Great restaurant, delicious, fresh. The service was also very good. I would go back anytime.

Last week was our third evening at Hoiz. The first two times, the food was very good and the service was excellent. Last week, surprisingly, the restaurant was completely empty in the evening. And slowly, our first impressions took shape. The beef fillet was tough and very marbled. For €40, the quality was very questionable. The service was initially acceptable, but it quickly became apparent that the restaurant was under pressure to sell, which was evident at our table every 15 minutes. We would have liked to stay longer, but the service did everything it could to ensure that we left early.

A very nice location with extremely friendly servers. At lunchtime, the food from the daily specials arrived quickly and tasted delicious.

My boyfriend and I felt very comfortable here. The food was delicious, and the service was relaxed but professional and extremely friendly. Overall, it was a very pleasant evening for us. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Munich.

As always, your food is delicious! The food, as always, has that certain something, and the wines are simply amazing. The service could still be improved; it used to be more competent. My colleague tried very hard, but I know it's not easy to find new staff. A 100% recommendation for the relaxed, friendly atmosphere!

I happened to pass by this restaurant in Munich. I saw a lot of good reviews on Google, and they were all good reviews from locals. I was hungry, so I stopped to eat. What a surprise 💗 👍Negroni lovers can order a cup. This store has changed it to a bubble texture, which neutralizes the bitterness of the high alcohol concentration of Negroni and adds a summer atmosphere 👍Beef tartare The meat is rich, and the yogurt on top makes the whole taste more dense. The surprise is that there is a faint smell of wasabi and miso in it. Although I don’t eat wasabi, I don’t find it disgusting, but I feel the taste more deeply. The salt and chili powder on the side make the taste even better 👍Chocolate tart Because it was not specified to be served after the meal, the dessert came first in the middle. The very rich chocolate tart is served with blackberries, blueberries, and strawberries, and even popping candies and candied haws candies are put on it! Overall colorful, recommended by chocolate lovers 👍Truffle pasta The store only sells this kind of pasta, and the truffle aroma is full when it is served But you need to pay attention that the pasta itself has no ingredients and it is quite large. It is recommended to share it with many people so that it is not greasy. I think it is not salty enough and I add salt myself. The taste is still very good 👍Service The waiter gave us free tap water even though we didn’t order water (many stores in Europe require water and can only order it@@). The free bread is delicious. We finished it quickly and the waiter gave me another refill It is a restaurant worth a special visit!

An unforgettable evening! Snagging a spot spontaneously and without a reservation – what luck! The ceviche was simply incredible, like something from another planet. Add to that an excellent bottle of wine, perfectly selected, and the evening was saved. Ero and his team are simply amazing – charming, competent, and genuinely passionate about their work. Ero himself holds the reins of the 1,000 wines with impressive aplomb and always hits the mark. An experience of the highest caliber – we'll definitely be back!

This was our first, but certainly not our last, visit to Hoiz. The food was excellent, the wine recommendation was perfect, and the service very attentive! And when – as here – the atmosphere (and the company) are just right, what more could you want? A wonderful evening!

went there for my husband birthday,they completely ruined our evening with the service-we waited for food 40min, food was ok by the way but waiter’s completely ignored our table. I think it was the worst experience in past years. What to say..

There were three of us and we had the rib eye steak, the daily recommendation of duck and the beef fillet. The duck and beef fillet were really great. Unfortunately, my rib eye steak wasn't that good. 1/4 of the steak was inedible due to the tendons. And it was so tough that I couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. Which is a shame because I like it rare, and it was rare. My mum had it well done even though we ordered it medium, but because the meat was so tender, it was still good. And besides, the terrace was full that day. They usually have good service.

I cannot recommend it. I ordered the beef. It was bloody when i asked well done. I was not charged, but a 2h wait for a menu which is not edible is not something i can recommend.

No tourist dinners here. Come for fresh, excellent, relevant cuisine with great service and fun atmosphere. PS Daniel is a friendly, efficient bartender. Cheers!

