Hotel- Restaurant Amadeus in Isernhagen

Where can you spontaneously enjoy a delicious and stylish breakfast on a Monday in and around Isernhagen/Altwarmbüchen? The "Amadeus" restaurant (I wasn't a hotel guest!) offers all the options. The breakfast is, of course, aimed at hotel guests. But for €16.90, everyone is welcome; table reservations are requested. The ingredients are presented on the bar counter in a varied, plentiful, and delicious array. Plenty of filter coffee and juices are included, and a fully automatic coffee machine prepares cappuccinos and the like for an additional charge. The selection of freshly prepared salads is also noteworthy. The fruit salad, however, was missing! Otherwise, nothing was left to be desired, and the service staff were extremely friendly and attentive to the guests. My companion and I felt at home. We also appreciated the sophisticated and tasteful ambiance in the restaurant area.

A great place - always! A bit out of the way from Hanover with prices (I don't even want to say it ;-)) like they were before the coronavirus pandemic. We visit there often and love the place!!! Great prices, great cookie-like atmosphere, great service! Long drinks from 8:30 p.m. for a whopping €4.90!!!! Where else can you find that???? Great! P.S. Great promotions - just google it.

Very warm hotel and restaurant. The staff is very welcoming. The rooms are spacious and clean. Quiet, with free parking, it's ideally located for getting around Hanover. The breakfast is generous, with an all-you-can-eat buffet, and the restaurant meals are excellent. We'll be happy to return.

Unfortunately, it's located in a residential area, so parking might be a bit difficult. The food was very well prepared, and the service was very attentive.

We hosted a large family celebration (70th birthday) at the Amadeus in September 2025. The advance planning was done in writing and in person, and everything was confirmed – menu, number of guests, drinks package, room, etc. We were really looking forward to it. The shock was all the greater when, on the day of the event, we and our guests arrived punctually in front of closed doors: nothing was prepared, no tables set, no decorations, no reception. This was extremely unpleasant, especially for our guests, who had traveled from far away. For us as hosts, it was an embarrassing and humiliating situation that really caught us off guard. Only upon inquiry did it become clear that our celebration hadn't been entered into the calendar. That's a serious organizational error on this scale. On the positive side, the manager did everything she could to save the celebration with a great deal of empathy and improvisation. Tables were set in the beer garden at short notice, we received a welcome drink, the menu was served as agreed, and cake and coffee were also available. In the end, we had a lovely afternoon and evening, thanks in part to the great weather. Without the weather, however, we would have been sitting in a bare, undecorated room – and this thought alone shows how much was hanging by a thread. On the negative side: The managing director simply stated that "everything was very last minute" – even though he had confirmed the party himself. This seems unprofessional. Thanks to his wife and a lucky coincidence with the weather, the party was a success – not thanks to good organization. In conclusion: The Amadeus scores highly in terms of cuisine and atmosphere, and the managing director did her very best that day. But the bitter aftertaste of organizational failure remains. Anyone planning a party here should take precautions and keep a close eye on things to ensure something like this doesn't happen again.

Perfect. Quiet location, yet 25 minutes from the city center by public transport. Awesome breakfast buffet, a great restaurant for dinner, and a fantastic terrace in the garden.

The room was nice and clean. We had a family room, which consisted of two rooms each with their own small hallway so the room door could be left open. The food in the restaurant was also very good.

I can't comment on the rooms. I was there for a conference. Everything was air-conditioned, and the food was wonderful.

At dinner, we got small schnitzels even though we ordered large ones. When we complained, they just shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do. They had to pay in full. To top it all off, they explained to us how to add a tip when paying by card??? 🙄. The fried potatoes were swimming in oil several centimeters thick. The room was clean; there was no kettle, no coffee machine, no refrigerator in the room, just a large one in the hallway. An eternity of waiting at checkout. Only one large towel and three small ones 🙄.

Waited 1 hour 30 minutes for food. No communication, no attention from the kitchen, no free shot after the meal, and a wait of over 1 hour 30 minutes. Then they hand me an EC card and actually ask me for a tip. That was my last time here. Legit below average. For a reserved table.

