The food fully met our expectations, we'd gladly return! Our only complaint was the service, which we found a bit too cold and distant. A little more warmth would have been appreciated.

Lovely restaurant by the looks. However, a dreadful experience. The artichoke was hard, and raw. The soup was excessively salty and nothing close to a French onion soup. The service was sloppy: if you want to clutter the table with stuff, be my guest but then don’t push the dishes on the table to make room for them. The waiter was disappointing, over the course of the meal as he noticed my lack of excitement and of ordering expensive food, treated us colder and colder, peaking with the end that did not even bother to give us our coats that he so pompously collected upon entering the restaurant, and just shouted goodbye when we were at the door. A disappointing 160€ meal you did not deserve to earn from me.

A culinary highlight with heart and soul! We wanted to celebrate a special occasion with an exquisite meal in a stylish atmosphere. And we truly succeeded at Brasserie Colette TIM RAUE! From the very first moment, the service was incredibly warm, attentive, courteous, and professional. We opted for a five-course menu with wine pairings. The food was outstanding, impressing with its quality and sophistication. Each course was described in detail, and the perfectly matched wines were served with great expertise. The brasserie is on the pricier side, but the value for money is absolutely excellent. Here, you're not just paying for the food, but for a truly wonderful experience! Highly recommended.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and the food is excellent. The service lacks expertise at times – for example, they weren't entirely sure how to eat or serve certain dishes.

Have been coming for years and this place always delivers with remarkable consistency. Great combination of craftsmanship and innovation - Brasserie comfort food but with excellent execution and always with a twist to make it special.

Food is excellent . Service is perfect . Very good wine list . The chef revisited or reinvented traditional French recipes like Soupe à l’oignon or Boeuf Bourguignon : so don’t be surprised as it will be different to the original recipes .

A stylish restaurant with great service and a cozy atmosphere. The lighting is dimmed, the volume is pleasantly low, and you can have a quiet conversation, just as you would want for a special evening. The service was outstanding: attentive, warm, with good recommendations and detailed explanations of the dishes. A truly huge compliment at this point. The dishes were very well-crafted, but the overall composition of the evening seemed a bit too sweet for me. Both the onion soup and the beef bourguignon, and according to my wife, the pike-perch as well, had a distinctly sweet note. This is certainly a matter of style, but it didn't quite suit my personal taste. With a name like "Tim Raue," which automatically raises high expectations, I would have preferred a bit more balance and depth in terms of flavor. We were very pleased that they even provided free drinks for my wife's birthday – a generous and heartfelt gesture. It would have been even nicer if they had asked in advance whether they could perhaps round off the occasion with a little something at the table. It's a fine touch, but especially at this price point, something like that makes a big difference. The only real criticism outside of the kitchen: The restrooms don't match the overall high-quality impression and could be modernized. Overall, we had a lovely evening with very good service, a great ambiance, and good food, although the taste didn't quite reach the level I expected. A solid 4 stars, and yes, we would come back.

The food was solid. What I've never experienced before is the waiter visibly pouring bottles of wine together behind the bar. I actually saw it happen twice – so it seems to be pretty common practice... 20 minutes before the official closing time, you're asked how you'd like to pay. No introduction, no friendly reminder, no last round, nothing.

Wonderful restaurant. I can recommend it to everyone. For two people, the price is around €200, including tips.

A casual, unpretentious restaurant for couples, families, and groups of friends for a cozy, enjoyable evening. Fantastic dishes designed by Tim Raue. The Filet Wellington and Bouillabaisse are highly recommended. The service is exceptionally good – there were eight of us (ages 4 to 86!), and everyone was served attentively. Warning: this isn't a bargain! But it's better to forgo mediocrity and run-of-the-mill food three times and instead enjoy the Brasserie Colette.

Very good food and service. And the best part was the atmosphere. This is such a wonderful and elegant place, with lots of attention to detail. The octopus was delicious and so were the cocktails. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Excellent menu, attentive service, very pleasant ambience

We visited the brasserie about two weeks ago. The food was very good, but there were few to no alternatives for non-alcoholic drinks. For a restaurant of this standard, I would have liked to see one or two non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu. All in all, though, it was a pleasant experience.

