Chilli's Fürth Mexican Restaurant y Bar in Fürth

The food was delicious, the service was exceptionally good. We'd love to come back.

I've been going to Chilli's in Fürth since it opened in 1996 and have always enjoyed my visits. The food was delicious, as always, and the initial service at our table was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, this time an incident significantly marred our visit. A drink was served incorrectly and sent back – these things happen, absolutely no problem. However, the correct drink was then forgotten for quite some time. After about 15 minutes, when we tried to get their attention, we had to wave very emphatically. The employee seemed to feel threatened by this and wouldn't listen when I simply explained that the drink had probably been lost in the shuffle. I wanted to clarify the situation and speak to the manager. Unfortunately, he arrived already assuming we had assaulted his colleague, without even asking what had actually happened. As a result, the conversation was not productive. The sad thing is that I had just been telling my friends how polite and kind he usually is. In the end, we were informed – without explanation – that our bill had already been paid. On the one hand, it's certainly a generous gesture, but a smile and a brief, clarifying conversation would have been perfectly sufficient. In the end, I was left with the feeling that they wanted to get rid of us, which I find very disappointing, as I've enjoyed visiting Chilli's for almost 30 years.

It tastes better and better every time.

This restaurant unfortunately has little to do with Mexican cuisine. But you don't necessarily expect that in Fürth. The ambiance is quite nice and authentic. One realistic expectation, however, is the quality of the food you ordered. Unfortunately, our plates were mixed up. We noticed this halfway through and were able to exchange them in time. But the dish wasn't just mixed up; it also didn't come with the ingredients the waitress had specifically written down for us. The "Mixed" category stated that you could choose your own ingredients. These requested ingredients, unfortunately, remained just that—requests—until the very end. A little later, we ordered a second beer, which unfortunately never arrived at our table. The restaurant wasn't very busy, so a chaotic situation shouldn't have arisen, and such a mistake shouldn't have happened. When we asked for some leniency and at least a refund for one drink, the waitress who took our payment told us, without apology or understanding, that we had to complain immediately and that a cancellation was not possible. She also said she couldn't verify whether our account was true. Despite photos as evidence, she insisted that a cancellation was no longer feasible. We paid for the order without leaving a tip.

The entire room is empty, and the staff forbids changing tables because they were too small. The staff is very unfriendly.

The burrito is certainly not special, but it's at least flavorful. Alright!

Well, let me put it this way: if you have a nice lady with you, it's definitely recommended! The food and service are excellent.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. The food tasted terrible, comparable to "cheap fast food." It wasn't worth the price. The service was very friendly, attentive, and quick. I commend that. However, the constant smoking at the entrance, with the door held open with a doorstop even as the food was being brought out, is also incomprehensible. I want to enjoy my meal without smoke. Unfortunately, there was no mention of enjoyment or clean air.

Definitely a good little spot for anyone who might be craving some Mexican food.. not as good as the states but we are quite a ways away so its a good spot to hold you over until you can get some back in the states

The food was so-so... After this test, I definitely prefer the nachos with cheese sauce instead of baked. Unfortunately, the food wasn't even lukewarm. When we mentioned it to the waitress, we were offered a scoop of ice cream as compensation. Well, that didn't improve the overall impression, unfortunately... It had no flavor at all and there were endless ice crystals. The waitresses were very nice and attentive.

Hey, your Gerdi in Fürth at chilii's in Fürth! The cheese frise are highly recommended, hot with lots of cheese! Be careful, it's hot!!! The dip is delicious!😁 Maybe a little more salt and some herbs like tarragon, oregano, or rosemary! Fresh, of course! Oh wow, those are my words for the chili con carne. A flavor explosion on the tongue😃 Highly recommended, also for the price-performance ratio! This restaurant is fantastic, with or without family! Four out of five from me 😁👍

Great atmosphere and a great vibe on the weekends! It's one of the bars in Fürth that's a bit busier on the weekends. There's also a beer garden. I highly recommend the margarita pitcher and the small plates like the chili cheese nachos.

As an American the food is underwhelming but the service and atmosphere was great and i got to try a drink called a dead nazi.

My partner and I wanted to eat locally. However, after we ordered the drinks, the waitress didn't come back for almost an hour. Other tables have also complained. The waitress then came to the other tables, but always had her back to us and ignored us. After over an hour, without food & without the waitress appearing again, we left. When paying, the amount was added. When collecting the money, the waitress didn't give all the change back, but kept the change WITHOUT ASKING. Never again, really disappointing.

