Great hotel very clean quiet country side location. Friendly people good food and drink at reasonable prices. Hopefully go back for a longer stay in the summer

Large rooms in a good location for hiking, looked after by friendly people.

Motorcyclists are very welcome here. The rooms are certainly not expensive (€80 for two people), and there's parking in the garage if you want to store your bike indoors. There's a restaurant in the house with a beer garden and a very extensive menu (super delicious). Prefer a proper Dutch snack? ... that's also possible here, because the owners are Dutch. There are more than enough beautiful roads with lovely curves and surprising views, and it's incredibly quiet here. A paradise for motorcyclists... 5 stars!

I received a very friendly welcome, but unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend the room, as it was very dusty and even had dust and hair in the electrical outlet. Furthermore, the bed was very worn and creaked constantly. The toilet seat in the bathroom needs to be replaced!

I highly recommend this guesthouse. Everything is just perfect: the very friendly and helpful owner, the cozy rooms and the restaurant. Everything really is perfect here. We'd love to come back, thank you very much!

Quiet and peaceful place, large, comfortable room with a terrace. Very comfortable bed. Parking at the hotel is a big plus. Satisfied breakfast. I recommend. There is a restaurant in the hotel, I recommend the Fish and Chips dish, which is very good.

The rooms are a bit old, but the service, price-performance ratio and location right on Eggeweg are perfect. We felt very comfortable.

Very good location for Eggeweg hikers, nice service, varied breakfast, clean standard rooms with hot shower and in-house restaurant, all with a good price-performance ratio - what more could you want? Recommended!

A place to feel good. Everything fits here, peace and quiet, service, rooms, breakfast, cleanliness, absolutely recommended. Will always come back. Many thanks to the hosts, great job.

Usual good service from the host

Unfortunately there was only one person there who was the waitress, cook and tapper at the same time. That can't work, especially not on Father's Day. There was no more service or payment, no card was brought and no order was taken. The few people who were able to place an order waited ages for their food, while other guests left without being served. We gave up after the drinks, took the money to the kitchen and then drove to the bleichhaus in Marsberg for dinner, where we got a quick and great meal. It's a shame about the place, the beer garden is really nice and cozy, but what's the point if you're starving with your arm outstretched?

Good starting point for hikes. Dinner: I tried a vegan dish that I really liked (nut steak).

It was a very pleasant stay. The rooms are a bit old, but everything is always clean! The service was also really excellent! Always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this hospitality is no longer a given these days. Thank you very much and gladly again!

Nice route there. We went here without a reservation and were kindly helped. There was still one room available. Fantastic food, lovely spacious room and a nice extensive breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended!!
