Hiro Sakao in Fürth

Everything was great, I'd come back anytime! Maybe move the tables a little further apart from the neighbors.

My favorite sushi place. It is always a pleasure to visit Hiro Sakao. The food is amazing and the drinks too. We ordered the Lachs Carpaccio, Ebisu and Momo. What I would like to suggest as a change is the sitting situation. Some tables are way too close to the other one… that can make the experience a bit awkward for the client.

Delicious, would go back. A bit crowded because it's very busy.

I've eaten ramen ten times in various shops, and it was always fresh and delicious, but in this shop, it tasted like Lucifer was whipping me with a king's chain. Every sip of the soup, every bite of the chicken, was a battle with myself. The taste of the chicken was so peculiar that the animal must have suffered for years. It's a real shame, otherwise, itadakimasu, sayonara mamacita.

Ramen was catastrophic there was an eyelash in it and the chicken meat came personally from hell and killed my taste buds

A very interesting selection of food. Unfortunately, there's not much sushi to choose from, but otherwise the food is very plentiful. It's very busy, even on a Sunday evening, but you can always find a spot for a small group (4 people). Perhaps they'll expand it so that they'll also offer the option of reserving a table online. Worth a visit.

I can't understand the bad reviews after my visit yesterday! We stopped by spontaneously because we were really craving sushi. Location 4.5/5: The location wasn't the prettiest, but the restaurant's interior was even more so. The dim lighting and dark furniture create a pleasant atmosphere. The restrooms are super clean and well-maintained, the tables are wiped, and the distance between the people sitting next to you is also great. The noise level rose over the course of the evening as more and more guests arrived, but we had a good conversation and left after about 1.5 hours, which is perfectly sufficient for dinner. ☺️ Service 5/5: Top-notch service! They give you time to browse the menu in peace. They give you mung beans on the house beforehand, and if you have any questions about the menu, the waiters are quick to answer them and explain everything in detail! Food 5/5: The menu has a lot to offer, and if you love sushi, you'll get your money's worth here. The appetizers are a bit of fusion cuisine and taste wonderful! We ordered four types of sushi, and it's truly some of the best sushi in the region! The salmon is as soft as butter, the sushi rice is perfectly cooked, the chicken is fresh, and the egg is well-prepared. I've rarely eaten such good sushi. Amazing!!! 😍 Price 4/5: The prices are a bit higher than at some Asian restaurants, but it's worth it! €37 for two 8-piece sushi sets, one nigiri, an appetizer, and a drink is perfectly reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients!

I've known Hiro Sakao for years. I'm very satisfied. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was another great evening. We'll definitely be back.

At first it looks like a fast food joint because of the simple decor, but the food is delicious and the portions are large, which justifies the price. The young staff is very friendly and quick.

I paid €27 for gyoza and fried noodles, which was a real disappointment for the price. The noodles simply tasted of oil, and there were more soy sprouts than noodles. The roast duck was also rock hard, and you couldn't even bite into it...

Doitsu teki da to omoimasu. Nihon e nimai itta ne. Okinawa kara ....Nihon no ichiban higashi no eki made. We Franconians know our way around Schäuferla; we should also offer Japanese guests in Kyoto or Hakodate only the best German food. Otherwise, we'd be better off staying at home commercially and competing with the Dorfwirtschaft. Can I pass a more "devastating verdict" on this place? I hope not. The prices seem to be there to make you feel better. What's with this green side salad that doesn't go with it at all?! All that's missing is feta.... Dear Füadda, in this environment by the large shopping parking lot... if you like it there anyway.... So: "It's your fault," just kidding. I can't handle this cheap concept. The service was at least decent and friendly and...doitsu teki. It's not my fault. It's just easier this way. Adjustments. Orders/deliveries took a long time.

In my opinion, the best sushi restaurant in the metropolitan area. There are a few but very tasty vegetarian options. My favorites: Haruna and Natsumi. The main courses are also very tasty.

