Bought a kitchen. Had to wait over four months. Due to an error on Höffner's part, two new cabinets had to be ordered. Now I have to wait months for the new cabinets as well. The built-in dishwasher doesn't work. The technician said my angle valves were defective. I had both angle valves replaced at my own expense. The dishwasher still doesn't work. Höffner has been informed about this for over seven weeks, and nothing has been done! Nobody has responded! They pass the matter on to subcontractors, and they pass it on to others. There isn't even a date set yet as to whether anyone will take care of it, if at all! Despite a purchase agreement! I've been without a dishwasher for over seven weeks now. It's pure disappointment! Still nothing has happened. Even though they're responding here! 05/06/25 Höffner has sent someone out three times now, who simply took notes on what still needs to be done! They had to make an appointment three times, and I had to take time off work three times to be there! The dishwasher still doesn't work sporadically! There aren't any rails installed in the oven because the wrong ones were included! Let's see if they send someone over again who just takes notes and leaves! It's all disgusting! 🤢🤮 October 1, 2025

I don't really give bad reviews to this day. We're planning a new build, the architect sends us to plan the kitchen, and we make three appointments, one of which is at Höffner. We arrive 10 minutes before our scheduled appointment, and from the first minute, you can tell the salesperson's completely unpleasant mood, especially when you state your budget is good and reasonable, and they say you simply have no idea what a good budget for a kitchen is. What do you expect from a consultation? Color samples, cabinet options, countertop samples, and, most importantly, a 3D model of the finished kitchen. What do you get? Substandard answers, a strange feeling like you're worthless because you can't and don't want to afford a 50k kitchen. You scribble a plan on a piece of paper and then calculate a price based on it. When you then ask how the new build process works, all you get is that you have to make three appointments, sign, and if you're lucky, you'll get your kitchen when the house is finished. Otherwise, you'll just have to be happy with a makeshift kitchen for now. Are you serious??? I would have loved to show the salesperson my accounts and say, "Tough luck, we could have doubled that." Abysmal, and Höffner saw us for the last time in our lives. The other consultation at the red chair lasted 2.5 hours, less than 45 minutes, with 3D models of the various fixtures, cabinet options, and countertops, answering questions, genuine advice, and meeting people at eye level. Tomorrow we're having our third consultation, and they've reserved a 3-hour consultation for us, which is reasonable considering we're talking about €15,000 to €30,000. A total waste of time at Höffner Fürth

It takes 40 minutes to pick out ten items, but 90 minutes to order them. You have to search individually for where you found each item in each department, and then find an employee for that department who will walk you through a 20-minute ordering process. The employees aren't unfriendly; the items are just poor quality. The ordering and pickup processes, along with the paperwork, are ridiculously complicated. If I'm going to spend a lot of money in a store, I really expect that they won't make me wait unnecessarily and waste my time.

I'm really disappointed with my shopping experience at Höffner. The promotions seem attractive at first glance, but they're completely opaque. When I was paying, I discovered that the items marked as special offers couldn't be combined with each other – there hadn't been any clear indication of this beforehand. It felt like a rip-off to me. The service at the checkout was also a disservice: unfriendly, irritating, and unhelpful. Instead of clarity and support, I felt like it was my own fault for not understanding the complicated terms and conditions. The bottom line: This wasn't a good customer experience for me. Transparency and friendly service look different – ​​I certainly won't shop there again.

She was always friendly, solution-oriented, and truly did everything in her power to ensure our satisfaction. Even minor defects in the fabric were repaired without any hassle and without much effort – the new sofa was replaced quickly and without any problems. If something couldn't be resolved immediately, Ms. Ucar immediately consulted with her supervisor, ensuring we were always well looked after. You present your winning ticket and are asked for the letter. Unfortunately, it's not there, and you think you're registered. No matter :-(. I want to buy two decorative vases upstairs near the kitchens for 60 and 80 euros, but where can I find them? Downstairs, only perplexed but very friendly salespeople. Even if I had gotten the decorations, no one knew if the price was included in the promotion. Other vases without a price have to be scanned??? All in all, it's not a pleasant shopping experience when prices are missing and no information indicates whether the item is included in the promotion. It's not my job to find out whether it's still in stock, or if so, where I can find the item. I knew exactly what I wanted, but unfortunately, no one could tell me if and where this item could be found. The prize was just a lure. Others can do that much better. The employees are apparently not properly trained or informed. This is a clear criticism of management. The second star is for the food!