Brasserie Tim Raue combines precise, down-to-earth cuisine with a relaxed, lively atmosphere. The service is attentive, knowledgeable, and yet pleasantly unpretentious. The wine list features surprising discoveries such as the Clos Marie Pic Saint Loup "L'Olivette" 2022 – full of character, fresh, and a perfect accompaniment to a meal. A place where cuisine, wine, and hospitality are at their best.

The restaurant is top-notch. The food is excellent, and the staff are friendly and easygoing. What more could you want?

We ate rinderfiler and it was exception just like the creme brulee and tarte auxframboises

As always, a very enjoyable evening with an excellent Oktoberfest menu. We look forward to our next visit.

One of my favorite places for something special.

We visited Brasserie Colette for the third time yesterday, and it was fantastic again. The food is top-notch, as is the service. I'd like to emphasize that we chose the wine pairing for our menu and were able to taste all four wines beforehand (a "sip of wine"). We really appreciated this service. We also like the professional yet relaxed atmosphere of this restaurant.

I ordered the gastronomic menu for €115 plus oysters. Everything was very good, but the prawns were spectacular. The oysters were very small. The service was decent, but at that price, I wish there were more waiters so I wouldn't have to wait three minutes to order something. At a different price, it would be normal to wait even longer...

Food: Great! Especially seemingly simple dishes like lamb's lettuce or wild garlic soup are skillfully prepared and presented. The desserts were also top-notch. Ambience: Good. But it doesn't blow me away. Especially when you learn that the other restaurants are supposed to be decorated the same way, you're even less impressed. Considering the prices, it shouldn't be any worse. Service: Extremely bad! With two guests, you have to repeatedly ask who gets which dish. A change to the order is forgotten. The waiter doesn't know what ingredients are in the tartar and even finds it funny. Simple etiquette rules are constantly ignored. Not all guests are treated equally. The list of blunders goes on. It's amazing how they managed to string all of this together in three hours, given the standard of service that should actually be expected. Therefore, the service manager should be fired, because the only hiring criteria seems to be young and dynamic, plus white sneakers. None of the professional expertise. It's a shame for the kitchen that the service is trampling on their work. In any case, this experience has remained in my memory for a long time, and not in a positive sense.

Last Saturday, we spontaneously ended up at Colette. It was packed outside, but the staff was super friendly and offered us a drink at the bar inside – a really nice gesture! A table was free after a while, and we were able to relax and enjoy dinner. We ordered the Wellington menu – simply delicious! Every course was perfectly balanced and incredibly tasty. Great food, a relaxed vibe, and an attentive team. We'll definitely be back!

My long-anticipated visit to Colette last night regrettably fell short of expectations, resulting in a merely acceptable, yet ultimately disappointing, experience. Service was a notable concern. Despite the restaurant being only half full, the staff seemed overwhelmed and rushed. Interactions were brief, lacking the warmth and attentiveness one hopes for, which detracted from the overall dining atmosphere. Food quality was inconsistent. The prawn starter's pistachio crumb was excessive, overpowering the prawns. Steaks, ordered medium, arrived medium-rare. While a complimentary dessert was offered as compensation, it didn't fully compensate for the main course issue. On a positive note, the wine list was excellent, proving to be a highlight of the evening. In summary, the meal was just okay, and the price-to-performance ratio was significantly off. Despite the gesture of a free dessert, I would not return, sorry. It was an adequate, but ultimately disappointing, visit.

Utmost perfection. The service was amazing — I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews about it. We felt right at home. I had the Selection Menu. One word: amazing. The dessert was a 9/10 — but that's really splitting hairs. My wife had the Vegan Menu, and she was very happy with it! All in all, I would definitely recommend this place.

Very good food, but the service doesn't match the prices at all. The waiters are primarily concerned with themselves. Fresh water when the bottle is empty? None. Offering an aperitif? No. And there's no cutlery. On top of that, the restroom smelled so disgusting – ugh!

