Hoiz Neo-Brasserie in München

Wir waren begeistert von der Atmosphäre – eine gelungene Mischung aus modern und rustikal, mit Wildschwein- und Hirschköpfen an den Wänden und Kronleuchtern von der Decke. Skurrile Details wie das zusammengewürfelte Geschirr, Bücher als Speisekarten und Klemmbretter mit der Getränkekarte trugen zum Charme bei. Die Sitzgelegenheiten waren charmant, aber für größere Gäste nicht unbedingt bequem. Unsere Bedienung war exzellent, effizient und freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Speisekarte ist interessant und bietet sowohl unglaublich leckeres Rindersteak Frites, serviert auf Holzbrettern, als auch asiatisch inspirierte Fischgerichte. Der gegrillte Caesar Salad war schmackhaft, aber etwas zu stark angemacht. Die Auswahl an Weinen im Glas ist zwar klein, aber fein. Es gibt auch einige Cocktails auf der Karte. Unser einziger Kritikpunkt war die Wärme beim Essen. Wir hätten uns einen Platz am Fenster oder etwas frische Luft gewünscht. Dadurch mussten wir unser Essen etwas schneller beenden. Leider erlaubte das Wetter kein Essen im Freien, sonst hätten wir uns dafür entschieden. Alles in allem war es ein kulinarisches Erlebnis, das wir aufgrund der Qualität des Essens und des Services gerne wiederholen würden.

Es ist immer fantastisch im Hoiz! Ein netter unaufdringlicher Service mit tollen Tagesempfehlungen gepaart mit einer exzellenten Weinkarte. 12/10!

Total gemütlich, egal ob drinnen oder draußen. Angenehmes Personal, nicht zu übertrieben freundlich. Der Koch ist einfach genial.

Die Wartezeit auf das Essen war unglaublich lang. Es kam uns vor, als würden wir in einem Teich nach einer Ente fischen... Ich war schon zweimal dort, und beide Male haben wir über eine Stunde auf die Hauptgerichte gewartet.

Die Atmosphäre und das Essen waren wunderbar. Unsere Bedienung war die netteste, die wir während unseres zweiwöchigen Deutschlandaufenthalts hatten – aufmerksam, freundlich und unterhaltsam. Ein echter Geheimtipp.

Wir waren 5 Personen und alle bestellten Gerichten waren qualitätsmäßig hervorragend. Mit dem Service waren wir sich sehr zufrieden.

Ausgezeichnet! Die Location, die Einrichtung, das Ambiente. Alles super angenehm. Dazu noch der sehr professionelle und trotzdem super nette und bodenständige Service und das herausragende Essen! Einfach ein Traum! Ich hatte vom Tagesmenü einen gebeizten spicy Lachs mit Nori Blatt, Wasabi, Crispy Reis und einer richtig leckeren Sauce. Das war ohne zu übertreiben die beste Vorspeise, die ich je hatte. Als Hauptgang haben sowohl das Rinderfilet, die Ente, das Thunfischsteak als auch der geröstete Lauch richtig überzeugt. Und auch die Nachspeisen waren ein Gedicht. Komme definitiv wieder!

"Wunder"-voll! Wir waren zu siebent zum Essen. Wir allesamt fanden, es schmeckte hervorragend. Aber schon zuvor war es uns eine Freude, die Speisekarte zu lesen - umfassend literarisch gebildet findet, glaube ich, am Ende jeder ein Gericht, das ihm schmecken könnte und, ich meine, wird. Der Service war hervorragend und die Menschen, die uns bewirtet haben, waren lustig, freundlich, offen. Ich möchte dort wieder hin!

Das Essen (Gulasch und Rinderfilet) war sehr gut, der Service kompetent bei der Weinauswahl und sehr freundlich!

Seit Jahren nun gehe ich immer wieder gerne ins Hoiz, die über das Jahr hinweg wechselnde Karte sowie die gut sortierte Weinauswahl sind immer ein Highlight.

Super Lokal. Tolles Ambiente, klasse Service und hervorragendes Essen. Ich mochte nie Rote Beete, jetzt schon - und wir freuen uns bereits aufs nächste Mal!

As a restaurant, it's very good, including the food (a few years ago I enjoyed the best onion roast beef of my life there), but in my opinion, it's not so suitable for a company event for 50+ people. Therefore, only 4 stars.

