The food was very good (the house pizza), and the staff was very friendly. We'd gladly go back.

I've always been satisfied with the Schmidt bakery. Rolls, cakes, etc. Always delicious. Service was excellent. I was there for lunch last Monday. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was as hard as a shoe sole, almost impossible to cut, and it wasn't seasoned either. I've been a customer for a long time, but I've never been served anything like that before. In my opinion, it wasn't fresh anymore; it was more chewy. Too bad, it was so busy...and we had an appointment. I couldn't complain on the spot. I still wrote a friendly email the next day, and then I got a call from Ms. Schmidt. She said she couldn't do anything more, she didn't understand it...that's right. No apology, nothing...I should have complained on the spot right away. Too bad 🤔 Schmidt won't see me again.

The pizza is delicious, but unfortunately the plates are always cold. It's a shame. The staff is friendly, even when things get hectic.

Great food! Good prices and super friendly service. We had spaghetti bolognese, lasagne, happy bowl and jacked potatoas with sour cream and mushrooms. It was just perfectly done! A bit noisy along the road but perfect of you stay at the hotel next door. The terrace is really nice and the staf is very helpful. We’ll be back!

We come here every week for breakfast; the value for money is exceptional. We're always served quickly and very politely.

We always enjoyed going there for breakfast or dinner. But the service in the evenings left a lot to be desired. We ordered drinks and wanted to wait to order dinner. After about 20 minutes, the server came over and said rather rudely that we'd been sitting there for an hour without ordering anything to eat. Completely irritated, we ordered a small snack. Apparently not enough, because the cutlery was practically slammed down on our table. I haven't experienced such unfriendly and unqualified service in a long time. Not again anytime soon.

My wife finds many dishes too salty, but I usually go for the baked potatoes, which come in a variety of flavors. I'm very happy with them. There's an ordering counter and one for serving food; there's no table service, but I haven't missed it yet.

The breakfast is highly recommended. Good quality and reasonable prices.

There's something for every taste. All target groups are catered to. Families, friends, or even business meetings. There are various indoor and outdoor spaces. There's a special play area for children. There's also an outdoor playground. A bakery that combines everything. The selection of food and drinks is also very good.

Yes, it's always a bit busier on Sundays. You can sit outside or inside. There's also a cozy corner set up for a nice dinner in the evening. All in all, this place is highly recommended, but there will always be little things that can be improved.

Sehr schmutzig schon um 8 Uhr am Morgen. Schmutzige Gabel halb unter dem Tischbein und Krümel unter jedem Tisch. Personal unfreundlich, besonders die ältere Mitarbeiterin. Wir saßen an dem runden Tisch und konnten die Theke nicht einsehen ob unsere Bestellung fertig war. Die Dame kam um die Ecke und sagte schroff das hier Selbstbedienung sei und unser Kaffee kalt werden würde. Wäre es zu viel gewesen statt zu motzen den Kaffee mitzubringen?!! Als wir sagten das wir das ja nicht sehen könnten zuckte sie nur mit den Schultern. Es war auch grad nur ein Kunde an der Theke, also nicht viel Arbeit da ja auch noch zwei andere Damen da waren. Auch haben sich die Damen sehr laut unterhalten.

Eating breakfast there is absolutely not recommended. The dining area wasn't even at full capacity, yet the food counter and ordering counter were extremely chaotic. The staff were completely overwhelmed by the flawed self-service concept, so much so that the pagers for order pickup were constantly forgotten.

Very nice place. Perfect for breakfast. Very tasty. Friendly staff. We'd love to go back. And we were asked if we wanted pretzels with or without salt. We've never had that before. Respect. Unfortunately, no parking with trailers...

Nein...‼️ Diese Bäckerei ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Wollten zum Standesamt waren zu früh dran deshalb haben wir uns zu einem kleinen Kaffeeklatsch getroffen und weilten auf der Terrasse... aber leider hat es plötzlich wie aus Eimern geschüttet. Ich stellte mich mit einem Hund unter das Glasdach. Unsere andere Hochzeitsgesellschaft und die Braut ( es waren 6 Personen )gingen in die Bäckerei um den Regen zu entfliehen. Alle hatten was zum trinken bestellt. Dann kam eine sehr unfreundliche und rücksichtslose älter Frau und ich schätze das es die Besitzerin war. Auch war eine Person mit Rollator dabei... Und was soll ich sagen... Die Besitzerin motze nicht nur weil wir NUR Getränke bestellten...nein...es wurde auch noch gemotzt weil der Rollator seine Spuren hinterlassen hat. Ich hatte keinen Schirm dabei und wollte mich nur unterstellen bis der Wolkenbruch vorbei war. Dann kam diese besagte älter Frau und meinte Barsch: ich soll doch von dem Eingang verschwinden. Also...Für einen Dienstleister geht sowas gar nicht. Aber trotzdem hatten wir einen wunderschönen Tag

Food was okay, service was 100% good. I went there and ordered a salad to go. The very nice lady asked in the kitchen how long it would take and told me about 20 minutes. I took a Coke out onto the terrace. Less than five minutes later, the food was ready. But what impressed me most was that the lady saw that I hadn't finished the Coke yet and immediately offered to pour it into a to-go cup. I think it's great when people think for themselves, and I was very impressed. The food itself (Gartenglück) was okay, or rather standard—not good, not bad.

Unfortunately, the salad had many brown spots. When I complained, the kitchen staff repeatedly simply said, "Unfortunately, that's the way it is."