Hey, yesterday we unfortunately didn't make it to our planned stop near Kassel due to traffic jams and stop-and-go traffic (returning from the long weekend, numerous construction sites, and the hottest day of the year so far) 🫡 So we looked for accommodation in the Isernhagen area. After a few rejections, we found the Amadeus in Isernhagen-Altwarmbüchen (near Hanover) after 9:00 PM 🍀 Nicely quiet, located a little outside in the countryside. Just what we needed after the stressful drive 🤩 A very motivated, friendly, young team runs this pleasant hotel and restaurant with beautiful rooms and great bathrooms 🌹 The kitchen is also nothing to sneeze at. Our food arrived promptly, generously, and very tasty 😋 After a restful sleep on comfortable mattresses and a delicious breakfast, we're now on our way home 🌷 ...but not without checking out the charming beer garden with its cooling fountain and the attractive lounge with a reading corner 💦 We felt very comfortable and would love to come back 🌹

Highly recommended! If we get the chance, we'll be back! The dog-friendliness is also worth mentioning! Unfortunately, that's rare these days.

Our third stay at the Amadeus Hotel was simply fantastic! From the warm welcome to the exquisite breakfast – everything was perfect. The room was spacious, stylishly furnished, and spotlessly clean. We were particularly impressed by the tranquility. Our fourth stay is already booked. We can highly recommend this hotel!

I travel frequently on business, but I've rarely been so pleasantly surprised. A very tastefully decorated hotel with a large room, a big TV, and a spacious bathroom with a large rain shower. The breakfast was excellent for just €9.80, and the restaurant is also highly recommended in the evening. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed in the hotel for two nights from May 9th to 11th, 2025. I have to say, I haven't been so positively surprised by a hotel in a long time. We stayed in the Mozart room. Clean, friendly and lovingly furnished. The service is a dream, the two owners are very accommodating and do everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We then booked again straight away, because we have to go back to Hanover for work.

I have to book hotels regularly because of my job and occasionally, but still too rarely, highlights appear, like this cozy yet modern hotel. Pleasant, timeless flair, well-thought-out rooms for business travelers, full, high-quality restaurant on Wednesday evenings, consistently fair prices (breakfast for under €10, for example). Absolute recommendation, would love to come back.

The Hotel Restaurant Amadeus in Isernhagen is a beautiful location. I was once able to accompany a wedding there as a DJ. The guests and also the service providers were very satisfied with the Hotel Restaurant Amadeus.

A well-run hotel with a rich, comprehensive breakfast buffet and a small but very straightforward menu at acceptable prices. By the way, the kitchen knows its job. From A, arrival reception to Z, payment, every function deserves its stars. Please keep it up

Service 1A, the food in the restaurant was okay. We had schnitzel with mushroom sauce and fried potatoes with sausage and egg.

Newly renovated rooms in great quality, large shower, desk, new technology, good mattress, everything clean - nothing to complain about! Unfortunately, the receptionist at the reception is not very motivated, the staff in the restaurant is much more customer-oriented. The food is really very good, huge people, breakfast good selection, gluten free on request, everything very tasty! The hotel is somewhat hidden in a residential area.

Nice modern rooms, I personally really like the furnishings. However, I have to deduct a star because the thermostats are locked. Especially in the bathroom it is uncomfortable to step out of the spacious rain shower when it is 18°C. I am fully aware of the economic and ecological aspects of this decision, but I expect the corresponding level of comfort in a hotel.

I made a reservation at Amadeus for my colleagues for our New Year's reception and received nothing but very good reviews. The bookings/changes also worked out great. I can definitely recommend it.

The Christmas buffet was fantastic. We were greeted by friendly "Christmas elves" placed in the hall, where the acoustics allowed for good conversation despite the full house. Attentive service, delicious food, fresh and lovingly decorated in a colorful way. This is exactly what guests expect from hospitality. We will be back next year.☃️🌲

Great breakfast buffet for the 4th Advent

Nice room, but shower overflows and it's a shame that the underfloor heating in the bathroom was on in the evening but wasn't on in the morning. Breakfast was very good. Price performance was good. Parking space available. It's just a bit outside.

