We were there for the first time last week. I didn't know about the service cat, but I liked it. Unfortunately, several things were missing from each course, but plates kept coming that we didn't order and made this known. At some point the waiter was very annoyed by our concerns, which he clearly made clear to us. He then constantly checked it on our tablet and saw that we were right, but no apology or anything like that. The sushi was significantly smaller than normal but that meant we were able to try out more. The calamari was very dead/inedible, but the rest of the food was delicious. The mango ice cream was a great ending. After dessert, the waiter came and actually asked us if we wanted the missing items from course 1 and 2... I hope that we just had a bad day and will give it another chance soon and then hope so runs better. How to proceed: You can order 10 courses of 5 portions per person, in between you have to take a 15 minute break before you can order again. So it would be a total stay of around 2.5 hours if you wanted to make full use of it.

We had dinner with friends in Hokkaido last night. Since we knew the restaurant and were impressed by the food, we recommended the restaurant to our friends. We were all the sadder that, with the exception of the food itself, we almost had to be ashamed. No matter how beautiful or modern the restaurant was presented, the service was unfortunately just as miserable: - There was no trace of “Asian” friendliness. Rules of etiquette do not seem to have been taught to the employees. So both a friendly greeting and an inquiry about satisfaction were missing. - The staff as a whole leaves the guest with an impression of listlessness and disinterest. - The food was not served, but was carelessly thrown onto the table. At a neighboring table we watched as the cutlery was thrown onto a plate for the ladies to distribute themselves instead of the Hashi. - The process (even if we already had experience) of ordering via the tablet was not explained. - Trays were regularly dropped, which increased the high volume in the restaurant. To eat: - The quality of the sushi and other delicacies as a whole could not be criticized, although some were simply served too greasy. Unfortunately, things kept being delivered to our table that we hadn't ordered, but some orders were missing until the end. However, the portions are sufficient, which at the end of the day at least covers the price-performance ratio in terms of the food. About the ambience: - Visually, the restaurant makes a clean and modern impression. However, if you look a little closer, the seating furniture in particular needs to be renewed. The artificial leather upholstery on the benches is worn, cracked and partially open. Conclusion: Anyone who wants to eat high-quality sushi in a quiet, authentic atmosphere will unfortunately be disappointed in Hokkaido, although the quality of the food itself is, as already mentioned, not bad. Nevertheless, the bustling, listless hustle and bustle of the employees has the effect of sitting in a well-decorated snack bar. Unfortunately, it must be assumed that the staff are unskilled temporary school/student staff. The necessary service etiquette is completely missing. Finally, we had to forego paying by card because apparently the internet in the restaurant is so bad that the card reader doesn't work? An excuse? Given the prices we had to pay, we were lucky to have enough cash with us. Therefore only well-intentioned 3 stars in the overall rating and unfortunately also probably a “Unfortunately not again!”

Were there last night and were initially a bit shocked by the condition of the seating areas. The leather on every seating group was torn, broken, etc. Even the elevator with the note... Door doesn't open every now and then, doesn't invite you to visit. Toilets in need of repair and everything somehow patched together. Really a shame. Unfortunately the service doesn't work at all! We sat at the table about 20 minutes after arriving, but no one paid attention to us, let alone brought a card. If one of us hadn't gone to the bar, we probably wouldn't have a card today. And during the course of the meal there was never once a smile from the service or an explanation of what was being brought to the table. Only the robot smiled once ☺️ But the food was really tasty, good taste, nice portions and quick preparation. Unfortunately, the various desserts weren't really that tasty. Ordering via tablet is also really positive! However, due to the general conditions such as the condition and service, we would not visit the restaurant again. It's actually a shame given the good cuisine.

Unfortunately, the times between meals are too long or too uneven. Ordered food sometimes takes 20-25 minutes to arrive at the table. The online reservation apparently wasn't included in the plan despite confirmation; people were visibly surprised by our arrival. We were also held back for less time than usual. The path to the restaurant is ugly and poorly signposted. Nevertheless, the quality of the food is very good, which makes up for the other problems.

Today I had dinner with my mom at Hokkaido in Bad Godesberg - and we are absolutely thrilled! The selection at the buffet and on the ordering menu is huge – sushi, grill, hot dishes and more. Everything was fresh and really tasty! You can conveniently order via tablet and the food arrives super quickly. Particularly sweet: a little robot served part of the food – that was a real highlight! The staff was very friendly and the service overall was great. We will definitely come back – a clear recommendation!

Very uncontrolled with the buffet. You order in rounds, the vegetarian sushi was delivered at the same time as the other, so fish roe was included. In the future, upon notification, the sushi was delivered separately, but I never received my vegetarian sushi without fish roe. I had to order again later in another round, which again took up one of the 5 free places for dishes per round. The information about which dish was now being delivered was so quiet that no one could understand it and it was unclear who owned which dish, even though it had been ordered separately. The person sitting in the front is more concerned with taking the small plates of each dish to the front so that the staff can take them and also passing the food to the back.

