Unfortunately, the vegetarian schnitzel was sold out. There were no alternatives. They should work on that. Adults can also order a child's portion, which isn't available everywhere. We've been here several times, as we always attend the St. Michael's Church Fair. Dogs are also allowed. We'd love to come back.

The food was rather average overall – the salad seemed pretty run-of-the-mill and had to be returned once, but it was easily replaced. The drink was delicious. I had to wait a bit longer to pay. The value for money is rather mediocre. Overall, it's okay, but nothing special.

We went for brunch on a Sunday. There weren't many people there. Nevertheless, the buffet was fully stocked and nothing was missing. It was constantly being refilled. The staff was super friendly and prompt. We've been to ALEX in Leipzig and Dresden and have never been disappointed. Keep up the good work.

My husband and I ate at Alex's today – it was really busy, as expected, but we were lucky enough to be served by Gurur. What a lovely person! ❤️ Despite the full house, she was consistently friendly, attentive, and super personable. She literally ran from table to table, but still took time for each guest and made us feel welcome. All of our requests were fulfilled with a smile, and you could tell she puts her heart and soul into her job. Thank you for the wonderful evening☺️

The table was dirty, the waiter took forever to serve us, there was no menu at the table, and the waiter wanted to take our order beforehand. The chef was called out because he didn't understand another guest's order. For €17 for pasta, I expect something different!

Service? Somewhere between forgetful, unmotivated, and rude. We've been to ALEX Fürth several times, but one should be cautious about hoping for improvement. This time, there were two of us at first, then four – and unfortunately, it was another test of patience. We ordered drinks – simple, of course, nothing fancy. Only: My non-alcoholic cola wheat beer... didn't arrive. Everyone else had already had their drinks, even the person who had ordered later. I waited and waited – and eventually asked. The waitress replied: "Oh, it's coming right away – we'll have it in ten minutes." Result: Nothing. Later, the explanation: "Oops, forgot to let me know that the non-alcoholic wheat beer was out." Thanks for nothing – a quick "Sorry" and a warning BEFORE would have been nice. So, my mood – understandably – was at rock bottom. The meal continued in a similar vein. A waitress who looked like she'd dragged herself backward to work – motivation like a dead battery. She brought our food, and she immediately asked me to take the plates myself. Seriously? Okay, I did. It was just a shame: My friend's food ended up on my plate – it was just carried out like that. Organization is different. My burger was... lukewarm. Not cold, not hot. Just the right amount of warmth that made you realize it had been sitting around for a while. But no matter – expectations were already low at that point. After dinner, we wanted dessert. Only, no one came to clear the table. We sat there, surrounded by empty dishes, and waited. Eventually, dessert arrived – simply slapped onto the full table. I politely pointed out that maybe they could clear it first. Reaction? An annoyed look, a rude tone – something along the lines of: What more do you want? By the way, my friend's dessert also looked like an accident. Visually, it was truly abysmal. It tasted okay, but it wasn't very nice. And last but not least: The bill still included the non-alcoholic cola wheat beer that I never got. I had to point that out myself. No "sorry," no "oh, we should have seen that"—it was simply removed without comment. Conclusion: The food was okay, the service ranged from sloppy to condescending. If you value attentiveness, friendliness, or even a hint of structure, this is the wrong place. You can go—but you really don't have to.

Dirty floors, dust and grime on the seats. It's really not nice anymore. I've been to Alex many times, but it's deteriorated rapidly. The breakfast is good, but I prefer to eat in a clean, pleasant environment. Who knows what the kitchen looks like there when the dining room is already so dirty (when I'm the first guests to arrive in the morning). And I'm not exaggerating! For me, this was my last visit to Alex Fürth.

The food was good, with plenty of choice. But the price was absolutely outrageous. I went there with my dad on Father's Day, and the price increase due to a holiday was simply outrageous. €53 for a breakfast with coffee and hot chocolate. That was our last visit...

The burger was barely edible, the patty was very hard, as was the bun. I would have thought that, given the complaint and the fact that I only ate a quarter of the burger, the espresso I ordered would be served free of charge.

