The so-called interior design consultant was overwhelmed by the task of furnishing and advising customers. With higher-end wardrobes offering various options (Sudbrock), he couldn't even begin to understand the catalog. Sales and commission, YES, anything else was too much. He could have consulted a colleague if he didn't know what he was talking about... Well, Segmüller, Lutz, and especially Tendenza can advise, plan, and sell – SO STAY AWAY FROM HIGH-PRICE FURNITURE AND GO TO FURNITURE STORES OVER THE BOX.

No suitable offers for bookcases. Expensive and not available at short notice.

Today I went to the Höffner furniture store in Fürth/Nuremberg, to the bed department, to look for a new bed. Since I had some ideas and wishes, but only a certain budget, I approached a sales consultant. It was the best decision I could have made. With her help, I found a fantastic bed for myself. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Ms. C. Skrodt. She was very friendly and went to so much trouble, showing me what felt like 50 beds and even calculating several options in her system until we finally found THE BED that fulfilled all my wishes and was affordable FOR ME. We need more salespeople like her. I asked if I could mention her by name because I really wanted to share my experience. Many people can leave negative comments, and it's easy to vent frustration, BUT I want to share my joy about this successful visit to Höffner and thank this dedicated woman again most sincerely. You are fantastic, and I hope your boss knows what he has in you. Thank you so much!

Of course, salespeople want to make a sale, but Mr. Seit, after understanding that our budget was somewhat limited, gave us excellent advice even in the lower price range. We would gladly use his services again!

Expensive sofa ruined after 6 months. It wasn't accepted, even though the expert said it was due to poor workmanship. I'll never buy anything there again.

I'm thrilled with the service, especially considering it was only 15 minutes before closing time! Every single employee, whether in sales on the first floor, in the bargain corner, or the older gentleman in the warehouse, was incredibly friendly and helpful. This was my first visit, and based on this experience, it definitely won't be my last. Top-notch!

Update The almost standard reply is pointless. With "great service" and "positive customer focus," I would have expected a response addressing the other two points as well, not just point 1, as in the email! Point 2 is Höffner's fault, and they could have made a goodwill gesture regarding point 3! So, the typical "blah blah" is useless! This review refers to email contact and voucher promotions. The vouchers associated with a sweepstakes, which are sent personally, are, in my opinion, only there to lure customers. I've tried to redeem them three times already, and it hasn't worked. The prices, combined with excluded items, etc., are very opaque. This caused problems during my last purchase, among other things. 1. The voucher, as usual, couldn't be redeemed. 2. The price of an item was incorrect. It was discounted on the price tag, via the scanner in the store, and online. He paid full price at the checkout (unfortunately, I only noticed this when I got home). Thirdly, I forgot to redeem a voucher I had won in the store, as I had intended to use the voucher that had been sent to me. So I sent a complaint email regarding the first two points. Point 3 concerned goodwill. I only received a response after a reminder, and even then, the email wasn't properly read. A curt reply to the first point, and that was it. I wrote again, but haven't received a response. Very disappointed, as I've been shopping there for years!

Overpriced and poor product selection... Staff very unfriendly from the information desk to the customer service department. No one would want to buy anything here...

We visited Höffner on Saturday, December 20, 2025, to buy a new sofa. The food was really tasty, and our three kids had a lot of fun in the kids area. The lovely lady named Nelly who works there happens to speak Turkish and took great care of the kids which was really important to us since we don’t speak much German. The furniture is spread over several floors and there’s a huge selection. Unfortunately, I still couldn’t decide on a sofa, but we’ll definitely come back for the kids area and the delicious food!

We didn't buy much, but we still want to commend the cleanliness throughout the entire furniture store. The restaurant on the 3rd floor is also very appealing.

Delivery and call center... I don't want to go into detail, but I won't be buying anything there again...

We visited Höffner in Fürth today, December 19, 2025, and were thrilled. We found all the furniture we needed for our house there. The sales staff in each department were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

I expected more Christmas decorations in the furniture store after a previous experience. Perhaps it's also appropriate to waste less.

This company doesn't deserve a single star. While the kitchen itself looks good, the installation was consistently poor. Several parts were incorrectly assembled or incomplete, and the extractor hood poses a serious safety hazard. I strongly advise against purchasing a kitchen with installation service from them. Customer service is slow, disrespectful, and anything but solution-oriented. Instead of offering support, they obstruct, delay, and unnecessarily complicate things – causing me considerable frustration. The kitchen is unusable in its current state. The frustration is a daily occurrence, and now I'm supposed to contact them via a general hotline – unacceptable. My conclusion: steer clear and don't waste your money here.

We purchased a reclining armchair for seniors at Höffner in Fürth. The selection of models on display is very extensive. Various sizes are available, allowing you to choose the perfect fit. We would especially like to thank Mr. Falco for his excellent advice and great patience. Anyone looking for such an armchair, particularly for older users, will find Höffner furniture store to be an excellent choice. We are looking forward to its hopefully soon delivery.

Unfair rejection of our complaint Poor quality topper for such a good bed that wasn't cheap! Outrageous! This is how you lose customers. Unfortunately, I have to give at least one star, otherwise I can't leave a review.

A real ordeal. Never again. I bought a kitchen and after a year, not all the defects have been fixed. In the end, we agreed on a refund and a voucher. However, when I tried to redeem the voucher, it wasn't fully accepted. After contacting the management and receiving a promise to refund the overpayment, it turns out that this promise was also broken. Absolutely outrageous!

It's the biggest, most HUGE home goods store I've ever seen. They have so many products and a great variety. The staff are helpful.

The receiving department is an absolute nightmare. Long waiting times, incredibly unfriendly, and not at all helpful. We really dislike going there.

