Himmel in Landshut

Sehr schönes Garten-Cafe, Waren dort zu 7 zu einem Frühstück. Personal sehr freundlich und kompetent. Haben dort auch schon Kuchen gekauft. Kann man sehr empfehlen.

Waren zufrieden. Einziger Kritikpunkt war das es sehr hellhörig war und jemand über uns extrem rum getrampelt ist bis 23 Uhr und um 5 Uhr ging's wieder weiter.

Ich war zwar leider nur eine Nacht hier, war aber sowohl mit dem Zimmer, dem sehr freundlichen Personal und dem leckeren Frühstück sehr zufrieden, wenn ich in der Gegend bin komme ich gerne wieder.

Waren zum Frühstück im Cafe Himmel. Hatten das himmlische Frühstück für zwei. Das Frühstück war reichlich, es gab Joghurt mit frischen Früchten und Müsli, Rührei mit Schinken, eine Wurst /Käseplatte mit Tomaten, Frischkäse, Honig, Marmelade. Einen grossen Korb mit gemischten Semmeln und Crossiant. Je einen Sekt, Orangensaft und ein Heißgetränk. Der Service war sehr freundlich, obwohl sehr viel los war. Wir fühlten uns wohl und kommen getne wieder.

Wir waren am 16. Mai 2026 mit 10 Personen abends vor Ort zum Essen und waren alle sehr sehr zufrieden: Das Servicepersonal war sehr nett, zuvorkommend und hilfreich. Unser Essen, egal ob Schnitzel, Salat oder Nudeln sehr schmackhaft und "anständige" Portionen. Hervorragend war auch der Kaiserschmarrn. Wir sind mehrmals im Jahr Gast beim Cafe Himmel.

Sehr schöne Zimmer ganz in der Nähe der Altstadt! Sehr sauber! Sehr gutes Frühstück!

Super Lokal mit guten Essen und sehr guten Kuchen

Ein absolut gemütliches kleines Café mit tollen Ambiente❤ haben hier gefrühstückt, es war wirklich für jeden was dabei. Eines unserer Highlights war unsere megaliebe Bedienung (Danke dir, hast uns den Tag wirklich versüßt😄), dazu ein Frühstück vom feinsten, von frische Semmeln bis hin zum frischen Obst mit Müsli und Joghurt, alles dabei 😍 Preis/Leistung absolut 1A. Auch die Speisekarte ist wirklich zu empfehlen, nicht überladen😊 Kommen gern wieder

Meine Tochter und ich hatten ein ganz tolles Frühstück mit allem drum und dran. Vielen lieben Dank auch an die Bedienung. Sehr aufmerksam und locker. Dankeschön. Wir kommen wieder.

Kleine, nette, freundliche und saubere Pension in top Lage. Das Frühstück ist nicht vom Buffet, aber so ausreichend, daß man davon satt wird, und lecker außerdem. Kein Wunder, daß man tagsüber im Cafe kaum einen freien Platz findet, weil es so gut besucht ist! Tagsüber ist es schwer, einen Parkplatz zu finden, hier sollte man auf die Parkhäuser oder die Grieserwiese ausweichen. Nachts konnten wir direkt vor dem Hotel kostenlos parken.

Der Event war sehr gemütlich, mit sehr gutem Essen, alle anwesenden haben es bestätigt. Und das nicht zum ersten Mal. Freue mich jetzt schon auf einen neuen Besuch.

Zentrum Nähe. Bushaltestelle vor der Pension. Auch zahlreiche Parkplätze in der Nähe. Lokal und Zimmer separat zu erreichen. Wunderbar geeignet für einen Kurzaufenthalt.

Ein wirklich wunderschönes Hotel Mit ganz viel Liebe geführt und betrieben. Nicht nur dem Inhaber merkt man seine Freude an seinem Tun an, auch die Angestellten waren immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war super lecker und ausreichend, und für den Preis mehr als günstig. Frisches Obst im Jughurt, Ei, Orangensaft, Semmeln und selbstgemachte Marmelade dazu Salami,Schinken,Käse Da blieb kein Wunsch offen. Ok die Portion Butter könnte etwas grösser ausfallen, aber das ist Ansichtssache. Auch das Abendessen und der Kuchen waren ein Gedicht. Und ein nettes Gesprächt mit dem Inhaber gab es oben auf. Die Zimmer sind riesig, die Betten bequem. Das Bad mit allem bestückt,was man benötigt. Ich würde tatsächlich mehr als 5 Sterne geben. Wir waren heute beim Spareribs-Essen im Café Himmel. Der Service war sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr gut. Jeden 2. Dienstag ist Rippaltag. Das kann ich jedem weiterempfehlen. Wir werden sicher nochmal kommen. Das Café ist auch bekannt für seine tollen und leckeren Torten. Rundum ein super Restaurant :-)