A very, very long time. I stood outside for over 40 minutes waiting for a Coke, even though there weren't many customers. I wanted to get it myself, and they said NO! I'll bring it to you. I didn't order anything else except a Coca-Cola... Very bad, in my opinion! 35-40 minutes

Rude Service – Disappointing Experience I was there as a companion when my friend asked the waitress if they had table water. The answer was a resounding "yes." Shortly afterward, the waitress brought a bottle of water to the table. When my friend said she actually meant a small bottle of table water, she was told that there was no such thing. This was confusing, because the menu explicitly states that table water is available – including for spritzers. Instead of clarifying the situation in a friendly manner, the waitress became very loud and inappropriately aggressive. It seemed as if she felt personally attacked, even though the question was asked in a completely matter-of-fact manner. When my friend explained that they could have asked her before simply opening a bottle, the situation escalated further. The waitress claimed they didn't have table water, saying she had never heard of it – and her demeanor became increasingly unfriendly, almost intimidating. I was shocked by this tone and behavior. It wasn't the first time we'd been here, but it will definitely be the last. I will also file a formal complaint and won't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Friendly service definitely doesn't look like that.

Unfriendly Service and Incorrect Information When I asked if they had bottled water, the waitress – a blonde woman – replied "yes." When she came to the table with a bottle of water, I said I actually wanted a small bottled water. She then said they didn't have that. However, the menu explicitly states that they offer bottled water and even makes spritzers with it. The waitress then became very loud and seemed aggressive, presumably feeling personally attacked. I explained to her that it would have been nice to ask me if I was okay with the bottled water before opening it. Her reaction was that there was no such thing as bottled water and that she had never heard of it. She became increasingly unfriendly, almost as if she wanted to shout at us. I find the tone here extremely rude. It was my second visit – and definitely my last. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone, as I found the service very unfriendly.

The service is a disaster. The waiting time until you are served or receive your drinks is really bad. We have been here many times and there is absolutely no improvement in sight! Four tables were just served first, all of which came after us. The waitress prefers to chat with random guests and then go back inside.

We had met the girls for a nice evening but unfortunately no one served us after 15 minutes even though the shop was empty and the waitress obviously greeted us as we went in. I was really disappointed with my visit. From the start, the service was extremely unfriendly and seemed annoyed. When I politely asked for an ashtray, I was given a curt reply: “Only if you say please.” I think it goes without saying that there is respectful interaction in the catering industry - in both directions. The food is very tasty. The homemade drinks are great. However, it's a shame that no one shows up after serving, so you're left high and dry and have to wait forever for the bill.

We actually wanted to end my daughter's birthday. We were already used to the service taking a little longer, but since yesterday we haven't been going there anymore. The coconut kiss looked more like a raspberry smoothie. When I asked, I was told that this was the kokonutkiss. The map is then a bit misleading with the pictures. The female waitress also looked a bit annoyed. Even before I asked, the ginger chips were missing from the pastrami sandwich. Instead, fries were served with it. But what made us leave were the mice under the table. When I told this to a waitress, she didn't seem too surprised. We always enjoyed going to Alex, even if it sometimes took a while to get served. But the restaurant is now in great need of renovation and a thorough cleaning wouldn't hurt either. We won't go there anymore.

I was at Alex Flammkuchen today, it arrived cold, so I told the waiter and it was warmed up too. Despite all this, it came warmed up and the goods on it were not fresh and inedible. After the manager came and I complained again, the argument was just like that. There was no accomodation, no apology, a pity.

15 minutes and no waitress was interested in the new guest

Waren als Familie 8 Personen zum Brunchen. Kinder unter 6 Jahren kostenlos, toll! Die Auswahl zum Frühstück war ausreichend und vielfältig. Kaffee und Tee sollte eigentlich im Preis mit dabei sein. Warmes Essen nicht so besonderes, leider. Anregung: Kennzeichnung der Angebote und Gerichte. Damit man auch weis welche Salate z.b. in den Behältern sind. Heute war es sehr voll und dafür zu wenig Personal, mussten bei Nachbestellung lange warten. Tische wurden nicht zeitnah abgeräumt. Dem Personal kann man keinen Vorwurf machen, haben das mögliche gemacht und waren sehr nett.

We were a group of 8 people and dropped by spontaneously on a Saturday evening. The waitress advised us to wait a few minutes as a table would soon become available (they had already paid). After the eight of us waited for over 15 minutes and the waitress didn't notice the large table, we took the initiative and sat down there (of course we asked). The drinks tasted good. We had ordered some drinks several times, unfortunately we noticed that the quantity and intensity were different in each case 🤔 The desserts also tasted good and were fresh, although Kaiserschmarrn is served with just one scoop of vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately for us it was absolutely dry and we would have liked applesauce or plum jam with it. Still, it was a nice evening

Like every year, I ended my birthday at Alex...probably for the last time. Guys, what exactly are you thinking about making a Cuba Libre with SPARKLING WATER instead of Cola? Sorry, but that just doesn't work at all. Food great, conditions great, but cocktails really bad.