A truly unique, upscale restaurant – highly recommended. For anyone still undecided, the "Fake Pumpkin" is probably the best dessert you'll ever eat!

Nice restaurant, very attentive service. The steak frites were delicious. However, when you order a "small piece of still water" with your expensive alcoholic drink, you're served a liter of tap water (filtered, if you like), which costs €7.50. On a total bill of over €60. A bit ridiculous. In France, something like that would even be free. But okay, welcome to Germany.

Beautiful ambiance, very friendly welcome, and attentive service. We were a group of 20 (reservations are essential) and opted for a four-course menu, which was excellent. Each course offered a choice of three dishes. Highly recommended, both for a business dinner in a relaxed atmosphere and for private occasions. It would certainly be appealing in the summer as well, given the large terrace.

Excellent food, and very good advice on wine pairing. Unfortunately, the restaurant is quite noisy.

I actually used to enjoy coming here, but lately, it's become a bit inconsistent. For example, the lunch menu used to be a bit more imaginative, but now you tend to order from the standard menu. The service is always attentive, but sometimes friendly, sometimes very unmotivated. The interior is very rustic, with wooden tables, creating a cozy ambiance where you immediately feel at home. The cuisine, or rather the menu, hasn't changed much, but the tartar is at least still recommended.

Simply a dream. From the food to the wines and the service. You feel right at home there. The best tartar in all of Munich and the surrounding area.

There were four of us last night. No steak was cooked to the desired degree. My steak was supposed to be well done, but mine was mostly medium, and I only ate a small portion. When I finally gave the server back the 3/4 steak, I told him. He simply replied, "I'll tell the chef." Unfortunately, there was no further response after that: no apology, no discount, nothing. For the prices they charge, it's an absolute disgrace. I would give it 0 stars.

We had one filet mignon and one risotto from the lunch menu. The small brasserie filled up quickly. Our waitress was super friendly and the food was excellent. We'd be happy to go back :)

A truly wonderful discovery. We sat on a completely packed terrace that evening. The service was excellent. Despite the large number of guests and the stress, the staff was friendly, very attentive, and engaging. We received great wine recommendations and were able to taste various wines and then decide which one we wanted to drink. We felt very comfortable there. The food was also truly fantastic. We had a fantastic beef carpaccio from the daily specials and a beef tartare. Both were highly recommended. Our main courses were also very good :) We'll be back.

Last week was our third evening at Hoiz. The first two times, the food was very good and the service was excellent. Last week, surprisingly, the restaurant was completely empty in the evening. And slowly, our first impressions took shape. The beef fillet was tough and very marbled. For €40, the quality was very questionable. The service was initially acceptable, but it quickly became apparent that the restaurant was under pressure to sell, which was evident at our table every 15 minutes. We would have liked to stay longer, but the service did everything it could to ensure that we left early.

A very nice location with extremely friendly servers. At lunchtime, the food from the daily specials arrived quickly and tasted delicious.

I happened to pass by this restaurant in Munich. I saw a lot of good reviews on Google, and they were all good reviews from locals. I was hungry, so I stopped to eat. What a surprise 💗 👍Negroni lovers can order a cup. This store has changed it to a bubble texture, which neutralizes the bitterness of the high alcohol concentration of Negroni and adds a summer atmosphere 👍Beef tartare The meat is rich, and the yogurt on top makes the whole taste more dense. The surprise is that there is a faint smell of wasabi and miso in it. Although I don’t eat wasabi, I don’t find it disgusting, but I feel the taste more deeply. The salt and chili powder on the side make the taste even better 👍Chocolate tart Because it was not specified to be served after the meal, the dessert came first in the middle. The very rich chocolate tart is served with blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries, and even popping candies and candied haws candies are put on it! Overall colorful, recommended by chocolate lovers 👍Truffle pasta The store only sells this kind of pasta, and the truffle aroma is full when it is served But you need to pay attention that the pasta itself has no ingredients and it is quite large. It is recommended to share it with many people so that it is not greasy. I think it is not salty enough and I add salt myself. The taste is still very good 👍Service The waiter gave us free tap water even though we didn’t order water (many stores in Europe require water and can only order it@@). The free bread is delicious. An unforgettable evening! Snagging a spot spontaneously and without a reservation – what luck! The ceviche was simply incredible, like something from another planet. Add to that an excellent bottle of wine, perfectly selected, and the evening was saved. Ero and his team are simply amazing – charming, competent, and genuinely passionate about their work. Ero himself holds the reins of the 1,000 wines with impressive aplomb and always hits the mark. An experience of the highest caliber – we'll definitely be back!