Super Essen, freundliches Personal

Wir haben für fünf Nächte im Hotel eingecheckt, incl. Frühstück. Frühstück in diesem Hotel sieht folgendermaßen aus: Man wird gefragt, was man trinken möchte. Dann ob es vegetarisch oder nicht sein soll. Wir haben dann pro Person ein Saft, zwei Semmeln bekommen, ein mini Töpfchen mit Butter, Marmelade und Aufschnitt (Käse und Schinken), ein Jogurt mit Müsli und frischen Früchten. Sowie einen Kaffee/Cappuccino. Die Qualität war wirklich sehr gut. Auf Nachfrage gab es noch einen Kaffee. So und jetzt kommt es. Auf die Frage, ob wir ein Ei bekommen könnten, hieß es: Das kostet extra. Ob wir ein weiteres Brötchen bekommen könnten: Das kostet extra. Selbst Butter sollte extra kosten, welche wir aber umsonst bekommen haben. Auf Nachfrage, warum man extra bezahlen soll, wenn man doch incl. Frühstück gebucht hat, wurde uns gesagt, dass das Frühstück pro Person nur 5,-€ kosten dürfte. Auf meinen Einwand, dass ein Frühstück auch mehr kosten dürfte (weil sehr gute Qualität), wusste die (sehr freundliche) Angestellte keine Antwort. Also, wer mehr als zwei (Aufback)Brötchen zum Frühstück isst, oder auf sein Frühstücksei nicht verzichten möchte, sollte wahrscheinlich ein paar Euro extra einkalkulieren. Ich schreibe wahrscheinlich, weil ab dem nächsten (den 4.) Morgen das Frühstück ganz anders aussah. Es gab ein gekochtes Ei und ein Minibrötchen pro Person dazu. Und nicht nur bei uns, auch die anderen Gäste haben es bekommen. Liebe Inhaber, warum nicht gleich so? Es erspart so viel schlechte Laune am Morgen... Ich wiederhole, für ein so leckeres Frühstück (super selbstgemachte Marmelade, toller Schinken, geschmackvolle Salami...) bin ich auch gerne bereit 7,50€ oder auch 10,00€ zu zahlen. Nur Diskussionen am Morgen, die möchte ich nicht. Und ich hoffe mal, dass der abgebildete Zettel bald überflüssig ist. Er hat bei uns ein schlechtes "Geschmackl" hinterlassen. Ansonsten hat es uns ganz gut gefallen. Wir hatten wohl ein noch nicht renoviertes Zimmer. In der zweiten Etage, ohne Fahrstuhl. Nach dem Duschen stand das Badezimmer unter Wasser. Das lag daran, das die Türen der Dusche nicht richtig schlossen. Wir hatten einen seitlichen TV Blick aus dem Bett heraus. Der Fernseher ist am anderen Ende (ca. 6m) des Zimmers, an der Seitenwand angebracht. Eine andere Wandhalterung mit größerem Schwenkbereich behebt das Manko. Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach nur gut. Direkt in der City, an der Isar. Das Abendessen kann man direkt im Hotel zu sich nehmen. Die Küche ist klasse. Wer kostenlos parken möchte, der findet von 19.00 Uhr bis 9.00 Uhr kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Hotel an der Straße, oder auf den umliegenden Parkplätzen. Nicht weit entfernt gibt es ein Parkhaus. Wir haben 15,00 € die Nacht gezahlt.

Das Kuchenangebot ist TOP! Als wir da waren, war ziemlich viel los. Eine Tisch-Reservierung kann nicht schaden.

Klein aber fein! Kleines, gemütliches und sehr authentisches Lokal! Leckeres Essen und selbstgemachte Kuchen. Wer auf gutes bayerisches Essen lust hat, muss unbedingt hin. Ihr müsst aber reservieren, da es wenig Platz und sehr gefragt ist.