It is a very nice and cozy restaurant with a very nice atmosphere a good and varied menu. There are many good and tasty dishes for every taste. The service is very good.

We didn't get any wine, even though we were 17, because according to the waitress, wine is from -“18”. We only got a drink after eating. The tarte flambée was too salty. Half the bowl of the sweet potato fries was empty. The tomatoes and cucumbers in the salad were not chopped. There were pits in the cherries. Straws were missing. 1 meal came 15 minutes after the others. The toilets were dirty and the soap was empty. The service was unfriendly. Music was way too loud, seats were uncomfortable. Clearance took about half an hour. Change was wrong. Never again baba, I swear never again

I ordered white chocolate, everything was fine but there was a black piece in the cup. I had no idea what it was but it was disgusting!!!!!!

Unfortunately it was not served (12/28/24, 8:00 p.m.). The service is getting worse and worse. Me and my wife waited 20 minutes. The waitress definitely noticed us, but didn't even clear the previous guests' dishes. Instead, she preferred to empty tables without guests and in the meantime take new orders from tables that had already been served. It wasn't particularly crowded. Orders were taken from 2 previously unserved guests while we were there and they were even served food and drinks before we left. The waitress noticed our departure but didn't apologize. It's a shame, most people actually enjoy coming.

Disappointing. You are placed at a sticky table on which the previous person's dishes are still located - which, by the way, are not cleared away during the course of the evening. The fact that the furnishings are shabby and the chair you sit on is rather wobbly is almost irrelevant. After 20 minutes you have service at the table after you have searched for it in the restaurant and actively drawn attention to yourself. Then another 1 1/2 hours pass until the last person has received their drink! At first a mule is forgotten, but hey, you only had to remind the service twice. And the waiting time was only 40 minutes, the wheat beer from the other guest at the table took a whole 1 1/2 hours and 3 reminders. That in itself is embarrassing, but it should also be noted that some glasses were very dirty and both cutlery and napkins were missing from the dishes - when I was forced to help myself, there was only a dirty look from the waitress then suddenly became very attentive.

We sat for over 25 minutes because there was no service, we made ourselves noticed even though we had a table right in front of the bar... everyone had to walk right past us... then we were served in a semi-friendly manner She explained to us that it wasn't her area, but she could now record what we wanted...... 🤔 The door opened and the smell of vomit hit us. .. disgusting after I saw where this smell came from I said I'd let you know because this smell is really not pleasant, both of us at the table next to us who had also smelled it but only said how they left, bravely saying that a guest has to say this ..... . Then I knew why the cocktail I got was water with a slight garnish of cloudy 🍍 juice. .. . Of course, let him go back because putting a paying guest in something like that is more than an impertinence. The next one that came was graphic and only had alcohol... this bar isn't worth a second visit... Unfortunately I didn't have enough battery left or I would have photographed all of this... But there were more than enough witnesses independent of me...

Worst café there is for me, the service is unfriendly and waiting times are from another star, the food quality is poor and the hygiene from the dirty cutlery, plates don't work at all, the mouse 🐭 sitting in the corner is crazy. After asking the staff, they told us it's not that bad .

The breakfast buffet at Alex is really recommended. The selection is large and offers something for every taste. I particularly liked the fresh rolls and croissants. But there is also no shortage of warm dishes. Scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages are always included. The price-performance ratio is also very good. You can help yourself to the buffet all morning long and always find what you're looking for. The staff is friendly and attentive. All in all, a successful start to the day.

I sat with my girlfriend for 15 minutes, we first waited a long time until we could order and then we had to wait another 15 minutes until we could order food. Today for my birthday🎉 I wanted to do something special with my loved ones, so we went for brunch. The welcome was very warm and the service staff was very friendly. We were their after-Kirchweih, great ambience, food very tasty, kitchen until 1 a.m. (Saturday), service friendly, cocktails outstanding, prices normal👍 The only negative thing was the toilet, but the restaurant can't help that if Kirchweih guests can't behave. I'll go have breakfast here 👌

Cafe Alex in Fürth is truly a gem! The ambience, the service and, above all, the quality of the food and drinks are excellent. It's definitely a place you'll want to visit again and again.
