32€ buffet per person is extremely expensive. I have to pay €17 for my child (5) even though she doesn't eat there at all. We definitely won't be coming back.

We decided to celebrate my wife’s birthday in a small circle, the atmosphere was generally good, seafood for every taste, a large selection of meat, cold beer, desserts, drinks, ice cream. I liked everything, but the price is too high in my opinion.

We always enjoyed going, but now we go very rarely. I don't think the price/performance ratio is quite right. Parking is also quite difficult. And if you sit there for longer than 2 hours you have to pay a surcharge of €3.00 for each additional hour.

Unfortunately I have to say that I'm a little disappointed. The food was okay but not like before. After the renovation there is nothing to see of the dining rooms. Cobwebs are still present and the toilet is a disaster. Probably won't visit again. It's a shame but the price-performance ratio is far apart.

The store has been closed for renovations for about a month now, the only thing that has changed is the illuminated counters. The children's area is just sad, 3 small things on the floor, and a broken slide (dangerous), the store is busy, sometimes there are up to 20 children in these 5 square meters, and there are exactly 3 small things in terms of toys. So I think a few hundred euros would be possible to invest... Food is good, everything else is ok so far. 32€/person is just sporty, but you have to know for yourself.

There is a large selection at the buffet, the things from the grill take a while but there is a large selection of drinks. Everything I tried tasted good. The plates were cleared relatively quickly. Card payment is possible, but only at the exit.

Really tasty for all-you-can-eat buffet, but on the high end of reasonable prices, even if you can eat a lot. Friendly staff. It's big enough that there are always free tables, but the more people there is, the noisier it gets. Some parking space by the street in front of the restaurant, but not always easy to find a free spot.

It was a very good restaurant, the food was very tasty but not like in a 5 star restaurant, which I don't expect with an all you can eat buffet that comes with drinks included. We paid €30 per person for the all you can eat, which I found justified for what I ate 😁

My wife and I went to this restaurant for her birthday in the middle of last week. We looked at the menu online in advance and chose the appropriate dishes. We entered the restaurant looking forward to a lovely evening. We then had to register at a kind of “ticket booth”. A rude lady then gave us a plastic card with the words "Table 1". One of the service staff then picked us up and led us to our table. I've already seen the amount of €32 on his order pad. When I asked for a menu the answer came; "There is only food from the buffet and that for €32 per person. Not just today but every day of the week." At this moment I asked myself why there is a menu on the internet. In my opinion, everything is aimed at people who are very hungry or who are looking for mass. We left the restaurant disappointed and without ordering anything. We definitely won't be coming back again.

A good place if you want to eat and drink a lot for a low price and if you preffer quantity over quality. There are lots of foods to choose from - the sweet sour chicken was amazing as well as the fresh made stir fry. The sushi was disappointing as well as the desserts. There was also unfortunately no still water in bottles. The restaurant is also extremely loud similar to a cantine.

We arrived at 2:00 p.m. and lunch break was probably at 2:30 p.m. We still had to pay the full €32 per person for half an hour and we had to pay €16 for the leftovers so we could take them with us - Where people are starving in other countries, in this restaurant people would rather throw away their leftovers than let them take them away for free. Shame, I can't really think of anything else to say, I've actually always liked going there even though the price is very high, but after this promotion I won't go there anymore and I'll also inform my friends and relatives 👎🏻 Huge thumbs down!

Poor offer for a Chinese buffet.

The buffet offers a large selection of different dishes. There is a salad bar and a sushi counter. You can also put together a plate yourself and have it grilled. There is a wide selection of dessert. There is also ice cream and soft ice cream available. Drinks are included in the price. Choice of water, lemonade and coffee. Alcohol is limited per person. Otherwise, for the price you have 3 hours to eat and drink. Staff is nice and attentive.

We go there regularly and are very satisfied. Great selection, regular refills, staff are always very friendly. Only the lighting could be a little better, the dimmed lamps make it unnecessarily dark (and the food definitely doesn't have to be hidden!) and: as a non-Ulmer, we come by car, the parking situation on the street is traditionally not the best. ..