Apart from the fact that everyone enjoyed the celebration, our guests were very complimentary about the location, the hotel, the ambience, the food and the service. We also felt very comfortable and can highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant. Everything just fit. A big thank you goes to the Jasiek family and the entire crew, who not only looked after us in the evening, but also gave us wonderful support at all times during the preparation. Despite the stated opening time until midnight, we had to pay at 10:30 p.m. Last order was also not possible. At least we were allowed to drink.

The Amadeus is always our first choice as a hotel and restaurant. When we stop in Hanover and the surrounding area. The food is excellent, the rooms are new, well-equipped and, above all, quiet. The Amadeus has a very special location in a residential area. Normally you wouldn't expect a hotel here. It is relatively close to the motorway, but you can't hear anything from it. There is a small park directly behind the hotel, which is ideal for dog walks. We will be back soon and are already looking forward to it.

Very attentive staff. We checked in shortly before closing time. Of course the kitchen was already closed and we were very hungry after the long journey. The friendly employee at the bar quickly offered us a bread basket with sausage and cheese. We were very grateful. Thanks for that. 👍 The rooms are also great. Modern, pico bello clean. Great service, friendly staff, fantastic food and rooms very tidy and hygienic

The beer garden with restaurant isn't bad per se. The service is quick and the food comes on time too. I had a baked potato with chicken, and for 4.50 euros there was also a good portion of chicken. Unfortunately, the salad was drowned in dressing and the potatoes were also buried under sour cream.

We - a family of 2 adults and 2 big children - slept there for a simple night. We got 2 but large rooms that were clean and very nicely decorated. It seemed quite new, if not newly renovated, both room and bathroom. Easy parking right outside the door. Very "local" and quiet location, it was easy to get there from the highway. We had breakfast, which was served in the cafe. It was extremely reasonably priced, with a large selection, nicely prepared/presented and good quality. And then it could be enjoyed in the very cozy courtyard. Very friendly and smiling staff and a clean and inviting place. It was a good choice for us and a good experience, even though we were only there for one night and one morning before the trip continued in the car.

After we had already celebrated and stayed at the Amadeus 20 years ago and were very satisfied, it was clear to us: We'll stay there again. Unfortunately we were disappointed because time seems to have stood still there since then. We had booked one night in a double room with breakfast, which was confirmed accordingly. When we checked in, it turned out that there would be no breakfast the next day because no one was there. Although the hotel was well occupied, at least that was what the staff said. The eyes rolled for the first time. When we entered the room, we found that we had been assigned a sauna. The eyes rolled a second time. The room faced south, so the sun could shine beautifully on the windows, which were not closed. The room had a temperature of 30.7 degrees, which even the small fan couldn't tame. At night it was still 27 degrees, unfortunately there was no air conditioning. The double room was very small; a second duvet and pillow were available upon request. As I said, it was a double room. Regarding the bathroom, it should be said that it was probably renovated not too long ago, which was visually nice. Unfortunately, the shower doors didn't close completely, so there was a small flood in the bathroom. What can be said about the staff is that they were very friendly and helpful. Conclusion: In order to stand out from the competition these days, the Amadeus has to do a lot. We are well aware that this is difficult in times of massive staff shortages, but it is worth a try.

This criticism is real. The owner of this place does not pay his workers. I was working for more than a week. I decided to leave because I didn't like the atmosphere. I didn't have a contract yet. And he didn't pay me. Don't let anyone think about working there, they don't pay!!! I have had to resort to judicial means.

Monday is spare ribs day. Buttery and delicious. And hot on the table. I've never had lukewarm food here. Always fresh and hot on the table. And always served with a friendly smile.