I've shopped here several times and have always been satisfied. For items that aren't in stock, you have to expect delivery times of several weeks. But that's okay. The quality is excellent. You can also just come here for the meal. It's a nice, large restaurant, and the prices are perfectly reasonable. Whether it's Schäuferle (a kind of pork shoulder), Matjes (matjes herring), or Currywurst (curry sausage), there's something for everyone.

We were particularly impressed by how quickly and professionally she prepared the financing documents. At the end, she even personally accompanied us to the financing department on the upper floor. Complaint I bought a Schlaraffia mattress in July 2019 for a whopping €1,200. The springs are now bulging upwards. Schlaraffia referred me to Höffner, and Höffner refused, stating: "The goods/mattress were delivered in July 2019. This means that it was delivered over six years ago, and the warranty has therefore long since expired. We must reject your request." Complaint rejected. We also bought a box spring bed at the same time. After four years, it was so worn out that my son slept like he was in a hammock. We then bought my son's new bed from Segmüller. So, Höffner is no longer an option for me in the future.

If I could give no stars, I would. After contacting customer service nine times, I haven't received a solution from "customer service." Unfortunately, there's no service here. It's a real shame that they treat their customers like this. Everything seemed to be OK with the furniture delivery, but upon unpacking, I noticed that the wrong piece of furniture had been delivered. Instead of the 5 business days for the original delivery time for the display case, we now have to wait an additional 3 weeks for the replacement. In the picture, you can see the bulky, incorrect boxes, for which there's actually no room; this was also communicated! After repeated inquiries, we are always put off or fobbed off. Customer service shows zero initiative to find a reasonable solution. We suggested picking up the furniture in Nuremberg/Fürth, but in return for compensation, because we ordered with delivery included. Customer service then simply sent an email saying that the package was ready for pickup at the store and that we should return the incorrect packages ourselves! Sorry, but I'm not your shipping company!!! We just want the goods we ordered. We even granted a 14-day deadline to rectify the delivery, but this was simply rejected! If they were to give an award for the worst online customer service, Höffner would probably be one of the favorites! Update: Nice comment from Höffner. Full of hope that something positive will happen at the store. Two days later, the same "customer service representative" gives us the almost identical, useless response as before. They don't even bother to accommodate us; instead, they tell us to pick up the display case ourselves and return the other one ourselves, or the delivery time is 6 weeks instead of the original 1 week because they're incompetent – so a total of 7 weeks. We will definitely recommend the store!!!

Disgusting service - the competition handles complaints much better. Last year, I ordered a wardrobe from Lutz for over €10,000. There were also complaints there, but their handling was much more customer-friendly and transparent – including fair compensation. About the process: • Delivery within 6 weeks was verbally promised. In fact, delivery didn't arrive until 13 weeks later. • One of the wardrobes was delivered incorrectly. • After repeated back and forth, I was informed that the correct piece of furniture would not arrive at the warehouse until week 35. If everything is correct with this delivery, the entire process will take a total of 24 weeks. I set a delivery deadline of Friday, August 29, 2025 (week 35), under threat of withdrawal. The company's response was ridiculous in my opinion: They objected to my deadline and again simply stated that the goods would arrive at the warehouse in week 35. However, I'm wondering what the problem is with actually delivering the goods on the Friday mentioned in week 35. I was promised a call back from Ms. Nicole Wiesemann (team leader?) several times regarding this case – but this never happened. This gives me the impression that they apparently want to avoid unpleasant phone calls. As compensation, I only receive a €100 voucher for my extra work. My workload due to the delay: • Emptying out old furniture, dismantling it, bringing it down to the basement, reassembling it, and putting it away • Emptying and dismantling it again as soon as the correct delivery arrives Conclusion: Completely unacceptable service for me – both in terms of communication and problem-solving. Out of three orders, the wrong furniture was delivered three times. The last time, three years ago, it was delivered damaged (no wonder, given the "packaging"). It took five months to get the correct item, and the incorrect items haven't been picked up to this day. I should have known better, but unfortunately, I ordered from there again. The wrong color was delivered again. The agreed delivery date, for which I took time off work, was not met. Now I'm waiting for an exchange again, which isn't scheduled for at least three weeks... The only bright spot: The friendly employee in logistics, in contrast to her colleague in customer service...

