I called the legal department here about a cancellation matter, my contact was Daniela Pursche. I politely explained my concerns and wanted to find a compromise. The lady was so rude and snappy and rattled off her answer at record speed. She immediately addressed me as "good man". When I said I wanted to be addressed by my name, she simply hung up. You can't find a compromise with this lady, she's probably responsible for speaking rudely to customers. To the bosses at Möbel Höffner: Anyone who reacts to customers like that doesn't belong here.

We bought our Paidi baby bed there. Now I have ordered replacement screws. Overall, I've been waiting for at least 8 weeks now. I had to follow up on the phone several times and orders were placed incorrectly or with delays. Then they said the manufacturer would send the screws directly. After talking to the manufacturer, I was told that the screws would first go to Höffner. Then I get another confusing email that our furnishings arrived damaged and replacement parts have now been ordered. I can't think of anything else to say, that's really not good customer service...

Absolutely shocked. I ordered a few small things. Wall coat rack for my office, cutting board and two kitchen paper dispensers. At my post office I picked up a huge cardboard box that was already completely riddled with holes. The employee said to me: “It wasn’t packaged well.” Arrived home… see photo…. Everything just popped in, no cavity filling. Everything is going back and I definitely won't order it a second time.

We ordered 2 cabinets from a local seller. He had no idea, so various things were ordered incorrectly and he made several false statements. In addition, several parts were damaged upon delivery. It took weeks because Höffner sent an expert. It then took another time until missing parts were delivered. Parts were missing again. These are being ordered now (5 months after ordering) and no one can say how long it will take. Like before. In general, complaints would be handled better if communication wasn't so catastrophic. The only emails that contain incorrect information are received and you cannot make contact by phone. So you fill out the contact form again and again. After X requests and months, we don't get any information about how the total price is reduced because the correct fitting parts are cheaper than the ones sold. We have also been asking for a discount for 6 broken parts on 2 cabinets for 5 months. (Only 1 out of 4 cupboard doors wasn't broken, there was 1 wrong door handle, wrong drawers, bent parts, etc.) Here too we are simply ignored and answers come by email (noreply) that simply ignore the topic. And since an expert was sent, everything that was broken had to sit around with us for months.

We were looking for new kitchenware and were absolutely not enthusiastic about the shopping experience, so my review is based on that alone. The presentation of the dishes and sets on the pedestals didn't appeal to us at all, and the price display on the small boards is extremely confusing and annoying. If you have three different bowls that are only slightly different in size and are only described as 12x3 cm or 14x3 cm and 16x4 cm, you first have to laboriously search through them and not even the EAN numbers are correct in order to sort the dishes correctly. Then you run the piece to the price scanners, which, thankfully, are numerous, to find out that it is a piece of tableware that is not even listed there on the price boards and is being offered at a completely different price. We then decided to move the whole thing to another shopping and furniture store where there is normal and accurate pricing.

Pretty bad marketing ploys used to lure you into the store. Discounts are promised, which are only available in special exceptions. Items are advertised that are only available in small quantities and are then only available to order. Even though you have already paid when you ordered, when you pick it up you still have to stand in line at the only open checkout before the goods are handed out and then have to wait forever at the dismal goods checkout. You don't need such furniture stores. As a customer you don't feel welcome at all.