We took part in a sales event for a Hanover newspaper in the Amadeus in Altwarmbüchen. Three alternative meals were offered as part of the event. Two meals met our expectations. The third alternative was supposed to be a chicken breast on rice, but there was no chicken breast, just shredded chicken and there was no green leaf with this meal. The sale of drinks was unsuccessful. It was known that around 60 people would show up within 30 minutes who wanted/should order drinks. Initially there was only one service person. Only after there were significant problems with the orders and delivery of the drinks were additional staff deployed to take orders. Even then, the drink replenishment didn't go smoothly. Another problem was “double-entry bookkeeping”. The drinks ordered/delivered were noted both on a beer mat and on a tablet. When billing, this meant that there were differences between the tablet and the beer mats and that some of the incorrect table numbers were also written down on the tablet. This led to differences and delays in checkout. What was annoying was that at the end of the event there was only one person doing the billing for the drinks - there was probably only one tablet - and therefore many guests had to sacrifice a lot of time until they received their money. There is considerable potential for improvement here. The hall in the Amadeus is relatively low and faces north. I found the height of the room and the lighting conditions (also from the lamps) depressing.

Easter brunch was very tasty, friendly staff.

I lived in Hanover and when I moved out of my house I booked myself into this hotel for a few days. The staff was by far the friendliest and most accommodating that I have experienced in all my travels to several continents. They listened to all my needs and circumstances and were very flexible, like friends. The food was excellent and my child always looked forward to breakfast and dinner. Should I be in Hanover again, then I owe it to this hotel to stay there. Great staff - great people. How I knew Germany from earlier times.

We always enjoy coming to Amadeus to eat. In addition to the veggie burger, which I can absolutely recommend, I recently had the Amadeus Bowl and was totally thrilled. A great alternative for those who want to give up meat!

The breakfast buffet with rolls from the on-site bakery is really great in terms of quality and price. We went there often with the whole family at the weekend. If you particularly value certain rolls, you can order them in advance (at an extra cost). We have special cheese roll lovers in our family and these are of course quickly sold out at the buffet. Rib day on Monday is particularly recommended for dinner. We tested them a week ago - they were super tasty! The schnitzel (schnitzel day on Wednesdays) is also highly recommended, as are the burgers and the ambience!

Der Sonntags-Brunch mit den Brötchen der zum Haus gehörenden Bäckerei ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr gute Auswahl und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, sehr nette Mitarbeiter und schönes Ambiente. Ausreichend Parkplätze am Haus und in der Nähe. Es gibt auch auf Nachfrage etwas Spielzeug für die Kleinen.

Was shown to the reserved table by the staff. The three of us then tried in vain to make eye contact for 20 minutes to get a card. Even the boss sitting in the restaurant didn't care. Then two “service staff” came by in quick succession. Later, the drink we ordered was not brought. Conclusion: underground - and that with the prices...

We celebrated our wedding there and it was great. The food was praised by many guests, the location is great and the rooms were perfect for our 75 guests. The boss and the entire team know how to create a great atmosphere. Thanks!

more than a good hotel, excellent restaurant and service, the downside for me as a business traveler was that it was far from work. but that's my own fault.

We were only there for the Advent breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, of the many Christmas offerings, we only saw the baked apples at the end and then had to wait even longer to get hold of one. But otherwise the selection was good and the service was attentive. The atmosphere was also right.

The staff will bend over backwards to help you in anyway that they can. The breakfast spread is one of the best I've seen!

Tolle Zimmer und tolles Essen. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt das Hotel etwas urig, jedoch sind die Zimmer toll und modern eingerichtet. Das Essen fande ich im zu dem Hotel gehörigen Restaurant auch sehr lecker. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Vor ca. 20 Jahren war ich dort, ich bin mir nicht so ganz sicher was ich damals bestellt hatte, etwas mit Spätzle & Gulasch - das Essen war sehr gut, meine Erinnerung nach, nochmal mit Tintenfisch Ringe mit Soße, die waren sehr sehr lecker. Leider sind wir umgezogen. Ein sehr gutes Restaurant, die Erinnerung ist geblieben. Weiterhin alles Gute!!