Love this sushi place!! For me personally, it's some of the best sushi in Nuremberg and the surrounding area! Top-notch taste and quality! ❤️ I usually pick up my food and rarely eat in, as the restaurant is unfortunately often very noisy due to the large number of customers.

Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. The waitress and the reservationist seemed very annoyed and generally extremely unpleasant. You felt rather unwelcome. The food was okay, but nothing special—overall, it unfortunately couldn't make up for the negative impression created by the service.

Hiro Sakao is simply the best sushi restaurant I've ever been to. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is incredibly pleasant, and the service and staff are very attentive, friendly, and fun. It's a wonderful experience every time.

Food was good and leaves little room for bad criticism. Unfortunately, the operation was very lackluster and was also quite inflexible and difficult to understand. The ambience is more reminiscent of an insurance canteen than a Japanese restaurant.

Wir wollten am 04.05.2025 im Hiro Sakao etwas essen. Das Hiro war für mich jahrelang DIE erste Adresse für Sushi. Wir kamen um 19:30 Uhr an und es waren viele Tische frei. Wir bekamen auch sofort die Karte und den Sprossensalat. Ab dann kam niemand mehr an unseren Tisch! Wir warteten 20 Minuten, dann riss mir die Geduld, denn auf Winken reagierte niemand vom Service. Ich stand auf und stellte mich mitten ins Restaurant und hob die Arme. Die Bedienung war aber mit den Köchen so in Gespräche vertieft, dass nichts mitbekommen hat. Auch die Köche reagierten nicht. So einen schlechten Service habe ich noch nie erlebt! Immerhin sind Sushi und Cocktails im Hiro teurer als anders wo! Sollte der Service auch besser sein. Für uns war es das letzte Mal. Schade Hiro! Deine Glanzzeit ist definitiv abgelaufen! PS: 5 Minuten weiter in der Schwabacher Str. Ist das Samurai! Wir wurden dort sofort bedient. Das Sushi war lecker und größer für weniger Geld. Die Bedienung war top!

Service was fast and efficient. 2 starters were top. Sushi plate was a bit hit and miss... Sushi wrapped tuna tasted good but the tuna should have been cut thinner. Maybe try it and see for yourself.

The sushi still tastes best at Hiro Sakao. Despite many new sushi restaurants now. Service friendly and quick. Only the tables are sometimes quite close to each other, so a star deduction for ambience.

Definitely worth a visit and will be a place to try over and over again! The food is on point, sit back and enjoy watching the chefs prepare the sushi rolls and taste a great combination at the end… varsity is wide and interesting and would definitely tease your senses… the staff is very friendly and great with timing there service without being pushy… one comment though! Slicing the rolls needs to be more even 🙈

Lunch bento with duck. Haven't been here for a year. Duck was tough and the three pieces of sushi were cut very narrowly and fell apart. We knew it differently/better here. Maybe under new management? Could have been a bad day.

It was the first time I had been to Hirosakao in Fürth for a long time. It used to be quite expensive but now the prices are absolutely exorbitant! For example, charging almost 5 euros for a simple cappuccino is really outrageous. Furthermore, the ambience is not nice at all. We were first seated at a table where we almost sat on the laps of the people sitting next to us because everything is so tightly packed. Having a private conversation like that unthinkable. When another table became available, we moved. The service is also very impersonal. There are now much nicer, significantly better priced other Asian restaurants with a high quality of food selection!

Food was great, very tasty. Service was very nice, but something was forgotten twice. Ambiance was nice.

For Valentine's Day, it's probably better to go somewhere else because tables intended for groups have been restructured to 4x2, which means there's hardly any space and 3 strange couples at the table. Due to the number of couples, the service is of course reduced accordingly. Otherwise good sushi but for a price that is too high in my opinion.