Unfortunately I can only give one star. The kitchen was planned and measured and installed (complete disaster, cupboards don't fit in the front or back). There is a worktop and 1 cupboard missing. You pay 1750 euros for the installation and the water isn't even connected even though it was "paid for". Complaints are a complete disaster... the incomplete kitchen has been standing for 7 weeks. Complaints department contacted me after 2 weeks. Another 3 weeks passed before anyone came over. (Very nice man, he did his best and was equally speechless). It was said that someone would contact me within 2 days because I had to choose a new worktop. That was already 16 days ago. Yesterday I should have received a call back (after calling several times). Of course there was no call again... Be smarter like me... We're talking about a kitchen that costs almost 10,000 euros... you're welcome to pick it up again... it's not worth 1000 euros as it stands right now. Something can always go wrong. But you should pay even more attention to ensuring that the customer is satisfied afterwards. Nothing is happening here and the kitchen has been standing for almost 2 months 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Never again Möbel Höffner! They're super fast when it comes to sales, but when it comes to service and delivery, the store sucks. We bought dining table chairs a few years ago and the delivery was delayed by several weeks. We only found out about it because of our own initiative. We were very annoyed about the service back then. I never wanted to shop there again, but my friend persuaded me to. A few weeks ago we bought an outdoor lounge set there. It should be delivered today. The driver greeted me with: “Has anyone called you yet?” While loading, he noticed that the boxes and goods were damaged and that pillows were missing from one box. Nevertheless, they sent him off - in the hope that we would accept it that way. I think it's a disgrace to send the driver off like that and not call first as he was told. The trip could have been saved. Who wants damaged and incomplete goods? I also find it really “poor” to force the driver to have a discussion with the customer. Customer service should be responsible for that! The driver was really nice and I just feel sorry for him in this system. The gentleman from customer service on the phone was simply annoyed and couldn't give me any information about the new delivery. This had nothing to do with empathy towards an aggrieved customer. We will never go to Möbel Höffner again! Bought twice, there were problems with delivery twice, and twice we were just disappointed with the service and the way we dealt with customers and problems.

We are horrified!!! You used to be able to rely on Höffner, but that seems to be no longer the case. In February 24, we picked out a box spring bed from Höffner Fürth-Nuremberg and paid a deposit. Delivery was scheduled for July. After a fixed appointment had already been arranged through customer service in June, a week before that there was a cancellation because the goods had not been delivered. After months the same thing again in November. Until the bed was delivered in December... but what a miracle with two left halves. Since then, without a specific date, we have been sleeping in an incomplete, screwed-on and shared bed. Well.. in January 25th we found out that the manufacturer was bankrupt and that we should now look for a new bed (everyone is more expensive now), but we have to pay the additional price ourselves. However, an identical bed is still only available in the online catalog under a different company name for just €300 more. If we wanted to keep the defective goods, we would be granted a discount of €150... a joke, right? At least Höffner has lost our entire family as regular customers!!! updated status January 27th. When we responded to the seemingly responsive response from customer service here, it led to the same result. But now the products have become even more expensive...

However, I would particularly like to emphasize the outstanding friendliness and professionalism at the checkout. The cashier at reception, Ms. A. Kovanci, welcomed me with exceptional helpfulness, friendliness and competence. Rarely have I experienced a cashier as warm, courteous and friendly as Ms. Kovanci, who greets her customers with a smile and makes a noticeable effort to make shopping pleasant. Her colleague, Ms. F. Akin, was also extremely friendly and approachable, which rounded off the entire experience at the checkout in a positive way. Such first-class customer service cannot be taken for granted these days and deserves special recognition. We were really completely satisfied today. First of all, the selection on site is really very extensive, we didn't expect that at all. But the icing on the cake was the employees. So in a good mood, competent and friendly, despite the stress because there was really a lot going on today. Starting with the salesman Mr. Gerneth, continuing through Mr. Drews at the goods issuing checkout and the employees at the goods issuing department (unfortunately I didn't remember their names). We bought a dining table and unfortunately I overestimated the loading capacity of my car. The whole team quickly made sure that we could borrow a van. As I said, it was really busy and the team were so friendly, always smiling and in a good mood. Buying furniture is fun. The branch manager is lucky to have such employees. No Swede or “red chair” can keep up. Thanks to all!

