lot. My wife and I always sleep with the window at least tilted and on the weekends we just like to sleep a little longer. Unfortunately it wasn't possible here because from around 8 a.m. a leaf blower was constantly strapped through the window for almost two hours. To be honest, I don't think it's okay with paying guests. Such work can really be postponed until a later hour, then guests can perhaps enjoy the quiet area. So we can also take a hotel directly in the city. Unfortunately, the rest of the day was over for us as we were both relatively exhausted. It's a shame, without that the rating would have been very good.

We didn't have the biggest room. But otherwise everything was great.

Beautiful ambience, nice staff, great food

I often go to Münster for work reasons and have now spent a few nights here. Everything is just right. Great clean rooms, a completely adequate breakfast buffet and very nice and courteous service. For my further stays in Münster I will only book here.

For us the best, not far from hotel. Great service, very good food. Are excited. We can't rate the hotel because we don't live there.

Very good food, price is absolutely justified. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was right. Will be one of our favorite places.

Good for dining there and also for vacationing there, that's good

New rooms, renovated dining room, everything very personal and friendly. Gladly again. Rooms are pragmatically small and the breakfast buffet is manageable but everything is there and tasty. Hotel is a little outside. But the center can be reached in 10 minutes by bike and cycling in MS is a dream. Bus stop in front of the door, but didn't try it.

Very cozy hotel. Large room, TV, refrigerator. The shower is large, comfortable, and has a hairdryer. The room is cleaned every day. At the reception there is a free map of the city with attractions and bus schedules and routes. The hotel offers breakfast. Near the hotel there is a street with shops and a pharmacy. Convenient car interchange. I really liked it, I recommend it.

Restaurant ok, food and service ok

We were in the hotel again because we had an appointment at the nearby university clinic. The hotel is also very suitable for exploring Münster and the surrounding area. The house, the facilities and the restaurant are highly recommended. Nevertheless, the friendliness of the employees and Mr. Twent is our top priority. Das Hotel hat viele Parkplätze. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Die Zimmer ziemlich hellhörig. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker, der Service war super.

Mit der Firma dort übernachtet. Frühstück reichhaltig und lecker. Zimmer sauber und großzügig eingerichtet. Empfehlenswert!

Ein wunderschönes, privat geführtes Hotel mit hervorragendem Restaurant. Überaus freundlicher Service und sehr gepflegte und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Immer wieder gerne!
