We decided to take a short trip to Warnemünde and spend a night at the Hotel Neptun. We have not regretted this decision. The room was simply a dream, the view from the corner panorama of the sea and the beach promenade couldn't be beat. The breakfast selection is hard to beat. There is something for every palate and I almost forgot that the Grillstube Broiler is a must for every Easterner and a thank you to the nice team (staff)

We were hotel guests for the tower lighting… We were hotel guests for the Tower Lights 2025. I wanted to fulfill a dream and finally check into the large Hotel Neptun. To check in, we unfortunately waited in vain for a call back from the reception staff. The designated freshly cleaned room was decorated with long hair on the vanity in the bathroom, the dust on the console above the bed and the bedside lamp also presented a different picture. The porthole in the bathroom to the room proved to be very disadvantageous at night. The bed linen had extinguishers. The breakfast offered was okay, but the vegetables could be fresher. Due to the high occupancy of the hotel, there were often traffic jams in the elevators. However, what was the worst thing about the whole stay for me was that we had our room right next to the utility room. Every day around 4 a.m. you thought you were sleeping next to a bowling alley. I was really looking forward to this short vacation and left the hotel very disappointed.

Outdated rooms that really need renovation. The price-performance ratio really doesn't fit at all. Apart from 2-3 employees, everyone was really unfriendly and annoyed. Both when we had contact points with our children and without. Except for the children's bathrobe and the potty, the hotel staff and especially the other guests were very unfriendly towards families with children. We've really never experienced this before. The buffet was very expensive and not tasty, the atmosphere was super uncomfortable and the bill in the end was too expensive for what you got. The only plus of this hotel is the location, right on the beach with the mega view that you can't find anywhere else. It's a shame, more could be done with this location.

Another wonderful short vacation at the Hotel Neptun! The special requests upon arrival (bouquet of roses and welcome champagne) were all fulfilled, and the Weineck restaurant was, as always, very nice. A special thank you goes to the “breakfast egg artists” of the service team in the Sky Bar, who make the heavenly breakfast a humorous start to the day. Warnemünde always only in Neptune. We are looking forward to our next short vacation. Thank you very much 😃

A childhood dream, with shining eyes you looked up high and now, decades later, you looked out from the 15th floor with a 24 hour wonderful view and enjoyed every minute! The service in the hotel, whether reception, bar, breakfast, room service, spa...etc up to the spontaneous extension, is a really friendly team at Neptun. In this way, memories of stories told by grandparents from times past were brought to life! A relaxing experience! With sadness and a tear in our eye on the day of departure but with the knowledge that we would be happy to come back to enjoy and feel good! Thanks to the Neptune team.

I was at the Neptun Hotel for the Tower Lighting 2025. The view was good and I could enjoy it from the balcony. But I had to pay extra money to have this. The rooms are quite small and no longer up to date for 5 stars. You can tell that the house is big because you stand at the elevator for ages until you can go down because they are always full. In some cases it also seems like mass processing. I find it sad that as a solo traveler you are often left behind. A window seat at dinner is hardly possible as these are reserved for two or more people. Unfortunately I couldn't visit the cafe either. I had cake/coffee included in the booking and unfortunately I couldn't redeem it. Unfortunately, massages could no longer be booked on site. Very unfortunate. The hotel itself is ok, but with small deficiencies. But the view from the tower lights was good.

It's always great on the Baltic Sea. No matter what time of year. The hotel itself is getting old and, for a 5 star hotel, it needs to be modernized in some places. e.g. B. The socket on the bed is at floor level and can only be reached by moving the bedside table away. The SPA area and the food are highly recommended.

I was only in this beautiful hotel for about 2 hours because I was visiting someone in the lobby. Therefore I can't write anything about the rooms, service and overall appearance of the largest hotel far and wide. First of all, I noticed that there was no bellman etc. standing in front of the entrance to hand the luggage cart or anything else to any arriving guests. That's why people who have no business being here can come in without hindrance (a man approached me who wanted change for food). It is clean, structured and there is a pleasant atmosphere here. The beach is right in front of you and many shops are within walking distance.

This hotel is no longer a 5*… Disappointed upon arrival… Reception unfriendly and in a bad mood… Requests were not taken into account when making the reservation. Received room cards even though it wasn't clean yet! The cleanliness of the rooms is subpar... tampons from the previous person in the trash, crumbs and stains of feces in the bathroom so visually cleaned in a hurry... but I can recommend the breakfast and the service in the restaurant and bar as well as the SPA including treatments! I'll save posting photos...