The very last thing and a warning to those who want to buy something there! We ordered and bought a bedroom for almost 3000 euros on October 8th, 2024, the delivery took place on December 19th, 24th as agreed so that we could have everything set up before Christmas because we had visitors and they were supposed to sleep with us. Now the unbelievable horror begins! There are no screws on the bedroom wardrobe, not a single one, no door handles or assembly instructions. Our old closet was of course disposed of the day before and all the clothes were distributed in the dining room and bedroom. What should we do, we get visitors at Christmas and everything is lying around so that the visitor couldn't sleep here and that 5 days before Christmas. Of course, I immediately called customer service four times to discuss what was going on. This woman R. says to us "that's the way it is now, we should go to the Obi and buy screws ourselves" then I wanted to call the managing director who was supposedly at a meeting but he called back (lied) and the lady said he would call soon back (lie). Called again a Mr. T. On the phone he said "go to the Obi and get screws etc. This customer service is the most ridiculous thing there is, especially you are alone because there is no help and nothing. Today they write to me and I get a 100 euro voucher. It's an impudence to process customers like this and leave them alone. Don't buy anything there if only 1 screw is missing, you'll be spoken to stupidly on the phone, lied to and dismissed like that a furniture store NO. HÖ-5145368-T

Normally I only take the time to write reviews when somewhere or something was really great, as there are enough people who write bad reviews. So today I'm writing a bad review for the first time: My husband and I wanted to buy a bed and went straight up to the third floor (not the cheap take-away items): we walked through the department for 20 minutes and couldn't find a single seller (no, they weren't there other conversations, but not a single one was to be found). It wasn't until we got back to the escalators that we found 4 Höffner employees who were happily having a funny conversation. I then had the nerve to interrupt the conversation. One of the employees then ran after us to the bed that we wanted to order. When we got to the bed he turned to us, scanned us from top to bottom with his eyes and then asked: "Have you ever looked at the price tag?" I thought the question was strange, but answered yes. His answer was: "I just wanted to make sure you could afford this bed." YES, the bed was expensive and YES, people who just wear jeans, a sweater and sneakers can still earn enough to buy a bed!!! Nothing like this has ever happened to me in my 40 years of life! Simply outrageous.

The products offered are a nice selection and also beautifully designed. The discounts offered are often opaque, which means you buy more things, and are usually only available on promotional items. Personally, this is too tedious for me. The staff at the checkout could be a little friendlier and not "hands off" if you want to put the scanned item in the shopping cart but didn't see that the item still needs to be unlocked and it doesn't hurt to say goodbye. Especially since you went back into the store after the fire alarm went off and there was almost nothing going on at the checkouts. I don't need that!!!

It's a real shame. We bought a new kitchen there 8 years ago. Unfortunately our sink broke. We wanted to replace these yesterday. So off to Höffner. However, the employee in the kitchen department had no interest in helping us. He was bored and we probably didn't meet his customer or sales expectations. I can't remember ever being given such disparaging advice. He reluctantly chose a very utopian suggestion for us. We decide to cancel the consultation and went to XXL Lutz. Here we found what we were looking for. There was also a new faucet. It may be that this was just bad luck. As a customer, I don't have to be treated like that. Because of this experience we will not go there again.

Service Desert Höffi. WANTED TO BUY 3 items last Saturday, noticed at checkout that the items were not marked up. The cashier shrugged her shoulders and sent us back across the store for information. The lack of information, as well as helplessness and unwillingness to help. The service person called couldn't help either. She gave and then some other article that was almost the same (looked completely different). When we politely declined, the lady couldn't help but roll her eyes. Ultimately we left without buying the goods. Bravo Höffner!!!

I went to Möbel Höffner twice and was satisfied twice. First of all, the offer is great, even now in the run-up to Christmas. I see that everyone can find what they are looking for there. However, customer service can be improved. It was Black Week and there were discount signs everywhere. However, I would have to notice from the squad that the red prices belonged to the customer card and not to the black week. Not easy to understand for me from customers. To get a customer card, I would have had to go back to the entrance to the information desk and only then go back to the checkout. Too complicated and too long if you are in a hurry (or, for example, there is an appointment, the kindergarten is closing, etc.). I then created a customer card pretty quickly at home. This could have been done in the store in 1 minute. And then I ordered everything via click & collect. With the number I would still have to go 1. for information, 2. to the checkout and 3. to pick it up. Then there was no one there, then someone who eagerly wanted to come back, after 7 minutes I went back to the checkout. She called someone who then 4. sent me to the specialist department - I was supposed to pick out the things!! Please? A new saleswoman helped me, but that's not the principle of click&collect. Meanwhile, a child was waiting in the car... 5. I then went back to the checkout with the stack and confirmed receipt with a signature. So that was my quick pick-up afternoon at Höffner. I think that will no longer be an option for me. Although the store is really nice and has a great selection.