We were at the brasserie yesterday... and all I can say is: it was great! Our waiter was so attentive, but also pleasantly in the background. Never intrusive, but always there at the right time. The shrimp were a dream, the octopus a sensation... To start with, the pre-ordered Crémand arrived in an ice cooler... oh... it was great and we'll be back. A little vacation from everyday life. We were here for the summer special (€59 for 3 courses). The food was very good and the service was truly attentive. I also think the concept of this special is really great. Without it, we probably wouldn't have discovered the brasserie (via Instagram). Highly recommended if you want to try something different and special.

Great food in a relaxed atmosphere! The beef fillet was cooked to perfection and super tender, and the octopus was wonderfully flavorful and grilled to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive. Definitely a place you'll want to return to!

It's been a long time since I've eaten at such a good restaurant. To start with, we had Prosecco/Cremant on the house because it was my birthday – a really lovely gesture! Before that, we also had homemade pickled gherkins and delicious crusty bread! We even got to take the gherkins home in a jar! We had the Filet Wellington menu, and it was a dream from start to finish! Every portion was generous and the flavor was simply delicious! Fairly priced! I can highly recommend this restaurant if you want something special but don't want to spend a fortune on a three-star restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

As we've come to expect from Tim Raue and Brasserie Colette, the food was fantastic and the service excellent. A wonderful evening :)

We were at Tim Raue's Colette in Munich and had both menus: classic and vegan. The Tim Raue menu was strong, the vegan one disappointing. A lot of hype with strong flavors, but it lacked balance. Sometimes too spicy, sometimes over-seasoned, often just too forced. Simply too weak for the price. My conclusion: Cobbler, stick to your last. Vegan dishes should only be offered when they're up to par with the rest of the restaurant. The service was very friendly, the ambiance pleasant. I wouldn't recommend Colette to vegans or anyone who wants good vegan food.

Refined and elegant, this restaurant really pampered us. The waiters were very attentive to detail and did not overlook anything. We had a 5-course dinner and my favorite dishes were the appetizer (tempura prawns with pistachio grains) and the main course (veal medallion in a crust), both delicious! The dessert disappointed me a little but maybe I was the only one who did not appreciate it because my companions of the evening did not make any negative comments. I recommend going and trying it!

Dessert was another highlight: the Birne 1001 was a delicious and elegant finish to the meal. Overall, it was a truly lovely evening filled with fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be returning!

We were in the brasserie for the first time today. Had the vegan 5-course menu and 3 different dishes. It was really top, diverse taste experiences. Service was very accommodating - with a small appetizer on the house beforehand.

As always, the experience was perfect again! We had oysters, shrimp, a large artichoke, fillet and cannelloni, followed by aperitifs and Negroni, with water and wine. The quality, presentation, taste, everything was as you would expect in this class. The service was also excellent as always. High prices but absolutely justified for the performance. We'll be back!

Attentive, pleasantly unobtrusive service, the food was a delight.

Appetizer: Fried shrimp with pistachios and lychees. Lychees and shrimps go very well together. Appetizer: artichokes with three dipping sauces. The artichokes are of good quality and the lemon sauce is very appetizing. The main course "Cafe de Paris" filet mignon is medium rare, tender and juicy. Main meal: Octopus feet with truffle Jerusalem artichoke puree, soft and delicious

Despite informing you in advance by email that you have a chilli allergy, the restaurant then informed you: sorry, none of the menus work, or without sauce. Few of the main courses were served, but only without sauce. And that for the wedding anniversary. At this price you can actually expect to get an answer so that you can reschedule straight away. Others manage to do this too, although there were always main courses where no chilli was used. Oh yes, salad would be possible. Too bad Oh, when I was told why I didn't get a response to my email, I got the following: yes, the boss isn't there. Really great. And thank you for nothing

Very nice culinary evening in a nice atmosphere with knowledgeable, attentive and friendly service. The “Wellington” menu was enjoyed, which started with shrimp Marocain and conjured up a variety of flavors on the palate. The tobinambur cream and veal head jus served with the pulp were also completely convincing. The fillet was on point and of excellent quality. A piece that you don't get every day. The tart with chocolate, ice cream and caramel that was served as dessert was absolutely fine - although for me something lighter would have been absolutely sufficient. Conclusion: excellent cuisine that comes across as very pleasant without any frills in this price range and that you should definitely try.

