It's a shame when you relax and enjoy a nightcap and actually want to leave after your first order. Two drinks took 15 minutes with a small number of guests Even after asking, the water we ordered wasn't brought... the strawberry mochito probably didn't see any alcohol... when we asked, they just said it had alcohol in it! Summary... a different restaurant for the next nightcap.

The small courtyard is a lovely place to sit in a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately quite a lot went wrong with our orders, no apology or correction from the Holy Monk. The waitresses don't really make you feel welcome. Very unfortunate.

Good food, beautifully decorated shop, some terribly unfriendly staff, unfortunately not family friendly at all. The food is good, but not so great that you're happy to pay the hefty prices. It is very nicely decorated inside and outside it is also nice and cozy. Children are tolerated but nothing more. Strange rules like 'tables may not be moved outside' (we wanted to be in the shade when it was 32 degrees, there was enough space) were simply enforced without explanation (we had asked). That's just the way it is, the tables can't be moved. The staff was repeatedly unfriendly and spoiled our mood. This didn't just happen once. In the end it was so bad that we left again. Plus point that, in fairness, has to be mentioned: One of the few in the restaurant here that offers gluten-free alternatives. You can eat well and have a nice evening/day here, but not with small children. The service should be aware that families have different needs and requirements. If these cannot be met, you can also convey this in a friendly manner and not in a sloppy way.

My friend had a big, boiled green fly in her food. Unfortunately no apology, no discount, espresso or schnapps. I like going to the Monk, but she will never go again. A pity! I didn't like it either 👎

Today we were only here for a cocktail, but we also ate something. The atmosphere is very nice, the service is friendly and helpful. And the food is really good. There is always room for two people, but a reservation makes sense.

A beautiful restaurant, with a beer garden. Very nice staff. The warm food was very good, the salad with the meal was, well, a matter of taste, the 4 of us didn't like it at all. The only criticism was that it was very expensive, the value for money wasn't right. Very full, make a reservation in advance if you want wanted to go there.

For years after Mönchshof times, we went to another restaurant in Schwabach for breakfast🤷🙂 ......since I'm no longer enthusiastic about it, we've now tried the Holy Monk🤔 ... we'll probably be in here Have breakfast more often in the future... I've wanted to go to Holy Monk for a very long time because I kept hearing about it and now it was finally time... The selection of food and drinks is sufficient, if not too much The breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared, the only thing I didn't like was that there was only a roll and other strange pieces of baguette and they were served carelessly in a bag The staff, or a certain employee, seemed very self-absorbed, preferred guests who came after us, constantly asked them if everything was okay, but not with us, the guests who came after us were of course served first, Another employee was standing around very awkwardly, I then asked him if we could also order from him, he said yes and the order went very quickly The toilets are in need of renovation and there was an unpleasant smell... It's a shame, it's a nice place and some of it is beautifully furnished, you could definitely do more with it... Since I'm an honest person, I told the employees when I paid what I didn't like, which was brushed off with "yes, yes," which is a shame

I have been to the Holy Monk several times as a guest, and on Saturday I also attended a private party. For us as guests it was a perfect evening, absolutely friendly and courteous service (the glasses were never empty), excellent food and a great ambience. Whether regular operations or celebrations, I can recommend the Holy Monk without reservation.

We had a big celebration there yesterday in private. From preparation to implementation, the team led by Mr. Nastos and Rabon very professional and friendly. The food was fantastic, the location was beautiful, the service was excellent. We couldn't have imagined a better place for our celebration and all of our guests were just as thrilled. Unfriendly, rude staff, no solution to the problem if you cause damage to the guest!!!! Went on a Sunday full of anticipation for a good meal and nice service. Unfortunately the mood changed very quickly. We ordered 2 alcoholic drinks. The waiter lost concentration for a moment and spilled all the Cola wheat on our electronic devices lying on the table and unfortunately also on us. After we dried ourselves a bit we sat down inside because it was getting cold with wet clothes. Unfortunately, no reasonable agreement could be found as to how we can repair the damage to the expensive brand clothing. On the contrary, we were portrayed as liars and shouldn't behave like that. As compensation we were given free drinks, which were ultimately charged again. Very bad staff, most rude and rude service in a long time. Although the food was good, unfortunately everything went bad.

We ate very well, there was a nice outdoor area to sit in, you can sit there longer. Service great, price performance top.

Stopped here at the end of a bike tour. Actually just wanted to have a coffee. Food looked so delicious, we couldn't resist. :-)

A nice evening for us. Everyone can find something to eat. You don't get kicked out after your meal like at other places. Mixed audience. Young, students and older. Pleasant atmosphere. Easy if you just want to meet up to chat and drink cocktails.

We like going to Holy Monk. The ambience is right and the waiters are very attentive. During our last visit, however, we found ourselves laughing in our throats. We had two orange/ginger teas and a passion fruit spritzer. and the final price was €16.90! Clearly too much to ask for what is actually just hot water and that doesn't even have an intense taste. It's a shame and can't really be justified (even in this day and age). It's worth taking a look at the menu and the price column before ordering.

Very nice attentive staff, good food that is above the level of normal pub food. Always nice there, especially for everyone outside and also in the renovated interior. Now that has changed a lot. The service staff responds to complaints because the food was really not good and was very unprofessional. When we asked for a little more sauce, an additional portion of cheese spaetzle was brought, which we didn't want but had to pay for. The Prince's colleagues can do this much better.

As a tourist it's a great place!!