Addendum: After 6.5 months of complaints, my kitchen is finally finished... Unfortunately, I can only give it one star. The kitchen was planned, measured, and installed (a complete disaster; cabinets don't fit at the front or back). The countertop and one cabinet are missing. You pay €1,750 for the installation, and they don't even connect the water, even though you "paid" for it... The complaint is a complete disaster... the incomplete kitchen has been standing for 7 weeks. The complaints department only got in touch after 2 weeks. Another 3 weeks passed before someone came by. (A very nice man, he did his best and was just as speechless.) I was told someone would get in touch within 2 days because I had to choose a new countertop. That was 16 days ago. I was supposed to get a call back yesterday (after calling several times). Of course, there was no call again... Be smarter than me... We're talking about a kitchen costing almost 10,000 euros... you're welcome to pick it up again... it's not worth 1,000 euros as it says right now. Something can always go wrong. But you should be all the more careful to satisfy the customer afterward. Nothing happened here, and the kitchen has been standing for almost two months 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

If I could give negative stars, Höffner Furniture would be my first choice. I've never been so disappointed! I wanted to buy a kitchen, and since this would be my first kitchen, I had some ideas, but I would have liked professional advice. This is the wrong place for that... After we asked a kitchen consultant if he had time for us, and he said yes, we started talking to him a bit. He was consistently disinterested, never offered us any suggestions on how to design it well, and offered no advice at all. He was just rude and unfriendly, couldn't list the differences between various appliances, and couldn't give us exact prices or suggest alternatives. Then he put even more pressure on us, saying that we could only get it for €10,000 if we bought it today; tomorrow it would be more expensive. We were supposed to buy based on a pencil drawing, no consultation, no 3D, nothing... with the statement that we'd take his time away from other customers (the furniture store was empty, all the other consultants were free). We still made an appointment for the next day to plan in more detail with 3D. We thought it couldn't get any more unfriendly, oh yes it can! Anyone who treats customers like that doesn't belong in sales. I just wanted to find out about alternative appliances because he hadn't said anything at all, and he threw the kitchen log at me and said I should read it myself if I didn't like what he chose. I could really get so upset... in the end, it ended up being €23,000 for the same kitchen as the day before. But he only offered half the price today. According to his invoice, €13,500... I don't know where he learned to do math, but that's not half... and you can't sleep on it, because tomorrow it will obviously be more expensive again....

Stay away from buying a kitchen from Höffner Fürth! The worst furniture purchase I've ever experienced. The customer service is absolutely awful – unfriendly, disorganized, and almost impossible to reach. The installers were sloppy during assembly, the installation was poorly done, and they made numerous botched mistakes. The countertop was replaced three times(!) – each time with a new problem. Instead of a dream kitchen, we ended up with months of trouble. Even after all the chaos, there were still defects at the end – which is the only reason we luckily didn't have to pay the full price. How such a large furniture store can treat customers so amateurishly is beyond me. Never again Höffner – especially not in Fürth.

These include, for example, a faulty dishwasher front, the cooktop filter, other missing parts, and parts damaged during previous service appointments. The real kicker: During the initial installation, the installers dropped the refrigerator, leaving a huge dent on the side... we unfortunately only noticed this later because the installers tried to neatly hide the dent behind a strip with a rubber seal. Of course, no one thought it necessary to inform us. We were already wondering why the refrigerator was making such strange noises. The countertops are a real tragedy. According to the supplier (Schneider), these should also be installed 2-4 weeks after the initial kitchen installation. Instead of resolving the problem quickly, the blame is shifted internally between kitchen sales and customer service, often even onto Schneider, who are completely innocent of the situation. Something else that we think is completely unacceptable: We had planned our kitchen 1.5 years in advance (new build) and regularly kept our salesperson updated on which calendar week we needed the kitchen. He always gave us feedback that everything was going well and we would receive the kitchen on time. Two weeks before, we were a bit worried because no one had contacted us. Our salesperson had disappeared without a trace. He was neither reachable by phone nor had he responded to emails. After several calls to the hotline, a colleague of his was kind enough to take a look at the order. It turned out that the kitchen installation wasn't scheduled until the following month! As a result, we had to live without a kitchen for a month with our daughter.