The food is truly excellent and offers good value for money, but when the food falls into the stroller during serving and the service staff doesn't react, the mood is unfortunately subdued. Now I have to figure out how to get the grease stains off the stroller and the sheepskin. It's a shame, because it could have been so nice.

She was impressed and delighted by all the culinary arts. The restaurant has a blend of rustic yet modern charm. The service team is fun, warm, incredibly friendly, and always attentive – simply professionals at work. The kitchen team also delivered like masters... whether it was a vegetarian or a meat dish, they were spot on. Highly recommended and a sure-fire stop for any future visits to Munich.

Very nice atmosphere, but unfortunately the food (except for the dessert) wasn't particularly good. The waitress was inattentive and somewhat rude.

Very cozy yet stylish shop. After just a few minutes you feel like you are in a kind of “second home”. Casual and yet very high in quality and service. Tartare amazing! Chocolate salted caramel tart is highly recommended. Definitely a nut schnapps with it :-)

Very cozy, relaxed atmosphere - a good bar selection, and a great menu. Actually, not just a great menu, a *smart* one. So many restaurants go bonkers with a gazillion choices - Hoiz holds the count down, and what they put on the menu, they do *well*. It's expensive, but when you're done it will be worthwhile.

Consistently great restaurant for years. The tartare and steak are very good, and there is also a successful menu of selected dishes. The team has been warm, courteous and very well trained on every visit over the past few years. The atmosphere is elegant, intimate and at the same time cozy, which may not seem like it from the outside.

Heart, what more do you want? The 3-course menu was great, as was the wine accompaniment and the ambience was perfect anyway.

So glad to have this location within reach! So, there are certainly hipper districts and surroundings in Munich. With more rustic outdoor spaces. What I like about wood: really good, handcrafted food with some unusual components that go beyond the run-of-the-mill. There is the cooling Gazpachio in the hot summer, or the delicious lentil soup as a starter in the cold winter. Even if the restaurant looks a bit unattractive from the outside, the interior is really decorated with loving, extraordinary details. I haven't raved about the staff yet. Sociable, very busy, yet professional and calm. So, if you're in a hurry, it's better to go to a quieter store - the Hoiz requires some patience and time to enjoy!

The food there is excellent, especially the tartare from the snack board is perfect. The service is very friendly and competent, especially when it comes to the wine. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back soon.

Despite the restaurant being at full capacity, we were treated to the kind of first-class service you could only wish for. The entire team was attentive, friendly and professional, so we didn't lack for anything. The food, our 3-course menu, was super delicious – fresh and perfectly prepared. We were all amazed by the quality of the food. Thanks to the cozy atmosphere, the great service and the excellent food, we had a wonderful evening. Many thanks to the entire team!

The food was really very good and the service was extremely polite and accommodating, unfortunately it was a bit cold at the window and the chairs were a bit hard without cushions. But the food and service are forgivable.

We had another wonderful evening at Neo-Brasserie Hoiz. The food is always varied, the quality is at a high level and a good price. The wines are excellent and the service is very knowledgeable. I can only warmly recommend the restaurant and look forward to more wonderful evenings!

The staff is amazing, we were there at lunchtime today and were given great detailed advice about the lunch menu. The beetroot risotto was delicious and so was the salad before it. It's really cozy there and you just feel good. Thank you very much 🤩

I have been a regular customer for years and was extremely satisfied again yesterday. The winter menu is fun and, as always, the wine advice was at the highest level.

In my humble opinion one of the best restaurants in Munich. Everything is just right here: The atmosphere is cozy, the furnishings are original and stylish with lots of old wooden furniture. The wine list is fantastic and also includes several wines by the glass. The food is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired. My eggplant curry was great. The service is extremely attentive and very warm. I felt extremely comfortable here and didn't want to leave straight away. So I also treated myself to one of the excellent desserts.

Nice ambience, excellent cuisine

I am torn about this place. The food is good (not amazing) and the daily menu is decent value, but the hard wooden chairs and the so-so service are always a disappointment. My colleagues and I go there for lunch occasionally and the last time we were there, one colleague who arrived 5 minutes early and peeped through the open front door, was treated quite disrespectfully by the staff because she was there at 11:55am, just five minutes before opening time. A bit of kindness and a human touch would go a long way. Not somewhere I'd recommend to my friends.

