Cozy restaurant, great service, great wines and really tasty food.

Great team, great products, if the waiter didn't know something, he immediately found out from the cook and showed up at the table with the recipe. Great service.

Heart, what more do you want? The 3-course menu was great, as was the wine accompaniment and the ambience was perfect anyway.

So glad to have this location within reach! So, there are certainly hipper districts and surroundings in Munich. With more rustic outdoor spaces. What I like about wood: really good, handcrafted food with some unusual components that go beyond the run-of-the-mill. There is the cooling Gazpachio in the hot summer, or the delicious lentil soup as a starter in the cold winter. Even if the restaurant looks a bit unattractive from the outside, the interior is really decorated with loving, extraordinary details. I haven't raved about the staff yet. Sociable, very busy, yet professional and calm. So, if you're in a hurry, it's better to go to a quieter store - the Hoiz requires some patience and time to enjoy!

The food there is excellent, especially the tartare from the snack board is perfect. The service is very friendly and competent, especially when it comes to the wine. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back soon.

We celebrated our Christmas party with 40 people at Hoiz and were completely thrilled! Despite the restaurant being at full capacity, we were treated to the kind of first-class service you could only wish for. The entire team was attentive, friendly and professional, so we didn't lack for anything. The food, our 3-course menu, was super delicious – fresh and perfectly prepared. We were all amazed by the quality of the food. Thanks to the cozy atmosphere, the great service and the excellent food, we had a wonderful evening. Many thanks to the entire team!

The food was really very good and the service was extremely polite and accommodating, unfortunately it was a bit cold at the window and the chairs were a bit hard without cushions. But the food and service are forgivable.

We had another wonderful evening at Neo-Brasserie Hoiz. The food is always varied, the quality is at a high level and a good price. The wines are excellent and the service is very knowledgeable. I can only warmly recommend the restaurant and look forward to more wonderful evenings!

The staff is amazing, we were there at lunchtime today and were given great detailed advice about the lunch menu. The beetroot risotto was delicious and so was the salad before it. It's really cozy there and you just feel good. Thank you very much 🤩

I have been a regular customer for years and was extremely satisfied again yesterday. The winter menu is fun and, as always, the wine advice was at the highest level.

In my humble opinion one of the best restaurants in Munich. Everything is just right here: The atmosphere is cozy, the furnishings are original and stylish with lots of old wooden furniture. The wine list is fantastic and also includes several wines by the glass. The food is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired. My eggplant curry was great. The service is extremely attentive and very warm. I felt extremely comfortable here and didn't want to leave straight away. So I also treated myself to one of the excellent desserts.

Nice ambience, excellent cuisine

I am torn about this place. The food is good (not amazing) and the daily menu is decent value, but the hard wooden chairs and the so-so service are always a disappointment. My colleagues and I go there for lunch occasionally and the last time we were there, one colleague who arrived 5 minutes early and peeped through the open front door, was treated quite disrespectfully by the staff because she was there at 11:55am, just five minutes before opening time. A bit of kindness and a human touch would go a long way. Not somewhere I'd recommend to my friends.

I just love to get back to this very unique place in Munich. For years, they have provided wonderful, creative dishes made to perfection and served by a very friendly and professional crew. And as a side note—which also was positively recognized by my guests yesterday—everyone from the Hoiz Team is smiling and working as a team to please their guests. Highly recommended - and as with most places, reserve your table in advance.

Food was good, the table service OK, but the starters and the main courses came along at the same time, 1h10 minutes after ordering, terrible. Offered a pudding to make up for it. I'm not sure I have had the patience to eait another hour... Oven chips, not so good in an establishment like that.

A completely spontaneous visit, we got a table for two without a reservation. It was very busy and the service was probably a bit understaffed, but we still received friendly service. The food was really great and something different. Everything was well prepared, well seasoned, and the portions were just right. You definitely won't leave the table hungry. We had a Caesar salad as a starter, then 2 x fish as a main course. Even though it wasn't on the menu, we got an excellent lemon and raspberry sorbet. Unfortunately we weren't able to taste the wine that evening, but we'll definitely make up for it.