I was there on my birthday, Thursday, but it was a holiday. Exactly at 5:30 p.m., it was very crowded, queued for a long time to get something. With the drinks it is much easier, there are many refrigerators with non-alcoholic drinks or beer. Coffee vending machines and vending machines for other drinks. To get wine, you have to go to the bartender. At the entrance you will receive a card with a table number, which you will then hand over to pay in the evening. Actually, I would like to give no stars at all for the food and service, but unfortunately that's not possible. Both on the restaurant's website and when researching on the Internet (Google) I found menus with various main courses starting at around 10 euros. Knowing this, I reserved a table for 3 people. In the restaurant we finally found out that there is only buffet food for 32 euros per person!!! I ask myself, is the information on the Internet intended (dish from around 10 euros) to ensure that at least someone enters the restaurant? Despite the horrendous price, we decided to stick around, hoping that at least the quality was right. What can I say... The food was lukewarm at best!!! The quality was sometimes poor to unsatisfactory!!! The salad buffet (doesn't really belong in an Asian restaurant) was the best part. For an overall below-average meal, the three of us paid a whopping 95 euros!!! Once and never again!!!

Their food and service are excellent

We like going to Hong Yun Lai. The food is good, the selection at the buffet is extremely rich and fresh. Service at the buffet is understandably limited to clearing away, and the staff can barely speak German. You can now find this in many restaurants. The furnishings are marble-chic, which creates a sophisticated atmosphere. Deduction only for the men's toilet, the urinals could slowly be put in order.

Very large selection of Chinese delicacies. The warm dishes were all warm or hot. The food tastes very tasty. The only disturbing factor: the sauces are lined up one after the other - unfortunately there are people who then let the peanut sauce drip over the other sauces. This is not good for allergy sufferers... The only thing that's annoying is that there are just really anti-social people who fill their pockets with the free drink bottles and take them home with them. I wouldn't be surprised if bags were searched when paying... There was no control whatsoever as to whether the plates were empty or whether there was still anything left on them. Otherwise a recommended restaurant.

One of the best buffet restaurants I know in the area. There is a very large selection of dishes (which are replenished quickly), as well as significantly more drinks than in other restaurants of this type. Dishes are cleared directly at the table, the service is generally very good, and the prices are reasonable.

Never again ! It's kind of slacked off. The workers are wearing sweatpants. Can't communicate. The chef at the counter with the fresh dishes prepared the food far too greasy. Instead of quality, we only focus on quantities and sales. A pity. We're not coming anymore.

The food was great, only the rice was a little bit dry but that wasn't the problem for me. Really liked the fried chicken with sweet sour sauce. Also the option to get as many as you want non alcoholic drinks was great (including water) and I got 2 beers( there are also non alcoholic options). Additionally they have very unusual options for meet like kangaroo meat and zebra meat( all other kinds also available) but I haven't tried them. Something that wasn't great, was the atmosphere, it was you could say a little bit loud, but that would be expected from a buffet with tons of people. Overall liked it.💪🏿 Would go for a second time!

The environment needs to be cared for more, the display of food needs to be improved, and cleanliness needs to be improved a lot.

I love it there!! Totally nice and above all happy employees. A brutally large selection of food and also very, very tasty. We go there regularly and have been more than satisfied every time. A request to customers: Don't throw away so much food! Just run again instead of throwing away half the plate every time. It really hurts when you see the people next door overfilling your plate, even though you know full well that you won't be able to do it and then 3/4 of it is thrown away :(

Rich buffet for every taste including drinks

I've eaten here twice now and each time it was very good! The selection is gigantic and something very special for special occasions! I particularly like how the comfortable seating is separated from the buffet so that you have enough privacy while eating.

Food is fresh and good for an all-you-can-eat. The staff is sometimes a bit confused but very friendly! The restaurant is very large and therefore it is noisier and not perfectly clean. Nevertheless, all in all recommended.

It's good, tasty and fresh. However, the high expectations were not met. When it came to tepanjaki, the sauce I had provided wasn't on the plate in the end, so dry noodles were fried and served. Plus point: the sushi selection was huge and very tasty, sushi lovers will get their money's worth here. Minus point: there was neither Tsingtao nor lychee juice to drink. Addendum: on the second visit the selection was more balanced and the dishes were very tasty. The Tepanjaki also worked this time. Since there was a lot going on, it was very loud again, it was like a company canteen at point 12. So it wasn't suitable for two people.

Asian restaurant with a good buffet selection of food, in the evening with a good fresh selection for grilling, lots of drinks. All inclusive prices, which have been increased quite a bit with 7% VAT!!!, and now again!!!, small buffet at lunchtime is now 17 euros, large buffet in the evening at least 32 euros, always per person. Service is good, tables are cleared often. Unfortunately there are no dedicated parking spaces, you have to look for them on the street. You should pre-order from Friday as it is always packed on weekend evenings.
