We just ate something there. Slight stains on some chairs and unfortunately also on the tablecloth. But the food was good.

I only rate the restaurant here: The standard is quite high with 4 stars. The selection of dishes, the setting of the tables and the entire ambience seem to follow this standard. We were a family group of 10 and had the same beautiful table one day and several meals. The negative impressions began when we were asked to go to the café and order our food for the evening. The kitchen wants it that way. Ok, although the restaurant offers a la carte. Well, you have to study the evening's menu with your coffee. But instead of taking the order, an A4 sheet of paper was put down and you had to enter the order there. So we filled out, like an attendance list for parents' evening. Some still couldn't decide and wanted to place an order for dinner. Understandable. In the evening the waiter said that there were still orders missing and that some of them had not yet entered the list. And here it comes: the waitress seriously insisted on adding the requests to the list instead of including them with the drinks. I've never experienced anything like this! Here too, the kitchen wants it that way. Mind you, the hotel has 4 stars and the restaurant has quite high standards. It's more of a side note that the side dish of fries for a hefty €5 was too little and too cold, the dressing was forgotten for the salad nest and generally the service (availability of the waiter) left a lot to be desired.

Nice hotel in a nice location. Room clean, bed comfortable, nice facilities to feel good. Breakfast, rich buffet. Location directly at Wörlitzer Park.

Positive: location and furniture, very friendly staff. Breakfast: too few staff to maintain the buffet. It's a shame but understandable, it's ok and can be corrected in the long term, although it's far from 4 stars. The same applies to the cleaning: "they didn't enter any cleaning today" - again, even with 2 stars I was expected that the room would be checked once a day. At 4 the bed will definitely be made. But then unfortunately the big hit is that the guests are no longer allowed to sit in the hotel at night and they send the guests out the door - while a wedding is going on and everything is open anyway - an absolute no go. We buy drinks from you and then have to get out of the lobby and bar, out the door or into our room like we're on a school trip. It would be great to be able to use one of the many free spaces in all the hotel areas as guests.

We celebrated our wedding here with almost 45 people on July 24th The entire planning process with Mr. Richter was very pleasant and easy; he made time for us at many appointments. The free wedding ceremony in the boathouse was nice, also because of the proximity to the Wörlitzer Hof, where some of our guests had their rooms. The meal in menu form was very tasty and was very well received. The service manager, Ms. S., is really a soul. Unfortunately, there are also points of criticism, because the fact that a wedding also involves music should also be clear as a venue and from 10 p.m. onwards the volume in the room was said. You should know that when planning and be prepared to implement it. Unfortunately, the gentleman from the service was more absent than present, which was good for us as a bride and groom and the bill, but in order to order a new drink you had to be patient. Some of the table decorations (candles and tea lights) were lit by our guests themselves until I, as the bride, specifically asked the service to do this. Our honeymoon suite was nice and clean, but extremely warm and without fly screens, making it hard to live in. When asked by our guests, positive feedback predominated, although everyone found the room prices too overpriced for the facilities on offer

We celebrated our wedding here with 50 guests. The service was awesome. Very nice and accommodating. Our guests always had something to drink. The food was great and everything really tasted great. From the planning to the execution on our day, everything was great. As a wedding couple, we didn't have to worry about anything and were able to enjoy the day. Price and performance don't match at all here. The rooms are getting old and there is a clear need for renovation work. We had a junior suite and couldn't open the windows because the kitchen exhaust was constantly humming, even at night! There are no mosquito screens on the windows and the rooms are not air conditioned. There is no refrigerator/minibar in the rooms and no vending machines in the hallway. If you get hungry or thirsty here, you have to drive far to get something. The breakfast buffet is very clearly laid out. Croissants are only available on Sundays. There are no vegan alternatives here at all. In 2024 it's no longer really timely. We will definitely not book this hotel again and cannot recommend it!

Beautifully located directly at Wörlitzer Park.

Overall, a good hotel with various drawbacks in service and especially in the management area. Unfortunately, new staff were trained inadequately or without support (tactic: throw them in at the deep end). This meant that requests/suggestions were sometimes forgotten. It's a shame, because 4 to 5 stars would have been possible here.

We arrived at 5:40 p.m. and we were asked to look at the menu 🤔 only to be told that there were only drinks left - at 6 p.m. it was over 🤷‍♀️

Rooms are clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast very good. The parking situation by car was difficult. The location of the room wasn't good at all. The kitchen exhaust air blows loudly day and night. Ventilation was not possible.

The rooms are conveniently equipped with a bed, chairs, desk and closet as well as a shower and toilet with a sink. Could soon be renovated to be more modern, but completely sufficient for two people. Personally, I would like harder mattresses, they were very soft, as were the pillows. But that's just my personal feeling. What really bothered us was the lack of blinds or blackout curtains. There are curtains, but the fabric is so thin and light in color that we woke up every day at 6 a.m. to the brightness in the room. This is really extremely disturbing... Staff and restaurant very friendly, nice and helpful, food super tasty, really recommended. If you want to stay here longer, you really have to look at where you can go, sights etc., there is nothing around here apart from the park... Hotel recommended 👍

The hotel is in a great location if you want to explore Wörlitzer Park. It's easy to get around by bike.