I felt completely comfortable again and recovered very well during my stay at the Hotel Neptun. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I had a lot of treatments in the SPA that were very good for me. I also enjoyed using the gym and occasionally the sauna. Otherwise, despite the unfortunately not so good weather in January, I went for a walk by the sea every day. The sea air is very good for me. The hotel really offers everything I need!

So people: We called ahead and were promised over the phone that we would get a room on the 18th floor. People were still very friendly there. Arrived after 3 very stressful days (we had to view apartments and conclude rental agreements) we were warmly welcomed. We also reported about it on site and even wrote down a friendly employee from this real estate company because, according to him, he had been looking for an apartment for a long time. Then we got the first key on the 18th floor, room 1824. When we opened it we were overwhelmed by the pungent smell! It smelled like 'death'! (My girlfriend is a specialist in a retirement home over 16 years old and can judge this precisely). We got to the bottom of this and can say with absolute certainty that it was the left curtain that smelled. Impossible to spend the night like that! I was pretty sick and it was basically stuck in my nose. Asked below for someone to come up with me...no response! We were then offered another room on the 17th floor (even though it was 18th on the phone), number 1718. Guys, what can I say, it smelled like 'feces' there! (Something probably came off on the carpet) We went back downstairs, not only were we pretty exhausted by now, we hadn't slept for two days and we had told the staff about it at the beginning, but we also had a disgusting stench of death on one side of our nose and a stench of feces on the other side Nose ! My girlfriend might not mind it that much, but I was pretty sick. As I said, we were pretty exhausted so we agreed to another offer on the 16th floor. But by now I was so sick that staying overnight was simply no longer possible! I would probably have broken the last room! We only spent the last room on the balcony, I don't think it was 15 minutes, but it was the last chance to get my nausea under control with fresh air... No luck, it didn't work. We wanted to celebrate our new future in Rostock and treat ourselves to a nice hotel with our meager salary. We didn't manage to get any of the staff into the 'stinky rooms'. We then asked for our money back. According to the staff, no one in charge was there anymore and we were supposed to come back the next day. But since the staff had already made statements in the evening or night (checking in was around 11 p.m.) like: "You don't have a room and you are simply more sensitive than others," we are of course there again the next day for free been ! We first let everything happen discreetly by sitting in the farthest corner for the discussion. This conversation took almost a hour of our lives! The person you were talking to who came actually just had to open his fly to make it even worse! He talked to us for almost half an hour (we also waited half an hour for the gentleman) and then told us when we got up that we wouldn't get any money back! P.s.: the police didn't come at all and said it was civil law! So we had no choice but to express our anger verbally. So perspective, perspective folks: 'At least remember the room numbers 🙏'

The best hotel on site in Warnemünde, you can see it from afar. You can't complain here, the service and staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortably furnished. With a balcony and a very nice view of the surrounding area. With this view of the Baltic Sea and the surrounding area you can have a wonderful holiday. There's not much to say about the food, there are delicious dishes for everyone. You just have to be able to decide, which is very difficult. Swimming and sanitation are very good here. Highly recommended and really very nice.

Telephone accessibility - above ground - is really underground - despite all the forbearance of the labor shortage. I compare this to Adlon, Ritz, Four Seasons. We want to book, we called, we wrote an email. Then nothing for two days. Then called again today (due to special booking), nothing. This is no longer appropriate for 4-5 stars. And a recommendation: If you already offer a bot, please train it professionally - or switch it off. You are definitely missing out on thousands of euros per week in sales/profit.

That's not how I would treat my enemy or guests who shouldn't come back, we have one in the hotel every day Booked a treatment in the spa which costs a lot of money, but it's there everyone the same, in their bathrobes, I celebrated my 50th birthday in the hotel and wanted to spend the afternoon with my husband in the café after our 100-minute treatment before we went out to eat, but we weren't allowed to, we wanted one Window seat (there were some free) I didn't say it was my birthday, but guests from outside the hotel who hadn't ordered after us were seated at the window, but we were told it was her birthday, yes me too and we are guests in the Hotel, I said, yes then we should wait, something will be available soon, we went before because it was my birthday too and we left a lot of money in this hotel, we just couldn't drink coffee, we left and we know that we will no longer visit this "5 star hotel"!!! It changes so quickly, 1 moment, one statement and it ruins the entire impression and my special day!!!!!!