Tasty gluttony. In All You Can Eat, each person is allowed to order 5 dishes in each of a maximum of 10 rounds. In lap 6 only 2 out of 4 people were still in the race and they really overeaten. The quality of the food is good, although not top notch. You can try everything and find your thing. The waiters take turns with a serving robot, which is amusing but also unsettling. Ambience really cheap. It appears to be a former storage room that was set up very cheaply over a floor shop. It's all the more surprising that many guests dressed up for this event. All in all good.

Very underwhelming. The restaurant is beautifully designed and pleasantly laid out. You get one tablet per table that is set up quite simply. The staff was quite quiet from the start, almost unfriendly. We were seated at a dirty table that was only wiped down upon request. When something was put on the table, you couldn't even say thank you because the waitress had already left. The food was below average in all areas. The dessert and the cheese balls are the best in my opinion. Normally I like to tip, but after the service I didn't want to, The waiter wasn't happy about it either and showed it. Without saying goodbye, the man in the Adidas jogging suit left. Unfortunately not recommended.

Unbelievable! I've never experienced anything like this! 😡 I am absolutely appalled by the terrible service I experienced in Hokkaido today! Not only did the restaurant close a whopping half an hour earlier than stated online, no, one of the waiters was rude and unpleasant from the start and responded to our requests in a completely unprofessional manner. The height of impudence, however, was that he actually came to our table 10 minutes before closing time, which was way too early, and asked us to finish our meal and leave! 10 minutes! What's that supposed to mean? Are we in a fast food restaurant here? I'm amazed how people can treat guests like this. Half an hour's notice would have been the minimum to end the evening in peace and not be forced to leave like a school child. I can only advise everyone not to visit this restaurant. I have never experienced such impudence! 😡

The food was super good. The sushi tasted fresh and the fried things were also delicious. The reservation planning was an absolute disaster. We had reserved a table for 7 p.m. When we arrived there was a huge queue at the entrance and at 7:39pm we were shown to our table without any apology. From the first order, everything arrived except for all the warm and fried dishes. These all came at once in the third round. In general you waited a long time for food and there was always something missing. But the food was very tasty. You just might want to rethink your capacity and whether you can accommodate this number of guests at the same time. Waiting 40 minutes to be brought to the table is really cheeky!

We love coming to Hokkaido AGAIN! Despite moving and now having to travel 41km, we're coming back here because it's an UNBEATABLE price/performance ratio. The taste of the food corresponds to our complete satisfaction and the selection of dishes is also completely satisfactory! We were 9 people for all you can eat. We were able to order the food on the tablet and were positively surprised by the service. After ordering, the food came very quickly and all nine people were served well. The food was varied and of high quality. The waiters were attentive and accommodating to our requests. The food is delicious and the number of courses is maximally filling. The service is partly covered by a robot that sings birthday songs or simply brings over the food. The waiters work quickly and are friendly. Overall there are five stars. The only potential is the service because unfortunately you can't ask the robot any questions. In general, I simply find people in service more approachable than a machine.

Een grote teleurstelling! Sushi van zeer matige kwaliteit. We moesten erg lang wachten en soms werden er gerechten vergeten door het ongeïnteresseerde personeel. Bij het afrekenen werd mij verteld dat ik niet met een normale bankkaart of creditcard kon betalen. Vervolgens mocht ik eerst een bank opzoeken om cash af te rekenen. Een excuus kon er niet vanaf.

A big disappointment! Sushi of very poor quality. We had to wait a very long time and sometimes dishes were forgotten by the disinterested staff. At checkout I was told that I could not pay with a normal debit or credit card. I was then allowed to visit a bank first to pay in cash. There was no excuse.

Went there for the first time today and were very happy with everything. The price for all you can eat lunch is really cheap. We ate with two adults and two small children (3 & 5), plus drinks and we didn't pay €70 (the younger child didn't pay anything for the meal). The children also had a lot to choose from that they liked and the best thing for them was that the order was made via a tablet and they could see what was then delivered to them by the robot. Only the yakitori skewers were a bit dry and the sweet potato fries were a bit cold and could have used more salt. All the other dishes we had were very good and we will definitely eat there again.

Personal super unfreundlich! Wartezeit für Getränke 30min und fürs Essen dann über eine Stunde gewartet. Es war nicht super voll. Dazu wurde ein Essen komplett vergessen. Besteck bekamen wir für 4 Personen wobei offensichtlich 5 am Tisch saßen… Keine Entschuldigung, kein entgegen kommen, NICHTS! Weiterhin super unfreundlich. Das war definitiv unser letzter Besuch!

I have never experienced such unfriendly staff. Even the robot was friendlier! The waiting time for food was 1 hour and we waited 30 minutes for drinks. The store was definitely NOT too crowded. A dish wasn't even brought to us. There was no apology or compensation, on the contrary no one cared, so nothing was done after another half hour wait… Definitely the last visit!!