I ordered two box spring beds from Höffner. After waiting for over three months, the delivery finally arrived on June 4, 2025 – but according to the installers, it was completely impossible to carry the beds up to the second floor. I was also incorrectly told on the phone that one bed consisted of two bed frames – which was not true. To avoid further delays, I issued a written release from Höffner of any liability if the beds had to be carried unpacked. Four weeks later, another assembly team arrived – and lo and behold: The beds were completely packed and carried upstairs and assembled without any problems. No damage, no unpacking necessary, no difficulties. The first team's assessment and the statement over the phone were therefore incorrect. This misinformation caused us to lose another four weeks, completely unnecessarily, since the beds were already there. Conclusion: Incorrect information, poor organization, no goodwill – very disappointing customer service.

Disappointing and discriminatory experience at Höffner I went to Höffner twice this week. - the first time, I was conspicuously observed by a cashier (mid-50s, glasses, overweight). - the second visit with my mother was even more unpleasant: condescending comments, eye rolling, and a disrespectful tone, as if I weren't on the same level. When she then chided me about a missing signature on my debit card, "In Germany, you sign on cards," even though she didn't check with others, it was clear: her behavior was clearly xenophobic. A person like that has no place in direct customer contact. Discrimination must no longer have a place – neither at Höffner nor anywhere else.

Kitchen consultations definitely have room for improvement. You have to drag everything out of the "salesperson," and if you ask questions, you're "laughed at." A little tip: get up every now and then and show the customer something, especially the appliances or the color options. My kitchen was drawn as a sketch, and then the price was calculated based on that, which was also very strange. After 20 minutes, I was asked if I wanted to buy the kitchen right away, and when I said no because I still needed to discuss it, the conversation was over. Buying a kitchen based on a sketch we briefly discussed!? I don't think anyone does that. I definitely could have saved myself the trip. I've now bought my kitchen from a competitor at a great price and with excellent advice.

I was there to have my kitchen planned. The lady at the kitchen planning information desk was rude when I told her I already had my measurements because I already had a plan from Ikea. She replied that I wouldn't find a kitchen there for Ikea prices. The gentleman who was supposed to plan the kitchen with me didn't seem very enthusiastic about my small budget (obviously, less commission) and didn't really offer any further advice regarding my idea (existing Ikea plans) as to what might be a better fit. In the end, I received comprehensive and friendly advice from Plana Küchen and bought my new kitchen there.

Bought a recliner chair with a footstool for €1,600. Nine weeks later, the delivery arrived with color defects. Exactly the same week of delivery, the same item was offered online, a combo at Höffner Online for €949 + €49 delivery. I reported the error to customer service and simultaneously questioned the online price. The customer service representative (unfriendly) said: "Tough luck, it's not your fault...it's like buying butter at a discount store...that's how local sales work...I don't need to have it again."

Actually, there's a large selection of very nice items. But delivery times are often extremely long, especially for furniture. Even when the delivery time for living room furniture like the Amarillo model was stated at the time of purchase as 12-14 weeks, a delay of at least another eight weeks was reported after the company itself had declared itself late. This makes you wonder if they're selling items that the company doesn't even own yet. This shouldn't be happening these days.

Despite numerous employees on site, not one of them showed any interest in us. In the bedding department, everyone was either busy with themselves or having a pleasant chat with their colleagues. If that's more important than serving a customer or asking if they need help, then this simply isn't the right furniture store for us. After the disappointing service in the bedding department, we didn't feel like visiting the other departments either. We then received very good service at another furniture store and found what we were looking for.