The staff is really incredibly friendly and accommodating. The cocktails are some of the best in our area. Nothing is saved and the prices are more than fair. But since the kitchen staff changed, the food is really no longer recommended, except for the starters. The steaks are of such poor quality and for the price they are already suspicious of a steakhouse. I barely came with my steak knife! through the flesh. It wasn't hung well, which was clearly noticeable in the color and taste. It was fibrous like a roast even though it was rare in the middle. To be honest, it's a shame on the part of the kitchen to keep the prices the same even though inferior quality is used. It wasn't like that before. The side dishes didn't taste like anything. But I don't think that's the worst thing. The new garlic bread, however, was more than crap. Baguette slices fried to death in butter. It used to be much better and also tasted like garlic. So conclusion: Very popular for cocktails because of the lovely atmosphere. Food, no thanks!!!

The food was ok - there is better somewhere else. Cocktails so-so, maybe the colleague at the bar is still practicing. - However, the downfall was the service! I understood that the waitress didn't know that there was a veggie burger on the menu. Maybe it was her first day. But when we had to wait over 1/2 hour to pay even though the restaurant was almost empty and we had pointed out that we had to get to the bus! But they were neither interested nor made any effort to process the billing - no, we had to be talked to stupidly! Missed bus (next bus 1 hour later) equals missed tip! We communicated that too - reaction: she goes to the bartender and says, audibly for everyone in the restaurant: "...not a cent tip!" I would strongly suggest service training!

Outdated but very friendly and courteous service staff. You feel comfortable and like to come back.

Cool atmosphere, a large selection, great portions and a great taste. All of this at moderate prices. Service staff quick, attentive and friendly. It's your own fault, this is what you get out of it: We'll be back! ;-)

I was there spontaneously for a business trip. I was lucky enough to get a nice seat from the friendly bartender. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff - I'll remember it and will definitely come back.

We've been to Chillis several times and especially the waiter with the dark, tied hair is super friendly, quick and stays calm even when stressed. It's always fun to come back :)

Food was quite good, service could be improved. When we made a reservation for 6 p.m., we were told that we could only have the table until 8 p.m. (four of us ate and drank). Didn't find it that exciting. We were then allowed to stay longer. There were a number of other places still available...

Basically great!!! The service was annoyed... (there were 13 people and everyone ordered when they felt like it and didn't collect... so a lot of leg work...) but otherwise everything went well... maybe a little expensive... but the food was good very good

Mexican food, excellently prepared, large portions. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends. The parking situation is difficult, it is better to take public transport (U-Bahn Jakobinenstrasse). That's why only 4 stars

I went to the restaurant spontaneously and was really positively surprised at how good the food was. I had the 300g rump steak with baked potatoes and sour cream. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Price performance top ✌️

Hats off, I ordered a chili con carne to take away from the restaurant, it was so delicious! Hammer! Nice chilli spiciness. I'm already looking forward to this chilli when I visit Fürth again. Plus, I work there very nice and warm staff

The lunch menu is such a disgrace! Ordered two burritos to go for lunch this afternoon. According to the display outside, €6.90 per piece. But then they wanted €22 from me. When I asked about the take-away price they said “I should have said that earlier”?? Brother, you have to know your prices too? Completely incomprehensible and the employee had no understanding at all.

We wanted to go out for something to eat before going to the cinema and had made reservations in advance. Even when making the reservation, the service staff was curt and didn't react well, had to ask several times whether the reservation was made, the waitress forgot orders several times when eating, although as an excuse when ordering a cocktail they gave the jumbo version at no extra charge. Food was good and portions were OK but not outstanding. We'll probably go back for food before the cinema, also to see if the service just had a bad day or always works like that.

Terrible food, straight from the freezer...unfortunately. I had high hopes for this place. Coming from Florida in USA, I was hoping for some authentic Mexican food, and this is far from it. As a starter I had mushrooms with chili and garlic, it was well balanced in terms of spiciness. For the main course I had quesadas of chicken with jalapeno and cheese cream, which could have been a little spicier. I had nothing to complain about about the staff, they took care of our physical well-being

I went at night with friends after an event because we wanted to sit and talk but we had to speak very loudly. We saw that in the summer you have the possibility to sit outside. The waiter Ben was extremely kind and friendly. We ordered vegetable and mushroom quesadillas. I recommend the mushroom one.

People who knows about Mexican food will find the food really bad. And be careful when you order water. They will charge you 4€ for each glass of faucet water. We ordered three so, 12€ for faucet water.

Very nice, cozy restaurant. It is a restaurant/bar/sports bar. There are many delicious Mexican specialties but also dishes like breaded pork schnitzel etc. In principle I would say there is something for every taste. They also have very tasty cocktails, with and without alcohol. In summer there is even a beautiful beer garden

Nice cozy restaurant with a great ambience. Very good, quick, polite service. Particularly noteworthy was the service person Marsei, who served very carefully and nicely. We had a very nice evening and can recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately it's no longer the good quality it used to be... too expensive for that. Food arrived cold and carelessly thrown into the box after almost 1.5 hours. Minced meat wasn't good for my taste either. I won't be ordering here anymore...
