BREAKFAST: very good But there were only 8 tables occupied on Sunday and we waited 15 minutes until we finished our prepared plates.

We didn't recognize it as a restaurant from the outside. By chance we noticed in the hotel that there was also wood-fired pizza there. The selection is good. In addition to pizza, there are also burgers, baked potatoes and a separate ice cream menu. We had a pizza, baked potato with chicken strips and chicken schnitzel. The dishes were all delicious. The chicken strips were very well seasoned. I had a strawberry caipi - it was really well mixed - enough alcohol and not too sweet. The facility is a mix between a bakery café and a restaurant.

Bought half a double-baked bread today. Read slice it. Saw two torn slices. Then I thought to myself that it was still possible and it was tolerable. At home I saw that this was the case with all the bread. Where else will you be told if bread is too fresh or has been torn when cut. And then you are asked whether you want the bread or not. I think that's absolutely not right. Then sell such bread to the customer.

NEVER AGAIN with more than two to four people, if at all... (We were there for coffee & dinner) We reserved a table for 12 people twice for celebrations within a short period of time. EVERY TIME it's an endless wait in line, the counter staff are overwhelmed and when you order ice cream you get really rude comments. You have to count the balls for all the guests beforehand so that this can be entered straight into the cash register!!! Both times a different table was reserved than the one I had explicitly reserved with the number (this remained free). We had to go to another table and it was designed for 10 people instead of 12. When I asked the counter staff who was responsible for reservations, an older lady behind the counter casually said in an annoyed tone, without looking at me, that they were all responsible. When I didn't leave, she was a bit unfriendly again and said I should stand at the back and wait for my turn, even though I just wanted to ask why a table was reserved for 10 and not for 12 people as ordered (all guests at the table waited and couldn't sit down because there were still no seats). We then simply added a small table on our own, which an employee previously denied that she wasn't allowed to do. The transition from paying at the counter to paying at the waitress was chaotic as always.

The best baker ever > that was in 2021. Unfortunately the quality has now deteriorated. This morning around 8:45 there was no ice cream for chai latte, nor could you warm up something to take away because the oven wasn't on (yet) and therefore warm. At this time? There were enough employees on site. He was my favorite baker for years. That's currently changing, which I think is a shame.

Discovering many hard-working and motivated employees on a Sunday lunchtime in a beautiful and spacious dining room with a large selection of inexpensive food sounds like a miracle to the well-traveled, McDonald's-damaged driver on a federal highway. Plus a play area for children, clean toilets and a terrace! A stroke of luck for Schwabach and his (passing) guests. For me, this is clearly a candidate for Entrepreneur of the Year 2024. Please do not spread the word under any circumstances! Compliments to management and employees. There is hope in our country.

Ja hier kann ein Jeder zufriedengestellt werden. Das Konzept Bäcker, Café, Pizzeria und facettenreicher und schmackhafter Imbiss passt hervorragend. Familienfreundlich mit Spielplatz außen Spielzimmer innen, Außen und Innensitzplätzen, sowie barriefrei mit dem Örtchen für Rollstuhlfahrer, alles super! Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis lockt zahlreiche Kunden an, die nicht enttäuscht werden. Das Personal ist mehrheitlich freundlich. Hier macht es Spaß. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt es werden keine 200 Euro Scheine akzeptiert. Einziges Manko ist der Straßenlärm der benachbarten Straße. Absolute Weiterempfehlung.

We ordered this giant pretzel for dinner at a celebration. The pretzel was topped with salmon, salami, ham, tomato/mozzarella and Emmental cheese. Incredibly tasty and generously topped. The pretzel is a great alternative to the grill because no one has to stand next to it. An absolute recommendation in terms of taste. Thank you dear Schmidt team

The cafe/restaurant has the character of a 08/15 90s train station waiting hall, you stand in line and place your orders. I ordered two pizzas for myself and my family (2 adults and two kids 7 & 3 years old), a large mineral water and a pineapple spritzer for a total of 29. I also wanted two tap waters. These were initially refused to me because you could order still water. In addition, the waitress only had to ask the boss after I told her that this hadn't been a problem the last five times. Ultimately, after a long discussion, I got a little tap water after I, as a customer, was accused of “blackmailing” the service person because I had told her that I would review the service like that. The children's corner has been furnished in the same dreary and careless manner for years. Cleaning ladies clean between guests during main time. This time the food was partly burnt and this time it was dry and not so special. Normally and mostly the food is good and the pizzas and everything else are delicious to eat. The chefs and staff are very hard-working but often overworked and overwhelmed at the counter. Of course you can't generalize that. You feel like you're in a canteen. If you want something quick to satisfy your hunger, the restaurant is ok.

The responsible seller is looking for a card that, according to another seller, is not currently available. He read out the offered breakfast in annoyance until the other person said it was hanging out. The breakfast notice is very hidden and if you don't know your way around, you won't find it. Neither of us could look there because a lot of people came in at once, so we had the first breakfast we could get. We were not satisfied with the service.

I was very surprised that there was such a large selection and that so many people go there for lunch. You can also get pizzas next door if you want. Had a butter pretzel with coffee and it was very good. Parking is not that easy as a lot of people come here.

I was really looking forward to trying Bakery Schmidt based on the many recommendations, but unfortunately I was sorely disappointed. My main criticism was the extremely long waiting times. Despite a manageable number of customers in front of me, I had to wait a disproportionately long time for my order. Especially on the “Gartenlust” salad, just because the lady didn’t fulfill her duties to record the pager call system. But what annoyed me even more was the way the employees treated the customers. The queue was never-ending, people shouted over the counter until the next customer came along, pretty chaotic. Unfortunately, the employee's mistake was passed on to the entire team. Instead of being served with a smile or at least a modicum of politeness, the interaction was marked by rudeness and even rudeness. To make matters worse, the staff seemed to ignore any form of constructive feedback or complaints, which to me represents a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. It's a shame that a bakery with potentially great products is devalued by such poor service. I hope management addresses this criticism, but until then I will definitely avoid Bakery Schmidt and can only advise others to do the same.

Bis jetzt war ich mit dem Geschenk und der Qualität des Essens immer sehr zufrieden und hatte mich auf den "Börger" gefreut. Das Lokal war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt. Aber Dank Tischreservierung unsererseits kein Problem. Freundliche Bedienung, aber bis das Essen kam, hat es über eine Stunde gedauert! Der Börger war enttäuschend, ebenso der Krautsalat. Sehr Schade, hier wird an der Qualität gespart, dadurch leidet der Geschmack!

Eating To Go is only recommended for people who don't want to eat it warm... I ordered online today for the repeated but definitely last time and then watched my pizza get cold for 13 minutes until the second meal was ready. In other words, pizza was ready 10 minutes after ordering and pretzel dumplings at the announced time. I can really do without something like that... P.S. “Essen To Go” usually means that you want/have to eat it on the go, so an uncut pizza is really advantageous