This was our first, but certainly not our last, visit to Hoiz. The food was excellent, the wine recommendation was perfect, and the service very attentive! And when – as here – the atmosphere (and the company) are just right, what more could you want? A wonderful evening!

went there for my husband birthday,they completely ruined our evening with the service-we waited for food 40min, food was ok by the way but waiter’s completely ignored our table. I think it was the worst experience in past years. What to say..

There were three of us and we had the rib eye steak, the daily recommendation of duck and the beef fillet. The duck and beef fillet were really great. Unfortunately, my rib eye steak wasn't that good. 1/4 of the steak was inedible due to the tendons. And it was so tough that I couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. Which is a shame because I like it rare, and it was rare. My mum had it well done even though we ordered it medium, but because the meat was so tender, it was still good. And besides, the terrace was full that day. They usually have good service.

I cannot recommend it. I ordered the beef. It was bloody when i asked well done. I was not charged, but a 2h wait for a menu which is not edible is not something i can recommend.

No tourist dinners here. Come for fresh, excellent, relevant cuisine with great service and fun atmosphere. PS Daniel is a friendly, efficient bartender. Cheers!

The food is truly excellent and offers good value for money, but when the food falls into the stroller during serving and the service staff doesn't react, the mood is unfortunately subdued. Now I have to figure out how to get the grease stains off the stroller and the sheepskin. It's a shame, because it could have been so nice.

She was impressed and delighted by all the culinary arts. The restaurant has a blend of rustic yet modern charm. The service team is fun, warm, incredibly friendly, and always attentive – simply professionals at work. The kitchen team also delivered like masters... whether it was a vegetarian or a meat dish, they were spot on. Highly recommended and a sure-fire stop for any future visits to Munich.

Very nice atmosphere, but unfortunately the food (except for the dessert) wasn't particularly good. The waitress was inattentive and somewhat rude.

Very cozy yet stylish shop. After just a few minutes you feel like you are in a kind of “second home”. Casual and yet very high in quality and service. Tartare amazing! Chocolate salted caramel tart is highly recommended. Definitely a nut schnapps with it :-)

Very cozy, relaxed atmosphere - a good bar selection, and a great menu. Actually, not just a great menu, a *smart* one. So many restaurants go bonkers with a gazillion choices - Hoiz holds the count down, and what they put on the menu, they do *well*. It's expensive, but when you're done it will be worthwhile.

Consistently great restaurant for years. The tartare and steak are very good, and there is also a successful menu of selected dishes. The team has been warm, courteous and very well trained on every visit over the past few years. The atmosphere is elegant, intimate and at the same time cozy, which may not seem like it from the outside.

Heart, what more do you want? The 3-course menu was great, as was the wine accompaniment and the ambience was perfect anyway.

So glad to have this location within reach! So, there are certainly hipper districts and surroundings in Munich. With more rustic outdoor spaces. What I like about wood: really good, handcrafted food with some unusual components that go beyond the run-of-the-mill. There is the cooling Gazpachio in the hot summer, or the delicious lentil soup as a starter in the cold winter. Even if the restaurant looks a bit unattractive from the outside, the interior is really decorated with loving, extraordinary details. I haven't raved about the staff yet. Sociable, very busy, yet professional and calm. So, if you're in a hurry, it's better to go to a quieter store - the Hoiz requires some patience and time to enjoy!

The food there is excellent, especially the tartare from the snack board is perfect. The service is very friendly and competent, especially when it comes to the wine. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back soon.

We celebrated our Christmas party with 40 people at Hoiz and were completely thrilled! Despite the restaurant being at full capacity, we were treated to the kind of first-class service you could only wish for. The entire team was attentive, friendly and professional, so we didn't lack for anything. The food, our 3-course menu, was super delicious – fresh and perfectly prepared. We were all amazed by the quality of the food. Thanks to the cozy atmosphere, the great service and the excellent food, we had a wonderful evening. Many thanks to the entire team!