Es gibt hier ganz leckere Kuchen.

I discovered the café through the Too Good To Go app, often bought food there for my children, and this time I received a moldy cake. Now I question the quality of the food. I'm wondering how long a cake has to sit there for it to get so moldy? Were the previous items also moldy, and I just didn't notice and gave them to my children? It's simply inhumane and incomprehensible to me. The app is for food that's still too good to throw away. But a moldy cake? Seriously? How long do the cakes sit there? Three or four days? And what sits there for over a week is then offered through the app? With the main goal being to make money? No, thank you!

Haben dort hervorragend gefrühstückt

Visited just for breakfast: cozy atmosphere, quick service, the scrambled eggs with ham, the yogurt muesli with fresh fruit, and the homemade jam were especially delicious. Unfortunately, they were out of whole-wheat rolls.

We were there for an exam reunion; the cakes were delicious, and later a very nice server served us a very good dinner! We'd love to come back and be amazed by our server's mental arithmetic skills!

You should definitely eat here at least once; my mouth is still watering. Hats off, and my cake dessert... it simply couldn't be better. This was my favorite Saturday.

We spent three wonderful days in Landshut, staying at the Hotel Himmel. We received a very warm welcome, enjoyed delicious food, had a plentiful breakfast, and our rooms were cleaned every day. We highly recommend it; the girls are very accommodating, highly recommended. We'll definitely be back 😉.

Good service and friendly staff

I went out to eat with my family today and were really disappointed with the food. Very small and only lukewarm portions. The service was friendly but very busy on her own. She did her best, but of course, she couldn't manage pouring and serving for just one person. It's a shame; we used to enjoy going there. I think that's a real shame.

A very cozy café/restaurant with good traditional dishes and delicious cakes. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Decorated in a country-style, it's a pleasant place to dine and relax. When the weather's nice, you can also sit outside on the quiet terrace. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I recently celebrated my birthday at this wonderful restaurant – and it was simply perfect! Even during the planning phase, the team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. All my wishes were not only taken into account, but often even exceeded. The atmosphere was atmospheric and just right for a special occasion – stylish, yet cozy and welcoming. The food was perfect: creative, fresh, and prepared with love. Every single course was a delight! I would especially like to highlight the service: attentive, fast, and warm – you could tell the passion that goes into their work. My guests and I felt completely at home. I am very grateful for this wonderful evening and can recommend the restaurant to anyone looking to celebrate something special. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience – I will definitely be back! Went out to dinner with a friend today – great atmosphere, excellent service, and the food was simply divine. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing service. Even though there was a lot on offer, the waitresses were unfazed. The Schwabenpfandl (swallow pan) arrived quickly. No long wait. I'd be happy to go again.

The staff was very unfriendly and not very customer-oriented. Upon arrival, we were given a form to fill out with our personal information. Then we stood there again, ignored, at the reception desk, and it took quite a while before we received any further assistance. It couldn't have been due to a lack of staff. There were three ladies on site. They couldn't help us with the hotel's hotspot, so we had no Wi-Fi. When we asked where we could park two motorcycles, we were met with shrugged shoulders and the answer, "Not here." The bed was so slanted that you hit your head every time you turned over. There was water on the windowsill. The stairs to the room were extremely steep and narrow. My husband had to duck his head to avoid hitting it. The room was clean, and the breakfast was good.

Ms. Franziska Zach recommended another hotel in Landshut via a link. After visiting this hotel last night, we hope this is not the norm in Landshut. We would like to thank you for this outstanding achievement in the hotel industry and will definitely recommend it to others. Just this recommendation, from someone who should be familiar with the Landhut hotel industry, I'd rather give it zero stars. But that's not possible on Google. After 61 years, I've only experienced the overbooking problem you describe at the Himmel-Landshut hotel. The booking was for November 1, 2024, and the cancellation was four hours before departure. I recently stayed at the hotel in Landshut and was absolutely thrilled! The rooms are modern, spacious, and very clean – you immediately feel at home. I would especially like to highlight the friendly and helpful staff: from the warm welcome at check-in to personalized recommendations for the evening – truly top-notch! The central location is ideal: in just a few minutes, you're in the historic old town with all its sights and charming cafés. For me, one thing is clear: this hotel is a top address in Landshut – stylish, personal, and highly recommended!