February 2025: Very tasty sushi and a very large selection. Open counter, you can watch it being prepared, great! Super coordinated and friendly service. We dined there on Valentine's Day with a reservation. The whole room was TOTALLY full of tables. People constantly coming and going. It felt like you were at the main train station... There wasn't even a hand's width of space between the tables. Not very pleasant! It's a shame that every square centimeter seems to have been used to generate sales... We then sat down at the bar. Food was delicious ☺️ As long as it's not a celebratory day, I'll happily go there again! ❤️

I was there for the first time on Valentine's Day and I was absolutely thrilled 🥰 Even though it was full house and we even stood in the queue in front of the door (despite a reservation), the staff was very nice and you still felt welcome and well served. Prices are appropriate for the quality. I would go there again at any time to treat myself to something great.

Unlikely, full. Mass processing table to table is not comfortable. It's very loud, a shame. We didn't really feel very comfortable. It should be noted that table water is basically a carafe of tap water for seven euros and on the bill, instead of the coffee ordered, there was a cappuccino for €4.90.

I would like to give you some feedback on your “Natsumi” role. Unfortunately, I noticed that the price of the roll has increased but the quantity has decreased. The roll used to be very thick and filling, but now it's just small pieces so I can hardly enjoy it. I would really appreciate it if you could fill the roll a little thicker again. This would greatly improve my dining experience and I would like to visit your place more often.

The food is simply delicious. Large selection of food. Always tastes perfect. The large restaurant is always full to capacity, so be sure to make a reservation. Rather unsuitable for a quiet and cozy evening out for dinner. The volume in the restaurant is correspondingly high. Parking is huge, but when it's busy you still have to allow time. Overall great 👍

Very good sushi, unfortunately very overpriced, especially the juice spritzers. Unfortunately my vegetarian curry contained chicken. There doesn't seem to be any particular attention paid to this.

Food took forever to arrive. I got my food before my girlfriend and she had to wait another 10 minutes. Food tasted okay. Something was billed incorrectly and then the lady ran after us again and stopped us from leaving the farm because of €2 that still had to be paid. That was very unnecessary. But the atmosphere is very nice.

The food here is really, really good and the service is good. Nevertheless, unfortunately a star deducted because of the really high prices. I'm really sorry about that, but I really don't see it in proportion. Nevertheless, I can still recommend the restaurant.

The sushi is undoubtedly very tasty and beautifully prepared. Every time I've eaten at a Hiro Sakao it tastes very good. Service very nice and accommodating. The restaurant is very nicely designed, but it does have a bit of a cafeteria vibe that I personally don't like.

Man sitzt ganz gut im Freien, jedoch ist die 'Einrichtung bewußt preiswert 'gestaltet'. Der Service ist nett, jedoch kam das Hauptgericht früher als wir mit der Vorspeise fertig waren, daß sollte eher nicht passieren! Wir wählten als Wein-Begleitung einen Lugana (der stolze 9,30€/ Glas kostete) und der vermutlich PRO FLASCHE WENIGER als den GLASPREIS KOSTET, was in dieser Konstellation schon eher dreist ist, da der Wein wirklich viel zu einfach schmeckte und war! Man sollte Lokale mit dieser Gewinnmaximierung NICHT ERNEUT BESUCHEN! Die Speisen waren eher gut, aber nicht 'outstanding', wobei die Vorspeise, die wir uns teilten: Moriwase Tempura, ausgesprochen reichhaltig war, dafür die Kazumi Hosomaki wirklich nicht besonders, im Sinne von gut, schmeckten. Daher: Bedingt empfehlenswert, jedoch haben wir schon, bei kleinerem Tarif, deutlich besser gegessen und getrunken!

Lunch experience: Now completely overpriced - food quality is still top. I now think that charging 16.90 for the salad with sashimi is sporty. But charging 3.60 for an extra portion of salad dressing is outrageous. Even a glass of “Homestyle Originals” lemonade for 8.90 is clearly beyond the scope here. You're still sitting in Fürth in the industrial area/shopping center and not on the Côte d'Azur :)