All in all a very nice holiday. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Buffets very rich and for every taste. What we unfortunately have to criticize is the service at the evening buffet. As a guest, you shouldn't have to listen to the disagreements between the staff, including eye rolling. A must for us every year! Very friendly and courteous care from arrival to room service as well as a view of the promenade, the beach and Warnemünde itself that cannot be repeated! There is nothing to add to this rating in 2023 either! New Year's Eve 2023/24 was another highlight for us. Dancing in the Skybar with great acts and a very good menu. We were guests twice in 2024 and we will definitely come back. There are no compromises in the friendliness of the staff and the service. We have certainly succeeded in maintaining and improving the standards of many past years. Also and perhaps also because of the training of many young people with foreign roots, which we would certainly like to rate as positive. However, there was one point that we didn't really like. We think that the new uniform of the service personnel does not suit the "Neptune" at all, and this should at least be looked at critically again. Finally, we would like to mention the following: We have been traveling with our pet for many years and are therefore always accommodated on the 15th floor. At this point we would like to say a special thank you to Ms. Amfeld and the rest of the team, who always make our stay on "your" floor so pleasant. Thank you very much! Great view of the sea, rich breakfast, good gym and pool, friendly staff. Unfortunately, many things were not working: stuck in the elevator, clogged drain in the bathroom, relay malfunction for the room electrical circuit, milk dispenser buffet broken. However, defects were repaired quickly and friendly by the employees. The parking garage is narrow and a challenge.

If you want to experience a nice weekend on the Baltic Sea, then the Neptun Hotel in Warnemünde is the right decision. A first class service. You are available in all areas. Very nice rooms, nothing was missing, we were really surprised. We had a junior suite – unique in its facilities. The breakfast on the 19th floor/Skybar is absolutely great, after which the day can really start. The bartender knows his craft and conjures up great mixed drinks for the taste and the eye. We'll save some money again and then treat ourselves to a nice junior suite at the Hotel Neptun.

Great location, very nice view of the sea and Warnemünde. Very friendly staff in all areas. Breakfast very good. Swimming pool and sauna good, fitness area extensive with a view of the Baltic Sea. Disadvantages: The rooms offer little storage space, sufficient for a long weekend, critical for a longer stay. The waiting times for the elevators are very long during arrival and departure phases. The clothing some guests wear for breakfast, sportswear, is an impertinence for employees and other guests. Thank God, exceptions! Overall, the hotel obviously has a lot of regular guests and they should know it!

Looked out for decades, also looked out in October 2024. In October 2024, my wife and I treated ourselves to the five-star Hotel Neptun for a week. We had a very nice holiday in the corner panoramic room 1517. The view of Warnemünde was wonderful at any time of the day/night. We were also thrilled about the rich offer of the heavenly breakfast in the panoramic coffee with a wonderful sunrise. We also enjoyed it thoroughly every day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. We also enjoyed a wonderful evening of dancing in the in-house discotheque until early in the morning. As far as the prices are concerned, we swallowed quite a bit before booking. It hardly mattered to us whether the Hotel Neptun still lives up to five stars today. We need a nice room to stay and good service. This time we treated ourselves to the Neptune and were not disappointed in our expectations and will always look back fondly on this holiday.

Ladies and Gentlemen With this email I would like to express my incomprehension that reservation requests from you are not being answered. After I was rejected for the first time in spring 2024, this has now happened to me for the second time in a row. In the spring I wanted to book a week in August (over my birthday) for my family and I. After the reservations department couldn't be reached after several attempts, I left my number on the answering machine. After all, a short-term callback is promised. However, there was no callback and I booked in Kühlungsborn out of frustration. Now I tried to make the reservation again because my wife is celebrating her birthday in February and we have spent more of our birthdays and holidays at the Neptune in recent years. But this time too there was no call back. I'm disappointed. I certify that as your prices have increased, your service has decreased. I'm tired of Neptune now. Today again as a day guest in the Neptun Spa. Actually quite nice as always, even if the pool is no longer quite “state of the art”. But today was a special experience. When we asked about an additional towel for the fitness room, the spa manager appeared and told us in a condescending, authoritarian tone that this was not part of the spa package. This appearance was more reminiscent of the attitude and tone of bygone times than of a customer-friendly service attitude that would be appropriate in a five-star hotel. Luckily they weren't arrested.