We had reserved a table for June 18th three weeks in advance so we could hold our small company party there. When we arrived 10 minutes early, we waited until they told us there were no tables available. We weren't even greeted properly and were treated rudely. However, the table for the 7 p.m. crowd was kept free. Then they moved us to a table that was only suitable for two people, and there were four of us. So we decided to eat elsewhere.

Well I have to say that it was one of the best cafes I have ever visited, not only the drinks and the food were a 10/10 but also the staff are super friendly and funny especially the minor waitress Amy, I haven't felt so comfortable in a cafe for a long time :)

We were at Cafe Himmel again yesterday. We knew there was a new chef and new service staff. We were very disappointed. The service was abysmal; we had to wait 45 minutes for our first drink. The food actually came out quite quickly, and everything was very tasteless. We weren't even asked if we wanted anything else; we had to call out for each drink. When all we had left was warm beer, the evening was ruined. After another 40 minutes, we were finally able to pay and leave. Unfortunately, that was our last visit to Cafe Himmel.

A very tidy and lovingly run small guesthouse with excellent food and top-notch service. We felt completely at home during our mom-daughter retreat – thank you for the wonderful moments and the wonderful memories that come with them.

Even though the beer garden was packed, everything went very quickly. The food is highly recommended, with delicious delicacies on the daily specials as well. Heaven in Landshut is an insider tip 👍🏻

It's a shame there are only 5 stars; I would give it 10. The ambiance and cuisine are perfect. Huge portions, super tasty, and the price is right. The service is amazing. The young waiter was a bit out of sorts, but you really have to find someone like that!!! Friendly, courteous, in a great mood, and extremely attentive. The chef is also great! I've never eaten such good Kaiserschmarrn. He grinned from the kitchen and said, "You'd think it was Grandma's, and then I came out of the kitchen." Our regulars will definitely be back!

Beautiful historic cafe and pub right on the Isar River. We were out on our moped and stayed there for one night. The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was amazing, and we were served deliciously. We'd be happy to come back anytime. Thanks to the friendly team 😊

My husband and I rarely experienced such a friendly, attentive and customer-friendly restaurant with charm and humor in the very cozy restaurant. The food is highly recommended.

We were here a week ago and actually know Cafe Himmel as clean and cozy. We sat in the garden at a dirty table, i.e. the table had not been wiped down. The entire outdoor area was in a dirty, unkempt and run-down condition. We know the garden differently from our visits in previous years. That day there were only two waiters available for the entire service, with one waiter appearing rather unkempt and having dirty hands. We'll probably cross Cafe Himmel off our list.

Absolutely not recommended the food. It was bland and overcooked. And the service wasn't that good either. We don't go here anymore.

We were here for lunch in the early afternoon. The glasses we received were dirty (full of limescale stains and dirt). Why don't they check things like that before serving them? The Kaiserschmarrn was burnt and partly too raw. The baked potato was completely broken at one end (you could see it on the outside of the potato). Why do they serve something like that to their guests? The salad that came with it had some brown spots and wasn't fresh anymore. It's a shame. We won't be eating here again.

This was the end of our journey. The booking went well. Parking had already been explored beforehand...were in the nearby CCC department store 15 euros per day was very cheap...nice reception in the house, room large and nicely furnished in the usual way...large bathroom (our heater was cold in the bathroom, I didn't know how to turn it on...no matter...breakfast was brought to the table with everything our hearts desired...we also had dinner, it was very tasty both times...staff was very nice...which I found stupid...there was no armchair etc. there was only one A stool...but a chair was brought to us...we went to the city and the Christmas market over the bridge in no time...we still found it really nice without the heating, bathroom (that was our mistake) and would come back...highly recommended

Absolutely recommended! We had a great afternoon at this restaurant! The service was incredibly friendly and made sure that we had enough space as a group - really great service. Today we were there for breakfast. We were welcomed very nicely. Unfortunately the breakfast was very disappointing. There were baked rolls from the freezer. If you didn't bake it yourself, then there would certainly be a very good baker in Landshut. The butter portions and the cream cheese portions are extremely economical. Plus some jam, an egg and a coffee. Of course you have to save for 8.20 a.m. during this time. Too bad. I would pay €12 if there was a slice of fresh farmer's bread, pretzel or croissant or vegetable strips for a small breakfast. Make the whole thing a little nicer for the eye. 😉😊

