I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. When I first entered with my pregnant wife, I was holding a bottle of water and a coffee from outside. The owner saw both and welcomed us warmly, even telling us to sit wherever we liked. Her colleague kindly took our order, and we were later served a cappuccino for my wife. Shortly after, the owner politely asked me to move the water bottle to make space for the dishes, which I understood. She also mentioned, “You are in a German restaurant,” which seemed like a proud comment about the place, and I respected that. However, five minutes later, while we were eating, she came back and suddenly asked me to remove the external coffee. I was surprised because she had clearly seen it when we first arrived and said nothing. I calmly told her there was only one sip left, and I’d finish it and remove it immediately. She agreed. But not even five seconds later, while I still had food in my mouth, her husband approached aggressively, raising his voice and saying, “Why don’t you listen to my wife? She told you twice!” This was untrue—she had only mentioned it once, and the first time was simply a proud comment about the restaurant being German. His tone and behavior were uncalled for and clearly upset my pregnant wife. The entire situation escalated unnecessarily and made us feel very uncomfortable. It felt like we were being treated with arrogance and even a hint of discrimination. I told him I respected their rules, but this could’ve been handled calmly from the beginning. Sadly, what could have been a pleasant experience turned into a stressful one because of poor communication and disrespectful behavior. Responses to the owner reply: With all due respect, I wasn’t going to mention this, but since you brought up “witnesses,” I need to clarify what actually happened: A few minutes after the incident, some customers — along with the owner — were pointing at us, laughing, and talking about us. That kind of behavior is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, especially in a restaurant setting. My pregnant wife felt deeply uncomfortable and unwelcome. I stayed calm and respectful the entire time. You claim I was asked three times — that is not true. The first time was just a vague statement: “This is a German restaurant,” which didn’t clearly explain the rule. The second time, I politely responded that I had one sip left and would remove the coffee right after, and you said “okay.” Seconds later, your husband approached and started raising his voice at me while I had food in my mouth, which was completely unnecessary and confrontational. I respected your place and your rules, but I expected the same respect in return. Instead, we were treated with arrogance, hostility, and later mocked by both staff and nearby customers.

The place is beautiful. The waffle is 10/10, enough for two people. The Colombian coffee is excellent, honestly 8/10. But it's not cheap.

We went to the Waffle House for breakfast this morning. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. We highly recommend it. We'd love to come back on our next vacation.

We decided to have a sweet snack, even though it was a little heavy. 😁🙈 Orders: Waffles: Of course, waffles come in all shapes and sizes. We ordered them based on the staff's advice. I think they're made with caramel. They're delicious, and the way they're made is unique. They come sliced. 👌 9/10 Coffee ☕ (black and espresso): Excellent. 9/10 Of course, don't be fooled by the name. The restaurant offers a variety of international dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast menu has more varieties of eggs than the one we had for breakfast. He was just as impressed as I was, and we both left completely content. Also, Friendly staff, a lovely vibe, and a menu that caters brilliantly to all tastes—this place is an absolute winner. What a great place! Run by two enthusiastic people who really enjoy their work, it shows. Friendly and thoughtful. The hot chocolate was delicious and so was the food. We had a waffle with amarena cherries and an avocado toast. Definitely go for a meal if you are in Garmisch Partenkirchen!

The Waffle House was recommended to me. After successfully shopping, I went looking for the Waffle House. The staff is incredibly friendly! The menu was filled with very interesting dishes. Choosing wasn't easy, but I ordered a waffle with fresh strawberries and homemade strawberry sauce. What can I say?! Spectacular. The waffle wasn't so incredibly sweet. The sauce was indeed exceptional, and the staff... was still extremely friendly. The prices are tied to the quality of the food and are therefore absolutely realistic. I recommend the Waffle House 100%. There's not much to say about the dining room. Kind of boring. White walls and a few tables. It was clean, but somehow not cozy. Hence, 4 stars for the ambiance.

The restaurant is always crowded, I think, and its seating is a bit overlapping. We, as Arabs, don't find this situation suitable unless you find outdoor seating. It's best to make a reservation. Their food is very delicious, especially the omelette and avocado bread. Their price is a bit expensive.

My family of four ordered our own meals and drinks, everything was quite expensive including the drinks. If you’re okay with spending a little money for waffle meals it is good though. A great waffle house that offers far more than just delicious waffles. 😊 The menu is extensive and also offers vegan and gluten-free waffle alternatives. Special requests are easily accommodated. Peaceful atmosphere and great service. We only got to try the waffles, but I'm convinced that both the breakfast offerings and hot dishes like a Philly cheesesteak are prepared with similar love. But back to the delicious waffles, this waffle house absolutely lives up to its name 😋

We spontaneously sat under the trees in the beautiful garden. The service was super friendly and our (vegan) avocado bread was very tasty. For dessert, slightly modified from the menu, there was the vegan version of a pulled waffle with fruit and vegan ice cream...all highly recommended.