Used to be great – now, unfortunately, just disappointing I used to be a regular at the Schmidt gourmet restaurant and really enjoyed the food there – the quality, taste, and atmosphere were just right. Unfortunately, that has completely changed. The pasta was completely inedible on my last visit – overcooked, tasteless, and far from what you'd expect. The burger meat was dry, tough, and had an unpleasant aftertaste. It's a real shame how much the quality has declined recently. I really hope things change soon – unfortunately, it's no longer worth recommending at the moment.

Not getting a Sarti Spritz at 3 p.m. is pretty annoying. Especially when you're setting up and they tell you it won't be until 5 p.m. So you don't set up until 5 p.m., right?

It's a pity that such a cafe has such tasteless food. The classic bruschetta I ordered was cold and had sour tomatoes. The Sarti aperitif was tasteless and colorless with a lot of prosecco and water.

We ordered a Sarti Spritz, which was only slightly pink and tasted like Prosecco. When we asked the waiter about it, there was no real reaction, which is a shame.

Nice Visit with the Girls We went to the Schmidt Bakery in Wendelstein with the girls yesterday and had a really nice visit. The waiter who served us was very kind and helpful. He was fairly knowledgeable about allergens – and if he didn't know anything, he asked the kitchen directly for us. We thought that was really thoughtful. Thank you for the great service!

As always, we had strawberry cake. Simply a dream. As if homemade. We'd love to come back.

Mess!!!!! Ordered a cake base on Wednesday for €3.50 and picked it up on Sunday. Then it suddenly cost €6.50 (Sunday surcharge) without informing the customer when ordering that the price would double

ES IST NICHT ERLAUBT, im Restaurant erworbene „to Go“ Getränke im Lokal zu verzehren. Die Kassenkräfte sind sehr sensibel was das Thema angeht und beharren auf ihren Standpunkt. Also wenn ihr Kakao oder Milch, Capri Sonne das nur verpackt verkauft wird trinken wollt ist Schmidt die falsche Adresse….

Beautiful, modern, large bakery with a very nice seating area - a wide variety of seating: bench, stool, armchair, something to relax on, something to work on, there's also WiFi. But why the sliding entrance door is permanently open after a night when it was still slightly freezing (it's mid-April) is a big mystery to me. The entire seating area is flooded with cold air - feet and knees are uncomfortably cold. Seems to be a trend - I've seen/felt it several times in other bakeries. Maybe the slogan with the “cozy breakfast” isn’t meant so seriously after all...

An excellent place to meet with clients. Of course, you can also have a nice breakfast/eat here privately. We've also gotten pizza here a few times - great too. The atmosphere is really inviting and cozy. The food selection is perfectly fine, and the drinks leave nothing to be desired. If you just want to get pastries or a coffee to go - that's no problem and it's delicious. All in all I can recommend it.

The Schmidt Bakery offers much more than just good baked goods - here you can find hearty dishes that are freshly prepared and really tasty. ✔ Baked sroffel with salad and side dishes, delicious pizza, pretzel dumplings, schnitzel - everything tastes great and is always fresh! ✔ Prices in the midfield, absolutely fair for the quality and freshness. ✔ Even with larger groups everything works smoothly - the food comes quickly and at the same time, which is really not a given. ✔ Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere – we always feel comfortable. Conclusion: Whether for lunch, a quick snack or with friends - we like to go there regularly. Absolutely recommended!

Great and tasty dishes, but the prices are slowly going through the roof. Then it's better to go to a real inn and have a decent meal. It's cheaper and the food is better

I always like to come back because the atmosphere and the selection are great. There is still a small opportunity for improvement. Since there is a lot going on, the friendliness is sometimes lost and there are long waiting times. Maybe it would make sense to think about having an order board (tablet) that you can easily take with you to the table. Provided WiFi is sufficient. Here you can easily choose and order and pay via Paypal. After the number appears, you can pick up everything. Would be more relaxed for the service. Would give it a try.

Sometimes I'm thrilled, sometimes not at all. It's a baking factory! A huge chain that unfortunately lacks personality now! The party pretzels are great: (five stars) the schnitzel sandwich is terrible (minus one star). Unfortunately, salami rolls are not always available. (those are great five stars). The kebab shop is two stars. It's all a matter of taste, of course. A 24-hour restaurant that deserves five stars for me! Service starts at 5:00 p.m.! Just too impersonal for me. Parking situation super difficult. Price level: high!

Tastes good, but don't bet you want to change anything on your breakfast plate! I didn't want cheese but wanted jam, which of course only works at an additional cost! So if jam were more expensive than cheese! Too bad......

We decided to grab something to eat there on the way home at short notice... and were lucky that we got a table for two. It was totally full, but we received a very friendly welcome and were immediately taken to the table that was still available. Our order - recommended on the daily menu - also came quickly. All the staff who were busily "bushing around" made a happy impression and seemed to enjoy their job - despite the full house. The price/performance - TOP! It was a lovely evening and we will definitely eat there again!

Our first date was here on January 10, 2020. Now on January 10th, 2025 we were here again. It's just great here. Great and delicious dishes 👍 The portions are just great. The waitresses are all nice and fulfill every wish. So we were there again on Saturday. Definitely reserve a table in the evening, it is very busy.

Great bakery with a great selection

We often spontaneously go out for dinner and m.m.n. the best pizza compared to the other gourmet meeting places. Always thin, crispy and well topped. The other things, burgers, pasta etc. are also good but the quality here is a bit variable. The staff is always very helpful and quick, despite the sometimes high workload. If necessary, you will also be served by the boss :)