I was at Café Himmel today, I ordered turkey schnitzel with fried potatoes, it came full of oil, I only ate schnitzel then I wanted to pay and I complained. It was greasy and I didn't get a salad. The waitress with his high Bavarian dialect was rude, didn't apologize and then just conceded, it's a shame ☹️ even though it was so expensive, everything used to be even better

I visit Café Himmel regularly for dinner and am always impressed. It always tastes fresh and delicious, and the great salads are particularly noteworthy. The staff is nice and friendly and you never wait long for your food.

Best Kaiserschmarrn in Lower Bavaria!

Pension Himmel is located very centrally to the city and yet quietly on the Isar. The rooms were modern and functional, the bathroom was rather large. The bed is soft, but still comfortable. The breakfast was rich and very nicely arranged. In addition to rolls, sausage and cheese, there were eggs, orange juice and yoghurt. You could choose from different types of coffee. Breakfast is taken in the in-house rustic café. Parking spaces are available nearby. We can recommend the guesthouse and would happily book it again when visiting Landshut.

We always enjoy coming here because there is a cozy, rustic atmosphere here. The menu has something for everyone, even vegetarians will find what they are looking for. And if you somehow find space after the main course, there is also a huge selection of great cakes and other delicacies for those with a sweet tooth. I always feel like I'm in grandma's room.

The hotel is in a central location from which you can walk to the city center in 3 minutes. Unfortunately there is no parking space and the closest parking space that you can use to avoid throwing money into the parking meter every hour is a parking garage about 300 meters away that costs €12 per day. The rooms are very simple and very small. The view from our window was the wall of the neighboring building, about 1 meter away. Although it was a room for 2 people, there was only one chair in the room (admittedly there wasn't much more room), the TV was about the size of a normal work screen (if that). The bathroom was fine and overall it was clean. The room was also clean, although I always find carpets (and even fluffy ones) questionable from a hygiene perspective. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. Overall it's a bit "too little hotel for too much money" but that's probably a general problem in Landshut and the surrounding area. I would have liked to have received the tip about the rentable parking space when I arrived at the hotel, especially since I specifically asked for it. Now it's a bit too late to respond to my review, isn't it? And, the fact that you deleted your answer after I replied speaks volumes. You should stand by what you say, right?

This is the third time we've been to heaven for a weekend... and it's just great. Central location to the center, great breakfast, requests are taken into account and asked for, menu is great and homemade cake! TOP Don't forget to reserve...

Nice guesthouse in a very old house. Room (No. 9) was very large and spacious. 1 point deducted because alternative nutrition is a foreign word here. And I'm just talking about plain, natural yogurt. I was here twice and had even registered it in advance and it still wasn't possible, even though it was promised to me in writing

I can only agree with the positive reviews from the last few weeks/months. We stayed here for the first time for 4 days and had the same good experiences and felt very comfortable. Top price performance! Where can you get a 20 sqm double room with a bathroom, including a hairdryer and cosmetic mirror as well as shampoo/shower gel for around 100 euros - breakfast included!? Everything was clean, box spring beds were comfortable and at 80 cm completely fine. The single room (No. 2) had a large bed and desk - ideal for business travelers. It is not handicapped accessible here, but it is also a historic house. Next time in Landshut we will be in heaven again 😉

The Hotel Himmel is perfectly located in front of the city center of Landshut. Our room was more of an apartment with a kitchen and dining area. It was a bit old, but the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated. The traditional hotel scores with a cafe, the cake is very tasty. The hotel also has a small courtyard where you can sit comfortably and eat your coffee and cake. The breakfast was generous and had everything your heart could desire. We would love to come back to this house.

We booked 6 nights in a double room by phone, the booking confirmation came promptly via email upon request. The room (like a small apartment) was very clean, tastefully decorated and cozy. The breakfast was very plentiful and tasty with coffee, eggs, sausage, cheese and jam. You always have to reserve a table in the cafe. The selection of cakes is huge. Very friendly service. We'd love to come back.

It looks a bit inconspicuous but is comfortably furnished and has a beautiful and quiet garden. Delicious food and completely reasonable prices. Clear recommendation.