1 star for the comment because there was no other way. On August 10, 2024, we ordered a bed from a local Höffner branch and paid a deposit of €150. We were told delivery could take 8-12 weeks. I painted the room to match the color of the bed and bought a new wardrobe so that the bed would fit into the room. However, after the 12 weeks, no one contacted me. When I finally reported it myself, I was told that the manufacturer of the bed might be insolvent. I was offered to either transfer the deposit to another bed or cancel the purchase contract “free of charge”. I have been sleeping on the floor for a month now due to Höffner's negligence and I have not been offered a customer friendly solution. When I asked if there was no discount on a new bed, since we were ultimately the ones who suffered, I was told that a discount of 2-3% might be possible, but that this would have to be discussed with the head of department first. I absolutely cannot recommend shopping at Höffner!

What I experienced today at Höffner is 1 star too much. I stand in line at a checkout, as I thought, where there were very few people because I am disabled and have to walk with two walking frames. Unfortunately, I didn't see from behind that it was the checkout for the goods issue, the gentleman there cashed in, complained that this was not a normal cash register, but the goods issuing cash register. I have to say, I only had to pay for two small items for the kitchen. I apologized and said I didn't see this and apologized for the stress I seemed to have caused him. He said that to me again smugly and condescendingly, You're not causing me any stress, but you're causing the stress on the customers behind you, is it still okay? (these customers said to me, no problem yet, everything's okay).❗️ This is not how you treat customers, regardless of whether they have a handicap or not. The management should train this gentleman in dealing with customers, because even despite the stress of a Saturday, this is absolutely impossible. The only bright spot today was the nice saleswoman who showed me the kitchen items I needed so that I don't have to walk through the whole store, which is difficult for me because of my walking disability. Höffner won't see me again any time soon. You don't need that kind of experience. I would like to point out that I worked in sales and at the cash register for 20 years. I always enjoyed my work. Even on Saturdays when it was stressful I was always friendly and nice to the customers, I couldn't have an experience like today and I have to be honest and say that I have never experienced anything like this in any store I shop at, even when it was busy. As I said, no more Höffner. I can leave my money somewhere else.‼️

I would like to share my experiences with Möbel Höffner Fürth-Nuremberg because to date - over two months after my written complaint - I have not received any feedback. The purchase and installation of our kitchen was extremely disappointing. From planning to final assembly, there were numerous problems: late delivery of the rental kitchen, incorrect or damaged components, repeated postponements and poor communication. What was particularly annoying was that we didn't have a permanent contact person during the entire time and the responsible employee couldn't be reached by phone or responded to emails. In total, it took five assembly teams to get the kitchen halfway finished - and even then there were still errors. The costs for us and probably also for Höffner could have been avoided if planning and communication had worked better. In addition, there were personal stresses such as multiple vacation days and long periods without a functional kitchen. We live in a new building with many potential kitchen buyers and consciously chose Möbel Höffner. Unfortunately, we found that other neighbors who bought their kitchens from suppliers such as Segmüller, OBI or IKEA had consistently better experiences - without similar problems or delays. Unfortunately, the entire process leaves the impression of a lack of customer service and quality control. After these experiences, I unfortunately cannot recommend Höffner.

The people who work here(I assume they’re the owners too) were rushing me too much to make an order even though I was literally the only person inside. They stared at me from time to time while I was eating. The table I wanted to sit on was really dirty and the food itself is really below average and should be priced around 30% lower, only then it would make sense to eat there. Miso soup and rice are not bad tho(but not good as well) and that’s the only reason I give it 2 stars and not one. Actually, it made my stomach hurt much as well but it could be because of me and not the food🫡