We have been here a 3+ times and we have always had outstanding service and food. We absolutely love the Egg Benedict’s. We thought we loved the Apple waffle but once we tried the Cherry Waffle, we were in HEAVEN 🍒 🧇 🍎 I want to come back and try every waffle they have available. They also have delicious mimosas, coffee and much more! Best breakfast spot with a cute patio, amazing food, superior staff. Highly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable experience.

Our family ALWAYS come here when in Garmisch. It’s an absolute must; food, ambiance, service are always first class! They have more than waffles (which of course are incredible). A full lunch menu as well. Highly recommend making a reservation as it can get crowded on weekends. There is outdoor garden seating when the weather permits. Kid friendly too. You can’t go wrong with the Waffle House and this time we had Peter as our server and he was great as always!

The best Eggs Benedict and house special of Eggs Wafflehouse (fried chicken instead of ham), I have ever eaten in my life. Truly the best place to eat in Garmisch. You will not leave hungry, and you will be very well taken care of by the staff. We will be eating here much more on our return trip to Garmisch. They also offer an English menu and are more than willing to help order.

The flavors were very good! However, I was a bit surprised by the pricing, as a small dish and small cappuccino came to over 20 euros, which felt a bit high compared to what I'd seen on Google. It might be helpful to update the prices online so guests know what to expect, probably it will come soon... Overall, though, the quality was good! Suggestion: offering a few more options in the brunch menu with different price ranges could make it even more appealing for visitors.

If I could sing a song here, I would have. We have been coming to Garmisch in the fall for three years now and a visit to the Waffle House is always a must. It's so simple, but still unusual and special because you have excellent service, very friendly staff, meg's delicious concept, which consists of a few ingredients and dishes, but still offers a suitable selection for everyone. Eating a waffle with spinach, sheep's cheese and olives under these pear trees on a sunny autumn day and drinking the best cappuccino in all of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is as wonderful as visiting this God-blessed land yourself. Thank you for this concept. Thank you for the opportunity to have a real little experience not only in the mountains but also in the city.

Way too expensive. Waffles are ok, but they're just waffles. And paying between 14-20 euros for a waffle with a little something around it is tough. The staff was pushy and wanted to prepare for the end of the day at 4 p.m. (an hour before closing time). Very unpleasant as a customer.

Best meal so far for our trip in Germany. We ordered raspberry waffle and poached egg fried chicken muffin. They were amazingly delicious, light, and fresh! I came on a recommendation at the beginning of my vacation and ate the waffle pancakes. The prices made me swallow for a moment but the waffle was a taste explosion. Coffee & Hopfala rounded off the visit. I had a very nice service person. Ambience wasn't my thing but I felt very comfortable.

If you don't like waffles, you will like them... incredible creations sweet or savory. Locally centrally located with beautiful old fruit trees and the charm of the over 200 year old house inside. Catering through incredibly friendly, polite and prompt conditions. And then this pistachio waffle... worth every cent... good thing I don't have anything like that at home... or damn, I want one here too... I would eat waffles every day🤣

The food was great and the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate my son’s food allergy- they made a special waffle for my son- complete with vegan ice cream and whipped cream ! He couldn’t have been happier. The rest of us loved our food as well :)

Lovely place to grab some brunch. The food is quite delicious and would recommend any of the poached eggs. The staff were very friendly and nice. The seating area in the garden is really comfortable and relaxing during the summer. The food takes a while to arrive (we had to wait close to 30-35 mins) but it was worth the wait.

My only complaint is the music. Food was phenomenal. A little over priced for the portions that we received however they advertised all organic eggs and ingredients. Both of us got the American breakfast which came with waffles, eggs, bacon, and toast. The maple syrup was delicious, and the jelly marmalade was also super sweet. Great little breakfast spot, would recommend. Staff spoke English.

To be honest, I was a bit put off at first because I saw the prices on the menu - they are quite high. But the quality and attention to detail were convincing and I would come here again at any time and order the avocado bread again. It was incredibly delicious. The aioli spread went perfectly with the creamy avocado and the fried eggs were perfect too. Crispy on the outside and still liquid on the inside. Plus, the pickle salad that came with it was the best salad I've ever had. The dressing was very good, the pickled silver onions went perfectly with it and even the cherry tomatoes were peeled and thus absorbed the flavor of the dressing. The espresso was also very good and creamy and was served with a little water.