I just love to get back to this very unique place in Munich. For years, they have provided wonderful, creative dishes made to perfection and served by a very friendly and professional crew. And as a side note—which also was positively recognized by my guests yesterday—everyone from the Hoiz Team is smiling and working as a team to please their guests. Highly recommended - and as with most places, reserve your table in advance.

Food was good, the table service OK, but the starters and the main courses came along at the same time, 1h10 minutes after ordering, terrible. Offered a pudding to make up for it. I'm not sure I have had the patience to eait another hour... Oven chips, not so good in an establishment like that.

A completely spontaneous visit, we got a table for two without a reservation. It was very busy and the service was probably a bit understaffed, but we still received friendly service. The food was really great and something different. Everything was well prepared, well seasoned, and the portions were just right. You definitely won't leave the table hungry. We had a Caesar salad as a starter, then 2 x fish as a main course. Even though it wasn't on the menu, we got an excellent lemon and raspberry sorbet. Unfortunately we weren't able to taste the wine that evening, but we'll definitely make up for it.

Honestly? It was okay and only okay because my steak didn't come as ordered. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until late. Some of the meat was okay, but the other was unfortunately too cooked. It felt like it was too late to complain. The Bernaise sauce could have been “more numerous”. But it was a nice evening in a nice atmosphere and very nice service.

We ended our summer party with our law firm in the Hoiz in the evening. From the reservation to the end of our party was simply great. The food, wine, service and environment were just great. Everyone felt comfortable and cared for from start to finish. Our thanks go to the entire team. Clear recommendation for another visit!

The food was really very good. The truffle in the pasta has an intense aroma and the meat is tender and to the point. The staff was also very courteous and the advice was very good.

An exceptionally strong wine list that shows real understanding and doesn't just boil down to "expensive = good". Individual wineries, sense of vintages! My reference dishes: Beef tartare & bouillabaise Both tasted excellent, quality and processing of the products, portion size. Really. I've already tried a lot of it.. ;) A vegetarian main course was delicious, but in my opinion not worth the price. Would have been good as a starter or side dish. Service: very consistent, experienced and attentive without being intrusive - as you would wish. The fact that the main course came quite quickly led to an active apology that it had already been ordered by mistake - I think it's great. Completely cared for and advised, yet unpretentious. Ambience: beautiful, lively, easy going. Certainly not a place for an intimate date or serious conversations (private or business). Unfortunately a bit too loud for that (in the evening). Great for a group of friends or a team event because the atmosphere is very relaxed. I would recommend it for 4 people and larger groups. The most beautiful shop in Munich to go on a date, just hang out with friends or even just enjoy a glass of wine. The service anticipates your every wish, the food is excellent and the wine accompaniment/advice couldn't be better.

I love this hidden gem in Munich and come here quite often for both lunch and dinner. Meat quality is great (my all-time favs are tartar and filet Mignon), Flammkuchen is also delicious. Love the seasonal offers as well. Service is a bit slow and last night most of the dishes arrived cold, which was not very pleasant for a company of 5.

Nice atmosphere, sleekly modern. Steak was good, but a bit too fatty for an entrecote. Desserts were all quite yummy. Everything was nicely presented, and service was quick and helpful, if a bit brusque. It was a bit too pricey, but still a nice night out.

The food tasted very good, the service worked well despite a lot of customer pressure, the waiter was friendly and knew how to convey the workload in a positive way. Definitely worth a visit.

I haven't eaten so badly in a very long time. Bouillabaise was full of boring salmon and unfortunately had nothing to do with the French original, and you couldn't eat it properly because the pieces of fish were 10 square centimeters in size. The rock-hard fennel it contains is also strange. Boring menu dominated by steak and fries. Wine and ambience were ok, service was very lengthy, we waited over an hour for the food.

Lunch menu OK, otherwise sometimes too expensive compared to the quality offered. Staff very pleasant and friendly…