SPA unfortunately very expensive and unfortunately the price is not justified. The swimming pool is very small and apart from 3-4 saunas and a relaxation room there isn't really anything else on offer, which is a shame for the 50-60 EUR daily price. The breakfast, however, is highly recommended. The buffet costs EUR 32 for day guests and is very diverse. Whether sweet, savory, salty or vegetarian, there is something for everyone. What also stands out is that the service is excellent no matter where you are in the hotel!

Dear Sir or Madam, dear Mr Zöllick, All in all, it was another special few days in your house. We felt comfortable from the start and enjoyed everything. However, in my review on Holidaycheck I will also point out that there were some points of criticism that need to be pointed out. For example, the bar on the ground floor, which doesn't fit in with the rest of the house. I have already pointed out the extreme waiting times during another visit to the hotel. Unfortunately, although the criticism was received, nothing has changed. We were there on December 29th. After our dinner in the bar, we ordered 4 cocktails and a beer at around 8:15 p.m. and got everything around 9:00 p.m. Since we were in the house with friends, they couldn't believe it with cocktail prices around €15.00. Not that the colleague didn't work, but a bartender can't do that. Not even with the statement that his colleague went sick at short notice. A day later we had 2 colleagues at the bar and they didn't do any better. There's something wrong with the price-performance ratio. Which wasn't very good either, my wife wanted something for my birthday which was on January 1st. is, order flowers at the reception on December 28th. The answer: “that won’t be possible until January 3rd at the earliest”. It's a shame, we're on January 2nd. departed. In my opinion it should be possible in a top hotel on December 31st. Flowers for January 1st to order. Especially because the floral decorations for the really good New Year's Eve event had to come from somewhere. The last negative criticism also has to do with the New Year's Eve event. After dinner and the first round of dancing, we wanted to stroll through the house with our friends and also visit the Sky Bar. There was no one at the door, so we stood at the higher bar for a moment. After a few seconds, a security guard appeared and asked us in a relatively rude manner to leave the bar immediately. I told him that we were guests at the event in the house and just wanted to take a look. He doesn't care and if we don't leave immediately... then I said to him: "then will you drag me out of the hall?" I wanted to know his name, which he didn't tell me. I then asked the restaurant manager, who came immediately and of course gave us the opportunity to stand at the bar. That was professional. What the security colleague delivered (the shirt had 3 letters on the collar) was unworthy for guests of the house and I will also report that to Holidaycheck. If it is not planned that we as guests are allowed to visit the other event rooms, then I apologize for my visit to the bar. However, this should have been noted on the admission ticket. As always, the SPA was top positive with very friendly staff and the restaurant also had very good staff for us on all occasions! We were very satisfied with the service. Maybe on departure days like January 2nd. The lower lane in front of the hotel will also be opened. The crowd at the departure in front of the hotel lobby was extreme.

We spent the Christmas holidays in this hotel. It is a “luxury” hotel. This is of course also noticeable in the overpriced prices (a tea €6.90). The spa area absolutely needs a renovation for a 5 star hotel. There are a lot of older people in the hotel, guests look you up and down to see if you meet the “standard” there. We also had this feeling from the staff one evening in the skybar. The room and the food are delicious and nothing is missing. There was always something going on in the lobby bar in the evenings, we were looking forward to the Christmas evenings and were absolutely disappointed. A small band was in the lobby bar every evening for the whole holiday, playing the same music every day... Really annoying. We have stayed in cheaper hotels where we liked it better.

In my opinion the cancellation conditions are outrageously high, 80% and breakfast is not deducted. Even the days that were canceled in good time (7 days in advance) will not be deducted as if it were a package trip. Only the day of arrival counts. I can't judge the house itself. But I will definitely never book there again.