Really great restaurant, wonderful ambience, very cozy. The staff are super friendly and you don't have to wait long for your food despite the busy restaurant. We had the Baboo Burger and the Chicken Burger. Both are fantastically tasty and you'll be full too. The price is a bit high, but it's completely appropriate for what you get. Highly recommended, if we are in the area again we will definitely come back.

We went for brunch on Sunday, it was OK in my eyes. The selection of food is a bit more than good, but not so much that I would say outstanding. There is egg benedict, beef carpacio and a few “better” dishes. But! Carpacio, for example, tasted really watery without any flavor. Many dishes, like the aforementioned Egg Benedict, were really difficult to get on the plate because there were only tongs to grab it and the container was just too deep to take it properly (if I put an Egg Benedict on my plate, I don't want to crush it with pliers first). There weren't enough of these pliers either. Overall it was OK, some things were good, some things were bad. If you change a little something or put a little more effort into some things, it would be a very good brunch. The place is nice but everything is very narrow and therefore a bit uncomfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful, but not always on top of the situation. But it's not that bad. More like a 4.5/5

Telefonisch für 9°° zum frühstücken reserviert. Vor Ort um 9°° erfahren, daß erst um 9:30 geöffnet wird und es gibt nur noch Brunch für 26€, Frühstück wird nicht mehr angeboten. Uns wurde vorgeschlagen, ins Prinz zu gehen. Hätte man ja am Telefon erwähnen können. Und auch laut Homepage gibt es Frühstück und geöffnet ab 9Uhr. Einen Stern gibt es für die Freundlichkeit des Mitarbeiters

In der Vergangenheit eines unserer Lieblingslokale in Schwabach. Sehr leckere, saisonale Gerichte zu (meist) vernünftigen Preisen und ein aufmerksamer Service. Das schöne Ambiente trägt dabei ebenfalls zu einem angenehmen Besuchserlebnis bei. Der unprofessionelle Umgang mit einer länger bestehenden Reservierung, bei der man uns am Ende nicht einmal mehr die ursprünglich zugesagten Plätze zusichern wollte und konnte, hat uns aber dazu bewogen, in nächster Zeit lieber anderswo essen zu gehen...

Ein toller Laden, der Service war excelent, gute Stimmung, das Essen lecker und groß portioniert. Wir kommen wieder 😀

Wir treffen uns seit Jahren einmal im Monat im HolyMonk. Leider ist es inzwischen im Lokal zu laut was die musikalische Beschallung angeht und wenn man das Pech hat, unter einem Lautsprecher zu sitzen, muss man sich mit den Bässen rumschlagen. Entspannte Gespräche sind so nicht mehr möglich. Schade ☹️, wir werden uns wohl ein gemütlicheres Ambiente suchen. Der Service ist „es geht so“, denn es wird nie nachgefragt, ob wir noch etwas bestellen möchten. Wir müssen uns immer aktiv um Nachschub bemühen. Nachmittags ist es nun wirklich nicht sehr voll im Lokal. Das Essen ist lecker. Bisher waren wir damit zufrieden.

Das Ambiente des Lokals ist sehr angenehm, vor allem die Plätze an den Rändern des Raumes sind gemütlich und ruhig. Wir haben uns für verschiedene Frühstücks/Brunchgerichte entschieden, welche wirklich sehr lecker waren. Die Auswahl geht über den Standard hinaus. Lediglich der Tee, welchen meine Freundin für 6,50€ bestellt hat, war beinahe geschmacklos und den hohen Preis nicht annähernd wert. Service war gut, auch wenn wir etwas länger warten mussten (Laden war auch voll).

Ich bin sehr positiv überrascht! Das Ambiente ist toll, gemütlich. Das Personal super nett und das Essen sehr gut! Mein Rumpsteack auf den Punkt, butterzart. Dazu Salat, Maiskolben, Fladenbrot und Curlyfries. Sehr sehr lecker! Jederzeit wieder, danke!

Sehr gemütlich, konnten aussen sitzen da das Wetter sehr schön war. Alles auch sehr sauber. Bedienung super nett. Essenauswahl ist sehr gut. Hier findet jeder was. Qualität, Geschmack und Preis von Getränken und Essen ist auch top. Der Homemade Icetea ist mega lecker. Schnitzel war so reichlich, dass wir die Hälfte mit nach Hause genommen haben. Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man auch nur einen Cocktail trinken mag, Kaffee will oder auch richtig Essen gehen mag. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Manchmal muss man seine Bewertung überdenken, weil sich vieles verändert hat. Hier ist das der Fall. Inzwischen ist die Einrichtung renoviert und wirklich toll geworden. Die Bedienung freundlich und das Essen war lecker.

Sehr schönes und ruhig gelegenes Café und Restaurant inmitten der Fußgängerzone. Ein schöner Nachmittag hat uns nach draußen gezogen. Genügend Sonnenschirme sorgen für Schatten und die Tische sind großzügig verteilt. Ich habe ein Steak bestellt und konnte sogar die Pommes in Gemüse umbestellen. Den kleinen Aufpreis habe ich gerne bezahlt, habe ich doch frische Antipasti und einen Maiskolben bekommen. Das Steak war auf den Punkt. Später noch einen Cocktail dazu und den Nachtisch geteilt - ein perfekter Abend.

Frühstück war super lecker und reichlich

Vielleicht lag es an Wochentag und Uhrzeit, aber die Lieferanten die mit Lebensmitteln und Getränken durch die Gäste draußen liefen und Einblick in Arbeitsbereiche gewährten förderten das Ambiente nicht. Ansonsten aber alles in Ordnung, Essen und Service 👍