Honestly? It was okay and only okay because my steak didn't come as ordered. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until late. Some of the meat was okay, but the other was unfortunately too cooked. It felt like it was too late to complain. The Bernaise sauce could have been “more numerous”. But it was a nice evening in a nice atmosphere and very nice service.

We ended our summer party with our law firm in the Hoiz in the evening. From the reservation to the end of our party was simply great. The food, wine, service and environment were just great. Everyone felt comfortable and cared for from start to finish. Our thanks go to the entire team. Clear recommendation for another visit!

The food was really very good. The truffle in the pasta has an intense aroma and the meat is tender and to the point. The staff was also very courteous and the advice was very good.

Finally a restaurant where everything is right. Quality, price and great service go hand in hand here.

An exceptionally strong wine list that shows real understanding and doesn't just boil down to "expensive = good". Individual wineries, sense of vintages! My reference dishes: Beef tartare & bouillabaise Both tasted excellent, quality and processing of the products, portion size. Really. I've already tried a lot of it.. ;) A vegetarian main course was delicious, but in my opinion not worth the price. Would have been good as a starter or side dish. Service: very consistent, experienced and attentive without being intrusive - as you would wish. The fact that the main course came quite quickly led to an active apology that it had already been ordered by mistake - I think it's great. Completely cared for and advised, yet unpretentious. Ambience: beautiful, lively, easy going. Certainly not a place for an intimate date or serious conversations (private or business). Unfortunately a bit too loud for that (in the evening). Great for a group of friends or a team event because the atmosphere is very relaxed. I would recommend it for 4 people and larger groups. The most beautiful shop in Munich to go on a date, just hang out with friends or even just enjoy a glass of wine. The service anticipates your every wish, the food is excellent and the wine accompaniment/advice couldn't be better.

I love this hidden gem in Munich and come here quite often for both lunch and dinner. Meat quality is great (my all-time favs are tartar and filet Mignon), Flammkuchen is also delicious. Love the seasonal offers as well. Service is a bit slow and last night most of the dishes arrived cold, which was not very pleasant for a company of 5.

The food tasted very good, the service worked well despite a lot of customer pressure, the waiter was friendly and knew how to convey the workload in a positive way. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice atmosphere, sleekly modern. Steak was good, but a bit too fatty for an entrecote. Desserts were all quite yummy. Everything was nicely presented, and service was quick and helpful, if a bit brusque. It was a bit too pricey, but still a nice night out.

I haven't eaten so badly in a very long time. Bouillabaise was full of boring salmon and unfortunately had nothing to do with the French original, and you couldn't eat it properly because the pieces of fish were 10 square centimeters in size. The rock-hard fennel it contains is also strange. Boring menu dominated by steak and fries. Wine and ambience were ok, service was very lengthy, we waited over an hour for the food.

Lunch menu OK, otherwise sometimes too expensive compared to the quality offered. Staff very pleasant and friendly…

Very tasty beef tartare. I would come back for this one. However, service is completely understaffed. It took 3 hours for two courses on a Saturday evening for two people. The excuse was that two employees were absent that evening. We then sent an email to the restaurant. Unfortunately no response was received. A pity!

Nice ambience. Food was good, but for the price (relatively) you could have expected more.

The steak frites are excellent, daily specials are different, the atmosphere is great and the service is generally very friendly, although delayed at the beginning and not very attentive at the end. This may basically be due to the lack of staff. For me, hoiz remains a restaurant for nice times, although not every day because it is quite expensive.

What a beautiful evening! The shop is magical and designed with great attention to detail in both the ambience and service! Really a very nice experience... The food was also fantastic, especially the bouillabaisse as the dish of the day - to die for!! I was only a little disappointed with the starter because the salad with pumpkin was very nice, but the pumpkin itself was used far too sparingly and unfortunately had hardly any pumpkin taste. Actually, there should only be a half or quarter star deduction for this... Otherwise I'll be deeply in love and would love to come back!

Tolles Lokal mit leckerem Essen und freundlicher Bedienung.