There were four of us at Colette. We thought it was a very nice evening. The service was great and the waiter's casual approach made everything very relaxed. We all had the filet Wellington menu and were all very happy. It is completely normal that not all tastes are always the same. One person liked one better and the other liked the other. All in all it was very tasty. The prawns and pulpo are particularly noteworthy. The atmosphere was very appealing.

Very tasty food and drinks, with nice, attentive service in a chic but not frills atmosphere. The bistro character is retained. It costs a little more, but in our opinion it's worth every cent. For a 5 course menu for 129€ based on Tim Raue's Choice of this quality, you really can't complain. Our 11 year old son also liked and enjoyed it. Everything is recommended, although the Shrimp Marocain was a real highlight, as was the Pulpo. We'll definitely be back!

Yes, there may be restaurants where you can eat for a quarter of the price. In the other restaurants you'll be full afterwards, but here you'll be happy. Perfect service, excellent food, pleasant atmosphere. It was beautiful. The only point of criticism: As far as I know, a brasserie is a brewery. Today there is a huge amount of excellent craft beers from France, Belgium or even Germany. I would immediately think of something suitable for every course. Only light and wheat is simply not appropriate here. I think in addition to the 60 or 80 types of wine, there would also be room in the fridge for 10 suitably selected craft beers. A menu with a suitable beer accompaniment selected by the beer sommelier - I would book it straight away.

Very tasty food, the only thing that bothers us is that the staff use the same language. I find it extremely inappropriate for a star restaurant. We urgently need to work on it. Was there for the 5th time now and will definitely not go to Colette again. I feel more comfortable and better looked after at the Aubergine in Starnberg and, above all, more valued. It's a shame that was the last time.

It was a top performance by Manuel and his team. We were and are thrilled. Top service and a very successful menu. We all had the Wellington menu. Excellent!! If you haven't dined there, it's your own fault!!

The dishes were very tasty and beautifully prepared. Despite the fact that we would have liked the portion sizes to be a little more generous, we were satisfied with three courses at the end. The prerequisite is that you have already eaten a large meal during the day. The wine list offers a large selection, but those who like to drink sweet wines or wines with residual sugar are not suitable for this wine list. On a positive note, our waiter was able to offer a medium-dry wine after an initial rejection. Overall a nice evening, price-performance ratio is okay.

Here you can enjoy excellent food in a stylish yet very relaxed environment. The service is very courteous and friendly. We were absolutely satisfied and would love to come back.

Very happy with the menu! Unfortunately there are deductions in the service: initially a good start, but when it came to wine advice for the meal we were simply referred to the wine list in a rather flippant manner without any meaningful information. The topic of food intolerances (already stated in the reservation) would also only be partially addressed. A solution could be found, e.g. a cream contained in the dish was left out for dessert, but as a result the dish was completely acidic. The staff's reaction was "yes, that doesn't surprise us, the lime is already very present." As a customer, you ask yourself why it is offered as a course when it is clear that it will not taste like that? From around 9:30 p.m. drinks, cutlery etc. began to be refilled in the bar. This caused very loud, annoying noises. When asked about this, the reaction was “we just have to refill it towards the end of the evening”. Yes, I understand, but in this price category I would have expected a variant with less disruption to the guests. After paying the bill we were largely ignored by the staff, apparently they were dissatisfied with a tip of only €40. In a different price category there would have been one more star for the same food and service, but considering the prices we would have expected more. The food itself gets 4.5 stars from me, the only deduction here is the dessert, whose acidity unfortunately lingered for quite a while afterwards, but not in a positive way.

Top food, top taste, top service, great evening! There were three of us and we each put together a 5-course menu. We received very good advice. Without reservation, all dishes were prepared to perfection and had an indescribable variety of flavors. The ambience is pleasant with a pleasing portion of casualness. The men in service and at the bar are attentive at all times and, in addition to professionalism, convey fun and passion. We felt completely comfortable and were happy to pay the bill!

Improvement could be on the vegan carrot main dish. Some different textures would have been great. Classic menu was awesome ! I will return !