We've visited Höffner Furniture several times and found the store to be rather mediocre. The selection is okay, the service is okay, and the prices are okay. You can sometimes get some really good deals, but we've had a few problems with pickup or paying at the checkout. The computer system is completely outdated and frequently makes errors. Vouchers, discounts, etc., have always been incorrectly calculated or not calculated at all. Once, we had to wait an hour for them to issue the correct invoice, which is completely unacceptable. Then we waited 30 minutes in the pickup area for a picture (a light, easy-to-identify item). All the employees were very nice, though. Yeah, that's why only 3 stars.

I wanted to visit the Höffner store with my grandpa. We got to the entrance, and I wanted to borrow a wheelchair because I wasn't familiar with the layout of the furniture store. They required a disability card for the only wheelchair available. I told the employee that we didn't have the card with us and that he would take my car keys as a deposit instead. He still refused to accommodate us. We said our goodbyes and went to IKEA. One wheelchair isn't enough! This needs to be improved.

Don't do this to yourself! Absolutely abysmal service from this furniture store. About my story: I ordered garden furniture, which was supposed to finally be delivered after a seven-week wait. The day arrived, the truck arrived. Then the disappointment hit: the installer got out with the EC device in his hand and said I had a table and a chair with me. My first question was, "Where is the corner bench?" The installer said, "It'll probably come later!" I then called customer service, who simply replied, "Yes, the corner bench isn't coming today and won't be coming anytime soon; it's no longer available!" When I asked how that could be, since I had a purchase agreement, all I got was, "Yes, I'm sorry, you should have been contacted this morning..." I wasn't! But here's the thing: After a seven-week wait, they seriously wanted to inform me on the day of delivery that the product they wanted was no longer available!? Another good comment was: "You can now consider whether you want to keep the table and chair...." No suggestions for solutions, no "I'll see what we can do..."...nothing! I should have just listened to the many bad experiences my friends had with Höffner. Wasted vacation day, deposit was sitting with Höffner for almost two months, could have been invested better... If I could, I would give even fewer stars.

I ordered two box spring beds (each 120x200cm) and the packaging contained a bed box (each 2 x 60x200 cm). When the fitters arrived, they said they couldn't carry the beds up the spiral staircase – even though the dimensions would have been perfectly suitable if they had been unpacked on the ground floor – but they refused "due to insurance coverage." I even offered to accept responsibility in writing – but that was also rejected. The impression was unfortunately clear: The fitters simply didn't feel like working and were looking for the first excuse to leave quickly. Customer service looks different. The beds were simply taken away again – without a solution, without consultation. For a furniture store of this size, this is absolutely poor customer service. Instead of help, only excuses. This is not how I imagine delivery or assembly. Very disappointing, Höffner! I've bought a lot from Höffner over the years – probably €25,000 in total. But after this experience, I'm finally done with it. Something different every time, it's enough. I even have photos of how they installed my wardrobe, dirtying all my walls, and installing them with the wrong dimensions. Buy somewhere else, save your money. Quality isn't good at Höffner either. You read the reviews from me or other customers and think, oh, it's probably an isolated case, but no, unfortunately that's not the case. I've heard from many of my friends that they also bought from Höffner and always had problems.

In fact, I waited 15 weeks. 12, 13, 14 weeks passed without any real information or apology – just plain ignorance. Then, suddenly, I was given a delivery date in the 15th week – as if that were completely normal. I informed customer service that I work and couldn't be home until after 5:00 PM. The response was unbelievable: "We don't care, you have to be home by 12:00 PM." No consideration, no respect, no customer service – nothing! This company treats its customers as if they don't care at all. Stay away from this store. If you want to avoid hassle, frustration, and disrespect, you should definitely not order from here.

Honestly, I wouldn't even give it one star, but you have to. My husband ordered chops and rice. Honestly, there was only salt in it. It was so salty we couldn't even eat it. Tomorrow I'll come over and bring them the food they gave my husband. Let's see if they like it. I swear, dad, if I had thrown that money out the window, I'd be happier. A bad purchase ever.

Good spot for a pleasant lunch - quiet, despite of being next to a big shopping area, parking area can be used. Very good service and good food quality, prices were accordingly. Also, everything was sparkling clean. Overall a good option to keep in mind 👍