I've been here several times and it's always been delicious and fresh. Unfortunately today we got sushi with warm rice, which tasted pretty bad. Kim chi was not fresh, marinated cucumber salad was not fresh. Lots of batter on squid rings and fried tofu. I'm assuming - you have a new chef. He still needs some training. I'll give the restaurant another chance, but it's nice and friendly. I immediately got a stomach ache after eating sushi with warm rice.

Wir waren zu dritt da. Vorallem wegen den lammkoteletts. Wir haben sie 2 mal bestellt und 2 mal waren sie roh. Die garnellen waren total überkocht und ungenießbar. I have mixed opinions about the place. First of all: the quality of the fish is really good and the food and drinks arrived quickly. There are also exceptional sushi rolls that taste very good. However, I have to note that the sushi and all other dishes we ordered were totally greasy. The udon noodles were completely soft and swimming in fat. The salmon avocado makis also had cream cheese in them, which didn't belong there and wasn't described on the tray. I can't eat cream cheese, so unfortunately it was left behind. For each order of the inside out rolls, 4 rolls arrived instead of 2 as described in the tray, which made it difficult to eat everything, also considering that they were hugely cut. The staff was quite friendly, but there is room for improvement.

Enjoy good Japanese food as much as you want. The food is really great. You really get something for your money. The operator also shows passion in many areas. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and stylish, but from the outside it seems inconspicuous. Technology has also arrived with a service robot, although not faster than the really fast service staff, but fun to watch. We are always thrilled and will always come back, and there is always something to experience. Here you don't rest on your laurels, but rather continue to try things out and develop yourself further.

Very tasty and diverse selection of dishes! The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting, there is even a cute service robot. In terms of price, it's also perfectly fine. The toilets are very clean! In general the restaurant is very well maintained. I would definitely come here again. ☺️

Even if the surroundings and the building are a bit intimidating at first, I can fully recommend Hokkaido. Even for someone like me who doesn't like eating fish... :-D Only the prices are quite reasonable (you have to expect around 70 euros for 2 people).

I was here for the first time at the weekend. The way to the restaurant via the elevator seems a bit old. Once you arrive at the restaurant, your initial impressions are immediately forgotten. The restaurant is beautifully designed and the seating is comfortable. Here you sit by yourself and don't have anyone sitting right next to you. The food tastes very good and is served very quickly. The highlight here is the robot cat that brings the food to your seat. The price is okay! I will definitely come back!

We were there for lunch with our seven year old daughter. The system was explained to us using the tablet and both the robot and the service staff were very quick. The food was very tasty and there was a large selection. We felt very comfortable and had fun. We would love to come back ☺️

We were generally satisfied in Hokkaido. The food was fresh and tasty therefore 5* However, the food and drinks come with a robot which is funny once, but is rather annoying in the long run because you have to constantly get up to take the food or drinks yourself. (The robot also has a very intrusive voice) so I really prefer a real waiter. Therefore only 3 * Also 3* for the ambience as the whole restaurant is in need of renovation. The seating is very old and the toilets are no longer nice.

We usually go there for the lunch special, it's cheaper but the selection is smaller, which is ok for the price. However, it is only worth it if you can eat a lot of food. Unfortunately it's not high quality, the sushi is mostly warm and the chicken/duck is very dry. The benches could also be reupholstered. Since there is nothing comparable in the area, you will of course come back. The free parking spaces are also practical.

“All you can eat” for just under 30 is ordered via a tablet. 5 dishes per person, which can be repeated 10 times. The selection is larger in the evenings. The dishes are of a good standard. The service is apathetic. You get your order, but no smile or explanation of what it is. The friendliest employee is the show serving robot. The orders were delivered mixed up, even though you ordered in different rounds. We had dessert, then fish dishes from the previous order were delivered. Too much food was also delivered. The equipment is very old. Seats & upholstery are heavily worn. A door on the toilet cannot be locked and many other little things that seem very careless overall. Conclusion: It was nice, but there are better alternatives

It was the first and last time I visited you. The food was good and tasty, but the service should at least improve. As parents with a stroller, we felt very uncomfortable because we were repeatedly asked whether the stroller was a nuisance and whether we wanted to sit right at the back. Well, the stroller wasn't in the way because we moved a chair. Strangely, there was also a family of Asian origin there whose stroller was right in the way, and they didn't speak to this family. It's a shame this experience means I won't be going there again.

Nach langer Zeit sind wir hier wieder essen gegangen. Wir waren schon einmal hier, was uns nicht besonders gefallen hatte. Jetzt kann ich aber nur gutes schreiben. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Den Salat, den ich bei meiner letzten Bewertung bemängelt habe, war frisch und sehr lecker. Wir kommen jetzt bestimmt wieder.