Leckeres Essen. Nette Bedienung. Ambiente etwas kühl und laut.

Wir waren zum Lunch im Hoiz. Das Essen war super lecker, und auch ganz schön pricy. Das kleine Tartar 19€. Der Beilagensalat 8,50€. Der Service war nett, leider jedoch auch gehetzt, heute wohl unterbesetzt. Entsprechend haben wir länger gewartet, auf die Karte und auch die Zahlung. Das Essen kam schnell. Die Atmosphäre ist super und der Laden war selbst mittags sehr gut besucht.

Mein Lieblinsgrestaurant in München. Der einzigartige Einrichtungsstil, der tolle und nette Service und das Essen - es passt einfach alles. Die Preise sind etwas gehoben aber die Gerichte werden ihnen mehr als gerecht. Fast jedes Essen stellte eine neue Geschmackskombination dar die ich davor noch nicht kannte und war wirklich eine Überraschung. Zudem wird man hier für sein Geld auch satt, was bei vielen anderen hochpreisigeren Restaurants nicht unbedingt der Fall ist. Man merkt das hier ein paar junge, talentierte Menschen sehr viel Lust haben und es macht einfach nur Spaß hier Essen zu gehen.

Lecker Essen, toller Wein, guter Service - nur die Lautstärke war sehr wahrscheinlich wegen vielen Weihnachtsfeiern ein bisschen zu laut.

Schönes Ambiente, das Essen war insgesamt sehr gut, kleine Karte und einige Tagesempfehlungen. Lob an die Küche, die sich auch bei einfachen Sachen kreativ zeigt, aber auch die anspruchsvollen Gerichte top zubereitet. Ein Stern Abzug für die etwas zu salzigen Fries, dafür aber zwei zusätzliche Sterne, weil auf diese beiläufig geäußerte Kritik sehr souverän reagiert wurde. Kompliment und ein Dankeschön an die beiden Damen, die insgesamt sehr freundlich, unaufgeregt und souverän agieren.

Küche top ... wenn es voll ist dann ist es leider ziemlich laut

Waitstaff really understand the food and wine. I now know how German chardonnay differs from French chardonnay, and why the steak (entrecote) is best ordered "Medium".

The place has a great selection of wines and great food. The person that runs it and is the sommelier is a great host. Awesome recommendations, very relaxed and fun.

Das beste Tartar der Stadt! Und auch das Rinderfilet ist der Wahnsinn! Unser Büro ist direkt nebenan und daher sind wir oft zum Lunch im Hoiz. Im Sommer sitzt man schön draußen und die Tagespasta ist immer ein Hit :-)

Meine Empfehlung: Tolles Ambiente, sehr gute Küche, hohes Niveau, aber kein bißchen abgehoben. Hier kann man sehr gut und in mehr als nur angenehmer Atmosphäre speisen!

Was für ein unfassbar guter Laden. Der Service sucht seines gleichen, über den gesamten Abend eine perfekte Betreuung. Ich bin selber nicht der größte Wein-Fan, aber was da zu jedem Gang passendes auf den Tisch kommt ist einfach nur perfekt und wahnsinnig geschmackvoll. Das Steak Fries war ein Gedicht, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Danke an das gesamte Team. 🙏🏻

Selten so fein und gut gegessen - die Speisen waren schön angerichtet und geschmacklich sehr gut abgestimmt. Der Service war 1a und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch das Ambiente ist sehr ansprechend und die Weinkarte groß, wir wurden gut beraten. Ein Lokal, das was kann und trotzdem nicht arrogant oder abgehoben erscheint - so muss das sein! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderbare Interpretation einer französischen Brasserie. Tolles Interieur, schöner Außenbereich. Sehr gute Wein-/Cremantkarte. Hier wird jeder Happy: sowohl kreative vegetarische Gerichte als auch französische Bistroklassiker a la Steak frites. Sehr netter, unaufdringlicher Service. Reservieren (abends) empfohlen.

We tried several starters and then several meat cuts and everything was excellent. The wine recommendation was also very good. Service same as the food, always asking if everything was good and paying attention. Highly recommended for meat in Munich.