Today I visited Hofner Furniture with the intention of buying furniture and spending a considerable amount of money. Unfortunately, upon entering the store, I was immediately greeted by an older employee who was clearly German, and the only thing I could understand was that if I didn't speak German, I should leave. Such rude and dismissive behavior is absolutely unacceptable, especially in a furniture store. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company and will definitely consider other options. The man who works at the first entrance on the left is a poor representative of his company.

We bought a rather expensive sofa a few weeks ago. The service was excellent. Today, we returned a shelf we bought last week because it didn't quite fit. At the customer service center, I was informed that a 10% return fee would be charged. I've never experienced anything like this before. It's a great way to lose good customers.

I bought a sofa from Höffner that, after two to three years, had become so worn out that you could feel the frame. The employee sent to inspect it even confirmed this in his report, stating that this condition was not normal. Despite this, I was informed that the warranty had expired. I was then presented with two options: either a contract amendment, which would give me a discount on the purchase of a new sofa, or a paid upholstery repair through the manufacturer. I wasn't given any time to consider my options, and the overall experience was very unfriendly. For a sofa in this price range, it's disappointing that the upholstery deteriorates so quickly, leaving the customer ultimately on their own, even though their own employee confirmed that the condition was not normal. I have rarely received such excellent advice as from Matthias Scheit when buying our new sofa. He took an incredible amount of time for us, listened to our ideas, and showed us interesting models that we wouldn't have considered otherwise. We've been shopping at Möbel Höffner for over 15 years. We bought a sofa from the lovely woman on the first floor. We were impressed by her friendly yet unobtrusive manner. She gave us excellent advice, immediately showed us the most beautiful sofas, and the selection of upholstery fabrics was amazing... We bought it right there in the store, not online. You really have to touch, feel, and test furniture... Thank you, Ms. H. Y. It was a pleasure shopping at Höffner! Thank you, and keep up the good work! 👍

It was pleasant, even though it was busy. We didn't have to wait long and there was a salesperson available when we had questions.

We waited in line for 30 minutes because only two tills were open. When we went to pay, we were told we were at the wrong till and had to queue again at the other one, meaning another 30-minute wait. Clear signage for the tills and having more tills open on a Saturday afternoon would be helpful.

Bought a kitchen. Had to wait over four months. Due to an error on Höffner's part, two new cabinets had to be ordered. Now I have to wait months for the new cabinets as well. The built-in dishwasher doesn't work. The technician said my angle valves were defective. I had both angle valves replaced at my own expense. The dishwasher still doesn't work. Höffner has been informed about this for over seven weeks, and nothing has been done! Nobody has responded! They pass the matter on to subcontractors, and they pass it on to others. There isn't even a date set yet as to whether anyone will take care of it, if at all! Despite a purchase agreement! I've been without a dishwasher for over seven weeks now. It's pure disappointment! Still nothing has happened. Even though they're responding here! 05/06/25 Höffner has sent someone out three times now, who simply took notes on what still needs to be done! They had to make an appointment three times, and I had to take time off work three times to be there! The dishwasher still doesn't work sporadically! There aren't any rails installed in the oven because the wrong ones were included! Let's see if they send someone over again who just takes notes and leaves! It's all disgusting! 🤢🤮 October 1, 2025

Unfortunately, it's getting worse and worse! The staff are sometimes really pushy and quickly get annoyed when they realize you're just browsing and don't want to buy anything right away. Unfortunately, the prices are also completely exorbitant!

I don't really give bad reviews to this day. We're planning a new build, the architect sends us to plan the kitchen, and we make three appointments, one of which is at Höffner. We arrive 10 minutes before our scheduled appointment, and from the first minute, you can tell the salesperson's completely unpleasant mood, especially when you state your budget is good and reasonable, and they say you simply have no idea what a good budget for a kitchen is. What do you expect from a consultation? Color samples, cabinet options, countertop samples, and, most importantly, a 3D model of the finished kitchen. What do you get? Substandard answers, a strange feeling like you're worthless because you can't and don't want to afford a 50k kitchen. You scribble a plan on a piece of paper and then calculate a price based on it. When you then ask how the new build process works, all you get is that you have to make three appointments, sign, and if you're lucky, you'll get your kitchen when the house is finished. Otherwise, you'll just have to be happy with a makeshift kitchen for now. Are you serious??? I would have loved to show the salesperson my accounts and say, "Tough luck, we could have doubled that." Abysmal, and Höffner saw us for the last time in our lives. The other consultation at the red chair lasted 2.5 hours, less than 45 minutes, with 3D models of the various fixtures, cabinet options, and countertops, answering questions, genuine advice, and meeting people at eye level. Tomorrow we're having our third consultation, and they've reserved a 3-hour consultation for us, which is reasonable considering we're talking about €15,000 to €30,000. A total waste of time at Höffner Fürth

Hmm, unfortunately, I can very well imagine why traditional furniture stores have to close. We've been able to furnish many rooms with Höffner furniture in the past, but unfortunately not this time. We spent a good hour in the department and looked at almost all the room combinations on display. Unfortunately, despite eye contact and a brief wait at the information desk, we received no help at all. What a pity. Unfortunately, the Swedish competitor won the contract this time.

I ordered the goods, and then it turned out they didn't have a ramp for small cars. I wasted 7 hours with this company. I don't recommend them, they're the worst company I've ever used.

As others have already described, there's no staff. We were in the bedding department yesterday, September 17th. For over half an hour, not a single employee could be found – how exactly do they think you can buy something from them? After over half an hour, we found a responsible employee who had absolutely no interest in selling anything. Terrible service! There are plenty of other furniture stores in the area that are much better.