The heavenly breakfast on the 19th floor is a real treat for us. The care, this time on most days by Ms. Wellsandt, was really perfect, professional and yet personal. So the day starts relaxed and can only be good ;-) Ms. Ahlfeld (?) from the cleaning service ensures perfectly clean rooms. Big praise here too. I can also only praise the employees in the fitness area and in the gym. All equipment is clean and very well maintained - quite the exception for a hotel gym. Since I couldn't clarify some of my requests online, I booked the room by phone. I had the first conversation with an extremely friendly employee who asked me to call back later because she had to clarify my requirements first. I had the second conversation with an employee who was not unfriendly, but very assertive and didn't seem very customer-oriented to me. So when she took my credit card details, she told me that they don't accept cards from this company for advance bookings, which I think is okay - but here too, the sound makes the music. Contrary to our telephone agreements, the email confirmation that I then received was partly incorrect or agreements were missing. In order to avoid possible discrepancies in advance, I immediately complained about this incorrect confirmation by email, and I received the correct confirmation the following day from a third employee. Despite these initial annoyances: We had wonderful days at NEPTUN, would love to come back and give a clear recommendation for the hotel, staff and SPA.

Pure wellness, even if the hotel looks rather unattractive from the outside...We are here for the third time (today January 5th, 2015) and we will come here again and spend the post-new year week here in 2016. The rooms are all newly renovated (at least ours have been in the last 3 years/times), the kitchen conjures up real delicacies and the service lives up to the standards of a very good hotel! I also think 5 stars is a bit excessive - 4 stars plus fits better here!!! You can't choose paying guests... I've never seen anyone wearing slippers, either in the restaurant or anywhere else! The wellness area is divided into two areas. On the one hand in the sauna, indoor swimming pool and fitness area. On the other hand, in the SPA/Thalasso area, where massages and treatments are offered. The latter area can easily compete with any very good SPA! The sauna area was completely renovated in 2014. It has become larger and more open. This makes it look a bit like a swimming pool sauna, but for a 300-room house it is well able to cope with the onslaught. The price is OK, especially since there are several offers directly from the hotel (ask or website or internet). We are happy to pay this price and are already looking forward to our next visit to the Neptun. As of 2015

It's Advent again and we're celebrating it in Neptune. As soon as we enter, we are greeted with a bitter Nordic “Moin - here again”. Like every year, it was excellent. This time we were particularly pleased that an employee in the Skybar opened the roof for us at coffee time. My wife knew this from the GDR era, remembering the dance evenings in the summer. Thank you very much for that!!! Her cuisine was sensational again, we especially learned to love her dinner menus this year. A special greeting to the kitchen team. They listen carefully to their guests. Thank you again for the wedding anniversary floral greeting! The WiFi registration would have to be readjusted. When registering, you are asked to specify the day of departure, but in your description you write “arrival day”. So it takes a few tries before you realize where the error is. We'll see each other again on our wedding anniversary in 2025!!!!

Bad breakfast for 48€! The location and view from the rooms is nice. The service downstairs in the lobby too. Unfortunately, considering the number of guests, there are hardly any seats in the lobby. Absolutely incomprehensible, especially on days with bad weather. Breakfast in the Sky Bar is even worse. When the staff finally makes it to your table (I understand that talking to regular customers is more exciting than entertaining new guests), you can order your breakfast. I ordered my scrambled eggs not completely cooked and with chives, I could have avoided both requests. All the scrambled eggs at the table came ready like they were from the canteen and without chives. The rolls taste like cheap baked rolls from the wholesaler, you won't find whole grains without wheat. The cucumbers taste like they were from the day before, the table is far too small for all the food. All in all, it's not even remotely worth the €48. I was here last time.

When I had a problem with the SuitePad, it seemed to me that it wasn't taken seriously or was less "important". Report to reception first thing on Saturday morning, then again by phone in the afternoon and then a third time in the evening (again at reception). Was informed by a lady (possibly the organizer of the Jazz Ball) that nothing would happen before Monday and that there was a lot going on because of the Jazz Ball. In a 5 star hotel, such statements should probably be avoided. If you're supposed to use the pad for everything, then it should work. Just replace it and you're good. Even when there is a lot going on (and that is certainly not just once a year in this hotel), every guest should feel equally well treated. I didn't feel that at that moment.

We went to eat in a large group of individual couples and everything was going well until the moment of paying, when they told us that each card payment has a surcharge of €3 extra, which they did not tell us at the beginning nor is it specified on any sign in the restaurant. In any country in the world that is called abuse and scam. Be very careful with this site.

I celebrated my 75th birthday there on September 7th, 2024. The landlady lovingly prepared everything for us. The buffet we ordered was very good and plentiful. Everyone enjoyed it. When it came to drinks, all wishes were catered for. Thank you again for the team. The restaurant is definitely recommended. Karin