Signs everywhere “Biergarten durch Hotel” Hot waffles and ice cream. We were already looking forward to it. Unfortunately none of that 😔

Clean, large rooms in a great location to the park. Friendly staff in the hotel and restaurant. We felt very well looked after. The rooms are not the most modern, but they are well equipped. The next time we are in Wörlitz, this hotel will definitely be our first choice.

Even if the rooms do not meet the latest standards, they are very clean and well maintained and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and a welcome bottle of water. Very, very friendly staff and the food is also very good. The location right next to the park is simply great.

“Wild garlic buffet” very good. Food was really tasty. There are enough dishes that even people who aren't really wild garlic fans can eat. Desserts particularly delicate. Fixed price per person very inexpensive. Gladly again.

Easter brunch was extremely delicious. The service was very, very friendly and accommodating. We will be back.

We had the opportunity to be here for the Easter buffet. We were welcomed very friendly. The staff is very friendly. The buffet was varied. Everyone could find something. From asparagus soup, to a cold buffet with fresh salad and the warm buffet, there was something for everyone. Everything was refilled quickly so that no one had to wait long for food. We can only recommend it. Thank you to the whole team.

The room with its sagging mattresses, unclean toilet (picture cannot be attached) as well as the general condition of the room and the entire ambience are far below standard for the price asked.

1.4. Restaurant around 4 p.m. Coffee and cake, including paying, everything was a bit tough. This is also why I exceeded my parking time by 7 11 minutes. €25 fine, that's my mistake. The public order office works very “correctly”. After the park with a boat ride, that was the big disappointment at the Wörlitz adventure day.

We were there for the buffet on Easter Monday. The staff was really nice. We enjoyed it quite well so far. The only thing that was a bit annoying was finding a parking space.

We had booked an arrangement for March 8th. It was a great evening, great food and friendly service. The room and the breakfast buffet were very good.

Fine hotel with pleasant rooms. Good service, breakfast with regional foods, cuisine is good and not overpriced. Perfect starting point for the Dessau Wörlitz garden kingdom and cycling tours.

Ladies and Gentlemen , I would have liked to have spoken out personally, but unfortunately no one in charge was there on a Sunday evening. Yesterday evening we reserved a table in their restaurant for 4 people at 6 p.m. When we arrived, with a small number of guests, the service staff were not visible, so our presence was not noticed at first. The lady at the reception was also engrossed in the computer screen. No problem at first... After a few minutes someone came and I announced that we had reserved a table for dinner. And if you were given the choice whether in the restaurant or in the summer garden - this wasn't a problem either... We opted for a window seat at the restaurant and, despite having made a reservation, we were not assigned a nicely set table beforehand. When I reserve a table, I expect that it will be properly set and there will be fresh table linen on the tables for dinner. So we were allowed to sit at a table that had been dirty by the previous guest, where nothing was set and there was no atmosphere for a nice a la carte dinner. (A masker to cover up the stains would have done the job + cutlery and cloth napkins) It was still not a big operation and there were only two of the staff in the service, which would not have been possible to act in a guest-oriented manner. The menu was presented to us and I have to say I was surprised at how well they work with regional products at these prices. We first ordered drinks, but the nice gentleman from the service wasn't even able to pour the water (also very weak for the standard of a restaurant). When picking up the food, he also said he had to clamp the tray between his legs instead of placing it on a service table or bringing it back to the counter. Very uncomfortable. We were then given a plate with cutlery and paper napkins...while other guests got the bonus of receiving cloth napkins. Mind you, the spoons for the soup were then handed over later. It is also possible to provide guests with the right cutlery for all courses. As mentioned above, I would have liked to make my displeasure known in these situations, but the fact is that my grandma doesn't want that and it is embarrassing for her. There is absolutely nothing to complain about about the food, it was very good. Kudos to the kitchen. However, the design of the dishes with the respective vegetable side dishes could be a little more classic. We all enjoyed the food, but unfortunately dinner in the a la carte area depends on the host, who is supposed to create the atmosphere and is also able to offer and sell something to the guest given the capacity. There was no service orientation, which is a shame. When we cashed in with a card, they turned their backs/buttocks to us instead of taking two steps away out of decency. We are always happy to tip with good conscience. The tip yesterday was only intended for the good food and I would have preferred to give it to the kitchen personally. In summary, I am very disappointed with the service and being seated at a dirty table when making a reservation in advance is very unpleasant for us and the guest certainly does not want to dine in such a cold environment in the evening. I would have liked to give this 2.5 stars, but unfortunately that's not possible. Best regards

Hatten das Silvesterarrangement 2023 gebucht und finden einfach nichts zum Meckern. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen noch besser und die Silvesterfeier war der Hammer!!! Ein herzliches Dankeschön ans Personal. Spitze!!!

Ich bewerte heute nur unser Weihnachtsessen, was wir zum Abholen bestellt hatten. Es war einfach nur top. Gans,Klösse,Rotkohl,Grünkohl, Sosse,Bratapfel... immer wieder gern. Einen Gruß an die Küche und wir kommen wieder.

Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen und teils verschlissen, Personal nett, aber leider überfordert. Reservierung am Kamin wurde nicht eingehalten! Der Kamin blieb leider aus, obwohl Winter herrschte.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am Wörlitzer Park. Es wurde in den letzten Jahren viel im Hotel modernisiert. Neue Bäder, neue Betten, neue Teppiche. Im Restaurant ist für jeden Geschmack etwas zu haben. Preise sind für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel sehr gut.
